    I liked the game a whole lot. I played both one after the other. Yes, I have always been against enforcing LGBT on media, but I don't think a character being a lesbian should destroy the game. I really don't get the hate. Looks like most of the people are just angry at it because they had to. I had friends telling me it's garbage even though they've never played it.

    Un juego con mucho trabajo detrás, muy bien elaborado y con una historia que no te esperas y que en ciertos puntos puede llegar a ser tediosa pero que considero buena al finalizar el juego y verlo en su conjunto y continuando el primer juego. Jugabilidad muy buena y que incluye diferentes dificultades dependiendo del estilo del jugador.     J'ai du attendre plusieurs semaine avant de pouvoir donner mon avis tant ce jeux m'a marqué.. Honnêtement et je pèse mes mots, c'est la meilleurs expérience vidéoludique de ma vie !
    Une suite parfaite !!! Jamais un jeux m'as autant fais réagir manette en mains.. Je suis passer par toute les émotion.. J'ai était bouleversé.. ébahi.. Trahie.. Révolté.. Émerveillé.. J'en passe..
    Il dépasse le 1er opus sur tout les points, les graphisme son incroyablement détaillé !
    Le scénario est une puissance incroyable !
    Il m'a fais remettre en question sur mes propre principes.. On ce rend compte à quelle point certain sentiments peut nous amener à faire des choix lourd de conséquence..
    La bande son est toujours aussi magistral.
    J'ai pus découvrir un personnage qui au début, était pour moi insupportable du a ces actes.. Et puis avec le temps.. On fini par la comprendre et fini par l'apprécier..
    Ce jeux m'aura donc laisser des trace indélébile.. Une fois fini je suis rester plusieurs minutes devant ma télé.. Toujours pas remis du chef d'œuvre que je venait de finir. Après avoir fini The Last Of Us premier du non on ne pouvait ce douté des conséquence du choix de Joëlle qui seront terrible.
    Ellie est transformé.. Je me demande bien l'avenir qu'elle pourra avoir après avoir vécu cela.. j'espère avoir un troisième opus pour conclure ce chef-d'œuvre qu'est The Last of Us!

    Lastimável, essa é a palavra, um game que criou uma legião de fãs com a obra prima que foi o primeiro, decair tanto com essa sequencia.

    Graficamente a game é lindo (talvez o mais bonito do PS4), a física do game é disparado a mais avançada dos games que já vi (trabalho impecável), mas só.
    O ponto forte da franquia é a história e é nela que o game é um caos, lastimável!

    Great cast, fantastic voice acting and character animations, 2 of the introduced female characters are now some of my all time favourite video game characters and really made the game for me

    Loved having so many options of attack or stealth paths. Great balance of action and quiet looting / conversations with companions or talking to yourself.     Time is played with a bit as there are a lot of flashbacks but it works really well to bring it all together

    This game has the best difficulty options I have ever experienced. There's something there for everyone from people there for story and loads of ammo lying around to people who love an intense challenge. A whole lot of customisation options to tailor the game how you like it

    I kept waiting for the bit where we are all supposed to get mad at the game but I just finished it and that never happened for me so maybe i missed something

    The last of us 2 es un videojuego "sobresaliente", sin llegar a ser la "obra maestra", que si fue el primero. Mejora absolutamente en todo a su antecesor, en lo que viene siendo el apartado técnico y jugable, pero, se queda un poco más corto en cuanto a historia e narrativa.
    Un titulo muy divertido, de lo mejor del 2020.

    When the game isn't boring (not that much), the combat is really fun and satisfying. But overall this improves upon nothing, has a worse story and slightly less boring and shallow game. Not saying it isn't shallow.

Just the feeling of how everything all along the game didn’t matter, it was all for nothing. Despite that, I have to remember all the incredible fun I had with this game.     Gameplay is not perfect, as a person who has played so many stealth games, this game's stealth does not stand out. The gameplay looks good, there are no bugs and the controls are nice, that's about it.
    The stealth in this game is basic as hell and the fact that people are giving this a 10/10 gameplay is just hilarious to me.     The stealth in this game is basic as hell and the fact that people are giving this a 10/10 gameplay is just hilarious to me. For a 25-30 hour game, the gameplay is not deep enough to supply you with that much entertainment for so long. The amount of choices you have to kill enemy groups are definitely not limited but again is not enough to entertain you for so long. The lack of puzzles is really daunting, other than doing the decent stealth, all you do is walk around this beautiful world and spam triangle mindlessly to loot stuff, that's it. There is no puzzles to enhanced the game's repetition and the combat from the first 4 hours till the last 2 hours is almost unrecognizable other than the new guns that does not change the gameplay loop at all. If this game was a tight 16-18 hour long game I would excuse a lot of these issues but it is not, the game felt repetitive and a straight up drag to play.
    The only problem I have with the story is that instead of making the story entirely around the characters, they made he story entirely around the message it was trying to tell. You can find characters doing borderline out of character or even stupid things just for the sake of the plot and the message is pretty elementary level.
    Other than that, still a pretty good game and I recommend it on sale    … Expand

