    Best game ever made, Uncharted 4 is the absolute must have on ps4, and the best reason to own the console. It is absolutely obvious that the low scores on the user reviews come from Xbots.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i think that uncharted now have what it was actually misses in some way.. the graphics are honestly the best graphics in the market right now . finally uncharted has become more realistic and it is not seems like treasure hunt puzzle game . the challenges are better than ever played in a way massive and breathtaking environment . i think sony and naughty dogs take it to a new level .. i have seen some zeros and i dont know but everyone votes ten or zero nothing between so this is suspicious.. maybe are some xbox guys i dont know..… Expand

    Almost flawless game! This is surely the best game of this generation; perfect graphics, solid gameplay, amazing characters and a masterpiece of storytelling.

Alright, the game itself is very good. The storytelling and dialogue is very natural and the new characters are very good (Nadine and Sam. Rafe was unlikable, but that's the point anyways...). Alright, the game itself is very good. The storytelling and dialogue is very natural and the new characters are very good (Nadine and Sam. Rafe was unlikable, but that's the point anyways...). The start is slow for the story to settle in, so it doesn't feel like Sam was shoehorned in. It picks up during Madagascar. The number of QTEs are not as much as The Order 1886 as many claim to be. It's around the same number as The Last of Us. The graphics of the game is an achievement, especially on the limited PS4 hardware, and the character models with really good facial deformation gives the acting the much-needed nuance. The gameplay is the same as previous games but more refined. A lot of fanboys would argue that it's the same gameplay and not innovative. And I ask them, which AAA titles have they played that is innovative in this day and age. I loved The Witcher 3, but it's the same mechanics as its predecessor. Only innovation we'll probably get is out of indie games. The rope is an okay addition, because I didn't use it much in combat.
    In conclusion, if you like the UC series, the ending is amazing and you'll feel for the characters. Even if you're new, you'll still like it a lot.
    Performance wise, the start has few frame drops. But other than that, it's very stable and locked 30 fps.
    Good: storytelling, action, graphics, character development.
    Bad: didn't step up from previous games, boss fight (big QTE), setpieces not as epic as predecessors.    … Expand

    Naughty Dog has done it again! The most graphically beautiful game released for this gen, an extremely well balanced narrative pace, amazing and unforgettable characters, a captivating soundtrack and a near perfect conclusion for such an awesome adventure franchise.

    O melhor jogo que joguei nesta geração, achei que U4 não conseguiria vencer Dark souls 3 e Metal gear, mas estava enganado. Os melhores gráficos já produzidos em um jogo estão aqui.     Excellent, great gameplay, plot and graphics, the best game of 2016. and in my opinion of PS4, remarkable. it can't be described here, but when something don't captive you and its boring you just say yeah okay, but this one is like a movie and catch your attention and its inspiring, its a must have. check reviews everywhere they won't change that much because its just amazing

    Truly beautiful game with an amazing eye for details! The game has great graphics and outshines every single other console game. Definitely a game for the people who enjoy a great story over non-repetitive gameplay. Animations are gorgeous and the game even hints to some 4th wall breaking from time to time.     Naughty Dog did it again. fantastic game with the best graphic at 8 generation. I think only who can beat is The Last of Us 2. When others delevopers say "we can't do more because new consoles are weak then naughty dog created the most advanced game on playstation 4. Naughty Dog always rubs a trail with new generation like then when they created Uncharted.

    What the hell is going on this game is easily a 9 on a scale of 10. Must be 4 Chan stirring up trouble again. this is one situation where you shouldn't pay attention to the user score this is a beautiful game and any true fan of the uncharted series will agree with me.

    Game is stunning, an absolute masterpiece of a game. Everything in this game is done perfectly with little to no issues. Ignore the morons who are giving this game a low score, they only wish they could play something as perfect as this game.

    This is probably the best Playstation 4 exclusive of all time. It has amazing graphics, great gameplay and fantastic cutscenes. This game, Unhcarted 4, is a MUST PLAY for every owner of a Playstation 4. Evrething was made with love for the fans, Naughy Dog just doing it right again.

    Naughty Dog delivers once again! The graphics are amazing, the story is almost on TLOU-level in my opinion and the gameplay got even better. It is not perfect but no game will ever be so for me its still 10/10.

    I am not sure what others are this is a 1080p game that runs at 60 fps. If they wrote that it is bad and 30 fps they obviously never played it. It was only 30 fps at e3 2015.

