Apr 10, 2018Aside from Diablo itself, the clones of the genre have largely slid right back into mediocrity, and I have to hope that a new Titan Quest could be the shot in the arm that can revitalise the interest that genre fans have in it, outside of Diablo.

Mar 27, 2018While I started out frustrated, every hour I invested in Titan Quest paid off in full. The joy of watching your ordinary hero turn into a remorseless murder machine, hemorrhaging elemental power in every direction, can’t be overstated.

Apr 9, 2018This new release -- cosmetically better but lacking the overhaul that would really help the game stand up to current titles -- doesn't go far enough. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a cynical cash-grab, but I am disappointed that it not only fails to make the original Titan Quest experience much better, it adds some additional flaws and strips away some of the potential for enjoyment.

Apr 9, 2018Titan Quest was a reference of action-RPG. And currently it remains. But the passage of time and a poor adaptation weigh down the experience of this adaptation.
-
Mar 24, 2018Titan Quest hasn't aged very well. It can be appealing if you really, really love the genre, but that's pretty much it.
-
Mar 17, 2018A perfectly average dungeon crawler with hours of gameplay to offer, Titan Quest's flaws are too numerous to properly recommend it above and beyond its genre counterparts.
-
Mar 24, 2018Α lazy port of an already poorly envisioned Diablo contender even back in 2006. Titan Quest 2018 does a poor job in the fields of level design, interesting gameplay and overall challenge. The controller response on this console version is a total mystery and the sinuous U.I. leaves little hope for a smooth experience.
-
Mar 18, 2018If you really want to have it on the console (maybe on Switch, to always carry it with you), wait for a price drop.
-
Mar 16, 2018High price, low quality: two of the worst things to have in a single remastered game.
-
Mar 16, 2018Titan Quest was better remembered as a decent hack'n'slash on PC than a mediocre Diablo clone on consoles: this version is clearly rushed out and it doesn't do any justice to a title that's been fun and engaging for the last twelve years.
-
Mar 21, 2018Let's be brutally honest: this new edition of Titan Quest is simply terrible. Technically it's a disaster, with a constant flow of bugs and glitches that seriously undermine the game experience (there are still references to the keyboards commands). It's too bad, because the original game was a great hack 'n slash.
-
Mar 30, 2018A game that attempts to sneak into an era that has long passed it by. While a minimal amount of enjoyment can be had listening to the wayfarers and tradesmen across the many worlds that the hero visits, there are too many problems that stem from the game’s now ancient design.
-
Apr 9, 2018The original was a perfectly good game and this remastered version doesn't bring anything new to the table. Neither does it improve the original in any way, shape or form. The technical issues combined with the repetitive gameplay dull the experience. Other issues we encountered were faulty controls and a less than optimal user interface. In the future, all of our gripes might be solved by some major updates but as it stands this game is a mess.
-
Mar 16, 2018Titan Quest is a lazy port of a glorious PC action RPG. The genre is respected and executed efficiently but the game is immersed in poor interface design and tons of bugs and glitches.
