Nov 21, 2017An interesting chapter.
-
Nov 23, 2017The Sims 4 is the latest and best in the long running franchise and there's absolutely nothing else like it on the market for PlayStation 4. It's the most faithful recreation of the drudgery of daily life on the market, but it's also marred by a bewildering array of control quirks, annoying bugs, and overnumerous menus. If you're prepared to persevere with the more clumsily implemented aspects of the game then there's a lot to love - and there's a ridiculous amount of content - but some will likely be put off by its often obtuse nature.
-
Nov 21, 2017The Sims 4 essentially is a good game, even on consoles. Especially the fact that later additions to the PC version are already included on consoles, is amazing. But in the end most simulation games are best played with keyboard and mouse.
-
Nov 21, 2017The Sims is a good console game, for the ones who have never touched the PC version, because is basically the same product, with worse controls.
-
Nov 17, 2017PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Sims 4 are nice translations of the PC game, but poorly implemented controls make the game far worse than the original.
-
Nov 13, 2017EA has managed to successfully adapt the UI to the PS4 controller, and even if sometimes it isn't as intuitive as it should, it's quite accessible. The Sims experience remains, but if you can choose a version, keep in mind this one is three years behind content-wise.
-
Nov 9, 2017The Sims 4 is a beefier and better game with its diverse expansion packs and added content since release, but without much of that being available on console just yet, this feels like a step back from the PC version. Nonetheless, this is essentially the same core experience as the base game on PC, and it’s worth checking out if you don’t already own the game. Although the console version features some dodgy controls, it largely delivers on its promise of bringing a faithful port to the console audience.
-
Nov 9, 2017Despite me thinking that the port doesn’t live up to its PC counterpart, I cannot recommend it enough if you’ve yet to experience the latest entry in the iconic series.
-
Nov 9, 2017The possibilities when it comes to edition that a game like The Sims 4 offers are really interesting, although it is obviously easier to handle and more comfortable to play in PC. After three years in the shelves, EA could have launched the game with some more content. However, those who already know the franchise know what it offers and this iteration of the game may appeal only to those who weren't able to play the PC version.
-
Nov 28, 2017A decent port, that nevertheless suffers from a number of technical issues, chief among which a number of framedrops, long loading times and a cursor that doesn't exactly work as intuitively as it should.
-
Nov 21, 2017The Sims 4 on consoles feels pretty logical in its controls, but it is simply not as comfortable as the PC version with its keyboard and mouse. We miss that classic The Sims feel.
-
Nov 11, 2017A 1:1 conversion of the PC game that suffers problems with the control, camera and that arrives without the possibility of adding content created by users.
-
Playstation Official Magazine UKFeb 6, 2018On its own merit, The Sims 4 is enjoyable enough, particularly with its rich customization. Compared to its predecessor, though, it's a life simulator that...well, lacks life. [Jan 2017, p.86]
-
Nov 30, 2017As a whole, The Sims 4 can be a great game to lay on your couch and sink hours into, but many things hold it back from being the great game that is is on PC. From bugs and technical problems, to a horrible control scheme, there is a great game buried beneath problems.
-
Nov 20, 2017The Sims 4 is a very enjoyable game which will give you a lot of tools to be creative in creating your own Sims and their lives. The game gives exactly the same experience as the PC version, though the controls are terrible. You'll hate your controller for it.
-
Nov 20, 2017The Sims 4 on console includes all the free feature updates from the PC version, and while they are good new additions that should have been included with The Sims 4 to begin with, they don’t make up for the performance issues. Most of the problems are minor annoyances, but because save and menu bugs have been so frequent, this version of The Sims 4 is a generally unreliable experience, which is unfortunate since it is a genuinely fun game. And while it is disappointing that the console version is missing some community features from the PC version, I’m glad that at least cheats work.
-
Nov 21, 2017It’s got toddlers, swimming pools, and all the recent updates, but what this otherwise promising console port lacks is a sensible control scheme.

Dec 29, 2017Don´t have to say much here. EA just EA the mark that shows you should not buy or play this money grab of a game.