But Uncharted doesn't need any of those. The franchise never took itself seriously, it proudly reveled in its Indiana Jones pulp action vibe, it was like a comic brought to life with love and a hell of a lot of tongue in cheek. All that is pretty much gone in this one. Uncharted was a boyish larger-than-life fantasy and had a tone all of its own, and Druckmann's and Straley's version pretty much misses the mark for the most part. Yes, the acting is amazing as usual, but the tone's completely different once you look beneath the surface. Sure, the set pieces are there, the quips, the banter, the action - but now they are like they'd be in any movie these days. Same goes for the score: Greg Edmondson not only created three outstanding soundtracks and extremely catchy themes you just have to hum along, he wrote music that was unmistakably Uncharted in a nutshell. But he got the boot, too, because Druckmann and Straley wanted Henry Jackman. He certainly did a good job with the score for Uncharted 4, but this one sounds like any other action movie score. The light-hearted fun, the tongue in cheek, the old-fashioned serial vibe, the sense of wonder and adventure - completely gone.

    Yes, the game is visually stunning, and yes, it controls nicely. (Apart from the surprisingly bad driving physics.) But it also feels quite repetitive for long stretches, and because they toned down all of what makes Uncharted what it used to be, the game doesn't find enough to make up for what's lost. It's still a worthwhile game, don't get me wrong, but it's a sad ending for a franchise that was so stalwart in its old-fashionedness that it managed to become original again. Especially lamentable is the fact that the original team wasn't allowed to see their vision come to an organic conclusion, but that they were replaced with another one who just wanted to be different from their predecessors - thereby creating a game that's really nothing special anymore. I don't see that a more down to earth and lifelike characterization and a melancholy overdose that reminds you of TLOU time and again is what this franchise needed. It's like Indiana Jones having an identity crisis in the Last Crusade, or Luke Skywalker trying to make a difficult marriage work in Return of the Jedi. And to add insult to injury, they made sure that there would never be another Uncharted game again, because they "told Nate's story". Nathan Drake was never more than the archetype of the reckless, witty, loveable rogue with just as much background as was necessary, and he didn't need to be. So they went ahead and neutered what made him what he was and pretended that this was a complex character's story whose arc had to come to a close. If they hadn't shut the door to potential sequels, if there was the possibility for another classic Uncharted, I wouldn't feel so bad, but as Nate's sendoff this is a massive disappointment.

    Tell you what, Naughty Dog: This franchise was totally different from what Druckmann and Straley like to do. And that was okay. But if they really didn't like anything about Uncharted, maybe you shouldn't have given the project to them, but worked out things with Hennig. You know, the lady who put this thing together in the first place and was responsible for its success?    … Expand

We are blessed by the gaming gods that we still have companies willing to flesh out a single player campaign to this extent with such a vibrant world.     I was very confusing about if this game would be better than the previous games (Uncharted 2 my favourite). And good news guys!!
    Excellent game so far, the graphics are amazing, the gunplay is beautiful and the story line just perfect!! Must play on PS4.

    Unbelievably great game. Best game of this generation closely beating even Witcher 3. Best Uncharted game yet yes it is as good as 2. On par with The Last of Us and if anything it is even better. Easily the best looking game ive ever played. Pacing somewhere near the end was the only issue other than that its perfect.     Very overrated game. It's mostly pretty graphics with a very mediocre story and gameplay. You're usually going to just be looking for which rock you're going to have to grab next before another boring cutscene. Overall it just feels like you're making an effort to play a bad version of an Indiana Jones adventure movie.

    Played 3 hours so far, I enjoying every minute till now, can't put it down. This is the best Uncharted game, and the best Third Person Shooting game I've ever played. And it is definitely worth the finale of the series.
    Pros:
    1. Graphics, awesome, just plain nice, every screen, very detailed work there. 2. Story line is complete, and from this episode, we finally KNOW Nathan Drake, the    Played 3 hours so far, I enjoying every minute till now, can't put it down. This is the best Uncharted game, and the best Third Person Shooting game I've ever played. And it is definitely worth the finale of the series.
    Pros:
    1. Graphics, awesome, just plain nice, every screen, very detailed work there.
    2. Story line is complete, and from this episode, we finally KNOW Nathan Drake, the whole character is finally complete. And most important, Naughty Dog is always good at making dilemmas, whatever in the character decisions or relations, we have known this in the Last of Us for the decisions that Joe made. This time, a new dilemma, Sam. This guy is not a good guy but also not bad. To Nathan at least for now I played, he's the big brother, to Sam, Nathan is the only one that he can trust, but look at what he brought to his beloved brother, almost annihilation to his life, is Sam revenging Nathan for his leaving in Panama? Let's see.
    3. Shooting aiming assist improved a lot, someone may think it's like cheat (similar to GTA5), for me, it's definitely big leap ahead, I can focus on story, action and tactic stuff, not my clumsy aiming skills.
    4. Action phase is more intense, and character model react to environment got a lot improvement, comparing to The Last of Us. Everything is just so smooth, you felt that is Nathan's world and he was there.
    5. The sound track, intense or soft, perfect melt in.

