    I played first part tlou and it is masterpice but second part is great **** If you have choice to play tlou2 or rewind first part you should chose second.

    Técnico: gráfico, ambientação, som, trilha sonora, atuação, captura de movimentos, até o momento não tinha visto algo tão grandioso como esse game.

    Narrativa/história: Não é pra ser totalmente "agradável de sentir", talvez não seja a história que você espera ter, mas sim a que precisa ser contada pelo jogo. É duro, lindo, cruel, emocionante, chocante, intenso, reflexivo, e exige certa maturidade e mente aberta para absorver. Claramente não é uma história de bem contra o mal, de super heróis e vilões, isso é uma história humana, de pessoas com suas nuances, de psicológico complexo e realismo forte.

    Mislead the majority of the player base who expected a continuation of the Last Of Us, not a Darwin Award for arguably one of the people most influential during, and apparantly able to survive in the wild, gets taken out whilst his lil girl goes out into the wild a new man!

The story is a emotional Rollercoaster with decisions you have to make with whom you don't 100% agree. The individual character stories got me driven but the reason why I dont give this game a 10/10 is because I did not like it to play Abby for soooo long. Her arc could be shorter and this game would be perfect for me + I found some deaths of characters pretty lame but at the same time realistic.… Expand

Well i have been playing video games over 25 years including TLOU part 1, i was really looking forward to play this sequel and i was playing it but there was so much violence against animals, a horse and a dog during cutscenes, when the enemies began using dogs to track me down i was really worried so i investigated before i kept playing and what i found out was terrible so this is the first game i ever rejected because of that extremely violent content, it crossed the line and i hope they fix this on a patch perhaps.… Expand

    I went into The Last of Us Part II knowing the spoilers for the first bit of the game. I soon realized that some of the spoilers were wrong and that the game was great. It makes you feel emotions that you never felt before playing a video game. It leaves you thinking for a long time after you beat it.     Los gráficos son majestuosos y la ambientación es la mejor que le pudieron dar al juego.

    El gameplay es bueno pero se hace aburrido con el tiempo, son demasiadas horas de juego para la poca evolución en la jugabilidad, todo el tiempo es prácticamente lo mismo.

    La historia es lo peor del juego, y las decisiones de los personajes son muy estupidas.

    Good graphics and sound but terrible terrible story/plot development, the writers should be fired, such a terrible game, it's a shame that naughty dog could've ruined such a hyped game with such dumb writing, it's like first out of uni writers... what a joke honestly.

    By far one of the best games I've ever played. The best graphics, a great and entertaining gameplay. And the story is not bad, the only problem is that people simply get mad because it doesn't go the way they wanted. It has some flaws, but definitely don't deserve the hate.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. What to say about the follow-up to one of the last generation's most revered gaming experiences?

    TLOU was a masterpiece of empathetic storytelling. The game was featured in academic papers, its ending endlessly debated, its stellar gameplay praised to the heavens. The critics and non-critics united in bestowing universal acclaim.

    Rightly so in my opinion. The first game was lightning in a bottle.

    TLOU Part II is NOT satisfying in the same sense as TLOU 1. That alone has created a storm of controversy.

    But like or dislike, can anyone who has finished the game deny that the director, Neil Druckmann, has become much bolder, more confident, and more daring in his work when one compares Part II with the first game?

    That alone deserves a great deal of recognition. Druckmann knew exactly what we wanted: a follow-up to Joel and Ellie's trek across America. Laughter and lament, ending with the flavor of a bittersweet heartbreak.

    Yet he opted instead to give us something shocking and new.

    I don't know if Druckmann deserves all of the credit for the new additions. There is a wider effort of inclusivity within the game which can be appreciated in the same way if we look at the pains that Naughty Dog took to include all sorts of accessibility options for those impaired of hearing and vision. Cultural inclusivity as well; LGBT characters are featured in starring roles in a subtle, finessed manner. I absolutely adored Dina, Lev and Jesse as new characters who were so damn cool just being themselves. I loved Naughty Dog's extra effort to tell inclusive stories in accessible ways.

    Onto the nitty-gritty:

    If you are a 3-rd person shooter fan a-la- Resident Evil , you will enjoy the gameplay. It's the same as Part I, only much more refined and expressive. The addition of the dodge mechanic and prone stance were my particular favorites. There's also an 'encounters' option in the menu to jump right into your favorite fights.

