Para mí fue una muerte FORZADA.
    El jugador llega a simpatizar con abby pero abby no simpatiza con el jugador.

    Um dos melhores jogos de PS4. Não é a toa que levou GOTY.
    Procurei todas as argumentações de quem não gostou e notei que todas são esdrúxulas. Todas de pessoas que querem mandar na história e torcem o nariz se não seguiu o roteirinho q tinham na cabeça.

    Let's start with the good things, as the game is not entirely bad:

    -The graphics of this game are so good, I think it was one of the games that pushed the PS4 to the limit.

    - The prologue of the game starts very well because it gives that feeling that you are witnessing the return of the story of Joel and Ellie.

    - The whole ambience of the game, in general, is very impressive, from the destroyed cars to the abandoned buildings. At that point it was something that the second game really did justice to the first game.

    -The characters, at least for the most part, are so well developed, that even Ellie and Dina's romance / relationship works very well, and you can see that the two really love each other.

    - It is noticeable that although the gameplay is the same as the first game, but that it still works and that it has been improved and increased.

    - The sound effects are much more realistic compared to the first game, which helps with immersion.

    - Facial expressions are one of the best tapes ever in the gaming industry.

    - The soundtrack, which, although not very present, is melancholy, but which is still good.

    And finally...

    - The performance of the actors is spectacular, you can see that everyone gave their all to make these characters look more human.

    Okay, but now we go to the negative points of the game, and this time (with Spoilers)

    - After the sudden death of Joel, who was murdered by a woman who until that moment, UNKNOWN. The player plays for 12 to 13 hours straight without knowing why Joel died that way for no reason, but okay.

    In my interpretation, I think the second game is to show us the complexity of life and humanity. It strongly shows the us vs them mentality as well. Even though we’re shown how human each side (Abby’s group vs Ellie’s group) can be and how they have loved ones/friends of their own and their goal is to survive just like everybody else, we see how these groups still violently clash with oneIn my interpretation, I think the second game is to show us the complexity of life and humanity. It’s easy to paint the other side as the bad guys and so you fight against them, perpetuating the cycle of revenge and violence.

    The game is also about the parallels of Abby and Ellie’s story and how they experience loss and revenge. They both have lost their father/father figure, lost their friends, and experienced so much just for revenge. They really aren’t that different from one another. In the end, it was all meaningless because they’ve tired themselves out and have already accepted their fate, no longer wanting to kill the other— hence: “An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.”

    Lastly, I think the game is called The Last of Us because it is what’s left after all is said and done that makes us— well... us really. The game serves as a grim reminder that our actions have consequences, but it also reminds us that every character has a story/life of their own. This ties back into the complexity of life and humanity— we all have our own stories and motivations that make us who we are and determines who we may become. It is because of Joel’s actions which caused Abby to go after him in the first place. And we see in the second game how the desire for revenge causes Abby and Ellie to go against one another until they’ve lost nearly everything. The second game was never meant to have a happy ending. It’s supposed to make you uncomfortable and leave you feeling numb/empty afterwards, in order to show the grim reality of the world we live in.    … Expand

    A game that will stick with you even months after playing it. Beautiful graphics, stunning soundtrack, and some of the best voice acting of any game. The story feels like a natural continuation of the first game, but still shocks you to your core. They took a risk for the narrative direction of the game, and it definitely pays off.

I was going into the game expecting to hate it and while I feel they could have done many things better it was still a good game. Joels death was horrible. How would you feel if one of your favorite characters of all time was killed two hours into the game with a golf club to the head and then his lifeless corpse spat on and told to go to hell??? Once I got over this the game was ok. I loved the cutscenes but they were a little out of order it seemed to me. This game would honestly be a 8 or 9 out of 10 if it were arranged differently and we were told stuff earlier in the game. Besides that its a game that if you have nothing else to do or buy I would recommend but its not something you need to rush to play and it definitely was not deserving of game of the year.… Expand

Or a meaningless gorefest of bland military ops killing Germans or zombies. And as a 14-year-old, I see where the stereotype comes from, at school, all I hear about is Call of Duty and that is about it. From now on, anyone who plays nothing but COD, or thinks that videogames can never truly immerse someone into a world as well as a book or film, and can never make the player feel an emotion. I will show them this and the first game.