    Cons:
    1. Still some little bugs there, if no clue, you may need to restart checkpoint or just die and reload again, not big ones.
    2. Not fully open world game actually, I consider GTA5 and Far Cry as open world games, which means the entire map will be loaded once and for all time, UC4 is like partial open world, some of the chapter will have a open world map but not all the chapters.
    3. Sometimes the action parts are too much cinematic and dramatic, which makes you feel a little bit fake.

    Anyway, Naughty Dog did a very good job again, its games basically are the reasons that I dived into SONY's consoles, and it's worth it. Way to go and well done.    … Expand

    Pros: - most beautiful game ever ! (on console at least) - nice story telling - great cut-scenes - very good gameplay and feelings - awesome animations - a lots of varied places with beautiful panoramas - took me 24h    I wasn't a huge fan of the 3 first episodes, but i have to admit that UC4 is a masterpiece. It reminds me The Last Of Us on several points, which a very good thing.

    - great cut-scenes

The attention to detail in this game is jaw dropping awe inspiring at the least. The only struggle i had in this game was putting the controller down, i just wanted to keep going and not wanting it to end.     anyway my review Campaign 8.5/10 graphics are great lacks gameplay to keep me interested in certain points such as the repetitive puzzles in certain points.
    Multiplayer a bit bias as i dont like the multiplayer and i dont think its as good as uncharted 2 anyway but its decent.    Hard to tell with user reviews normally they show a good example of how good the game is but with this i wonder.

    After quite enjoying the Nathan drake collection and seeing the gameplay trailers was certain this was gonna be a complete classic. Unfortunately after the 2 hours of cut scenes you have to get through to even start the game I was already gutted. If the story was made into a film it would be totally unwatchable and does not even compare to something like National treasure 2 with NicholasAfter quite enjoying the Nathan drake collection and seeing the gameplay trailers was certain this was gonna be a complete classic. Unfortunately after the 2 hours of cut scenes you have to get through to even start the game I was already gutted.     The puzzles are completely basic and clichéd where you just twist a few symbols and some secret passage unlocks. Why no one in some of these buildings never thought to push the secret buttons before is not explained or no one cares. At one point you find a long lost tomb which is fully lit with candles?

    In the brief moments when you actually control the character you are mostly climbing which requires no skill at all and you just follow the obvious path to your next tedious cut scene. Next minute you are pushing a crate around because you cant climb up a 3 meter gap even though you just previously ascended a 50 meter wall with no problem.

    Gunfights are the highlight and unfortunately they are very average. Almost 20 years ago when I shot someone in the foot in Goldeneye on the N64 he hopped around and limped. In U4 you can shoot a man in the face and nothing happens because you did not remove his helmet first.. The only other objective is to collect random objects with no meaning or history to the game.

    There is just so much laziness in this game and it seems that all the effort went into the graphics which are absolutely excellent at times.    … Expand

    Worst game ever. It offers nothing new to the franchise. Music is bland. The story is boring. Options are poor. This is the worst game i have ever played. Most people who play this are letting the previous game's in this franchise dictate how good this game is. Not worth the money i put down.

    Beautiful game to look at but very little substance in gameplay, combat is average, puzzles are trivial (hey just look at these diagrams in the journal!), too much climbing and watching drake almost fall of a ledge that gets comical, very tedious you spent hours In this game climbing ledges (which is not fun or challenging)

    Not once during this short campaign did i feel it was any different than the previous games. Even remakes are more original than this copy fest. Every mechanic from the previous games is copied over with no new game-play mechanics added. And wayyyy to long cinematics.

    Uncharted 4 is a masterpiece. Go out and get it, you won't regret it. This is Naughty Dog's best game yet. Stunning graphics, top of the line voice acting, huge levels to explore and a very mature story makes Uncharted 4 the best way to farewell Nathan Drake.

