    Graphics are good, but the terrible story and god awful bugs make this game is trash don't waste money on it wait until it is on sale for at least 80 to 90% off, or you see it in a bargain bin somewhere.

    I can understand that some people dislike this game because of the things that happen. But a lot of "Fan"-Reviews are completely nonsense for the most part. I think most of the people who wrote such negative reviews have not played the game.

    The characters and their dialogs are awesome. The Gameplay is solid. Nothing really new or very exciting. It works, feels good and that's what i expected for this game. I do like the stealth system. I wish there where more games with that kinda mechanic. The NPC and enemy AI works really good and is acting naturally.
    The biggest strength of the game is it's story.
    If you like what's happening or not is personal preference. But you can't say that the story is disappointing or trash. Because that's not the case. And that is an objective meaning.

    Graphics are insane for a console that's 7 years old. No Framerate issues at any time. The sound and the Soundtrack are also very good. And no bugs in my whole first playthrough. Well done Naughty Dog!

    Overall a very good game and something i didn't saw or felt before playing this masterpiece.

Do not believe the ridiculous bombardment of negative reviews, as it’s doubtful most of the users have played through the game, and many of them have various agendas. Outside of this game being gorgeously rendered and designed, outside of the smooth and addictive gameplay, the powerful acting, and yes, AWESOME story and writing, this game challenges the player like no other to second-guess their feelings and provides nuanced, multifaceted views on the nature of vengeance, mourning, murder, and how mindless anger can cloud one’s judgment. This is not a happy game; if you allow yourself to become invested in the various characters, there’s a lot of painful payoffs, but it’s an essential piece of art in a medium that yearns for new stories and creative ways to tell them. This game will mess you up and make you feel things, and even if one of those things is anger, that’s okay. A must-play, and a game of the decade contender already.… Expand

In order to make a successful product and be a good content creator, you must find a balance between satisfying your fans and making something in your vision. Too much pandering is bad, but so is not listening to your consumers and dismissing their complaints. Naughty Dog didn't find a balance here. Delivering repetitive, sloggy gameplay, with a story thats needlessly edgy without depth like some thirteen year old girl's rabid fanfiction. Shock value isn't always going to work, it's a cheap circus trick at best and your consumers in a field like the video game industry always have a higher standard than that. This is by far one of the most underwhelming sequels I've witnesses and there's a reason it's getting "review-bombed".… Expand

    The game is solid 9 I liked it, I had a lot of fun, especially finding all the safes and opening them, guns feel very heavy and strong, the story is good but a bit weird. I think this game is a masterpiece and it is one of my favorites, I recommend it.

    I love this game, I finished it a few days ago. It is a masterpiece like the first The Last Of Us. The quality of the graphics, the settings, the details, the gameplay but above all the History. It's very close to Uncharted which made me very happy as I'm very attached to the series. I hope for a possible part 3. People are known to hate him because of a twist and the ending.     Dizer que esse jogo é algo superior a 8, é ser ou querer ser um mentiroso. O jogo não é menos que quatro eu imagino, não consegui jogar o jogo por causa da história por isso entrego este quatro. Porém, consigo entender que o justo seria um seis, péssima escrita de um péssimo produtor. O jogo não é ruim por ideologia de esquerda, mas pela falta de capacidade de quem o fez. xD

The game is not less than four I imagine, but I was unable to enjoy the game because of the story, and being a story focused it deserves a four. However, I can understand that the fair score would be a six, lousy writing by a lousy producer.     This game is like North Korean propaganda movies. The Last of Us 2 force you to go through naughty dog's lame Political Correctness propaganda and it is not fun at all just like North Korean movies are.

You can see the anguish on Ellie’s face during parts of the game. If you’ve played, you know exactly what I am talking about. The story was a breath of fresh air. I laughed. I cried. I can’t wait for my second playthrough so I can really explore. Naughtydog added so many small storylines and world building. I’m sure I missed some of it. The sound design was also *chefs kiss*.     An amazing game with fun gameplay that is quite challenging on the higher difficulties.
    IMO story is great, even though controversial (if you didn't notice); characters get a lot of development. The only downside I found for myself is the pacing of the last 10% of the game.

    This is a must-play.

    Ok, I'm being completely honest, I love the gameplay and scenery of the game. Its absolutely stunning and beautiful. I have 4 main issues. 1) they kill off a character we truly love in a fashion that makes them to act stupid, because everyone knows that character is to smart to actually be tricked in that way. 2) the game follows the exact same steps at all times, abby ditches her group,Ok, I'm being completely honest, I love the gameplay and scenery of the game. I have 4 main issues. 1) they kill off a character we truly love in a fashion that makes them to act stupid, because everyone knows that character is to smart to actually be tricked in that way. 2) the game follows the exact same steps at all times, abby ditches her group, tommy ditches his, they both kill some people, it's the exact same thing vover and over for the entire 25 hour gamplay. 3) the ending is horrific and way too stupid to actually be good, the fact that the decisions ellie makes is far too stupid for her and the fact she is left with nothing at the end , no father, no wife, no guitar skills, no son, is just a terrible way to end it. 4) the fact we have to play as a character we hate because she kills he one we love, is just slogging through the game for 10 hours, it gets so boring and frustrating to just play her and we actually have to control her to beat up ellie, the character we loved for so long is just horrid. I'm being honest here and saying I love the graphics, but as a gamer I hate the plot so much that it ruined the whole experience for me and I canr even return the game. Overall, save yourself 60$ and watch a youtuber play. Naughty dog, you guys did a terrible job and you act like you made an amazing game the fanbase will love, we do not love it, we hate it.

    The story doesn't hold a candle to its predecessor. Characters make dumb, convenient choices. The ending is unsatisfying. The game tried its hardest to make us like Abby but we will hate her many years to come!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
