    The Walking Dead: A New Frontier may not always bring fresh ideas to the table, but what it does bring contains a lot of heart and charm. The cast is incredibly diverse, giving the spotlight to a Latino-centric cast but containing characters from different backgrounds and walks of life. Although some characters are inconsistently written, they all manage to be compelling enough that together, they create some of the most interesting moments without needing the help of Clementine. Clementine herself has established in A New Frontier that she is more than worthy of being one of gaming's most beloved female characters, displaying a growth and complexity that few female characters in the past have been allowed to have. With the series finale releasing next year, I hope Telltale Games pushes the boundaries of what she and the series itself can do and be.

    The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has a good opening and it introduces a new protagonist in a cool way. Unfortunately the story keeps getting worse, the characters more irritating and the grand finale is an utter disappointment. This series needs a dramatic overhaul - here you'll find only a handful of memorable moments and lots of mediocrity.

    The Walking Dead’s third season finale does what it has to do to tick all the expected boxes, and while not as high as the series has been, it’s still more than solid.

    Short 60 minute episodes (and the awful story makes it even worse), Clementine is playable for 5 minutes per ep, false advertisting pre-release, this is Javier's story for whatever **** reason even though we never asked for this and just wanted a GOOD continuation of Clementine's story (but this is an ABYSMAL continuation - this shouldn't even be called S3), The story is awful, and Clem is just a side character shoe-horned in when she was pretty much the main character for the previous two seasons. This isn't Clem's story, this is Javier's story - so this shouldn't even have Clem in it if Telltale wants to tell Javier's story so badly because she's just shoe-horned in and a side character. All the false advertising pre-release doesn't help either. Her being in every bloody advertisement also doesn't help. We played as Clementine in Season 2 and shaped our Clementine, and now Clementine is a supporting character again plus her personality doesn't change at all depending on your choices last season. Easy choices and deaths don't affect you because there is not enough character development and the game just pushes you forwards without any chance to talk to characters like in Season 1 (and even S2). In many ways, this series is actually a step forward, especially in terms of graphics, but without compelling characters, all the technical achievements mean absolutely nothing. I tried to get him (Javier) killed every chance I got, but to no avail, he has to survive, which is the biggest disappointments of them all. Whoever wrote this "character" should stay away from Word and Keyboard to the rest of their sorry, uneventful lives.… Full Review »

The illusion of choice might as well be a window into TellTales gruesome sausage factory at this point. Rarely did I ever feel the impact of my decisions were... well, impactful. Especially when it's so easy to discern how the opposite decision will lead to the same conclusion... Can't wait for TWAU2… Full Review »
