The only negative I have with this game is that it ends too soon. I felt this game would’ve been more suited to being an open world game rather than a short campaign story. Overall, this game is a masterpiece. Gameplay, soundtrack, and story were all top notch. Expand

Special Note: The fact that as you progress you can continue to use the Titan setup you prefer vs being forced to use others was a very appreciated design decision.

Multiplayer - Fun pacing for players. Nothing beats Attrition as it is hands down an amazingly paced yet fun style of gameplay. The fun of the mode is complemented by the fact that the losing team has one last opportunity/life to make it to make the rendezvous with an extraction ship while being hunted down by the winning team.

Overall - Worth the money and reminiscent of the campaigns of past decades in which a few hours of combat and a decent script made for an excellent addition to the game.

One point docked from an otherwise incredible game due to one or two MP maps being either boring or convoluted.

The game shows off anew style of game with the involvement of mech's known as Titans. The first Titanfall was praised of being something fresh and new with the other shooters being more grounded and predictable in its gameplay. The problem with the first Titanfall was that it only featured Multiplayer with very few content that wasn't enough to make it 60 dollars worth and with the lifespan of only lasting a few months, it was very surprising to see that the game got a sequel. So does it measure up to even better than its predecessor or does it fall flat under with the other grounded shooters?

Developers Respawn Entertainment as gotten a lot of backlash with the consumers about not having enough in the first Titanfall and one of them was that the game lacked a campaign mode. They have now addressed that and have added a campaign in Titanfall 2. From what I have played, the campaign is very good if not being very cliche on its story. I played as a Pilot name Jack Cooper whose job is to stop an evil cooperation from developing a weapon that can destroy planets. It sounds really basic with the good vs evil kind of thing, but what makes the campaign story fun to play through was the companion I got at the beginning. The companion was named BT-7274 or BT for short. He is a Titan that is linked to Jack Cooper in which gave a battle advantage in a lot of scenarios. Throughout the campaign, the relationship between BT and Jack was written out well with given dialogue between the two and funny skits that was amusing which gave character to mechanical titan as he gives unusual literally responses that doesn't help the given situation or him trying to give Jack a thumbs up.

Given that, the gameplay of the game is astonishing. The game is a shooter but the spin of the whole game is that the player is given to free maneuver around. To jumping over 40 ft in the air from running on walls as the player is shooting at Titans or pilots, the game is endless on its scenarios. From my playthrough, I was able to use a variety of weapons from Sub-machine guns to Auto-Pistols with the given setting of the world as each gun sound is impacting and astounding to listen to. The sound of the game is very well done as Titans clash against each other with the metals grazing or when a Titan punches on a Pilot, the pilot just burst into red mist.

The only problem I had with the game was that even though the campaign was really refreshing to play, the story was too predictable and tameness as nothing in the story was climatic, given the amazing set pieces of the game. The villain's in the weren't fleshed out as well with one popping up after another. I don't really even know their end game since the ones I fought were mercenaries for hire. I wished the story was given more thought and the world was told better to help the player be more involved in the world.

The game has a few flaws that would've made it even better but I am very happy of what I got. Titanfall 2 is an outstanding game with newly fresh gameplay and beautiful scenery. I say that it is a buy for anyone who wants a shooter or something different from the usual modern warfare.

I was expecting to have campaign similar to Call of Duty, just not long doll story packed with action but I was surprised by its original ideas and kinda slow paced story. Specially level with time changing is awesome and memorable. And in the end game is going to epic mode and you are experiencing really satisfying ending. However, campaign is short and it is not enough to have any emotional connection with characters. Characters do not have time to be fully open their stories.
Multiplayer looks kinda nice. I really like customization and how fluent it is. But like I said I did not spend enough time with that.
I hope we will see TitanFall 3. Please buy that game and you wont regret unless you hate FPS shooters.

