    If you love first last of us, do not play it, i am serious DO NOT play it! The storyline is awful and cliched.
    The mundane, dated and buggy gameplay doesn't help one bit, it only adds to the disappointment
    It is everything that a sequel shouldn't be...

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really liked this game. The atmosphere of The Last of Us 2 is great due to the excellent graphics and a huge amount of detail. The plot of this game is cruel, and many people did not like it, but I appreciate that the developers did not try to please the players, but acted in such a way as to leave the gamers with more emotions.

    P.S. A lot of people who rated TLoU 2 less than 5 consider the pros of the game as cons. Joel’s death was so harsh on purpose, and not to “merge the character,” the game for Abby was not to “lengthen the game,” but to show that she also has many reasons to act like she enters etc.

    Gameplay and graphics are great, but the story was really disappointing and i did not really feel any connection with any of the characters, old or new, as i did in the first game.

    The first last of us felt like a sneak of the Ps4 and the last of us 2 is no different for the ps5. It is Truly top of its class in video game tech.This time around you take the reins of Ellie and the somewhat sympathetic antagonist Abbie some people will be turned off by playing as Abbie, I was for a little bit at the time but it was interesting to see the different perspectives this gameThe first last of us felt like a sneak of the Ps4 and the last of us 2 is no different for the ps5. It is Truly top of its class in video game tech.This time around you take the reins of Ellie and the somewhat sympathetic antagonist Abbie some people will be turned off by playing as Abbie, I was for a little bit at the time but it was interesting to see the different perspectives this game brings to the table.I am glad video game makers are starting to write games that don"t have a safe narrative anymore.The game play hasn't changed that much but it has been more refined.I am more in the camp of if its not broken don't try and fix it.The character animations are just brutal when you kill a dog you actually feel awful doing it and when you kill someones friend and you hear them scream there name out you feel just as bad especially with how visceral the combat animations are.Its a bleak game but has alot of fun moments spread throughout, This truly is a master class in game design. Dont listen to bad reviews written by crybaby incels That never even played the game. I am not sure how you review a game and give it a 0-10 score at midnight on the release of the game, its like you never played the game and listened to some butt hurt crybaby adult loser on you tube and **** instead of thinking for yourself.If you get this butt hurt over a video game then you have some real issues you need to attend too.In my opinion this game gets a 10 its not perfect but it is a masterclass in game design,If you absolutely hate the story then I would say its a 9-10, the animations, attention to small details, graphics and game play are excellent. Don't let your self miss out on this game because of insecure people on the internet. be a leader and think for yourself.… Expand

    1년 내내 머릿속을 떠나지 않는 강렬한 경험이었다 ㅋㅋ

    제발 3편도 꼭 나왔으면 좋겠다 ㅎㅎ
    감독이 드라마인지 영화인지 찍으러 가서 차기작 늦어질거 같아서 슬픔 ㅠㅠ

    I could go into detail why I dislike the game but that would be more effort than what ND put into the game. even better, I couldnt even get a refund for the game. 10/10

    Great game. gorgeous, plays fantastic and interesting story. don't believe all the unwarranted hate. A lot of the negative reviews came an hour or 2 after the game came out. It's on average a 30hour game.

    If I am being honest, part 2 is very different to the first game and it could have been handled much differently and better. Characters make questionable decisions and are not very consistent, which is noticeable especially after playing part 1. The story is no where here nor there.     Full **** Homosexuals kissing, Joel died, although they showed in the trailer that he would be, a lot of cruelty. The game makes you kill, even if you do not want, dogs of people, children, what nonsense?     Disappointing in almost every way. Same old boring Naughty Dog gameplay... and where the first game was propped up by an amazing story, this game’s story is absolute rubbish. In a series built on narrative excellence, this is an unforgivable sin.

    This game is amazing I don’t get the gate people just wanted one tuning and got another but it’s a terrific story with great characters it’s my favourite game ever

    Much of the design remains, and the graphics are indeed stunning. The story however is pure unadulterated trash, is incredibly disturbing (not in a creepy intentional way ala Bloodborne) and the character development is atrocious.     My hate is immeasurable, and my week is ruined.
    I waited 7 years to play this
    And they gave me a horrible intro and trash ending
    I just want to forget about this game.
    In my mind we never had a sequel

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really liked the first half of the game, as Ellie, but the other half as Abby and the end it's just terrible. I mean, why we have to play as Abby? The character that tortures and kills Joel and Jesse! For the player it's not nice to play with an unbearable and irritating character as her. I was angry and uncomfortable all the second half of the game, and for me, as a player, that was a very negative point. it's like they want us to empathize with her, with her father death, the two Scars and the WLF group. We wanted from the start Ellie's revenge, not Abby's adventure and feels. At the end, when we have the only opportunity to kill Abby, we just let her go. In that way Ellie's journey to kill Abby has no sense, even all the hundreds of people that we killed to get to her and all the people we losed, for nothing! The graphics, the playability, the details and soundtrack are very nice, but what this game makes it special is the storyline and characters. I'm really sorry for the people who waited 7 years for this terrible experience. I was very confident in the narrative work of Naughty Dog, but this with no doubt, was a very disappointing game.… Expand

    The gameplay and visuals look great, but the game is held back by a confusing and inconsistent narrative. Confusing and disappointing wasted opportunities in the game as well.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
