As a fan of the first game I was very VERY excited to play this game until the leaks were released, ignoring the leaks I still decided to get this game and boy do I regret it, this game did everything possible to anger the fans of the original game to the point of disrespecting the original characters. Gameplay is pretty linear, in fact it feels more like if you're watching a movie not playing a game. The game is a bit buggy at certain areas, the story itself lacks effort, seems the writers weren't so creative on this one, new characters aren't that interesting and you can't attach to them as quickly as the first. I think this game was rushed and sadly they decided to to go with profit instead of quality. I know many people will disagree and claim that the negative toward this game it's the diversity and politics within the game but that's wrong many people are in fact criticizing the game because of its lacking story and the Disrespect towards the original characters. People accepted and loved Ellie when she was announced as an lgbtq+ character and people loved the sequels trailer and her relationship with dina this, this disappointment isnt because of that but it's because of how this story was written. If you are a fan of this game and you still want to play it I suggest you buy it but go in with low expectations, don't expect a story with the same immersion and captivating experience as the first… Expand

    TLOU 1 was about a person who lost everything and through a harrowing adventure relearns to love again and also decides the fate of the human race, just one of the best stories ever told.

When you create a game, you expect players to have some kind of agenda towards the game, some motivation for them to play. When you motivate players to start playing the game, because they hate it and want revenge for the character they love – that is a failure from the start. Players won’t appreciate even the most polished game, when they hate the motivation to play it.

    As a player, I have to care about the game to play it, now I don’t. The point of the whole thing is to be excited to play the game. To be exited of gameplay complementing the story. To be exited to go all the way through along with your character to see how it ends. I’m not exited already. And I won’t be, knowing that the ending goal is to meet someone who killed the character I liked. I don’t even want to continue the story now. No excitement at all. I just feel miserable.

    I hate Abby and I don’t care about her actions being justified towards Joel. This was never black and white matter. This was always about picking sides. And I pick the side of characters I like. I hate that game forces me to try sympathize with Abby and even force me to play her. The game is done for me the same moment I had to start playing Abby. I will refund this garbage.    … Expand

    Я даже не буду писать про ЛГБТ повестку, и прочие SJW высеры, которыми напичкана вся игра, это итак понятно и лежит на поверхности.
    Сам сюжет - унылейшая параша. Худшее что могло быть. Самая НЕЛЕПАЯ смерть ГГ за всю историю игропрома, замена цвета кожи врача на белую (в первой части хирург был черным который погиб в конце игры), играете за непропорциональную мужиподобную бабищу, интереса абсолютно нет играть. Отсутствие выбора в конце игры.

But having Ellie let Abby go in the end completely ruins the game. Dont even get me started on having to play as Abby. The game is trash, and you should never buy it. La verdad es que cualquiera podría pensar que hubo Lobby con el tema del "progresismo con este juego, pero seamos sinceros, desde el TLOU2 se sabía que Ellie era Lesbi, personalmente no me molesta que lo sea y creo que a nadie le debiera importar. O sea como dice mi abuela, debería importarte una raja lo que una persona se meta por el culo. El problema es que está muy... MUY forzado. Es como si te trataran de estúpido, cosa que evidentemente está mal, porque estamos hablando de el motivo del porqué estás jugando al TLOU2, porque seguramente vienes de jugar el 1 y quedaste con ganas de saber qué cresta ha pasado. ¿Era necesario hacerlo de esa manera? ¿Tan dificil fue hacer que no se sintiese forzado?

    Con el tema de la historia y las filtraciones, nuevamente fue un golpe en las pelotas. Sabíamos que Joel moriría pero... eso ocurre muy pronto!!! Es entonces el real propósito del juego? hacer que Ellie cobre venganza ante un personaje que la prensa NO QUISO Hablar o dar a conocer?? Y para rematar dicha venganza ni ocurre, Le perdona la vida a alguien que prácticamente fue su papá y el por qué la gente quería jugar al condenado juego.

    Estoy en Shock, por último haberse demorado un poquito más en dar la opción a lo tell tale games de decidir si "vive o muere" al menos, pero ya desperdiciaron la oportunidad y lo peor es que hay más que contar, pero se me hará largo la review y no quiero que sea mucho texto.

    Apartado gráfico: Bueno, nada que decir, queda por debajo a otras entregas pero los gráficos en mi opinión me importa poco, mientras que su jugabilidad sea bueno y entretenido. Está bien.