For the Multiplayer i can just say "wow". It's fast and smooth. The Game-modes are unique in my oppinion and the fact that you don't have a pay-2-win aspect or even dlc (EA said so) is awesome.
I think the game is what CoD could have been but failed. if you like sci-fi shooter with mechs: try it.

Great fun. The campaign is fairly short, but great to play. The graphics are very good, the gameplay is challenging, but not overly so. The human weapons are more fun to use than the titan weaponry. The titans could have been kitted out with guns that wowed a bit more, but this isn't a major issue. Probably best to let it drop in price before purchasing, due to the limited replay value it has.

The multiplayer mode has many of modes, where you can find one of which more adap for your abilities, and you find game very quick, in less than minute I was playing ever. My favourite is bonty hunt, where you earn points for fulfill objectives, when the titans are called is the best of the game and the fights are amazing and spectacular.
Plus all DLC are free, where add more maps and new modes,
It is a great FPs that I have enjoyed a lot, it is a pity that the game sold a little, for the next time EA must learn don’t release games so close.

A little background on me: I am a huge FPS fan, and have put hundreds of hours into games like Call of Duty, Battlefield, CSGO, and many more. I did not like the first Titanfall, and My expectations were low with this game, especially for the single-player.

This game blows anything from the past while straight out of the water. The campaign is fun as hell and trying not to spoil anything, BT can be very comical in his perception of the world around him. Multi-player is fresh and new; something that Call of Duty has tried to do for the past three years, and failed. They definitely listened to the criticisms of the first game, of which the were many. The main GM is Attrition, basically TDM. It's fast paced, balls to the walls action. to quotes Rags, "A still pilot is often a dead pilot, and that's something I enjoy. It can be a little overwhelming, but these complaints pale in comparison to the positives.

This game has been completely underappreciated by a market of FPS fans who claim to want innovation and fresh game play, but continue to buy Call of Duty every year. This game was screwed over by EA and it really should have came out in early 2017, when people are looking for a new shooter to blow off the steam of Call of Duty and Battlefield.

My complaints are minor, and most of them are my fault or can be solved by me. First the game will not start on true dual core CPUs. I had to install a separate program to fix this. I know the minimum specs recommend a quad core, but my Pentium G3258 is handling the game just fine, usually between 60-80 FPS in multi-player. This game literally runs better than CSGO on my computer. Second, I am getting a weird crunching sound out of my microphones which makes the game impossible to hear and unplayable if your trying to listen, this doesn't affect me too much as I usually listen to podcasts while playing games. Lastly, I don't know what is causing this but, every other game or so in the lobby I am kicked from multi-player and sent back to the main menu. It's no big deal as all I have to do is rejoin multi-player, which is surprisingly quick.

Overall a bad-ass game, and totally worth your time and money.

The multiplayer is tons of fun, and as you become more familiar with the maps you get a sense of the wallrunning and mobility lanes that you can use to creatively come at your opponents from unpredictable angles.

The gunplay feels solid, the class based Titans give interesting choices and create dynamic fights between titan classes as they have strengths you want to avoid and weaknesses you want to exploit, for example Tone is great against Ronin at range because of it's 40mm autocannon and rocket salvos, and Ronins weapons and core ability are all short-medium range, if the Tone pilot allows Ronin to close the gap, Ronin can output a ton of damage in a short amount of time.

The sendoff of burn cards in favor of boosts is a welcome change, although some boosts seem very strong and some boosts seem very weak. I can see boosts as being a thing that are banned from competitive play because essentially when every player is taking the same boost, it would be the same as no players having boosts, but with more "unfun" moments when a titan instakills you with SMGs using amped weapons.

Overall, Titanfall 2 is a complete package, all DLC, maps and weapons are coming free, the single player, while short, is meaningful and has fun sequences as you and BT fight against all odds. The multiplayer is a blast, and feels like a mixture of Tribes and Mechassault, it's both fast and the gunplay feels tight.