    Aesthetically, the game is simply a masterpiece of graphics optimization. You will sigh with pleasure when you wade into a puddle of water and see its glorious rippling reflections. There's just so much to marvel: after a while, you won't even bat an eye. Your mind will be so immersed that you simply forget this video game is rendering a lucid dream on hardware that is 7 years old.

    The music, I must say I prefer Gustavo Santaolalla's music from the first game. Its melodies were more recognizable.

    And lastly, the most important effort of all, is the story.

    I cannot enjoy this game's story. And I am just so damn sorry to say it. Naughty Dog poured their hearts and souls, their sweat and their blood into this game. They are true craftsmen and deserve our appreciation.

    Many people, including Druckmann, have remarked that this story is NOT about revenge, but ultimately about forgiveness and about coming to terms with loss. I agree. TLOU Part II has done everything right in terms of narrative direction. Druckmann and Halley Gross's characterizations are considerate and complex.

    But I really have to question, at the end of this journey, what Ellie has learned. What she has gained from her tragedy. And I am left with the dispirited answer that she has learned how to move on. How to heal from her terrible wounds.

    What does this story say about revenge? That it is hideously messy, that it swallows up innocent bystanders and corrupts the original noble impulse of honoring our loved ones? That it brings us to the brink of true evil, of the crime of denying others their humanity?

    But we already knew all that. We well understand, as adults, the consequences of taking revenge. And who hasn't thought about killing someone over a perceived slight, over a heinous injury? Is it terribly satisfying to recognize that our mortal enemy is also full of fear and love, like us? I felt it was a redundant lesson.

    Instead, I felt that as an audience, we yearned to understand the meaning of Ellie's life. Joel hinted that he knew this meaning when he told her that he would have saved her all over again if given the choice.

    If Part II is about moving on, then it's largely moving on from the legacy of the first game. I can understand why Naughty Dog would choose to move in this direction. It's incredibly bold and unexpected.

    But in my mind, Part II is a middle act in a greater story. And this middle arc was excessively violent, predictable and self-indulgent, as are most revenge narratives in my experience.

    Since the prologue of Part II, Ellie has been merely reacting to her horrible loss, reacting to the actions of her friends and foes. But we yearned to see her grow up and to take her life into her own hands. We yearned to see her make choices that reflected the true worth of her singularly valuable life. I could not bear to see Ellie wasting the gift of her life on vengeance over and over again. I wish it were different...but it ain't.    … Expand

    Graphics are stunning, the gameplay is the same as the original, it feels like there are only minor tweaks to some of the gameplay mechanics.

    The story is my main issue with the game, it jumps all over the place and is full of flashbacks, unlikable characters, disappointments and plot holes.

The combat is good just like the first entry and the survivalist atmosphere with low amounts of ammo and items is there in spades. I think it went too far in some points, pitting you against an insane amount of enemies all in one go. Some of these encounters proved to be a dragging slog honestly. The "zombies" were only an afterthought throughout. But in all it isn't as bad as some people are making it out to be. I give it a 7.7-8. Not perfect but definitely worth the play.

    *SPOILERS*

    I don't care about the progressive storyline people seem to be review bombing for no reason. Was the story as good as 1? No. Was it good? Yes. The ending is complex. In my estimation the final section of the game showed how Ellie believed she owed Joel and had to avenge his death. But I believe Ellie realized that Joel wanted Ellie to be alive and HAPPY. That is why she let Abby live. She realized that killing her wouldn't have brought her the happiness she had with her girlfriend and child. The vengeance she had in the beginning of the story was fueled off of pure unadulterated rage but in the end she realized that just like in the first game Joel only ever cared about protecting Ellie and making sure she was happy. That is what rang true for me. I don't think it was the best ending but I think it was valid. Abby did a horrid thing but Ellie realized nothing would right that wrong and decided to move past it.    … Expand

We are not homophobic, racists, or bigots like the Naughty Dog team wants to believe we are. We are merely people who want a small ray of hope in the dark times we live in. The first game captured it perfectly. But, The Last of Us Part 2 is a heaping pile of misery porn and forced, manipulative narrative that jams unnecessary messages down your throat.     I just finished the Last of Us Part 2 and I can't help but feel sorry for the developer team. They did such an outstanding job with the graphics, the voices the physics... But the writer team.. You can kill a beloved character but if you gave no meaning to his death other than delivering the message with this never ending circle of violence that just not cut it. The story in general was lacking and comes down as one of the many revenge stories and not a good one at that. But as I said before I have nothing but praise to the folks at Naughty dog. It could have been a true masterpiece. But in my humble opinion The Last of Us part 2 while it's nothing less than technical marvel with good gameplay with it's lacking story and a weak character like Abby end's up being nothing more than a good game.… Expand

    The world of TLOU is harsh, cruel, and sorrowful, where humanity has been long strayed from its original values. A lot of people here say that the game is bad because of its story but I think TLOU part 2 deserves at least an 8, in an objective way for the landscapes, visuals, and gameplay - it's a breathtaking game and a mindblowing experience.