Naughty Dog, you're better than this. Killing a main character is fine. If done properly. It needs to build the tension of the plot and give the others something to do.     This game is depressing and I love it. Some minor issues. But not enough for me to dislike the game in anyway. I understand that half of the player base doesn't like the story, but I also don't really care. I loved the story. I got the game that I wanted. I'm playing it for the 3rd time right now.

    I wasn’t expecting a sequel, but what a sequel! Big improvements in overall, level of quality is still the same greatness too. The narrative is well balanced and with a nice depth. Over 110 hours, so, not only the history is so well made, but also is the gameplay.
    10/10. Noting to complain.

    After loving this game at first and fully defending it.. looking back I felt so gross when it ended, and have not replayed even though the combat is phenomenal. I was able to replay the first one so many times due to the gameplay AND story. This story just makes you feel gross.. like watching Requiem for a Dream.. but worse cause the story isn't as good.

    The original is in my opinion 1 of the most expertly crafted video games in the history of PlayStation.
    Knowing the developer of this game has been really consistent in making really good games for 20 years...
    So i went into this with a mindset of "it is probably going to be really good like always, but the original is an almost unmatchable masterpiece even for naughty dog." And that's    The original is in my opinion 1 of the most expertly crafted video games in the history of PlayStation.

    And that's pretty much where i ended up placing this game, its really good, but its not quite the 10/10 masterpiece the original was.

    The graphics are some of the best the PS4 has to offer and match those achieved by for example uncharted 4 and god of war. With 0 lag to go along with it.
    The animations are some of the best i have ever seen, so smooth and natural, can not imagine them being better.
    Pacing felt to me as spot on, plenty of variety in gameplay and scenery.
    Level design is as always with naughty dog, masterful. there all amazingly crafted believable and natural yet smooth to play trough, a true treat to play trough.
    Gameplay has been refined pretty strongly, and feels to me as straight up better than the original.
    They seem to have implemented some things they learned from both the original and there uncharted series, and used that experience very well to improve upon the already really good gameplay seen in the original.
    The music is done by the same guy from the original, and matches the original score in ambience and emotional weight. very fitting to them game, wouldn't have picked anyone else.
    The in-game menu's however, felt to me as a downgrade however, i found the on-the-go crafting menu in the original to feel smoother and more logical to navigate trough.

    Now the story... i really liked it, its a really interesting story that takes a lot of sharp bold turns, and does not agitate to do things differently than sequels to really highly regarded originals normally do.
    And that makes for some serious WTF moments, and very hard to swallow events.
    But nothing i could not see as a realistic thing to happen, or unrealistic decision to make.
    Its an emotional rollercoaster that forces you to see things in multiple perspectives in a bold way, and i really liked that.
    Be warned however, this is a dark, dark, story!
    The original's motto was 'if lost in the darkness look for the light', that does not apply to this game and this story any-more, this is a dark and depressing story about death, sorrow, suffering, revenge & forgiveness.
    Not about finding the happiness and beauty in a seemingly devastated world.
    So if you where looking for a light hearted, zombie killing game with a story with lots of happy moods, where you agreeing or getting to choose on how how things go is important... Your looking at the wrong game.

    Honestly, i have trouble really FULLY getting why so many people SO STRONGLY hated this game.
    I feel like i played a different game then them almost.
    I think some people unconsciously had unrealistic expectations. (the game is either as good as the original or sucks)
    Some just had very different expectations as to what the story would would be about, and just couldn't bring themselves to get over the fact that the creators had a different idea than them about things.
    Some allowed the "scandals" around the marketing and release of the game to spoil the game itself.

