Really, Neil? You liked her? She was awful and nothing to like about her. Normally I can understand why someone would do what they did but this one just.. Why?? Why did Joel have to die like that? That didn't make the story in any way great. Just sad. And sad ending didn't feel good at all. He was the last person I wanted to die. I can't emphasize enough how much I hated this story.     Another moment when not talented but brainwashed people took some piece of art and absolutely destroyed it, I can only be sorry for anyone who enjoys this story plot and political messaging in games.

    You can take a few good things from this game, but the beginning sucks and so does the ending. It's not like I just wish I hadn't played, I wish this game had never been released.

    I hope Part III comes out so we can at least get a good ending for Ellie.

All that after spending first half of the game trying to find her and get the revenge. Then at the end forgive her because **** it, why not. She bashed his skull in in a goo after slow torture. Not to save anyone but just doing it for her twisted sake. We killed all these wlf people to get to her but **** it, forgiveness is woke and Abby deserves it. Total **** Heartbroken, disappointed. Galera eu odeio The Last of Us 2, pra mim e Esse jogo comete o mesmo erro de Last Jedi, destruição de personagens antigos para beneficio de personagens novos, matam o Joel com duas horas de jogo da forma mais ridícula imaginável, transformam o Tommy em um completo imbecil que leva a morte do seu irmão e ao desencadeamento dos eventos do jogo e transformam a Ellie em uma personagem desprezível, tudo isso pra fazerem as pessoas gostarem da Abby.
    O jogo e tão manipulador, que ele quer te fazer gostar da Abby a qualquer custo, eles cospem na imagem do Joel, descaracterizam totalmente a Ellie fazendo com que você veja ela como a errada, exemplos: A Ellie mata cachorros o jogo inteiro, a Ellie trata o Joel igual um pedaço de bosta o jogo inteiro, a Ellie mata gravidas e mata geral que ta no caminho dela em busca da vingança. A Abby e boazinha, primeira vez que você joga com ela você pode ir brincar com o cachorro, porque a Abby e boazinha, ela não mata cachorro ela brinca com eles, a Abby buscou vingança mas matou só a pessoa que importava a ela e deixou a Ellie e o Tommy viverem, a Abby arrisca tudo pra ajudar dois estranhos e depois de tudo que a Ellie faz a Abby ainda deixa ela e a nariguda viverem. Ta vendo como a Abby e boazinha ? E outra coisa tambem que as pessoas parecem não perceberem, a Abby parece um tanque de guerra obviamente por motivos políticos, mas ela luta igual o Joel e usa as melhores armas do jogo, inclusive algumas armas que o Joel usava no primeiro jogo, ate isso foi feito de proposito pras pessoas gostarem mais de jogar com ela.
    Os personagens tomam decisões extremamente burras e irrealistas, as escolhas deles não fazem o menor sentido, parece que aquilo foi feito de qualquer jeito apenas porque aquilo precisava acontecer pra historia continuar. Nao faz o menor sentido a Abby deixar a Ellie viva após matar o Joel em sua frente, com a Ellie gritando e jurando vingança, nao faz sentido a Abby deixar a Ellie viver mais uma vez depois da Ellie matar todos seus amigos, não faz sentido o Tommy ser tão burro e fugir pra Seatle e deixar a Ellie pra trás, sendo obvio que a Ellie o seguiria. O jogo tem problemas demais de logica e quanto mais você pensa pior fica.
    Sem contar que todos, TODOS, os personagens novos são sem graça e sem nenhum tipo de carisma, eu simplesmente não me importava com nenhum deles e ate hoje o único que eu lembro o nome e o Jesse, o final não faz sentido nenhum, mas pior que isso, quando chegou nesse ponto eu já não me importava mais e não via a hora do jogo acabar.
    Agora deixando a historia de lado, a gameplay e bem ultrapassada, exatamente igual a do primeiro jogo, o botão de pular e a coisa mais inútil que eu já vi, o jogo tem problemas de ritmos sérios por fazer tantos flashbacks tornando o jogo por varias vezes cansativo e entediante, principalmente na segunda parte em que eu não dou a mínima pros personagens em tela os gráficos são bonitos mas não são os mais bonitos da geração e a inteligência artificial dos inimigos e bem burra.
    E vale lembrar que esse jogo esta longe de ser unanimidade, esse jogo e extremamente controverso, vocês tem essa sensação de que todo mundo ama o jogo porque voces vivem na bolha do playstation, mas a realidade ta longe disso.    … Expand