    Absolutely phenomenal. Never before have I played a game that made me feel such a strong connection with the motives of the main characters. It made me laugh, cry, and question everything. It deserves all the accolades it has received from critics.

    On my second play through on survivor+ and TLOU2 continues to shine. This game takes narrative risks but ultimately adds new layers to the story unveiled during The Last of Us. Naughty Dog has delivered masterfully with its latest achievement. Salutations all round to cast and crew.

    Very disappointed on the narrative side..visually looks not much different from the first and mechanics are also somewhat similar..Game play wise it's definitely a 7 didn't notice a single glitch or bug...but narrative wise being a story driven game it's a 2..

I am happy I did as you only get to experience things for the first time once. I finished it yesterday so thought i'd check out reviews on YouTube and Reddit etc and was genuinely surprised at the hate thrown at this game. I'm just a bloke from West Yorkshire so what do i know, but I loved it. The atmosphere created by the music and environment was tense, scary and beautiful. I was moved and hurt by the story. I empathised with most of the character, feared Ellie, was gut wrenched many times even though I knew I the reason for the heart ache were actions I had carried out hours before. Yes it is a bit long in parts, there were times that i could only play for about an hour before taking a break, sometimes this was due to the stress, other times it was because I wanted to savor it.

    As a piece of media there is no way this is a 0-5 game. If you play games to get lost in a world, forget about your job, or to waste some time then you cannot go wrong with it. Thoroughly enjoyable and I can honestly say I feel a bit empty now I am no longer playing it.    … Expand

    Just end the game. The Art is awesome but Last of Us was always about the story and now is so silly. I actually don't mind about the obvious leftist agenda on it, but force it to a level that can literally ruin the entire story ? I had enough of Naughy Dog.

    What a pathetic excuse for a story... killing the main character that we all loved from the first game in less than 2 hours in the most ridiculous and morbid way, just to force an agenda down our throats! Who in their right mind does that?
    What's the point of painstakingly building up a character in the previous game that generated so much love and acclaim across gamers only to write him so badly out of character to the point that he's totally unrecognisable; then introduce a character that we're meant to care about after he/she brutally kills the former loved and understood character, despite the fact that he literally had just saved his/her life?! As if that isn't enough, we're now forced to play as this terrible character for what seems like half of the game. Total bullocks!
    This is the worst story telling and characterisation I've experienced in any video game... an utter disgrace of a release; especially in view of most of the shamelessly hyped up and obviously paid (with money, favours...) critic reviews.
    Why on earth does an apocalypse game about infected zombies prefer to lay more emphasis on lgbtq relationships and sex? Even if it was straight sex that should not be the focus of such a game, especially being a sequel to such an awesome first game that also had lgbt characters - albeit it wasn't the focus of the story and characters.

    Really fun game but some parts of the story aren't that good and I didnt really enjoy playing as abby not that she was boring to play as it's just that the whole time I played as her I was just waiting to play as Ellie again the game is amazing other than some parts of the story but I would definitely recommend this game

    I enjoyed a lot this game, i really think that the gameplay and graphic got a big improvement, the narrative isn't as good as it was in tlou, but it is still realy good, i don't think that it deserves less than a 6 but neither more than a 8, really good game, and i'll play many times. All the 0 are from joel widows and 10 are from fanboys

    This game exceeded my expectations...The story is better and more complex, the graphics, atmosphere are on par if not better than the first, and there is a lot more Joel than I was expecting. The only complaint I have is that because the animators made the characters so fluid - it somethings makes the controls a little cumbersome - but other than that - I think this is an amazing game.

    I have finished TLOUS2 the experience is like a roller coaster and I can say that I don't agree a lot of things but I cannot deny that it has been the best story, If you want to live the game you should feel how is this world is like and this is a cruel world.