    All things i can kind of see, if i really force myself to look for them.
    But i just cant understand how people can be in any of the listed situations and say "this game is bad."
    That a game isn't what you expected it to be, does not make it bad!
    That a game isn't a 10/10 masterpiece like its original, does not disqualify it for existing!
    A game does not need to 100% stay true to what you interpreted from a trailer from multiple years before release. People change their minds even game developers, people interpret things wrongly...
    The game itself isn't bad, just because sketchy things are rumoured to have happened around the release.
    A game isn't bad because it contains stuff you politically don't agree with.

    id say, keep, in mind the original is an almost unmatchable masterpiece & this is a very dark game.
    And you will really enjoy it! Highly recommended if you are looking for a dark story driven game, with very smooth and enjoyable gameplay with beautiful graphics in an expertly crafted word.    … Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. 24 hours after beating the game, I'm still very confused about my thoughts on the game. First of all, we can't discuss graphics (probably the best on console right now) nor the gameplay (similar to the first game but improved in many ways). Regarding the story: while in the first game we can only love our two protagonists and their relationship, in Part II we need to see the reality and understand that there are consequences to Joel's actions. I'm no trying to defend Abby but we need to understand that Ellie and Abby are two sides of the same coin. I don't think it's true that Abby is a psychopatic killer while Ellie is justified. What if we played the first game from Abby's perspective? No one is right in the world of TLOU, it's all a matter of different point of views. Probably the biggest problem is that we are forced to play 10/12 hours with Abby: I understand that they wanted to compare Abby's redemption with Joel's in the first game, however it may have been dragged a little too much and giving us more of her backstory could have worked out better.
    I did not mind the way Ellie is portrayed in Part II: people need to realize that she is not the innocent 14y/o kid that she was in Part I, she has grown, she has felt betrayed by the only person that never abandoned her, she feels like her life does not make sense anymore.
    Joel had it coming unfortunately, I don't think his death felt very forced, he's human, he lived 4 years in a relatively quiet place, he may have become a softer person but it may have helped if they showed us that Joel has become more open to strangers.
    Lots of negative comments are just due to the s**t storm bandwagon that the internet is, some just can't accept that stories may go the way we do not want to. Afterall, do our lives go always the way we want?
    Regarding the ending: Ellie remembers a conversation with Joel about forgiveness and let Abby go. Does it mean that she forgives Abby? I don't know, I actually think that she is just tired of all that violence, she already became what Joel was before meeting her while Abby became what Joel was AFTER meeting Ellie. She is able to let go her obsession unlike Abby did, proving that she is still a caring and better person. We may or may not like or agree with the ending, I'm personally still undecided about it. Ellie has now lost every connection to her past because of her obsession for revenge just like Abby lost her new “family” because of Ellie. However Abby has now a new person to care about, we do not know if Ellie will find someone, if she will come back to DIna, or she will travel alone.

    Could Part II have been better? Yes. Is it better than the first game? The first TLOU will always have a special place in my heart, Part II is a different story that works on a different level and if handled differently it could have worked for the majority. However that doesn't mean the story is bad. Give it a try, it is worth it

For anyone rating the game so lowely because of this TLOU2 is simply lost on you. This game is simply put a revenge driven and gut wrenching story. It is ugly it is raw and emotionally charged and unfortunately for some of the fairies writing bad reviews it doesnt give everyone a happy ending. The reality of the last of us 2 is that it is reflective of the world within the game, no one is safe and no one is guaranteed their chance at development or their chance at redemption. The last of us part 2 perfectly captures what a post apocalyptic world is . This world is harsh and unforgiving and although Joel perhaps didnt get the end he deserved or the end the fans would have wanted for him it is part and parcel of the world he is in and the story of revenge and anger brought about by his death is nothing short of amazing. The reality is the game perfectly captures the human condition and the desperation for revenge. All the people giving bad reviews because they are too trigger happy to sit back and think about the brilliance of it all is sadly missing the whole point of the game. It is not without its flaes. I understand perhaps the timing of certain things could have been better but the essence of the story is the lesson that revenge is never perfect and in alot of cases you lose more than you gain by seeking it. It is not a 10/10 game but it is an 8 for me. A brilliant sequel that if u dare to think about it is brilliant in its own way… Expand

You want to open a drawer and get that stuff inside... but no, first she has to put her gun down, then she needs to step back, so you can see inside the drawer... and yeah then you can finally grab that stuff - the gitar moments and control feel like they were added afterwards - so much more little pieces, which make the game overall inconsistent

    I feel like the press gave this game the best ratings in advance just because of the name and studio.
    And it feels like every real rating, is pushed away from the press with the comment, oh they didn't like the LGBT content, they didn't like it politacally... F*** no, I dont care about this. This game was expected to be the best of the best, but IT IS NOT and the so impartial press pushs the disappointment of this game back, and make the few political reviews feel like they are the only that matters.

