    Boring, typical storyline, low gameplay game. A brilliant plot that doesn't add up. Violence breeds more violence, but Abby's murdered friends and mowed down crowds of people for revenge for Joel's death tell a different story. When Ellie forgives Abby after that moment something breaks in my head

    I don't understand how it's possible to make such a terrible game in 2020, i had a blind trust in Naughty Dog for making great games but this one... what the... ? Even my 8 year son could write a better story. Some day he'll be able to play part one but if he asks me if there is a sequel 'll have to tell him no.

The last of us 1 was perfect, character development was great, the gunplay was something fresh, the OST was fantastic. it felt like every person you met, you made a connection with. The second ruined every bit of it. The start is literally, gay sex since, then Joel dies. LOL, such an overrated game, Every male character dies, expect Tommy all the others die a quick death. garbage waste of time. 0/10… Expand

    The story was a disaster, the characters in the game were not interesting and boring, what a way to ruin the legend of the last of us. Whats worst is the fraudulent advertising made to hype this game. There is no innovation in the gameplay, its exactly the same as the first except this game has better graphics.

I dont care they killed of joel but they spent the rest of the game trying to get me to sympathize with abby who i didnt care for i barely know her i didnt want to know her and i felt they wanted to portray ellie as the bad guy. Also the main quest of the game is trying to get revenge on abby for killing joel but it doesnt even let you do that which makes the entire game pointless. I flat out hated the game after the ending. Overall because of the bad story i couldn't find myself enjoying the graphics or the gameplay or the music.… Expand

    Joel literally yells “Hey I’m Joel Miller the guy who killed your dad and ended the fireflies”
    That wasn’t a way to kill off the main character but I mean it’s only the beginning The rest of the story it’s like “Joel did bad things so he deserved it”
    You killed our main protagonist with such a nerve it feels like Neil didn’t play the first game

I gotta admit the gameplay is good and the graphics are phenomenal. But it’s expected when you take 7 years to make a game with so much production hype and followers. This triple A title game is a political message rather than a game you would enjoy playing. Abby is the worst character created, her timing within the story is pure garbage. And they seemed to add along the way that she is trans, just to fit a ‘trans’ gaming audience. But why? Just because of the plot, I couldn’t enjoy the game, there was no drive no purpose for me to continue and hence the 0 star rating. The game is a waste of money, and the coders for the game have been more oppressed than any trans person I know. They had to watch the story writers Anal rape the game in front of their eyes.     poor story, poor design, poor narative. TLOU didnt need a second part. Dont get fooled by holywood tricks and productions. If a movie is bad, it will remain bad w/e the visuals and the production... same thing with tlou2... its just very very bad.

Abby is so unlikeable and should be the villain because of that. Nobody wants to play as abby. The first 10 hours were great but playing as Abby is horrible. Owen is boring, Mel is as annoying as Abby. U should play the full game as Ellie and not be expected to like Abby despite her killing Joel. Tommy barely features and Jessie, the only good new character is killed by Abby for no reason. I think this game is a 6/10 but we can’t let the writers think that this story is actually good. I wouldn’t have minded the story if Abby died at the end but of course she didn't because Abby is perfect and Ellie is trash.This game could’ve have been incredible but the morale of the story is that violence is wrong and Ellie is bad despite abby trying to kill every main character.… Expand

    A colossal disappointment of unimaginative story telling that attempts to explore the consequences of anger/revenge at the kindergarten intellectual level while using x-rated violence and gore. I’ve honestly never been more insulted by the in game narrative choices made on my behalf. There are humans on this planet that behave like the characters in this game

The only game I have ever played where I actively attempted to get my money back. Part 1 made me feel so attached to both Joel and Ellie. It was writing (acting and animating) at its best.     TLOU is my favourite game in the last decade and top 3 in the last 20 years. It had decent gameplay, great graphics and especially what made this an outstanding game is its story. Take that away and it would become average.
    TLOU 2 may be a great game for those who didn't play the first, but for us who did, this was a HUGE disappointment. Waste of time, money and ruined your credibility.