    Now the gameplay, sound, and environment it is terrific!! A lot of people talk about history, It is adult history.

The writers weren't crap, they actually thought through the entire story, not just what they wanted to happen in this particular segment of it. What this type of writing did is force you into the perspective of someone you hate, to show you the pain of two characters who have had someone ripped away from them at the hand of the other. It shows what grief can do to you in a world that is out of your control, just like real life.     The gameplay is smooth and free almost entirely of bugs, the level design is impeccable, the acting is phenomenal, and (what most people had issues with) the story is gritty, dark, and exhausting in the best way possible. I will steer clear of spoilers for the sake of encouraging others to play. In my experience, I went into this with the mindset of "this will be about Ellie and a very different narrative from the first game". While certain parts made me very sad the results, which you need to look at from a human perspective and not a video game perspective, are beautiful. Each character that you get to meet and understand a little bit more about them and their relationship with others although brief at times is just enough to send the message of "this person was important to so and so and now they are gone, they have lost someone dear to them".

    You get to watch characters that you will grow to care about descend into a darker part of their mind than they thought they would. You get to observe how for some loss is not tied to only the death, but also to the loss of hope for all the times they fought and will never get to make up for, all the times they laughed which will never be shared again, and all the ways they shaped you into who you are which you may now come to learn, you can no longer be.

    Some of the deaths, although sudden, do reflect the reality of loss. You can't predict when it will happen and it can be jarring when it is sudden and violent. It can cause anger and in the worst cases violence in those mourning.

    Some view the game as pretentious, trying too hard to show people the dangers of revenge to others and to the self. I can appreciate that feeling. It was a long game and really worked to make the players feel defeated by the end and ready for something new. For me though, that is exactly why the game works. You can tell how each character is exhausted and wants to stop, but something in them keeps them from doing so and makes them blind to their actions until they do something that makes them think "is this too far?".

    This was not the Last of Us (1). This was the Last of Us part 2. Ellie is grown up, she knows things now about Joel and her past and she, as well as the other characters, will be far more complex because of this. This was a Beautiful game, I am on my second playthrough right now and my advice for those hoping to play it: the game is human emotions at their most raw and violent, each character is connected to the others in some way. Remember that when thinking about how you are not connected to a certain character another is or when you are tired of the quest and the struggle, so are they.

Genuinely creepy sections too. Each to their own of course but I do not understand where a lot of ppl are coming from when criticising this game.

Honestly really loved this game, thought it was less bleak than people made out (even the ending), loved the the relationship between Ellie and Dina, my only real criticism is Manny, who was...really badly written as a walking latinx stereotype :/

    As a trans person, I appreciated and liked the trans rep with Lev, very cute character and his relationship with Abby was reminiscent of Ellie and Joel in the first game

    I felt Joel's death makes sense, I always assumed he'd die and him going out in a blaze of glory would make no sense, and considering most "revenge" stories focus on a white dude's love ones (usually a wife and/or kid) getting fridged, this was a pretty refreshing take IMO

    Give it a 9/10 cuz it has it's flaws.

    Gonna hurt a lot of feelings here, but people whine for the dumbest of reasons. The death's are all fine and justified, sure you loved the guy, but its fine. Flashbacks bring an emphasis on his fatherly figure, made me tear up seeing as he saved my ass once again in that ONE flashback.
    Lot of movies/series do such sudden deaths, its more realistic. No need for talks or cinematic 'deaths', you just pow the guy, it happened to Joel and to pretty much every character in this game, loved the approach.
    The guy spitting on him is not Druckmann for those who keep insinuating that and blabla there are many misconceptions that keep getting pushed. Its a spanish model for one.
    So much to say i dont have time to write it, moving on.

    2nd arc with Abby is more so you can see that she has a soul as well, try to empathize but the game does make a job of poiting out she is a **** they don't really want you to like her, just understand her.

Since if you circulate online on different forums and sites, most of these are filled with SJW hate and whatnot that most people don't even care about.     I do hate some of the SJW stuff as well, i have nothing against SJW in particular i just don't like that everyone is trying to put it in your face in every game and movie nowadays.
    Like for real, if the PC culture and SJW isn't in a game nowadays its a crime and that annoys me a little.
    The is the sole reason and maybe a few plot holes that i give it a 9 out of 10.

    We gave TLOU1 a 10/10 because of story. We give TLOU Part 2 a 1/10 because of story.

