Joel gets murdered at begining of the game, by a TRANSEXUAL!lol. He uses a golf club to murder Joel.Ellie is lesbian who has relationship with a Hebrew brown girl, who that girl later gets pregnant by a chinese and Ellie and That brown girl with her chinese child, become a ''family''.Ellie and that brown Hebrew girl do drugs and you control 2 characters. Ellie the lesb0 and the transexual guy who takes steroids! I kid you not. he takes steroids! And he gets analy prolapsed in a boat by a white guy. During your missions you will find a pregnant woman who dresses as soldier, carries weapons and fights zombies and also characters which you never saw before but game presents em as cannon serious and important. Seriously im not kidding you! This is the story of the game!     i do not even know what they were thinking... i mean killing Joel was cruel and unjustified and i want Abby (Abbey... i do not know) to disappear from that universe. The game is still bugged to the point that you can not play it (two years later)

    This is one of the most dragged out games I've played. The characters are counter intuitive, the narration, story and screen play are all over the place. Game become reparative real quick. And things arent consistent. The story is riddled with plot holes.

    Visually it's spectacular, the gameplay it's quite good but nothing refreshing. The story is pure crap.

    I finally got around it and played this mess, and Oh Boy, let me say that this is the one game that If I could, I would give a negative score.
    Without going into specifics, you have:
    -Gameplay literally lifted from a 2012 game -Poorly written, unlikable and unrecognizable "characters" (In the case of Ellie ESPECIALLY) -Some of the most cringe inducing pandering I've seen in my life    I finally got around it and played this mess, and Oh Boy, let me say that this is the one game that If I could, I would give a negative score.
    Without going into specifics, you have:

    -Gameplay literally lifted from a 2012 game
    -Poorly written, unlikable and unrecognizable "characters" (In the case of Ellie ESPECIALLY)
    -Some of the most cringe inducing pandering I've seen in my life
    -Generic "revenge bad" plot
    -One of the worst "partings" to a beloved character to date
    -THE grossest sex scene ever put in a video game to date

    Really, I take even an Issue with people that say to give it a shot and play this game because it looks "graphically impressive".

    You see, when you have a story driven game and the story is an absolute disaster, graphics don't really matter in my book, saying: "But it looks good though!" is a very shallow compliment for something that really doesn't benefit the overall experience in any way that I would consider substantive, especially if you realize how weak the other two components are.
    And sure, it's a great extra if the game looks nice, but it should never, EVER, be the focus you strive for (See the Order 1886).

    No wonder there was a massive exodus from Naughty Dog after this game was released, I can't think that in good faith a lot of people working there saw this and thought it was ok in any capacity.

    And you better leave your other IPs alone from now on, I shudder to think what a Neil Druckmann Jak & Daxter or Uncharted game post TLOU2 would look like.

    As for future entries, do whatever you want with this series, get aliens involved, IDFC, at this point my investment is dead and buried, I'll probably skip part 3 and watch the cutscenes on YouTube or something like that.    … Expand

    One of the weakest stories in gaming ever. Characters are literally unlikable and make no sense. The story just isn’t good and it tries too hard to make you feel sorry for people that you immediately don’t want to feel sorry for. And the ending tries so hard to make you feel sad, without making any logical sense.

    It is bizarre how a series goes from one the best games of all time to a sequel that is among the worst of all time. Awful writing. Violence for the sake of violence. Bad pacing. Repetitive. A plot-twist that a monkey would laugh how they thought of it. It is so unrealistic that believing aliens is more sane than thinking that plot would actually ever be believable.

This game was literally the only game I threw away after playing through for a couple hours, I think this game definitely deserves the bad press it got 100%, the story is bland and focuses way too much on making the female characters strong and turning a smart and strong man dumb and weak, this is also excluding murdering him very early on, and the biggest issue with this is the fact that a lesbian bigot straight up tortured him and killed him in front of Ellie, who was practically his child and they cared for each other, but she also bit off two of Ellie’s fingers as well, and this **** gets to live after all of this, this isn’t even taking into account the other important characters they kill off and the game tries to hard to make you like the person you hate. Definitely not worth the money and the critic reviews in this game definitely aren’t deserving, and they certainly don’t have your interests in mind.     The worst sequel to anything ever. Terrible, horrendous, story. Refunded the game as soon as i finished it and i never do that. Love the first game, this game- naw dog. Dont play it if you liked the first game. Came back to write this review after watching a couple episodes of the show and rewatching clips of the second game. Reminded me how bad the game really was.

Terrible story, boring repetitive gameplay throughout the whole game, terribly written script, terribly awkward sex scene/confusing love interests, horrendous character progression (the game actually makes you dislike your once favourite character, Ellie), one of, if not the WORST ways to kill off Joel, showed zero respect to the fans and the character, one of the worst and most disappointing endings, lack of gun and melee choices, absurd violence and an unnecessary amount of killing dogs, a weird and very draining attempt to make the player feel guilty when playing as Abby, also an idiotic event where you tell Tommy you won’t help him find Abby (seemingly ruining their relationship) just to eventually go looking for her and then finally returning home to see Dina and the kid gone with Ellie left absolutely all alone.… Expand

    Never trust critic reviews when it comes to Sony games. They are mostly overrated borefests, and this game is no exception. Druckmann really does think he's the next Kubrick, except he can't write for **** and will bore your pants off with unskippable cutscenes that go on forever. If you've played one Sony exclusive, you've played them all. Boring, pretentious drivel the lot of them.

    Visually? It's on another level, no one can reach it let alone exceed it. But... games aren't about graphics or else I would rather watch movies! It's the story, gameplay and characters, and the last of us part 2 was a disappointment in those aspects. No need for hidden agenda, we are here for games and fun.

Todo mundo esperando uma continuidade da história de Ellie e Joel e o que recebemos é este asqueroso pedaço de merda. E não tem nada a ver com preconceito com personagens LGBTQIA+ (ainda que a abordagem não pareça nem um pouco natural em um mundo pós-apocalíptico), ou por não aceitar a morte do Joel, mas sim com a maneira porca com que entregaram o jogo. Depois de tanto tempo, eu pensei que eles tinham uma ideia legal para a parte 2, aí aparecem com um plot genérico de vingança, escolhendo um parente de uma das muitas pessoas que Joel matou no primeiro jogo como protagonista? É sério? Além da história podre, o jogo não é toda essa perfeição técnica, não. Existem bugs na gameplay, a mira é MUITO sensível (mesmo ajustando), os clickers parecem te detectar de maneira aleatória, existem seres humanos com ossos largos que recebem flechadas no meio da testa e não morrem, etc. Enfim, uma fétida e grotesca obra da Naughty Dog.     The Last of Us part 2 is pure trash, it's a story about getting revenge against the new character Abby for killing Joel and guess what it's a revenge story with no pay off in the end. Abby gets away because revenge bad and Ellie is to weak to carry it out. For a game that acts like it's a perfect master piece it sure doesn't feel like it more like The Last of Us is an overrated pile of pig S@^&.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