Titanfall 2's AI is intelligent and while playing with grunts on private match they will lock down areas, suppress fire and advanced on enemy positions it feels like a war instead of when in other games AI will just move wherever until they kill something or end up being killed, The AI feel like soldiers and not robots (pun-intended) but enough talking about single-player the multiplayer is where the game really feels it's best. The fast past chaotic multiplayer is fantastic, the added executions for both pilot and titan are also welcome. The cinematic are nice because they set the mood for the stage or show off awesome attacks. Titanfall 2 is a different type of game from the little details such as the way the gun is held without ammo or the way a pilot enters the titan it is one of the best fps games released in recent years and deserves to profit. It feels as if the game was made for the current generation systems because graphics shine beautifully and no frame rate drops occur. Titanfall 2 also dives deeper into it's lore and tries to explain things. My only gripe with this product is sometimes I will experience frequent lag but this is an internet issue or server issue and not a game issue. The free DLC's and balancing of the game makes it a blast to play. I must edit this review because I have experienced constant problems with the servers. I've played the campaign and multiplayer and they are both absolutely excellent. Great feel to the game first and foremost, controls are really good, aiming and manoeuvring around is great. multiplayer is absolutely mega! Sometimes a little sparse in players compared with BF1 but still, solid, 60fps, no lag, much like overwatch in that sense, very tight multiplayer servers it would seem. For a game I'd never heard of before last week, I am blown away, campaign like doom, multiplayer like overwatch, but one game, feels complete... For once! (Both campaign and multiplayer are excellent) a gutsy move releasing this amongst the clash of the Titans- bf1 and cod IW, but it's better than bf1 (although I love that) and can't speak for IW yet, but I'd be surprised if it's anywhere near as good. Outstanding campaign, story wise a bit thin. Great level design. Fun bosses and simply doesn't get repetitive.
Fun new titans and great, fast paced multiplayer. The titans work good and none feel underpowered. Titans feel a bit more fragile in this game but.

The must needed addition of a decent progression system on the multiplayer was a plus, just like the lack of a season pass; you'll find cosmetic microtransactions, but it is acceptable, as all the DLC is supposed to be free.

It brings in platforming and interesting mechanics that you will find missing elsewhere. Obviously if this is not your bag, you may not enjoy quite as much. In that case, bore off to BF1 and COD:IW.

I was unfortunate to not to play Titanfall 1 to see how much progress has been made, being a PS4 only owner. However, from my understanding the multiplayer was great but had a short lifespan due to basic progression and not a lot of variety in load outs.

Well it is safe to say, these criticisms have been squashed with the huge variety and depth in the progression model this time round.

Such a shame the release date was when it was. As two absolute juggernauts of gaming franchises (in regards to commercial success) probably mean this won't be appreciated by as many as it should.

Only criticism is I think it is begging for Competitive / E-Sports mode, I hope this is planned some day.

Easily the best FPS this window, and probably of the year.

The real pioneers of Modern Warfare shine brightest.

The mobility is spot on, the story is actually good, and the multiplayer is the kind of rambunctious action chaos that feels great to be a part of. Sliding around, jumping off of buildings, running on walls and shooting people, and calling in your titan to really f*ck sh*t up. And when your titan gets destroyed, you can eject out, get out your grenade launcher, and let fly at the enemy titan that just destroyed you. Or, land on top of it, steal one of it's batteries, and put it in one of your ally's titans. The game seamlessly transitions between jetpacking around the map shooting guys and throwing grenades to stomping around in a huge robot decimating enemy pilots. And when the action gets to titan-on-titan, get ready for some pulse-pounding action. Even past that, the game still has a great deal of customization and plenty of modes for your playing pleasure. My only gripes are some of the limits in pilot customization where your special ability (L1) determines how you look, and the length of the singe-player campaign. Regardless, this is a fantastic game that I love. Expand

I found the original Titans to be so modular I quickly settled on a "best loadout" for me, Strider with 40mm burst fire, cluster bombs, and particle shield wall. No matter the map this never changed, the other Titan options were wasted on me. With TF2 each Titan seems to have a roll, so I pick my Titan based on map and enemy Titan types. I default to Tone most often I find, likely due to its similarity to my original, but I almost just as often switch things around depending on the match.

