Feb 28, 2014If you take a look at Killzone for PS4 rating, it got more than Thief. I mean - what were you thinking people? If dumb idea-free action is better than balanced tactical game, from the metacritic "critics" point of view, I sincerely don't know what to say.

Aug 6, 2014It's easy on the eyes, but I found it quite dull. It also doesn't really do a very good job of explaining what is going on either. Better stealth games are out there I would say.

Dec 22, 2014Its fun at the beggining but half way through you see its all the same all the time. no challenge because you can just run away. The boss fights are the most idiotic ideas anyone had for a game. its a stealth game with boss battles. Worst boss battles ever in a game. Youre better off renting it for a couple of days than buying it. DO NOT BUY IT YOU WILL REGRET IT!

Dec 18, 2014If im honest I'm really confused by so many positive reviews! The game glitches, the voice acting is poor, the storyline is beige and I found the game in general to be dull and inconsistent. The problem is that Dishonoured came first and despite being on an older console - there is no question about which I'd prefur to play.

Mar 5, 2014Good controls and solid visuals can not save this game from being painfully mediocre. If you enjoy running around and tapping one button to pick things up, then this is the game for you. You will not be able to wait until you can put the controller down to play something else.

Dec 19, 2014Awkward mechanics, on rails for most of the game, strange tutorial for my first Thief game. By the time the tutorial was done I was convinced I hated the game.

Mar 12, 2014Thief is slow, repetitive and boring. The graphics are good but the gameplay sucks. Overall the voice acting is bad too. Don't buy it and save your money for Titanfall.

Feb 28, 2014- poor level design
- poor AI
- cliché story
- dubstep (I **** you not)
This game is a mockery of its predecessors.
This game is only "Thief" in name.
Do not buy it. -

Jan 15, 2016It's like the designers of the game don't want you to find quest waypoints and other markets. there is no **** clue how to get anywhere and maps are locked in themselves. It's stupid and frustrating. The lock combination on the big safe was also a horrible design choice. It's obvious creators of this game have no taste, or they flat out didn't care.

Mar 26, 2014The biggest problem for this game is every stealth game that has come since Thief: the Dark Project. Thief can’t match the visual flair and supernatural powers of Dishonored. It doesn’t have the lean efficiency and murderous creativity of the Hitman series; it trails the razor’s edge stealth and gadget lust of Splinter Cell; it lacks the vision and bombast of the Metal Gear series. Hell, it doesn’t even have a very good thief.

Mar 21, 2014The return of the master thief Garrett is a mixed bag. Thief builds on its series proud heritage of tactile stealth, focusing on realism but loses some of the way to modern design trends. Thief has some unnecessary padding that smooth out the gameplay as well as some cinematic ambitions that do not reach all the way. Above all, it is plagued by qualitative valleys that appear to be a result of a stressed launch. Nevertheless, Thief gets a weak recommendation because the basic formula is still fun and somewhat unique.