    The best game I've ever played. I'm a big fan of the previous games, the Uncharted series is my favorite video game series and Uncharted 3 used to be my favorite video game ever. That changed with Uncharted 4. This game has wonderful mechanics, the best graphics I have ever seen and a very compelling story. This game truly is a masterpiece.

Fights are ok, exciting enough, but all the jumping around from one storm-ridden cliff to another is just too crazily unrealistic. I can handle Tomb Raider's level of unrealism, but not this.… Expand

    En jugabilidad es juego es lo tipico que hemos visto ya en la saga pero mejorada y pulido con algunos añadidos como el uso del gancho,tambien se nutre mcuho de tener una jugabilidad pulida que responde perfectamente y una inteligencia enemiga que si bien no es la mas lista del mundo es de las mas inteligentes en el universo uncharted,ya que nos buscan flanquear,contrarrestan nuestros ataques y trabajan en equipo no solo disparando si no tambien inmobilizandonis entre 2 como un equipo.
    En fin pra culminar el multiplayer es un gran añadido que ha tenido mucho importancia en la saga desde uncharted 2 y que llega a uncharted 4 de una manera muy refinada pero sin pretenciones de ser una obra maestra como si lo es su campaña pricipa.

Not spoiling to much of the story, but Uncharted 4 opens up with Nathan Drake having retired from the treasure hunting business and seeminglyI really take my hat off to Uncharted 4’s writers, Neil Druckmann and Josh Scherr, you can clearly see they have an amazing understanding of how real people assess and reacts to emotional situations, especially when they have something to lose. Not spoiling to much of the story, but Uncharted 4 opens up with Nathan Drake having retired from the treasure hunting business and seemingly embraced the ordinary life with us now wife Elena. He now owns a house and said mortgage on the house, and for all intents and purposes he is just an average Joe now doing mostly normal salvage work. But this all changes when he learns that his brother Samuel is alive and well and in need of his help using his skills as a treasure hunter.

    Between the two writers and the amazing voice talents of both voice actor Troy Baker and Nolan North. It doesn’t take you long to appreciate and get attached to Samuel as Nathan’s brother. He is confident and charismatic, pretty much like his little brother. But he is also clearly in awe of Nathan’s skills and talent as a treasure hunter. Nathan has also done some growing up and maturing since Uncharted 3, he often acts as the voice of reason throughout the story. This is rather jolting in a series known for reckless sense of adventure, but it also clearly demonstrates a level of maturity that Nathan has gained throughout is prior adventures. And that shows a level of commitment by Neil Druckmann and Josh Scherr to the character of Nathan Drake.

    But even more importantly we get to see the relationship between Nathan and Elena develop. How as a married couple they battle with their past and current events. And how the current set of events that unfold puts a strain on their relationship. The most touching scene for me in the entire game was when Nathan having just discovered an important new clue, babbles excitedly about it and basically “geek outs” while Elena listens. “That’s incredible,” she says, but you know from the look of love and utter heartbreak on her face that she’s not talking about Nathan’s story he is telling her. But rather Nathan’s addiction to the thrill of the chase, and what it might mean for their own troubled relationship and marriage.

    To be able to read that level of emotion from a video game characters face, rather than having them spell out their feelings through voice acting, is an extremely rare achievement in video games. Naughty Dog has always set the bar high for cinematic storytelling in video games (The Last of Us comes to mind). But the digital performances in Uncharted 4, combined with the talented actors providing the characters voices and movements set the bar for the industry standard even higher than I ever could have imagined. The same amount of perfection and polish that went into the motion capture also went into the rest of the game. I lost count the amount of times I just randomly stopped during the game to appropriate the scenery around me.

    The game also sports some of the best world design I have ever seen, and I am not over exaggerating here. There’s a painstaking amount of detail that went into every part of Uncharted 4, to the point where I began to worry I wasn’t seeing every last bit of it so I ended up exploring every single nook and cranny while playing for fear of missing out on another amazing vista or view. And like everything else in Uncharted 4, Naughty Dog has vastly improved the combat system. Every combat situation in Uncharted 4 now has multiple solutions, you can either go in guns blazing or take the stealthy approach. There are now multiple paths (Thanks to the more expansive areas) from which you can engage your targets, which you can now tag which is an extremely handy feature.

    And both the grappling hook and refined stealth system make it easier to out manoeuvre your enemies, you now have the ability to use your grappling hook in combat and sneak through tall grass. The best encounters in Uncharted 4 plays out like a chess game, with you attempting to find a route to out flank your enemies and gain the upper hand. On the harder difficulty levels you end up dying more than once, but instead of it becoming frustrating like other games it becomes more of a challenge, to see what other route or methods you can use to out-fight and out-flank your enemies.