The pilots are nicely varied. I find the grapple and phase powers to both be very rewarding to the imaginative pilot, and feel none of the powers are throw away. For guns, I can find at least one in each class I feel intuitive with, and while I'm not a big CoD player I feel the weapon selection is ample (but if you do play BF or CoD you might disagree).

My problems with the game steer more to the game types. Attrition appears to be the only mode I can consistently have fun with. Mixing with Adds while hunting pilots and facing off against Titans is a blast. The different Specters and larger Reapers are a great addition. Most other modes don't offer enough Titan time - they end up being just pilots vs pilots for most of the match. And Last Titan Standing, I went in with a team of 4 friends but somehow we can't win a single game. Legions appear to be biased for this game type. However these are the kinds of things I can see Respawn fixing after some feedback and balancing so it's a minor concern for the short term.

Originally I hated the lack of shields and the addition of batteries in the tech test. It didn't make sense and my Titans would die really quick. But with the full game I find there is a very enjoyable ballet between engaging or surviving, coordinating with other Titans or attacking solo. Playing with a friend often times means teaming up, one in Titan, the other harassing enemy Titans, stealing batteries, and keeping my partner at peak efficiency. It is a much more complicated play style that I expect will keep me from getting board of the more basic strategy of the original for much longer. A few times I try to maximize Titan longevity at the cost of points and find it easy possible to spend the entire match in a single Titan. Sure you won't be on the front lines racking up all the kills but give me a Tone and a map that isn't valley warfare and I can stay pretty safe if that's what I want to do.

I really hope more people pick up a copy by Christmas. It's a really great game that I think will only get better from a larger pool of pilots. And all future maps and DLC included? $60 was a very simple decision for me to make. No regrets!

With that, I went ahead and did a straight swap for Titanfall 2, even though I didn't have high expectations for it. Long story short, I haven't regretted that decision one bit, as TF2 is possibly the best console fps games I've played. The movement, speed, and gun fights remind me a little bit of Quake 3 Arena - which was absolutely frantic and tons of fun (from my PC gaming days and the old mouse and keyboard combo).

If you're still wondering which game to pick up, this'll hit the right spot if you're looking for something fast paced and fun. Highly recommended.

While the campaign is short, it still offers a great gameplay experience, like bosses and puzzles that you wouldn't normally find in a FPS. The game is not perfect and has changed some things for better or worse, but it still retains the fast and incredible smooth gamplay from the first TitanFall.

P.S. I've read some of the negative user reviews, and from what I can see those people only put in the minimum amount time possible (Or have not even played the game). Like I typed earlier it may appear like like another generic shoot, but the movement and combat is alone makes the game fun and full of replay value.

Some maps are a tad on the big side, but they cater well to all forms of engagement with builidings and tighter areas in the middle of the map. I've been running mostly smg classes and they work splendidly.

There is a lot of customization unlike in TF1 with perks, boosts, attachments, camos, player cards etc. More guns would be nice, as there are currently only around 20 for pilots, but maybe they'll be added in later in addition to the free maps and dlc that's coming.

The movement system is smooth and allows you to move faster by chaining slides and wallruns together. BO3 feels clunky in comparison. On top of choosing a number from 1 to 8 for your sensitivity, there are several different response curves you can choose from to tailor your aim and turning abilities.

Overall it's a solid game and is super fun to play. I've been looking for a fast, fluid, and fun shooter. Titanfall 2 looks like it's gonna be it!

The only problem is it's not easy to do, especially when you're in the middle of full-scale interplanetary war. Nonetheless, you get your chance, albeit rather quickly which is kind of a shame .. they could have played out the training/desire factor a bit more, but still tons of fun nonetheless. Throughout the campaign you learn how to become a tier 1 pilot, picking up new and interesting titan loadouts along the way (weapons packages that give you different advantages against bosses). Oh yea, there's bosses. As an older gamer, I miss bosses being the checkpoint between levels. This game's got them and they're definitely challenging. The campaign is about 6 hours of play (didn't time it so forgive me) but by the end you start to love your titan and you save each other form crazy situations. The final scene is one of hope that sets up a likely sequel (YES!). They did an amazing job of playing with emotions and weaving a great story amongst a chaotic universe.