    Seconds ago, the credits rolled on my playthrough of this game. After a wipe of my eyes and a deep breath out, I grabbed my laptop to write this review. These are my raw thoughts and emotions towards this game. I will talk about the controversy at the end.

    Starting off, this game has by far the best acting and the best writing that I have ever seen in a game, with no competition. This game felt real, I was in Ellie's shoes, and I was in Abby's shoes. Now for the story, Naughty Dog had some guts with this one, and I know for a fact that they knew people weren't going to like it. But isn't that the point? This game makes you do things you know are wrong and makes you suffer.

    The story is brutal in the best way possible and teaches a much-needed lesson of forgiveness and highlights that the main character isn't always a good person. The main character of a game isn't always doing the right thing. The antagonist of a game isn't always a bad person. The story also shows that Ellie and Joel, the characters that fans of the series have come to know and love over 7 years, are not good people. And the main quality that is outlined is selfishness. Joel caused the death of millions because he had grown attached to Ellie and prevented the production of a vaccine that would have killed her. Ellie left her home, her friends, and also her partner with a baby. She left all of this behind because she wanted revenge. These people are not beloved character's and they are not good people. But neither is Abby, in fact, nobody in this story is a good person. In the world they live in, nobody would be. All these characters care about is the friends and family they have. If anyone is going to hurt them, they will hurt back, even if it is not justified. If the cordyceps pandemic were to happen in real life, if we were living in a post-apocalyptic world where there are basically no rules, I imagine it would be just like this game. I imagine there would be mini civilizations, I imagine there will be crazy terrorist cults in wars against factions of good people trying to bring life back to what it used to be. And for going all out in showing this, no matter how disturbing and brutally upsetting this may be, I give a huge amount of respect to Naughty dog, they pulled it off flawlessly.

    I played this game for a first time Last of Us marathon. After luckily securing a PS5 at launch I downloaded the remaster of the first game from PS+ alongside my collection of PS5 games. I slowly played through it, finishing the story just over a week before getting this one. The reason I'm saying this is because the leap in graphics and gameplay was huge. Getting graphics out of the way quickly. I thought the first game looked beautiful and this one blew me away. The environment that this game puts you in as well is also stunning, the action setpieces really took advantage of the new tools that the studio had gathered since the first game. My favourite was when Abby and Lev were trying to escape the Seraphites island during a conflict with the WLF. Seeing the island slowly burn down and seeing the people fighting gave me chills. Another highlight was Ellie's first encounter with the Seraphites.

    The gameplay in this one felt like a huge improvement over the first as well. This is the most refined that The Last of Us has ever felt and I loved it. The mix between puzzles, exploration, and stealth encounters is well balanced and I never got tired of any of them. The mix between humans and infected was also pretty even which I am grateful for. I was never bored with the gameplay and the interactions between characters during the gameplay kept me invested in the story.

    Now, the controversy. I think the main people who didn't like where the story went were long time fans. They loved Joel too much and were so filled with rage that he had died only a couple of hours in that Abby had to die. They felt that after the cliffhanger, the game had grinded to a halt to try and make them care about Abby. I'm accusing long time fans because as a new player of these games I didn't care as much about Joel and Ellie as they would. I still cared, but I didn't have 7 years to obsess over them. This is why I cared about Abby as much as I did for Ellie. As soon as I got to know her and her friends, I immediately felt guilty for killing her friends. I had an open mind for Abby. This is what Naughty Dog wanted. And they nailed it.