The effort put into this game was just immaculate. It was amazing how we could both Ellie and Abby’s point of view even though most people hated it. I know Abby killed Joel but her and Ellie are so similar I don’t understand how people could like one of them but not the other. The cycle of revenge that kept happening was just wow. The end had me crying because Ellie said she was scared of ending up alone and she did. Thank you Naughty Dog for this wonderful experience.… Expand

    La manera en la que el título te pone en los zapatos de los dos puntos de vista opuestos de la narrativa me parece increíble. Cómo explora la manera en la que empatizamos (o no) con los personajes en pantalla. Un detalle brillante es la parte del francotirador. Delicioso.

    El final tiene serios problemas de ritmo y el juego está demasiado largo para su propio bien, pero es innegable que hay bastante que aplaudir aquí más allá de lo técnico -que es una verdadera locura audiovisual.

    Los temas que maneja la narrativa son manejados con una maestría que no se había visto en el medio. Entregando un final que te deja el alma torcida.

    Gameplay is fun, however the constant bombardment of propaganda and the attempt of mental manipulation to strengthen the believes of misinformation regarding WW2 and the Holocaust among other things, seriously overrides the fun factor. The first game is great! No propaganda in the first game, excluding the DLC.

    For me the best video game of all times. The game with all its facettes is simply amazing. But what really makes a difference, is the emotional experience it creates. Very boldly it teaches a hard and surprising lesson about hatred, revenge and ultimately about the need to forgive - even your worst enemy.

It is a visual/audio delight, with exceptional gameplay - and I kinda admire the risk Naughty Dog took by not playing it safe with the story and flipping the switch as they did.     I don’t really do reviews but I wanted to make this one because this game is amazing. It’s one of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay is fun and the story is one of the best. This game is a masterpiece

    I've only finished playing this game a week ago and i feel betrayed. The gameplay was significantly improved over the years, guns felt more realistic and graphics sometimes was astonishing. BUT the story… Without comparison with the first part i would give it at least a 6/10, however unfortunately for Naughty dog, it exists. I'm studying as a scriptwriter and many moves in the second game are bloody awful. For example the Joel's death was written so poorly. He just died and that was kind of it. Yes, he could've died in reality like this but then it's not a great story. I don't think you'd like to watch me sit in the corner of the room and write scenarios for hours. They could've made his death much better. for example: after a tough fight Joel gets bitten while they're travelling and has to make sure that Ellie is safe before he eventually kills himself. It took me about 2 minutes to think about something mor exciting than 'he just dies lol'. After that begins the good old revenge quest, which is. Now i'd like to have little talk about Abby. I wanted to kill myself and my entire family when this creature was introduced. She is nothing of a character. Not only are her motivations wasted but she also looks like a tyler1, thus making her seem like a joke. You can clearly see that they underpaid a scriptwriter because there wasn't a lot of effort in making this garbage. Now i'll just state that the ending is some Naruto type of thing. I sure didn't expect it but not in a good way.

    So are there any positives?
    But of course. The graphics looks astonishing, they weapons feel more real, even the common enemies have more personality. Locations are not that linear and some mechanics feel more polished. Unfortunately stealth is still lower than the deus ex human revolution level. That's kind of it.

    In conclusion i have to admit the fact that if you play a game for a gameplay and not for a story this might be your pick. However if you want a great and entertaining story, just play death stranding or cyberpunk 2077.    … Expand

Ending to me was very sad and it left me empty. Also the gameplay wasn't that addicting like in the first game. It was sometimes boring and finding materials was boring. Just wanted to progress the game.

    Graphics are great and voice acting and acting in general was great too. I think this game will be praised in the future more...

    I would play it again sometime but I really have to process what happened first :D    … Expand

    This game is good. Really good. However, I cannot give it a 10. Even though the story is very controversial, I liked it and it seemed like a good platform to base a story off of. The game play is basically the same as the first game's and they do a good job of switching the guns and how the characters feel. But, the last few hours make up for it as it contains some of the best sequences and game play. This game will make you cry, hell even the credits make you cry. I think the first game is better, but not by much, and that game is an easy 10 for me.… Expand

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