Multiplayer is just tons of fun. There were critics saying you didn't get Titans quick enough during the tech test ... well you get them plenty fast now, so don't listen to that nonsense. Leveling is no quick feat, so prepare to spend some serious time just getting the next best gun. Customization is on point, tons of different ways to play The addition of the pilot tactical (like grapple or sonar knife) make the game tons of fun to play. You can really move around the map just like in the first one, except now you're doing it FASTER.

Get this game ... you really won't regret it.

    - Gunfire carries serious weight, both with their deep booming sound and the visible reactions of enemies in the campaign
    - Weapon selection is wide and diverse
    - Deep multiplayer customization
    - The amount of unlockable perks and skins in multiplayer is jaw dropping, and something new seems to unlock after every match
    - Graphically excellent, with no slow down or noticeable texture pop in
    - Bounty Hunt game mode: kill AI or enemies, store it away when the banks open. This loop is incredible, alternating between massive, open battles to tight, close up skirmishes
    - Controlling titans, in either campaign or multiplayer, feels incredible and powerful
    - Balancing is perfect in multiplayer, with no titan feeling overpowered, and with pilots feeling as though they have a chance to do real damage against enemy titans if they are good enough
    - Devs are adding new maps and game modes for free, not locked away behind a pay wall
    - Only microtransactions are for skins; no pay-to-win mechanics

    Cons:
    - Story is disjointed in the campaign
    - Limited options for connectivity in multiplayer - I want to be able to randomly join between just the game modes I like, not all or one

    Mixed:
    - The multiplayer maps are very hit or miss, and I think that everyone playing this will have their own personal opinions
    - The game modes are also hit or miss, but again I think this will come down to personal opinion
    - Depending on the time of day, connection times can vary from just seconds to almost a full minute
    - The game brings you back to the multiplayer menu after each multiplayer match. This is good in that it allows to check out your newly unlocked goodies, but it really breaks up the action in an undesireable way

For years I have avoided big budget triple A shooter's like they were infectious. Titanfall 2 was the first game to pique my interest, and now I think I may be in love. The campaign was the most balls-to-the-wall fun I'd had in a long time, and I still can't put down the multiplayer, 20 hours in. A must buy for all PS4 owners looking for a top of the line FPS

Having given up on the COD franchise since it lost its way after BO2 and since I didn't really get overly excited in playing BF1 I thought I would take a punt. I'm so glad I did ! This game is great, it is imo the best shooter currently available on console it's refreshing change to play this over the cardboard clone shooters that keep coming up these last few years.
I don't do reviews but decided to do one for this game since its a gem of a game & not getting the kudo's it so easily deserves.
It knocked out Battlefield and Call of Duty for the best shooter this christmas.
What it lacks it makes up for in share fun jumping into a Titan and stomping around burning metal glorious game !

The added single player story is a great addition. While it isn't a mind-blowing experience it is actually fun to play through and does the job well of introducing some lore into the game, that many feel was much needed. I've actually been reading up on the lore because of it - something I never thought I'd do!

Multiplayer is very fun, face paced and has that 'just one more round' feel to it. Even though is 4am and you have work ion 2 hours you just want to keep going!

I'm looking forward to future updates and hopefully some more story to go with it. Definitely worth a try if you are into FPS games

Pros- Online, fun, unique concept, lots of mobility, good graphics
Cons- Lack of offline content, lack of maps, minor balancing issues.