    E' un capolavoro assoluto, è semplicemente impossibile dargli meno di 8, già solo da un punto di vista tecnico. Una regia cristallina degna di un film, una grafia sbalorditiva e delle animazioni facciali che facilmente fanno dimenticare di star giocando ad un videogioco. Il gameplay risulta la versione migliorata sotto ogni punto di vista del capitolo precedente, la possibilità di nascondersi, i cani e l'introduzione del silenziatore, vanno a rendere il gameplay divertente ed intrattenete, dato che questi ed altri nuovi fattori contribuiscono ad ampliare le opzioni di ingaggio. La costante sensazione di essere cacciatore e preda allo stesso tempo, rende l'azione ansiogena al punto giusto, tanto che durane gli scontri si tende più volte a guardarsi le spalle, questo fattore è aiutato anche da un'intelligenza artificiale ancora lontana dalla perfezione, ma sicuramente molto più sviluppata rispetto ad altre esperienze videoludiche: i nemici se hanno il sospetto che vi troviate nei paraggi, devieranno dal loro percorso standard in modo del tutto inaspettato, cercando di prendervi alla sprovvista. I nemici sono proprio una delle features che più mi hanno colpito, perche danno l'impressione di essere veri: si chiameranno per nome, urleranno di dolore e vi malediranno quando ucciderete un loro compare.     I hated Abby from the beginning, then when Naughty Dog made me play as someone I don't like, the hate simply raised so when the "revenge is bad" ending happened it really ruined this game. Warning everyone I know not to play this dissapointing game. 2 points because the gameplay is fun and graphics amazing, but without the great story in between this game is absolutely not worth playing if you have already played the first game and cares anything about the characters from that game.    … Expand

You play as the villain in most part of the game, the story is pretty simplistic revenge for what happened at the end of the previous game but for some reason lets not talk about it The only reason people say the story in the previous game was good is the dynamic between ellie and Joel, take that away and you got an empty game

    The gameplay is pretty much the same that the previous one, they added 1 more infected mutation that appears maybe twice, the puzzles and level design is poor, the only mystery is when you find a lock door and have to broke a windows to get in and read the password of the vault that is written in a few meters away and that happens like 8 times. Thats all the puzzles in the game. There are a few good scenes in the game like the performance of ellie, nora killing and the birthday of ellie and joel, beside that i cant think of anything else if this game came out for ps3 it would be considered really good like the last of us part 1, but things have change and so does the game you are delivering the same gameplay nothing new but a crappy revenge story about the simple concept of, and "eye for and eye, and we all will end up blind" Empty

Em termos de pontos negativos, cosidero que o jogo é longo demais, chega uma hora que fica cansativo. E osSe você é uma pessoa preconceituosa, provavelmente você vai dar nota baixa para este game.     "Abby is GOOD, and Ellie is BAD." You wasted 20 hours of my life trying to convince me and you know for a fact not everybody can agree on that idea. I'm rating this game a 2/10 and I know you probably don't deserve it. Now we are even.

    Bad story aside, the game itself has major flaws in terms of game design. We play Ellie for good 10 hours and then you give a new character with ZERO progress (no weapon upgrade, items, whatsoever) and we have to continue from there until almost the end of the game. The game has over 200 collectibles but disappointingly NONE of them matters to the actual gameplay. All these are bad game designs which are commonly found in games 10-15 years ago.    … Expand

    I was never a huge fan of Tlou, but I WAS a big fan of Joel and Ellie. This game does NOTHING to fill that void. The gameplay is a improvement overall and the visuals are stunning, so I can see myself recommending this game at the very least. But if you're looking for a coherent story, there is NOTHING for you here.

    CONS: The father figure dying in a horrendous manner, murdered and LITERALLY spit on, but wait thats not all, they FORCE you to play his murderer for 10+ hours. Think about that, someone who creates this is definitely doing it on purpose to upset people. To get a reaction. This is not a true sequel, they couldn't have **** it up more than they did, its impossible.

    The primary issue with this game is that the story makes little sense in the setting of a continuation story when it forgets wat the foundation was. Had this been a spin-off instead i believe it would have fared much better in my personal opinion. Naysayers will likely mark this as blasphemy and state it is a perfect masterpiece. And I would agree if it had been a standalone game. However it is not and it therefore lacks proper coherence.

