    i have already finished the game and all that i can say is that it has the worst story i have ever seen, it makes you feel bad from the beginning to the end, i can even say that it has ruined the end of the last of us pt 1,

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Except for the flashbacks with Joel, this game is a joke. Ellie acts like nothing happened, she isn't even shaken by what happened to Joel. She just acts casually and always composed throughout the story. The fact that Joel entered that shed casually is a disgrace on its own, let alone the fact how he died. He didn't even know why he died. We didn't know, for something like 17 hours. We had to play with the character we hated for 8 hours. Characters were shallow, dialogue was bad. Gameplay and graphics is not everything Naughty Dog but story is. You might have a really flawed game but if the story is good, people will tolerate it. But if your story is something like a fanfiction, well you know what happens if that is the case. You had an amazing universe to expand on and you completely ruined it with this game. It seems you didn't even understand what made the first game special and what made it work. And that ending, oh god... Did any of you read this script before you green lit it? Anyway, I hope now you guys realized paying for reviews for your incredibly badly written game won't save you. From the bottom of my heart, I hope you guys get what you deserve for ruining this amazing franchise and trying to con people with paid reviews.… Expand

If you want to kill his character off fine, but give his character the respect he EARNED the way the story went about it is a complete mess of incompetent writing. The ending is even worse than all the leaks. A revenge tale that ends with no revenge and leaves everyone playing confused and unsatisfied. The way the story completely annihilated Ellie’s character is one of the biggest disappointments of the gaming industry. These story writers should never be allowed to work on another game again. It is an absolute tragedy that after seven years this is what fans got. Shame on all of you.… Expand

I’ll keep playing the first one and pretend they left it at that. And no this has nothing to do with the gay and trans characters the story is just that crap. How are you gonna kill off Joel?     Graphic and technical gameplay are good but for me these are not enough to make it a good game. Really boring...

It's been done so many times and it almost always backfires. But some writers will never learn I guess. Also, tricking the fans by showing a whole different story in the trailers and making them hyped up about it is a real **** move. Я нормально отнёсся (ещё в 2013 году), что Элли не гетеросексуалка, потом я заметил на горизонте видную мускулистую "даму" - Эбби, уже гетеросексуальную, но с явными признаками феминизма. Последней каплей для написания столь низкого отзыва стал, ВНИМАНИЕ, ТРАНСГЕНДЕР ПОДРОСТОК С АЗИАТСКОЙ ВНЕШНОСТЬЮ!!! Вы серьёзно?!!! Игра и так прописано темой с меньшинствами, а тут все в одном флаконе, осталось только на инвалидную коляску посадить этого подростка и он пройдет собеседование в любою европейской компании на любую позицию (а может его уже посадили за инвалидное кресло, я пока, к сожалению игру не допрошел, сил моральных все меньше и меньше).     Storywise this game is completely terrible and spits on what made the last game great, Joel and Ellie. Considering that this is practically a (somewhat) interactive film as the gameplay is monotonous the story is the only thing that could save this game. Overall, extremely disappointing, I couldn't bring me to play after one of the character's deaths

    Never have I ever seen a game with such poor writing. I’m a writer myself, and seeing such awful writing makes me want to gouge my own eyes out. Triple A games are a **** joke, don’t buy into this **** excuse for a game. I can only hope this game is buried in the sands of time, never to be spoken of again.

They never said anything about it. That's when you know it's really **** up situation that bootlickers don't mention it and pretends it doesn't exist. And whining that negative reviews are wrong and ignoring and saying they ain't allowed to feel traumatized, anger, and hate.
    Oh and bootlickers most likely don't care.
    They can like it, but doesn't mean I have to like it. Vice versa for them.
    I'm not sure why they're ignoring Ellie's trauma and PTSD will be having.