Neil and his media-friends' political views are shoved down our throats, making the story feel like a cheap propaganda piece rather than a genuine narrative.

    As for the characters, don't even get me started. Neil thinks he's a master anti-hero storyteller, but in reality, he's a talentless hack who relies on cheap emotional manipulation to try and make us care about his dull and uninteresting characters. Abby is a boring, one-dimensional character who adds nothing to the story except for pointless violence and misery. And don't even get me started on her dad. Who the hell cares about some loser because he saves a zebra?

    The decision to destroy the beloved characters of Joel and Ellie is nothing short of a travesty. Joel, who was once a complex and sympathetic character, is reduced to a mere plot device whose only purpose is to die a meaningless death in the first act of the game. This cheap, lazy attempt at creating a shocking moment only serves to undermine the impact of the first game and leaves a sour taste in the mouth of anyone who cared about Joel's story.

    And what about Ellie? Druckmann takes a character who was once brave, strong, and determined and turns her into a pathetic, whiny mess who is unrecognizable from her former self. Her descent into misery and despair feels forced and manipulative, and it's insulting to see such a great character be reduced to this.

    Last of Us Part 2 is a prime example of what happens when a writer's ego gets in the way of good storytelling, and it's a tragedy for fans of the franchise.    … Expand

    Tried to give this game another shot after waiting and waiting for my absolute favourite game The Last Of Us. Since I finished the TV show and knew I had paid $100 and never finished after being completely traumatised by Joel being completely beaten to death in the first 10 minutes of the game. People should know. Its traumatic. This game was a huge escape for me. Something I needed in bad times. Don’t play it if you have PTSD if you don’t know that happens already.

    Yup he gets completely beaten to a pulp. Some GOT vibe I never expected. I remember getting up the first time I played and saying NO NO NOOOO. This time I swallowed it. Tried again.

    I understand the story to some extent but it is absolutely terrible. Doesn’t really make sense. The map, environmental aspects, flashbacks, all of it really doesn’t make much sense. You’re just running around forever and it’s so boring. It ends on a complete cliff hanger. I will never understand exactly why players had to play as Abbey. The murderer. And have to try to kill Ellie?! Idc about spoilers. People should know. I understand the message but why? Why push this?

    Neil you are a terrible writer….why you did this I really don’t understand. You got all your money and stopped caring? I understand the message but why deliver it like that? Idk what happened to you in your life or something with your creativity shifting so drastically but this game was such a waste of money and total garbage. I’m sorry but it is. You seriously just run around for the entire game. Expecting there to be some big moving moment or something but there’s none. I really tried to give it another chance but it ended up breaking my heart again.

    I hope the TV show doesn’t do this…I’m sure fans will be equally infuriated and traumatised and upset by this just overall bad story writing. I understand the message, I do and I like it but the way it’s presented is some of the worst story writing I’ve ever seen.

    Such a disappointment. I really looked up to Neil. This was lazy and sloppy. Pointless. Boring. Waste of time. Trying to push a message on people in the worst possible way. It could’ve been done so much better.

    0/10 I really tried my best to see the good but by the end. As a whole. The game is bad. I don’t know a soul who thinks it was good.

    Don’t waste your money, time, to be disappointed, bored as hell, heartbroken by a beautiful story being slashed to pieces with no proper explanation or ending.
