    this game is basically a torture porn soap opera. it's all about love triangles and melodramatic nonsense, extremely contrived with a badly constructed narrative, plot-armor all over the place, way too many forced coincidiences, even in pivotal events in the story.

    it's bad enough as it is, as a standalone game, but in context of how brilliant the first game was, this is a travesty.

    that's is why the technical aspects like graphics or music can not redeem this game at all. it's a real shame that all the hard work that went into it was a big waste of everyone's time.

    it's a perfect example of how NOT to do a sequel and treat your fans. one of the most beloved franchises in gaming is most likely dead, and that's why I give this a 0/10.    … Expand

    I'd give it a 5 for gameplay and graphics but I see a lot of bs 10 reviews to defend the game so. I wrote a longer review but pressed back and I don't want to write it again but i encourage you to watch youtube reviews on this (angry joe for example) and most of them will give it a similar score and explain why. I hope this was the last part of this franchise.

    que por su historia vivía agarrando a balazos hasta a sus propios compañeros, destacar el ego de Neil Druckmann al ponerse a el mismo dentro del juego como personaje para terminar muriendo tiempo después, en Tlou 1 podías ir en sigilo para no gastar balas, sin embargo, aquí no pasa eso, es solo reventar a balazos a quien se te pase por enfrente.
    Al tratar de poner esa inclusión con abby se arruinaba ya que varias horas del juego te veías forzado a jugar con ella, y despues de un rato quedabas cómo CONCHETUMARE QUE SE ACABE LUEGO ESTA WEA, otro punto negativo son las lineas de tiempo y la poca coherencia entre estas ejemplo un año mas tarde 5 años antes etc    … Expand

Story doesn't have to be a fan service, but doing just what nobody wants isn't a good direction. If you loved the original, you want to avoid this.     Very politically charged and preachy. Very awesome moments in the story, but the convoluted timelines and the agenda the game doesnt subtly throw your way gets very exhausting. The main characters did not hold a candle to the main Character from the 1st iteration.

Just when you think that you get revenge the game forces you to play as Abby for at least 10h. Only reason i could play that part was the sweet revenge i hoped to get. They Try to make a deep and emotional game but they fail. Evrything that ame the Last of us 1 amazing was Gone here. One thing i must say is that the Gamplay was amazing and at least half of the game were you play as ellies was good... but then you get to play as Abby and all goo downhill fast. They try soo hard to make ellies looks bad and abby good and yet they even fail again and again. and the nerve to force you to play as Abby the killer of one of the most loved characther in gaming is mindblowing for me........… Expand

    OVERALL REVIEW: so I have completed the game and now I can say that I have played the worst game ever. They could have made it so much better but they went full drunk with this one. Almost half my gameplay was searching for the resources and collectibles. They have made it so bad that I don't think I am ever going to buy a naughty dog game again. The game is very very very slow. Sometimes it start to feel like they have needlessly stretched the gameplay just to make the overall game duration longer. I got so bored by this game I had to force myself to complete it for just knowing the ending.
    The ending was very bad.
    The overall game is very bad. I think this is the worst PS4 game ever.

    Todos sabemos que lo que hace a alguien o a algo (en este caso un juego) es su HISTORIA, por lo tanto, fue algo muy decepcionante encontrarme con una historia con desarrollo ilógico y mal manejado, era una increíble idea matar a joel, y por supuesto que si, de eso trata, pero la forma en que murió, y más aún en adelante en el desarrollo y final de la trama está MUY MAL LOGRADO.
    Pero bueno al final son videojuegos. Bueno y encima jugar con la antagonista y tratar de empatizar con ella haciendo "buenas acciones" y al final pelear contra la protagonista pues es que se arriesgaron mucho para hacer algo. En definitiva MUY MALA HISTORIA,
    Aplausos infinitos para los programadores, directores de audio, compositores de los soundtracks, modelado 3D de los personajes, diseñadores, en fin para todos los que hicieron realidad el juego con respecto a los gráficos, audio y diseño de personajes y el mundo virtual.

    Everything's great but the story. Was very disappointed. The amount of detail and graphics are amazing and the voice work and acting is just as good as the first one but the story just really kills it. Its not a bad story by itself but it just doesn't work as a continuation of the first one.

It doesnt matter how real life try to make it just was weak sauce. Anyone with an imagination would have a hard time with the terrible story telling it nearly put me to sleep during the dialogues.     Beautiful looking game nonetheless but probably not even worthy of the "Last of Us" title. Just doesn't feel as memorable as the original. Good thing I played a borrowed copy.

    technically excellent... but the script and the story are the worst I see in years... the radical feminist and lgtbi inclusion are very very forced...the game has A LOT OF filler... Abby... ahg... is a very bad character!

    Horrible game all round, the graphics are 2010 tier at best, and the story was somehow even worse than the first. dont buy this game unless you enjoy getting lectured all the way through. Also the gameplay is not good

    Admit it, gameplay is fine but story sucks. This is how you turn a good game to a good for nothing crap. I can see some people kinda like it cuz they're maybe new to the game but for most of those who still defend for it's boring and meanless story, stop being hyprocites.

Rather than continue the game from Ellie and Joel walking off in the sunset seeking shelter and a new life, it focuses on a homosexual relationship between Ellie and Dina after Dina has a fight with her BF and seeks refuge with Ellie. They also decided to kill off the main Protagonist, a seasoned survivor with a sharp eye and penchant to kill by a group of uncoordinated youth associated with the Fireflies. Joel gets beaten to a pulp in front of Ellie and she vows revenge on Abby, the Transexual ring leader.

    Ellie and naieve Dina go on this mission with a largely uninteresting dialogue and passive sexual innuendoes. Besides good graphics which are a given since the game was released years later, there's nothing else worth really appreciating here. If you found Left Behind lacking, this is worse.    … Expand

    Como ver o lado da Abby? Como sentir pena dela? O que ela perdeu na vida? O pai? Ver o Joel perdendo a FILHAA deu muuuito mais dó, do que ver a Abby chorando. Chega nem perto!
    Ela perdeu o ex namorado? BEM FEITO porque ela chifrou a amiga!... E só.. o resto dos "amigos" dela, são no MÁXIMO colegas distantes, já que vocês não tiveram capacidade de mostrar o quão importante aquelas pessoas eram pra Abby... Atropelaram a história, ao invés de contar direito os fatos.. e fazendo isso, não deu tempo de sentir pena da Abby, que brutalmente ASSASSINOU covardemente o Joel no mesmo dia que o Joel salvou a vida dela.
    Essa história é uma sobrevivência, que mostra o quão injusto é esse mundo... Da próxima vez que forem alterar o sentido de uma franquia. Por favor avisem antes, pq assim eu não compro esse lixo..
