    It's trash. Pure trash. I don't know what Druckmann was thinking. Years and years of hype and THIS is what came of it. It's heartless, cynical, boring, and at times quite sadistic. There was a clear agenda when this game was made and NONE of it was out of love and affection for the player, the key person who is paying for this garbage.

    Drop dead gorgeous graphics, animation, wonderful performances from Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson and wonderful cast who brings their A game. Gameplay is more refined and more options available. Story wise is a complete mess and treats it’s characters like garbage. The plot relies on shock values and its character make dumb decisions. You are then    I played through the whole thing.

    This is just sad, the last of us is and will be always in my heart, i loved the old naughty dog studio and what they did, i loved Amy Hennig's work while she was in naughty dog. This game is an insult to all fans who loved the last of us and the emotions they felt with that beautiful story that could now be something wonderful. Just sad.

    I'm not entirely sure how a sequel to one of the best games ever can come out and be this terrible. The gameplay is fine, although there is a bit too much of the walking/talking. The graphics are amazing. But the story and what they have done to beloved characters from the first game might be some of the worst writing and decision making I've witnessed in the industry.

We waited 7 years for a game you destroyed in 40 minutes of gameplay...you completely contradicted Joel as a character and the story line was pretty random. For me, Abby taking revenge for her dad who was one of the surgeons was just a bit boring. I wasn’t interested in playing it after a while just because the story line wasn’t keeping my attention. Beautiful game& graphics but the story ruined it so badly. Also, the new shambler is literally identical to a bloater? You teased us the return of Joel,new types of zombies& a great story line that showed Ellie taking some sort of revenge..     However, as a game it falls flat: animation that is not scripted sewms stuk in the 90's. The story of this game is complete garbage. Time and Money wasted. If you didn't play the first one, it might not bother you that much. But if you did play the first one and liked it, this part 2 is disgraceful. Very disappointing. Killing Joel this way was a bad move.     I bought this game without hearing any of the rumors that were floating around apparently. Started playing and just got tired of being beat over the head with the wokeness. After hours of being wokedified it tries to have a story only to destroy key aspects of past characters. 3 hours in I just quit. Anyone wanna buy it real cheap. No, for real. Like Anthem cheap.

    I feel like I was betrayed and stabbed in the back. I cringed in the start, I am half way through the game and still cringing. Each step feels like the knife is being twisted and dugs deep in my heart. The environmental looks good but the pain does not stop. I feel nauseous.

    I hate to press the hit button but I had to press it.
    I couldn't focus on the character (because I didn't want to be the character)
    and the game was bored.

    Someone might see this game artistic. But I cannot forgive this game at all.

The game misses the most important thing that makes a TLOU game a TLOU game: STORYTELLING The game still has amazing dialogues, but that means nothing when the whole narrative is filled with plot holes. On top of that there is almost 0 innovation in TLOU2 gameplay whise, it’s basically the same game with a visual upgrade and a plot downgrade + it pushes several nonsensical agendas which don’t belong in a post apocalyptic game and for the most part not in any game period.

    The only reason I am not giving this game a 0/10 is the amazing work the art and sound teams did and I don’t want to disrespect their and ONLY their work. Overall the game is a 4/10 because of that for me.

    Edit: I‘ve changed my mind. Because they are blacklisting Metacritic to block bad reviews it’s a 0/10 for me. They even removed some negative reviews. Corruption at its finest.    … Expand

Disclaimer I thought more about this than I should and vented twice to my parents, (who don’t play games) I am grading this purely on the story. The visuals are beautiful the clickers and stealth gameplay are still pretty fun, even if the AI are **** dumb or dead eye shots on and off. The story was absolutely trash that is why i am grading this and hopefully helping someone save 60 dollars and 20 plus hours of their life
    I knew they were going to kill Joel, because god forbid they make a second game with both characters. But the fact they **** this up this Badly is mid boggling.
    I liked the first 10hrs with flash backs of Joel
    Why didn’t they keep doing that AND MAKE JOEL PLAYABLE IN THOSE PARTS.
    Instead they make you play half the game as a character I actively want dead and follow a **** redemption arc, for what? You think it’s going to make me like her? It didn’t. I wanted her dead from beginning to end. Then you make me use her to fight Elle?
    Absolutely trash.
    Then I thought they were going to save it at the very end and kill her and they **** it again to just end Elle by herself minus 2 fingers. This is as absolute trash story telling as the last episode of Dexter.
    I would have given this game a 0 for story but for people who don’t care about Joel or Elle they may enjoy the mechanics and style of game play.

    Pear told me that after he played this game grapefruit tried to have gay anal sex with him just like the main characters in this game. Grapefruit is now in prison and pear is receiving intensive therapy because of the trauma it caused him.

    El juego muy lindo en gráfica. Pero yo lo compre por qué quería una buena historia como el 1. Que maten a Joel de la forma que lo hicieron es indigno. Además ND me engaño con los trailers.     The game’s audio and visual body of work is amazing. There is 1 good scene in the game and it is a flashback. This is a clearly visible sign the main story is weak. Absolutely horrible storytelling and they took constant cheap shots at you.

    Terrible story, Asian discrimination, black live Matter Yellow live no matter, director and editor is such a SWJ! Force people spent 7 years for this pathetic game, waste my money and time! I won’t buy any game ever from Naughty Dog, it’s disappointing and disgusting. This company and vice President Neil Druckmann make me sick!

    It has the same gameplay of the 1st game and the expected graphics of a PS4 game: 5 points.

    It butchered an already developed character (pun intended) and has a sub par plot riddled with identity politics. Its a game that feels nothing like the 1st: -5 points.

The story, being the main part of this game, is a joke and garbage. neil **** definitely thought he would impress anita with this hot garbage. Never purchasing anything from this company again.     Estragaram a continuação, esperava que continuaria com a mesma trama, e não uma propaganda politica em forma de produto. Realmente lamentavel o que fizeram com os personagens, pegaram tudo que construiram no primeiro e jogaram no lixo! Lamentável acabar com uma série dessas.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
