This is a game that offers such poignant and relevant social commentary, and after many years of being either PC-exclusive, or released in a very watered down fashion on game consoles, it’s great to see that this great experiment in giving us the tools to play around with humanity is finally on console in a full and unabridged way.

The Sims 4 on both PS4 and Xbox One is a welcome addition for the series, allowing players that might not have the PC capabilities to enjoy a beloved series. It maintains its level of quality from PC, but still needs some work in various technical areas, seeing as the mouse/camera isn’t the best and the game will consistently hitch, especially with longer play sessions. Everything that makes for a great Sims game is in The Sims 4, and with updated creation options and attention to detail unmatched by other games in the series, The Sims 4 is worth it, giving a freedom of play most games just don’t offer. It’s unfortunate that EA didn’t bring mods over from the PC community, especially with other big games doing this, but maybe later down the line they’ll follow suit. Not to worry, though, plenty of extra content will be available at launch, with four expansion and item packs coming out alongside The Sims 4 at launch, making sure to give much of the available content to console players right away.

The Sims 4 is a game that rewards players the more time they spend with it. The heavier emphasis on the emotional state of each Sim adds a lot of variety to even regular household chores.

The Sims 4 comes to consoles with the best of the version released for PC in 2014. It does not offer any free content besides the Happy Holidays package , but this can be complemented with the best of the catalog of packs and expansions from the day the game goes on sale. If you have not played the game yet, here's your chance.

If you only own a console, however, and you want to experience this great series for the first time, then The Sims 4 certainly will give you lots of enjoyment, despite the annoying aspects.

The Sims 4 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is the most comprehensive console chapter in the franchise but it hasn't appeal to those who have already experienced the game on PC. We feel strongly there is an absence of a section devoted to the community.

The Sims 4 comes on home consoles with all the goods and all the drawbacks of the PC version.

The interface is simply unusable - there is no way you can get used to it or understand the logic behind it. The interface is so bad it has s button dedicated to show you the controls, and that option is always highlighted on the screen. And the problem lies beyond the control scheme. The interface itself is a poorly made job - it's no match compared to UI in SIMS 1,2 and 3. There's no art involved, no design. It's so bad it actually feels like an insult to the player. And the fact that the game has been cut into a million of stupid DLCs doesn't help. Say, that DLC that adds "super cool animals hats" - who the hell needs them? Yeah, so when you launch this game it offers you more DLCs and the interface is designed in a way that confuses you so you press the button you don't want to buy a DLC you don't need for a game that doesn't care if it's playable or not. This is lame. I strongly recommend to keep away from Sims 4 for Playstation 4. Full Review »

Don´t have to say much here. EA just EA the mark that shows you should not buy or play this money grab of a game.