You spent 20+ hours killing everyone that tried to stop you only to spare the one that made you go on a killing spree in the first place. The gameplay is basically the same, they did improve it with the whole jump button thing and the tall grass and all that but not what you would expect from a game they have had 6 years to work on. The enemies was slightly better, i liked how the humans you kill actually made interactions when it comes to tracking you down and try to kill you. The new infected the Shambler was just a downgrade, it was slow and goofy looking and very easy to kill making it less threataning compared to the clickers and stalkers. They tricked the fans thinking a loving character who was playable in the first part was actually going to come back, he did for about 20 minutes after getting killed by a person who is playable character who he saved 10 minutes earlier, making the players hate her already. I feel like they forgot what made us like the characters in the first game. Joel and Tommy were people who have survived long enough to understand never to trust a stranger ever, Joel went through being a hunter, smugglar yet he still trusted armed strangers who he never would from what we learned in the first game. Tommy giving them his name to the people who wanted to kill his brother which is just stupid and written poorly. Why did you not make two different campaign, one for Ellie and one for Abby, instead you threw both of them in one and had to jump from character to character which was very frustating making the player unintrested the fact that you had to make them play Abby moments before she kills Joel. It would be better to understand the characters instead of switching them both nor forcing you to play characters they dont like and if they did and wanted to know more they play her side of the story showing only her perspective. Sorry for the bad english, i loved the first game and after playing the second part i wished that i just looked at the spoilers because that would have saved me 60 dollars and 20 hours that i would find something to do more enjoyable then playing the thrash that is this game.     I was so hyped for this game I thought it was good until they force you to play Abby for 10 hours and play through her story which i really didn't care about. They made every man in the story weak to try to make the woman seem strong and all they achieved was making them nonsensical, selfish and immature. Great job Naughty Dog. After waiting so much time to play it and as a huge fan of the first one I honestly wish this game didn't exist.

    Bottom line is... the only way to enjoy this game is if you don't think or if you never played the first. Any amount of brain will get in the way of enjoying this "jewel."    … Expand

Aiming and shooting are OK but not that great and the stealth mechanics are getting repetitive for a 30 hour game. Very restrictive and kind of boring, the gameplay feels a bit outdated. It is almost as if the creator of this game made wrote this plot (and dialogues) to piss of the fans and only cared about promoting himself (more than one self inserts) and advertise his views, in order to attract attention.     each time i come here and see the massive difference between 'critic' review and user review, I feel uncanny, as if 'critics' got paid for good reviews. What really matters are the people who actually play and care about it. Really disappointed in overall gameplay and storytelling. This is clearly not what the latter part of people wanted. Will not even bat an eye on this series again.

This game is littered with political propaganda that doesn’t fit the narrative that was originally laid out in the first game. To find out that a character we played as for a majority of the first entry, isn’t even playable... just to be replaced by a flat out unlikable character, feels incredibly disappointing. The visuals don’t mean anything if the plot is this mishandled by a company that once put themselves at the top of storytelling. Shame on the writers of this pile of trash.… Expand

De gráficos y de jugabilidad es bueno pero obviamente tenía que serlo por que ya estamos sacándole el 110% % de provecho al ps4. Si lo compraras con el the last of us de play 3 verdaderamente no se ve mucho avance 7 años después esperaba algo mejor. Creo que no tomaron en cuenta a los fans para nada. Los seguidores de este juego no son niños ya son personas adultas, y el que es un niño con poca imaginación y poca capacidad de entrelazar esta secuela es el director de este juego. But ever since the introduction of Abby and her friends, it felt strange, but Joel's death is what really ruined my experience. This game had so much potential to being the greatest game ever, but Naughty Dog just had to kill off my favorite character in all of Naughty Dog. The Graphics is obviously great, soundtrack is beautifully done well, gameplay is phenomenal, and upgrading weapons has never felt so much satisfying, but what really killed this game is the story.… Expand