    That said, the game as it stands is fun. Don't get me wrong, the game has massive story issues. However, it is a fun play regardless which so some degree overcomes the story issues.     At first you will play with Elle. You will work to build Elle’s character perks and weapons but you’ll never be able to max her out because you switch over to play the rest of the game as Abby, somewhere around the half-way point.

    Abby has her own weapons and perks, so it may feel like starting the game over from the beginning. Visually I enjoyed the game, but it doesn’t offer much else in the way of variety. There’s only one way to pass through an area. Even with one entrance and one exit, the game literally guides you through. If you’re taking too long searching for ammo, the game tries to give you on onscreen hint as to how to reach the next load point. There’s not much challenge to be found. There are a ton of playable story parts that have nothing to do with the present time. These moments last an average of 10 minutes and are especially slow because you won’t get to use your weapons or work toward building your stats. These flashbacks are usually some variation of following another character to listen to them talk. It felt like the studio didn’t have enough material so they threw in a few hours of playable-flashbacks to make the game feel longer. Couple those flashbacks with only playing the as same character for 10 hours and you’ve got yourself a boring experience. Overall I thought the story was well written but switching characters and losing all of my stats in the middle of the game was a terrible design choice. After grinding and searching each room to build up Elle’s perks—only to switch characters—made me lose all interest. I found myself not caring about Abby’s story and skipping most of her cinematics. The graphics, are amazing, and it runs so well on the base ps4. Im a pc gamer and WISH we had optimization like what they do. Now for my favorite part of the game, is the gameplay. It is one of the best controlled third person games I have ever played, there is no delay in movement like in gta 5 and the gameplay is so damn smooth, the mechanics and movement animations are flawless and fall right into place right after each other. In the beginning I didn't like it, but in the middle it started to be more breathtaking. I think it's one of the most important reason to buy console.

I couldnt comprehend the loss of a such a memorable character and the relationship between him and Ellie. I stopped playing about midway in Ellies playtrough.

    I gave this game a try after watching some of Videogamedunkeys youtube videos about this game. I was no longer emotional attached to the loss of Joel and was able to truly appreciate this game for what it is. One of the best games ive ever played.

    If you like me, couldnt finish this game the first time because it was simply too much, too emotional jarring. Give it another try.

While I could clearly see what the developers WANTED me to feel playing the game, the way they killed off Joel in the prologue after having me wait 7 years to play as him again made me disconnect completely with Ellie at times. While she was grappling with the horror of what she was doing I just found it annoying and surgically made sure I executed every single person on every single level as revenge for Joel. Without intending to I took months to finish the game, simply because I stopped giving a **** once the game swapped to Abbie and had to be coerced into playing more by my wife.

    Game is gorgeous on a technical level, easy 10/10 there but story poisoned the well from the very beginning. Did not immerse myself in Ellie and found it borderline annoying that she was being emotional about her revenge plot, having her spare Abbie was the straw for me, 1/10.

    It's really good, I'm not putting any Spoilers here, because I'm not a **** but most of the haters don't get that the game isn't about revenge, it's about love, redemption, forgiveness and acceptance, the game does all it needs to, I was thinking about rating it a 9, but.when I thought about it, it's a 10.

    To me, up until now, this will always be a HOT pile of garbage I'd never waste, not even one single SECOND, on it. It's basically WORTHLESS for me.

    This is more like The Lust Of A** more than The Last Of Us. Also, calling this trash The Last Of Us is very, very insulting to its predecessor.

Una lastima lo se hizo con este juego, para mi solo existe el primer The Last Of Us y la segunda parte la veo como un chiste mal contado.… Expand

    Naughty Dog made an excellent video game.I can understand why people are angry but i love the story.They took the bravest path and their storytelling is amazing.
    The Last Of Us Part 2 focuses on 2 main chracters.Its like 2 sides of a knife.
    And of course with a great soundtrack.
    it is the best game of 2020

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
