Apr 24, 2020The Room works just as well in VR as outside, with the same somber mood, cleverly detailed environments and expertly crafted puzzles. It does however lose some of its flair by being too safe, having a handful of obnoxious puzzles and generally being way too lacking in content

Apr 10, 2020The Room VR: A Dark Matter does a great job of making its interactive puzzle boxes more than just hunting for the right knob, often leaning into what VR does best by putting you into cool situations that are shown off in flashy and polished fashion. Unfortunately, there’s just not a lot of it here, and its intricate detail can occasionally cause confusion as you flail at the mostly inert world around you. Still, its two hours of puzzles were certainly worth solving.

Apr 19, 2020The Room VR is the new entry in the veteran series, a puzzle game that shines in VR with a collection of surprising puzzles with some impressive situations, that in the end feels very, very short (a couple of hours, little more if you get stuck) that feels even worse given its actual price...

Mar 26, 2020The result is a rather confused adventure, where the player is easily lost between two puzzles. The whole thing is not helped by a script and an uninteresting universe. However, some good game design ideas, like the possibility of entering inside certain mechanisms, hit the mark. And the diversity of the puzzles is to be welcomed. A Dark Matter is thus a pleasant title despite its flaws. But far from being a must in VR.

Dec 17, 2020Excellent. One of the best VR experiences I’ve had. If you own an oculus quest 2 this is a must buy.