Titanfall 2- one of the best fps (first person shooter) I’ve played in a long time. It has everything a good game should have, a campaign, multiplayer, and something unique to make it stand out from the rest of the games out there. Another important quality I want from a game is good graphics, and this game meets my expectations. This game is also available to most players since it’s on PS4, Xbox one, and PC. I received this game about a month after it was released,( Released on October 28th, 2016) and I have personally put a little over 36 hours into it over the past four months, is generally new, and cost around 60 dollars.

The content I’m always excited for is normally a good campaign, which this game beholds to me in a way that makes me feel actively engaged into the game and it’s story, and by far, this is the only game that has made me feel emotionally attached to a giant war robot/ titan, by the name of BT-7274. The campaign has a pretty generic protagonist, Jack Cooper, a rank three rifle man, who takes over his majors titan, BT-7274, after he’s killed in combat fighting against the IMC (the main antagonists), and your character, Jack Cooper, has had minimal training, he plays a large role in turning the war into the militia's favor, and the militia is the side of the war that you are fighting for. Pilots, are the soldiers who own their own titan, and after Cooper’s commander dies, he gives all of the titan’s controls over to him, making him a certified pilot. Throughout the rest of the game’s campaign, you finish the mission that was meant for major Anderson, who was your commanding officer. On your way through the game, you fight many other factions, for example the Apex Predators, who are mercenaries who don’t care for what's right, just for what pays well, and there are other factions as well. In my opinion the campaign was ok, not the best ever, but did a good job of getting the idea of titans through, and had me attached to the protagonist’s titan. BT-7274, and in the campaign BT slowly gets to know Cooper, and at least has a good sense of humor.

The multiplayer is what I play most in the game, and has a very addictive nature that i’ve become attached too. The reason this game’s multiplayer can separate itself from other futuristic shooters is that the titans make the multiplayer completely different than anything else I’ve played. What I like about the titans, and the feeling you get when you get enough points from eliminating other pilots and playing the objective to gain points to use your titan, and when you finally get in from the sky, it gives you a sense of sudden power, at least for me anyway. Though, you must be careful not to get your titan destroyed, since it is an online multiplayer there has to be balancing so the titans aren’t completely indestructible. The titans make the game unique, but the multiplayer itself is very addictive. There are a large variety of weapons and 7 unique pilot classes to suit your gaming style.

Something that changes the game completely is the mobility the player has, having the potential to jump on roof tops and off of walls just makes the game so much fun. The action of traveling on walls and roof tops runs smoothly, but glitches out every once in awhile. On the negative however, I feel that some weapons over power others, Whether one has better accuracy or damage or whatever it may be.Other than a few general balancing problems the game is perfect to me and a favorite at that. However, another positive that I like is the customization, where you can change the look of your character however you like, and you can earn character skins through completing task in the game. Last, but not least, the graphics are great. The graphics without a doubt are fabulous and run smoothly. Some games can’t handle having good graphics, depending upon the system it’s played on, but the PS4 does a good job at running the game and it’s graphics smoothly.

One thing that disappoints me the most is the lack of offline content. The campaign is great, but I feel like the game needs more, maybe some split screen content would’ve been excellent but it’s just not there, which is the problem. Another negative I have is that there should be more maps. Right now, there is a good amount of maps, but I like much variety in a game, and all i’d change are a few additional maps so I wouldn’t be consistently playing on the same maps, which is a common issue I have. The only thing that I think this game needs to make it absolutely perfect is some split screen, bonus single player content, a few additional maps and gamemodes, then it'd be the best game I've ever played.

Hear this: Titanfall 2 was the best release of 2016. Titanfall 2 got both a solid campaign with a story worth playing through, with some of the most awesome environments or levels I've ever played, with a truly memorable partner. The online experience is a fast-paced experience with perfect controls and the added dimension of mech-play. The level of control customisation is really impressive for a console-shooter, and the game feels absolutely fantastic to play, both online and campaign-wise. It's some of the best online action I've ever played, including early Quake-memories, epic Battlefield-moments and great game-evenings with the clan in Destiny's Crucible.