Justifica o tempo que levou para ser lançado. Uma história sobre amor e ódio, com plot twists e violência pesada. Sometimes the characters would do things they would never do in the first game, or they did things against themselves in earlier parts of the game. For example, in the first game Joel never trusts strangers and never tells anyone his name. In The Last of us Part 2, he tells Abby and her friends his name and where they live. Also, in the first half of the game, Tommy is hesitant to get revenge on Abby, but in the second half of the game, he pressures Ellie into getting revenge. The game also try’s to get you to sympathize with Abby, which I found annoying. The only reason I didn’t want her to die was because she had a kid. Some scenes felt out of place, such as the cutscene of Abby and Owen. In the end, Ellie spares Abby because she was also able to forgive Joel for taking her out of the hospital. As she returns home, Dina and JJ are gone, and she leaves Joel’s guitar behind. I have heard people say that her doing this was because she had to leave her relationship with Joel behind. I can understand that, but what I don’t understand is why Ellie killed many people, possibly hundreds and then when she found Abby she let her go. This game is fun, and while I’d recommend it, it’s not as good as what came before.… Expand

Мне очень понравилась эта игра, в ней практически всё прекрасно, персонажи прописаны интересно, у каждого персонажа есть мотивация, и его действия объяснены. Лучший геймплей из всех сыгранных мной игр, в эту игру интересно играть, ты не ставишь минимальную сложность чтобы просто смотреть фильм, игра является хорошим продолжением первой части, она делает всё по другому, не просто повторяет что-то добавляя, что как по мне более хороший выбор. Единственное с чем у меня смешанные эмоции, это финал, я хоть и не профессиональный сценарист, но разве не лучше, что элли бы всё осознала, и просто отпустила Эбби? Хотя скорее всего это сделано для того чтобы показать полную неразбериху с эмоциями и действиями Элли. После прочтения многих негативных отзывов, у меня сложилось впечатление, что большинство даже не играли в игру, никто не сможет объективно доказать правильность и объективность своего мнения и рецензии соответственно.… Expand

    I'm going to split this up in 2 parts. 4 points will represent gameplay, graphics, mechanic's, voice acting etc. The remaining 6 points will be based on story and writing. Since this is a story based game I feel it is fair to have the majority of the points awarded in this section. 4 out of 4 points for the former and 0 out of 6 for the latter. There is a big difference between skillful direction and cheap manipulation and unfortunately this falls into the latter. As a standalone this would have just sucked but as a sequel it's laughable. this doesn't even touch on the ending which I'm going to pretend was written by mentaly deficient chimpanzees because my brain won't allow me to believe the possibility that a highly paid adult human writing team could ever produce something so ridiculous. Its so pretentious that I want to roll my eyes just thinking about it.... Dear God 7 year wait for drivel.... Such a shame.… Expand

It shows how lazy the devs are and it shows that they no longer care about the franchise. Playing through the whole game i was just thinking about how much of a mess everything is. El juego me parece brutal en términos de gráficos, jugabilidad y música de fondo, personalmente me gustó la historia porque para mí la murte de Joel tiene sentido ya que el después de estar años en Jackson tranquilamente y sin ningún problema obviamente iba a estar mas confiado que en la primera entrega y que eso le iba a jugar en contra, también me pareció interesante usar a Abby pero el problema que le veo a este personaje es que mato de una forma demasiada brutal y cobarde a Joel de tal forma en la que es muy dificil empatizar con ella, por eso me pareció muy duro tener que usarla cuando llega al teatro y tener que darle una brutal golpiza y no saber si vamos a terminar matandola. lo malo que le vi yo a la historia es la inclusión de genero totalmente forzada, me pareció muy raro que Abby le haya perdonado la vida a Ellie después de todo lo que hizo para vengarse y luego Ellie le haya perdonado la vida a ella después de como mató a su ser mas querido. Para mi si le hubieran dado a Joel una muerte un poco mas digna, no forzar la inclusión de genero de una forma tan obvia (Ellie no tiene nada que ver porque en la primera entrega se vio que era homosexual y de igual manera le tenemos un cariño enorme) y que en la primera pelea de Ellie vs Abby te deje elegir a quien usar y quien tiene que ganar para asi terminar este ciclo de venganza de una forma mas coherente y así se entendería mas por qué le dieron tanto empeño a querer hacernos empatizar con ella para que se vuelva una dificil desición… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