    Jugabilidad: Más de lo mismo, sigilo, muertes que pareciera que debes sentirte mal por matar a los humanos, que los infectados basicamente son un segundo plano nomás, acá lo importante es echarse a los humanos. Violencia siempre ha tenido este juego en todo caso, pero igual es muy lineal, en TLOU1 te motivaba ver por ejemplo qué cosas hacía ellie y lo que dice, lo que revisa, estar atento, pero acá no existe eso, exploración en un mundo lineal muy bajo.

    Música... bueh... en mi opinión no supera al 1 en este aspecto.

    En terminos generales incluso puedes sentir que es como si lo hubiesen desarrollado dos grupos distintos, es muy rara esa sensación y para los que lo hayan jugado se habrán dado cuenta.

    Si sumara todo los aspectos tanto positivos como negativos que he mencionado, debiera poner una nota 2 como mucho, pero dado a que la prensa vendida tuvo que mentirnos a nosotros, los que dimos dinero al comprar este juego para que nos dieran una especie de clases de moralidad, simplemente es una patada en el trasero con punta de acero y con púas, la muerte de Joel para los fans será horrible y su conclusión creerás que te están bromeando, pero no lo es, ya no decir que no sé si por temas de dinero por parte de sony hacia la prensa, omitieron información muy importante sobre el juego, cosa que duele porque al final no puedes confiar en quienes se suponen deben ser personas a quienes debes de confiar en su palabra. Ya no son confiables.

    Lamentablemente igual hacen reviewer bombing por parte de que existe una minoría que les molesta esto de los SJW pero son eso, poca gente, acá el tema es a cómo destruyeron una historia que bien podría haber sido una obra maestra.

    Debieran ser más honestos. Por eso debo no ponerles el 2, sino un 0.

    Neil Druckmann pissed all over this franchise. This game did not need a sequel, and it really shows when it comes to the plot. The graphics and game play are at least what you'd expect from a triple A studio, but god damn does this story just suck the farts out of my **** Do not buy.

    If I had to describe TLOU2 in one word it would be, lacking.

    The game play is still as clunky as the first part, no improvement.

    The characterization /development of pc/npcs is just flat and plump, from Naughty Dog one can expect way better.

    The story is way too simple and underdeveloped.

    One word: LACKING

    Graphics are beautiful, perhaps the prettiest I've seen on consoles yet, but It's a known fact that Naughty Dog follows a disgusting crunch work policy that needs to stop ASAP.
    And although it's beautiful, said beauty does NOT save the game from its poorly written, badly paced overly convoluted story. The fact that we are forced to try and empathize with the previous protagonist's killer while watching every cherished character suffer a horrible fate makes it feel like this game's screenwriters wanted players to forcibly like Abby and dislike everyone before her. I don't see how anyone would think thought selling this crappy product was ok. I'm expecting a chance to get my money back    … Expand

I am honestly thinking about getting counseling for how terrible this game is. It messes with you too. There is no character growth, and no resolution its all around depressing in the end. Part 1 left you with hope for the future, i literally only finished it to satisfy my own curiosity. I saw the abismal user ratings before i played it but i thought hey maybe its bots... its not bots its bad. Not worth playing or buying. Just do yourself a favor and dont play it.     As tramas parecem série pra pré adolescente, a mina não quer ir com o cara pq a namorada dele ta com ciume // a Ellie fica em conflito pq a namorada dela ta gravida do ex.. por um momento pensei que estava assistindo glee ou alguma serie merda pra menina de 14 anos.
    O ápice da merda foi no final em quem a Ellie passa o jogo inteiro atrás de vingança pq uma NPC matou o protagonista do game anterior de forma horrível, a Ellie simplesmente deixa a vilã ir embora sem mais nem menos. Literalmente a mina espanca a namorada da Ellie grávida, mata o melhor amigo dela, quase mata o Tommy (que é um tio pra ela) e mata a pessoa que largou tudo pra cuidar dela como fosse a própria filha dele e ainda arranca dois dedos da Ellie, isso tudo e ela deixa a mina ir sem motivo algum.
    Além disso os personagens são mau desenvolvidos, eles morrem e nunca mais são citados, são completamente esquecidos.
    Desrespeito com o primeiro jogo que é uma obra prima, The last of us 2 é realmente jogo realmente lamentável.    … Expand