Titanfall 2 is a sad, sad story of how so many players never even gave it a chance. Because it's simply that good. You're obligated to pick up and experience Titanfall 2 in its glory, if you're into shooters. This is the best shooter around now.

The campaign is told differently than other video games campaigns because it tells a proper story with moments that have a proper narrative, exploration, and time for contemplation. Unlike Call of Duty’s campaigns, this campaign is well paced and is not just fight after fight because it also incorporates missions and scenes that require the player to not just use their shooting abilities, but to also use their brain to solve complex puzzles. For example, there is a level where you obtain a time changing device where you can phase from a certain time in the past to the present, and you have to use this ability to get through a building that holds obstacles such as fires and lasers. Also, in this level, you a shifting through the past and present while living through the memories of a pilot that was on a previous mission. This is an interesting way for Titanfall 2 to execute this mission because it has the player be in the past and not just explore it. Other games would just have you walk around the building and find audio logs of the past. The soundtrack of the game is spectacular too, and it adds to the gamer’s experience by giving them a feeling or connection to the setting of the game. In a dark ominous cave, soft and slow music with a bit of violin on high notes adds an extra mood for the player that can make them feel worried or uneasy. Or during an epic battle, there is fast music playing with a drum beat that makes the player feel pumped or excited. The two main characters in the game have charismatic personalities that create a connection between them and the player. Jack Cooper, the character you are playing, has dialogue that you control with his titan BT. This dialogue triggers different responses or questions in the game that can often make you laugh. Titanfall 2 also offers a large amount of content with a campaign that takes the average player a week to finish. Also, the players are given 11 new planets to explore and 52 guns with more content still to come. Respawn Entertainment has created successes in the past such as the original Titanfall, Call of Duty, and Star Wars Games, and they did not disappoint us with Titanfall 2. Expand

In some cases this is a good thing, however in other aspects it is a downside in my personal opinion... The rodeo system has been highly automated, In the previous game the amount of damage you could deal to the enemy titan varies based on what weapon you have and how long you choose to risk staying on the enemy titan while being a bit of a sitting duck to the enemy team... In the new game however the time necessary for the rodeo animation to finish and the amount of damage dealt are fixed now and the player doesn't have to do anything during the animation (except jump off when the enemy titan uses it's electric smoke countermeasure.) Additionally titan customisation is much more rigid than the previous game. I can understand why this decision was made, however I would have preferred to have the flexibility of the previous games titan customisation... That aside I really enjoy the game. Their business model is very upfront unlike other AAA titans. You want certain paint jobs? No loot-boxes. Just buy the pack you want. Wanna see what each one looks like? Guess what. They have an in-store preview so you can see what it looks like on the Titan that you used last. No random micro-transaction nonsense or anything like that. Easily one of the best FPS games of the current generation. I suck at the game, but I love it anyway. Unfortunately though EA released this game in the same week as Battlefield 1 and Infinite Warfare, meaning it went unnoticed to many players on launch. Hopefully EA don't push their shady business model on Re-spawn entertainment for Titan-fall 3... This is basically the only franchise from EA that I have any interest in anymore... $35 for the Ultimate edition on the PS4 is a steal imo. Но даже за это время успеваешь привязаться к персонажам. Но честно сказать, будь в этой игре хотя бы ещё одна миссия в компании, я бы плакал на концовке. Так что лишь за это -1 балл. At the moment this is the best fps on the market hands down. Fast, fun and spectacular. I dont get why people still play black ops 3 instead of this. I'll admit i used to play bo 3 before but, to be frank, this is so much better. Even the campaign is exellent, maybe the best fps canpaign from MW2. Even tough Blck ops 4 still have a better campaign. Wait...

Far from the footnote it could have been, Titanfall 2 is a huge, headline shock. In a standout year for the shooter, this interstellar adventure dares to go big and beyond the familiar. What it finds out on the frontier is worth seeing. [January 2016, p74]

The core Titanfall moveset is a joy, and it has been thoughtfully expanded with a delightful grappling hook. [Jan 2017, p.112]