And when it comes to last of us, everyone knows that the story is very important. First of all, the most frustrating issue was that the game attempted to empathize with the killer Abby after Joel's brutal and tortured murder. At the very beginning of the game, they forced the most hated character in the game for 10 hours. During this time, Abby's endearing efforts were also noticeable. Abby loves dogs, helps people, and she love a guy so??. I just hated these moves. and someone other than dozens of problems; love triangles.. Ellie loves Dina but Dina is pregnant from Jesse, Abby loves Owen but Mel is pregnant from Owen.. such a good netflix story. In short, all of these attempts to have empathy only angered me.     The disappointment I have with this game is unimaginable. The story isn't just bad, it's horrendous because of the way the developers spat in the faces of fans. 5 years people have been waiting for the game, and unfortunately Naughtydog simply didn't give a **** The Last of us 2 is and will forever be a shameless cash grab and nothing more. If I was able to kill her at the end the same way you get to kill Zeus, and Ellie didn't get her fingers bit off I would give the game a least an 8/10 but they ruined it. Naughty dog used to be one of my favorite video game developers but they just lost a fan. They ruined one of my favorite games. It's a revenge story without revenge I don't care if they wanted to get their revenge is bad story across, it's just a bad dissatisfying story that literally made me depressed after.     As a huge fan of the original game, and more importantly the original characters, this game is just so bad. The graphics are a amazing, the gameplay is about the same, but the story is god aweful, and in a game all about story that just breaks its very foundations hence the score of 0. I honestly wish I had never play it.

The atrocity that was supposed to be one of the greatest games, goes down as one of the worst forms of media entertainment I have ever experienced! They kill off Joel, in the most juvenile way, then make you play 80% of the game as his killer. Then with that character you have to fight Ellie. They made Ellie and Joel complete bad guys and what you to fall in love and side with this Abby character, who has no depth or likeness to her at all. Not to mention she beats Joel to death within the first hour of the game but we are just supposed to side with her and care about what drives her? And to care and understand why she killed him? We are here for Joel and Ellie, to experience the amazing bond and story between them! Not to mention that Abby is terribly written. I did not care at all about her. And the ending Ellie lets her go.. kills everyone else. But let’s the main character who **** up her life go and be happy. Joel, Ellie, and the huge community behind the first last of us, we all deserved better. Neil should be ashamed of himself.… Expand

I don't think it serves any other purpose than making the fanbase feel wanna vomit and disguised. We all know how cautious and smart Joel is from TLOU1, here he straight up tells a group of strangers his real name? Excuse me???? OK, I think it needs a little bit explanation why Joel has become a IQ nagative 100 guy in this game. Another thing, Abby killed Joel right after he saved her life --- with no hesitation? That does count as something right? The way he was killed is unnecessarily cruel. Really cheap shock value. Then the game doesn't stop going wose, and Abby is like "Yeah, I murdered Joel like a puppy, come and get me! NO F YOU, you don't get to do anything to me cuz the genius writer will make you spare me for whatever ****** reason only pickles would understand. Bonus, you have to play as me ^^" why the heck would I want to play as her? Oh, two sides of character? Sorry I'm good, if there's any sophistication in the characters in TLOUS2, it's because the story is so poorly written, and nothing in the game progression makes any sense. The guy who leaked the story is a hero, he was trying to save you 60 bucks.

    Overall, TLOUS2 is a solid 0/10 for me. Although it's a decent game in all the other aspects, it was supposed to be the sequel of TLOUS. Its hostile disrespect towards the previous game disguises me to an immeasurable extend. Even a 0.1/10 is no no from me.    … Expand

Hi everyone, I am a big fan of the TLOU Pt1 it’s one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played and I was really excited to see the 2nd part, the beginning of it was ok, but after Joel’s death it became too difficult to play it, it’s like you got hit or slap in a face, I felt emptiness and sadness during whole game.... 2nd part ruined all positive and warm feelings about Joel’s and Ellie’s relationship, there are too much misunderstandings from Ellie...it’s horrible...how they could do that to him...after all this years of waiting...what they were thinking about???...what the hell?!?!...I just want to forget this piece of crap!!!

    The gameplay was very good but repetitive even the things that should catch you off guard happened a bunch of times, to the point of me anticipating them.
    The graphics are amazing. The sound is phenomenal. The storyline and character development are trash.

    Con:you cant freely choose what you want to upgrade using pills.

    The Last of Us is my all time favorite game. The sequel ruins everything I loved about the original. I have no interest playing as the character that kills off the main characters of the original game. I destroyed my copy after completing the game. Worst money ever spent.