    I can consider the best Playstation 4 title and video game I have played to date and right next to The Last of Us. And when it is all said and done, Uncharted 4 delivers the fan service franchise fans will absolutely love and enjoy. And in the process giving us one of the best send-offs we could have ever asked for Nathan Drake and his crew.    … Expand

    Beautiful scenery and a fun story make this a great game. Their sentimental touches for fans coupled with a classy ending make this a masterpiece. It won't get the near the play time of many of my other favorites, but the quality of time spent makes it one of my all time favorites.

It's not only the best Uncharted ever, the best Nathan Drake's adventure or the best PS4 exclusive, but a mark in the video game's industry. With incredible setpieces, storyline and gameplay this game should be played by everyone. Couldn't be more sad because it's the last one, or so they say (Cassie, looking at you).     This is easily the best narrative-driven action game I've played in forever. It's hilarious, touching and exciting. It's got a tighter build, with a lot of the overlong gunfights of yore trimmed down into a very streamlined experience with just the right amount of every game-play element to make it constantly fun and fresh. Everything about the action, and every single scene, just feel right. From a gameplay perspective - my only gripe is the grappling hook, as that is usually the result of a poor platformer regaining balance. There's also the problem with grappling hooks in videogames in general in that, you guys, grappling hooks don't work that way and it's easily the most unbelievable thing in all of Uncharted, jumps, explosions, curses and all. Fortunately it's not as overused as you'd expect and makes for some cool bits - I wouldn't wish it away, merely that it wasn't so cartoonish.

    And like I said - this thing is GORGEOUS. Not just the fidelity of the particles; it looks like a water painting at times, and at others it's photo realistic. Scenes are stuffed to the gills with detail, some of which interactable. It's a MAGNIFICENT world that feels lush and lived in and rich and, most of all, real (but with highlighted ledges everywhere :P )

    Bottom line is - play this game's campaign. It is almost a perfect action-platforming shooter experience wrapped in gorgeous graphics and loveable characters and dialogue, and that is no hyperbole - it is a pinnacle of a long career of missteps (Uncharted 3) and almosts (Uncharted 1); Naughty Dog worked long and hard to get here, and they deserve the accolades.

    As for multiplayer... well, honestly, who cares for arena multiplayer anymore? It's fun, but that's not why you buy an Uncharted.    … Expand

    Beautiful game! A must for all ps4 owners.... The story, graphics and animations are amazing, the controls are still a bit clunky though. Still deserves a 10! The multiplayer is good but not perfect. They need to fix the levelling system!

    This game is graphically stunning, humorous dialogue and most importantly plays brilliantly. Great locations to explore and a huge selection of effective and interesting weapons. This is one of the best games this generation and every PS4 owner should add it to their collection. A great game that I would recommend to anyone.

    oh my god i love this game i waited for final installment to Uncharted series i enjoyed my self playing as nathan drake exploring the jungles and doing impossible but fun puzzle.

    i love graphic and amazing detail of environment is beautiful to landscape to beautiful jungles well detail

    i give it 10/10 awesome game way finish off the installment

Uncharted 4 is the best game in the 8th generation and I don't think there will be any other game that can match the shear brilliance that this game brings.     I can't believe people are giving this game a zero. They must be butthurt Xbox users who are jealous that they can't play the game. Everything about this game is amazing and it's definitely worth the buy. Don't listen to people that are giving it such low scores

    "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" is easily the best in the series in every way. It looks better, obviously, but it also has more refined and varied gameplay and a much more mature and emotional plot, while keeping the fun and lightheartdness of the series. It's hard to explain withough spoiling it, but the game has really good writing, and you see it took some of the good stuff from The Last of Us.

    WOW great game, it looks amazing also the story is addicting!! I didn't really play the multiplayer so I cant really comment on that but I recommend this game. You don't need to play the previous Uncharted to understand the story

    Stating that the forthcoming game will be the last rendezvous with a popular, charismatic hero is a rare phenomenon. I congratulate Naughty Dog on their courage and in spite of myself keep my fingers crossed for them to stick to their decision. The farewell party they threw for Nate is simply spectacular. This is how I want to remember him, not as an old man who rubbed his joints with pain cream and then found a UFO. Uncharted 4 is a brilliant game and a breathtaking demonstration of what PS4 is capable of. [07/2016, p.56]
