    Incredible. I’ve never felt so many emotions while playing a video game. It’s an incredible feat what naughty dog have pulled off. It’s a work of art. A deeply uncomfortable one at that. Not everyone’s gona like it because it takes some controversial turns but that just adds to the experience in my opinion.     This game had me on a roller coaster of emotions. There were times where I wanted to really Hate this game but I couldn’t. This was a fantastic example of storytelling and pulling on our emotions. It’s a story of sacrifice, revenge and redemption. Absolutely loved it. Any criticisms that I have aren’t a deal breaker for me. And if you Hate the game that’s fine but Hey it’s art and art isThis game had me on a roller coaster of emotions.     Me parece increíble como explotaron e intentaron hacer todo mas real, el detalle de las armas, la salud al recibir un golpe, el ajuste del ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, solo digo espere 7 años para que joel muriera, muy triste final...

On a nice tv in 1000 but HDR glory it's eye meltingly delicious and I can't praise the team at naughty dog enough for the script the execution of everything it's truly a wonderful visceral violent in depth hate machine revenge story it's amazing. This is a 10/10 make no mistake people are 2 hours in and review bombing that's just ignorant and you didn't make the game the creative choices here are bold new scary and ****ing intense. 1000% a must play experience both games.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In my opinion it is a good game. It has its good things as its bad things. One of the good things that I can highlight are the gameplay, the way to target artificial intelligence, among others. The graphics look great. Other things that I can highlight are the small details that nauthy dog gives that her games, this is not far behind, each stage, each climate were surely created down to the smallest detail. Now I will talk about history. Let's start at the beginning. It is quite good that they show the environment in which the characters live and show their respective indifferences. Ellie looks more mature but is still a teenager. Dina (her love interest) is very well added, since the dlc of the first game Ellie's sexuality is demonstrated. I have many more things to say but I really don't remember right now. Now I will say the bad or regular things. I start with the first most important death in the game, Joel's, considering that he is no longer the same as before and because not because he is the protagonist he has to be invincible, but even so they could implement this fact in the middle of the game (for example) even so what happened makes the players want to take revenge with all their forces. Another thing I didn't like too much was how much we used Abby. I know that somehow they try to explain the other side of the coin, but a lot of people already bored playing with the antagonist so much. Now I will talk about the deaths. To be honest I liked the deaths of Abby's friends, except for the pregnant girl, that touched me a little. Jessi's death was shocking, they didn't even give us time to say goodbye. I didn't like that much. Regarding the end, I would have loved that we could kill Abby or at least have been bitten by an infected person and die. In the end when Ellie leaves the guitar alone it seems to me that it is like a way to forgive Joel. In my opinion it was a great game, yes, not for any type of public.     An absolutely amazing game. This game builds well off of the first without trying to do too much while simultaneously adding in QOL enhancements and more detailed gameplay/graphics. This game keeps the same gripping and deep story along with fulfilling and memorable characters.

    The game not only kills off a beloved character but in the manner it was done makes you question if the sequel was really made by the same company as the first game.
    Joel the main character in the first game, is a person that hardly trusts anyone in the first game but in the second game he trusts the character that ends up killing him so easily, completely out of character.
    Not only that but you are forced to play this character right after she kills Joel and with objective to kill the other main character from first game and to make things worse the game tries to make you like her by implying she is not really a bad person which totally does not work.
    The game also has many plot holes as a result of such terrible writing and feels so rushed.
    Well done naughty dog for ruining the franchise and your fans trust.    … Expand

    Amazing game. Stunning visuals, great gameplay, greater story and phenomenal acting. 10/10. The ending was satisfying to me and I felt it did the game and its prequel justice. Go play it and enjoy it!!

    Truly the best looking game ever,graphically its second to no game,frim character rendering,gunfights,animation to the little touches, like backpacks swaying realistically,footprints in the snow,water effects,animals in the surrounding areas,and lumps of blown up flesh sliding down walls,and so so so many more all bring it to life...its such a beautiful and well crafted world,I'm so impressed and I cant understand the hate this game is getting,especiallywhen you see weak story based games not getting as much hate,really sad to see!! Perhaps those haters should go play minecraft or Fortnite,better yet,call of duty!!! Leave the adult games for the actual adults,who have been waiting for a game,of this fame and caliber anyway,that utilises,maturity,violence,epic stories and emotion, among lots of other reasons,all of their god damn lives! I cant reccomend this game any more than I already have done!     Best game I ever played,and I must say the elder scrolls and fallout games,and the star wars knights of the old republic games,were are my favourites,,so I'm not a part time gamer,and I know when I play a good game or not.

