Because of the story(That actually wasn't that bad at all) people didn't noticed that gamplay, graphics, sound disign, animations and cutscenes in this game are absolutely beautiful.     I give it a 5 because in many categories this game is a masterpiece. The graphics are great, the music is heartwarming, and the gameplay has been improved. But the story is bad, it doesn't compare to the story of the first game, it doesn't capture its tone or mood.

    The first game had sadness, desolation and melancholy ... but also hope, there were gray scenarios but also colorful    I give it a 5 because in many categories this game is a masterpiece. The graphics are great, the music is heartwarming, and the gameplay has been improved. But the story is bad, it doesn't compare to the story of the first game, it doesn't capture its tone or mood.

    The first game had sadness, desolation and melancholy ... but also hope, there were gray scenarios but also colorful scenarios. This new game does not have that mixture, everything is gray and violent, perhaps with the exception of the flashbacks, but they do not fit perfectly.

    Druckman made a risky decision and he failed. He made decisions without limits (for example Bruce Straley) and he did not tolerate any criticism that told him that his decisions were not in the right way (from the Nuaghty Dog workers themselves neither from the testers). Directors like Druckman are successful once, but not always (because no worker will tolerate those conditions).    … Expand

I didn’t mind the twist about Joel but it’s the presentation that seriously pissed me off. Only two things very good about this game are - 1. The graphics is breathtakingly beautiful and 2. Naughty Dog absolutely nailed the atmospheres. It's a 5/10 for everyone else. But for me it’s 0/10. I just don’t want to play this piece of **** ever again.… Expand

    Although there are a lot of trouble in this game, I still see it as a good game after I pass through, the scene and the action inside is so beautiful, so many details, we cannot deny naughty dog's hard work, even they had been changed a lot by Nile.

    It would have been perfect if the Abby play part had come out in DLC, not in the main episode.
    At least if the user has given him a chance to choose whether to play Abby.
    Except for this, it's my life's game.

    I'm speechlees... I've never seen a story so amazing like this one in any movie, book or game. This is a masterpiece and it will be remembered as one of the best games in history, if not the best.

En el primer titulo el sentimiento que nos hacia sentir Naugthy Dog era amor, mejor dicho amor entre padre e hija y este segundo juego nos hace sentir odio, por eso toda la parte de Ellie se sentía satisfactoria, porque ese odio que nos daba el juego iba con los responsables de matar a Joel.
    en conclusión The Last of Us part 2 es en pocas palabras el mejor juego del año por darnos un mensaje que la mayoria de las personas no captaron, que es que en un mundo destrozado ya no importa nadie no importa si te estabas preparando para ser papa, para ser mama simplemente se trata de sobrevivir como puedas, que en el universo e The Last of Us no hay buenos ni malos, ya no hay humanos simplemente personas y que sin un sentido de vida la vida no seria vida    … Expand

    The best video game I’ve ever played. This story is not for everyone, but this is honestly the best one I’ve ever had the privilege of listening to. The themes and messages are so powerful. It truly resonated with me. I still can’t stop thinking about it nearly 2 months after beating it.

    This is a great game. Great story, graphics, and gameplay. It deserves a 10. There are some dumb people on this website who say the game deserve a 7/10 but are giving it a zero to “counter all the stoopid 10’s” and now it has a 5/10 user score which is less than they said it deserved in the first place. There are also a lot of **** people who are giving a zero because a character is gay.This is a great game. Great story, graphics, and gameplay. It deserves a 10. There are some dumb people on this website who say the game deserve a 7/10 but are giving it a zero to “counter all the stoopid 10’s” and now it has a 5/10 user score which is less than they said it deserved in the first place. There are also a lot of **** people who are giving a zero because a character is gay. Their argument is that its shoving politics down their throat. They dont understand that some people are born gay and it has nothing to do with them or politics. Thats how real life works and the game world is supposed to reflect the real world.     Another great, great story from naughty dog. This game touches on so many major themes, such as war, vengeance, hope. Impossible to call it “only a videogame”

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Yep definitely the game of the year. This is a masterpiece. I loved the fact that this game shows how things are not always that simple. A good guy here and a bad guy there. No, that's not how it works. You can't say Abby deserved to die more than Ellie or the other way around. They're both good people just trying to survive in this **** up world. They both became obsessed with this whole revenge thing and they almost forgot who they really are. They're not evil. Perfect ending. On a side note: I loved the queer representation in this game.… Expand

    The game is made with high quality from the point of view of graphics and some of gameplay moments. The game made a big step in AI of enemies. The GREAT work with sound. Graphics deserves respect. Even on my ps4 slim it looks awesome. The work of professionals is obvious. Work with light is on high level. Nevertheless I would like to notice that we were waiting this game for 7 years. SoThe game is made with high quality from the point of view of graphics and some of gameplay moments. The game made a big step in AI of enemies. The GREAT work with sound. Graphics deserves respect. Even on my ps4 slim it looks awesome. The work of professionals is obvious. Work with light is on high level. Nevertheless I would like to notice that we were waiting this game for 7 years. So THE GREATEST minus is absense of new gameplay mechanics. When i was playing this game my fillings was like im playing well made remaster of the first part. So there is literally nothing new, i mean fundamentally new mechanics. The second minus about the plot. When i was playing the first part i was filling the synergy between myself and the character im playing for. In this part i cannot do this. Even trying to force myself. Maybe if Naughty Dog wouldn't concentrate on things which are not deserve it, so plot could be much better. Now i can say that there is the worst plot and charactets created over the past 5 - 6 years. So we have high quality game from the point of view of technical part and the worst from the point of view of storytelling. It feels like "someone" has decided to sacrifice a good story in favor of imposing his worldview.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
