    absolute shame.
    Certain game mechanics are ok, but most stuff is just brought back from the first game. Unlike the first game, i feel no connection to ANY character in this game. Theyre very very bland. I dont even want to get started on the story.

Nothing to discuss about the graphics, the movements of characters during the dialogues and the audio of the game, making you feel deeply immersed in the gameplay in every single moment of these 30hs of gameplay. BUT, i could not give more than this rating because of the story, the ending makes you feel empty inside without any real final of the story (we don't know whether ellie goes to dina or wherever else). Moreover, those hours spent playing the ebby's character without any real interest in this last lets me think they had no other content and put this just to "fill the bottle" .... so disappointed, i'd hope this was just a dream of mine but not. NAUGHTY DOG, sincerely, thanks a lot for DESTRYOING this franchise that was so brilliant and that's now taken down by the same creator.… Expand

    Its impressive how they **** up the game i couldn't think of a worse story. Dont say gameplay and/or graphics yeah there were good but TLOU is mainly about the story if you **** up the story nothing matter's anymore

    Top-of-the-line screen performance. Extremely bad plot: the narrative rhythm is chaotic, the characters are rigid, the behavior logic is contradictory, a lot of deliberately added elements. The game became a dark mess that seemed grand. Narrative this rat's droppings spoiled a whole cauldron of soup.

    THANK YOU for having the courage to make this story. This game has automatically become my favorite. I have laughed, cried, got angry, laughed, scared. It's been magical. Thank you, I will always carry these characters, and this story in my heart.

    this games a violation of the memory of the first game , to neil druckman WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING you said back when this was announced... we will honour these characters we will see you right ( to the fans ) what a lie , avoid this abomination of a sequel i waited years for and am gutted.

    Oh you like the idea of this game expanding on ellie's story maybe? Well hope you aren't intested in seeing where her life goes cause it's only into the ground.
    At first I was skeptical of the game and hoping for the best, but at the end of the day with a narrative driven game that touts about how cinematic it is, it should have a good story above all.
    Happy I bought physical so I can return it, play it and judge for yourself, I'm just glad I can get my money back and wash this from my memory. Not mad, just dissapointed.    … Expand

    This scenario is the worst trash that could have ever been written for this sequel. Auto destroying itself. killing the franchise forever.
    The key moments of this game are just like a spit on your face which annihilates every else that was good in the game. I wish I never played this and it never existed.     If the game just stopped right at the middle it would have been way better.
    Extremely poor choices that destroyed what could have been a masterpiece but instead turned out to be a monster.
    You will come out of this experience feeling insulted, disgusted and and even completely hating the last of us which is the worst thing you could do to the players and that deserves severe sanction 0/10 + the resignation of Neil Druckmann to keep him away from destroying any other beloved franchise.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