This is life imitating art, quite far from what so many gamers are familiar with.     The story didn’t go how I expected, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. The graphics are incredible and the gameplay doesn’t lose excitement throughout the 25+ hour campaign. A true masterpiece in my opinion.

    Tlou2 es un juego totalmente distinto al primero, realmente pensaron que iba hacer igual? una historia basada en amor? claramente no. La parte 2 refleja venganza y odio, te lleva a muchas emociones, desde la felicidad, tristeza, impotencia e incomodidad, qué juego logra eso realmente?.
    Técnicamente el juego es perfecto, excelentes gráficas, ambiente, animaciones y música, es una experiencia que solo se puede entender al experimentarla y no dejarse llevar por comentarios de gente que solo se basó en spoilers y que llegaron sólo a la parte de Abby jajajaja.
    La historia está muy bien hecha, no había otra manera de mostrar ambas realidades, sáquense el estereotipo de juegos que tienen en la cabeza y solo disfruten, valió cada segundo que jugué.

Now I will admit the transition to playing as Abby is a bit odd it took some getting use to her character but now I see why Abby did what she did and I've loved seeing her story. To all those haters who just hate on the fact Ellie is a lesbian or Lev is trans are so simple minded. They can't see that the storytelling in this game is cinematic breathtaking beat for beat. The gameplay is improved upon from the first ones realistic movement and gun mechanics and the graphics are outstanding. This game is definitely GOTY contender and may even win.… Expand

    For me it has been one of the best games this year taking into account the playability, linearity, scenarios, etc. Some people will fairly judge the story, but it does not take away those little details that make it a great game. I would have liked another type of story but the game is excellent

    I like the way they tell the story. I saw many critics on the second main character Ebby, which is totally a fully reveal of the hatred against those women who have a body image which doesn’t fit the Standard norm....

This will not be a game that makes you happy and a lot of people seem to be labeling shocking events plot holes because they didn't like what happened. Joel’s death should have happened in the first game imho, but it really sets up the tone for the second part. I’m so glad that Naughty Dog did this. Plot wise it is absolutely necessary. Graphics is great. It loads so fast even on my original PS4. Soundtrack is awesome: battle
    music especially. Enemies are smart and very difficult. Puzzles are creative and fun. I don’t see any filler content at all. Even optional routes contain unique enemies, notes (that you better be reading) and loot. It did upset me terribly to see what eventually happened to characters I loved from the first game, but I understand why the tragedies that befell them happened in the manner that they did. This is a harsh and unforgiving world where there is a reaction to every action and the line between good and bad is blurred repeatedly. Does this game have a political agenda informed by a feminist, gay, trans, woke agenda? Sure. Does that bother me? In some ways yes and in some ways no. Did they kill off one of my all-time favorite characters who happens to be the antithesis of all those things? Yes and graphically. Was I happy with all the narrative choices Naughty Dog made? No. But this is a damn good game with a damn good story and I enjoyed it immensely because it made me feel a wide array of emotions, and, simply put, it entertained me.     I can see why people might not like the game for the choices made on the characters but thematically it all makes sense. I absolutely love this game! The graphics are amazing and the characters (new and old) are fully realized. Great story and great game. 10/10

The story is dark and immersive. My only complaint is the last of trophy’s and no trophy’s for separate difficulties. If you ask me I would say it is worth the $60 bucks around 25 for my first play though, andIt too bad this game had gotten such poor user ratings, this game is fantastic.     I'm excited to play this game. The characters seem very interesting, and to be honest, I'm glad to see some diversity. One of the things I've noticed over the years is that when my husband and I play games, he can find a character he enjoys pretty easily. I can sometimes find an interesting female character in a game, but she's typically over sexualized. Which is not as much fun to play,I'm excited to play this game.