    Трудно передать словами какое это разочарование. Грубо говоря в этой игре замечательно все, кроме слитого в ноль сюжета и что мне особенно было не приятно так это играть за эбби, какого черта меня заставили играть за это?. Первую часть проходил 3 раза останавливаясь на всех катсценах и скрытых диалогах Элли и Джоэла это было незабываемо и тут выходит вторая часть и вот бы оно долгожданное продолжение, но фанатам просто плюнули в лицо. Судя по оценкам ни один я такого мнения. Не понятно на что надеялись сценаристы заставляя нас играть за эбби (у меня это вызывало отвращение) пытаясь показать что она как-бы не плохой человек, но какого черта? Зачем этот левый персонаж? люди ждали эту игру что-бы поиграть за знакомых им героев которые нам полюбились, понаблюдать за их перепалками и развитием их отношений как отца и дочери так сказать=) Единственные не многие моменты в игре когда я залипал так это флэшбэки с Джоэлем. А про слитую концовку игры так тут вообще трудно что либо говорить, Элли всю игру пыталась отомстить, бросила всех и в финале просто слилась "вот это поворот" ИМХО нету в этом ни какой морали это просто слив! Как я улыбнулся когда в конце показали эбби, вот что значит когда перестаешь курсить, ну вы поняли о чем я=) Почему нельзя было сделать право выбора убивать эбби или нет? это хоть как-то бы сгладило впечатления от игры. А если бы еще можно было выбирать не играть за эбби то я бы простил многие косяки.
    Увы мы имеем то что имеем, нынешняя тенденция с толерантностью и трендами погубила сценаристов, это дошло до кино и вот теперь и до игр, всю игру прослеживался след новомодных веяний, типа бодипозитива и.т.д. поубивали большую часть мужских персонажей, я не простив ГГ девушки просто тут на столько все вычурно что аж подташнивает. Я тут многое не стал описывать а то не дай бог забанят, тут уже терли комментарии под этой игрой. В общем политиканству быть в играх.
    Графина на уровне, геймплэй нормально, нечего нового но эта игра не про это.
    Лучше бы вторая часть и вовсе не выходила это было невыносимо мерзко. Первая часть Last Of Us на всегда останется в моей библиотеке игр! А это постараюсь забыть как страшный сон. Все выше сказанное это мое субьективное мнение.    … Expand

They made it very, very clear that Ellie was going to endure an incredible loss at the hands of a new enemy, and that the entire plot of the game would be based around her desire for retribution. ND also spoke a lot about how revenge affects those around you, how it can turn into a cycle, they wanted you to feel sympathy for those you were hurting, etc etc.

    I watched Abby bash Joel's head in with a golf club, and I thought there was no way I would buy into that narrative for a single moment, because this random character that we've known for ten minutes killed one of my favorite characters in one of the most brutal ways possible. I wanted her dead. I wanted revenge just as much as Ellie did. I was ready to kill every NPC in my path.

    By the end of the game, this isn't what I wanted at all. In fact, I didn't know what I wanted. I just knew that I wanted all of them to stop hurting and finally get the peace they deserved.

    Without going into too much detail about Abby, I couldn't stand her at the beginning. I didn't want to play as her. I didn't want to "grow to like her". I wanted to find her and I wanted to strangle her for taking Joel away from us. And then they delved into her backstory, they forced us into her shoes, and I found myself breaking under that strain. For all that I had insisted I wouldn't find sympathy for her, I did.

    TLOU2 was, once again, a masterclass in storytelling, just as its predecessor was. It was thought provoking, gut wrenching, and so heartbreakingly melancholy at times I found myself crying at the happier moments more than the grief. I can't imagine it being written any other way, and I adore this game with all of my heart. They truly outdid themselves in subverting the tropes of a heavily saturated genre.    … Expand

    El gameplay y los graficos son lo mejor del juego, admito que la jugabilidad y maneras de interactuar con el entorno son buenas, pero por eso mismo, le quitaria todo lo que tenga que ver con The Last Of Us II y seria un buen juego.

    If you play games for their combat and graphics, then you will love this game but if you care at all about the point of the game and the storyline. then you will be extremely dissapointed.
    Just imagine playing as the character that kills your favorite character. it's a complete waste of time.
    Also why did i kill all of those people if i'm going to forgive Abby in the end? how is that justified?`

I am not anymore, I regret buying the game. and I don't care anymore if will be part 3 or not. in mean time, I am not interested in Naughty dog games anymore.
