    The gameplay was a meh experience its an improvement on the first game but its just too boring and repetitive the stealth is just too generic the graphics look amazing on the current generation but the biggest problem in this game is the story, a lot of plotholes, it didnt achieve anything but just revenge is bad the ending didnt make sense at all what a waste of a sequel

    Damn. After the 1st game I was worried this game could never be as good, but I am so happy to say that this game went beyond my expectations.
    Great story, brilliant characters, superb voice acting.
    The pacing is a bit slow in the beginning but it picks up, the gameplay has improved alot since the 1st game, especially the combat. The whole experience was simply amazing and emotional.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. bien vayamos punto por punto aun siendo un juego con agenda,politico o de subversion (como lo quieras llamar) el juego principalmente trata de venganza entre niñas trans una mata al protagonista de la anterior parte,mientras la otra trata de matar al que mato al protagonista (este habiendo sido idiotizado totalmente en esta 2 parte) al buscar venganza la prota se carga cientos de (mayoritariamente) gente blanca... cuando el juego llega al final la prota se pregunta si esta bien matar a la que mato al protagonista,pues esta decide que no asi que la deja ir,vaya disonancia cognitiva jaja

    los personajes y su desarrollo son nulos se resume en que son pseudo esteriotipos de minorias y ya

    en el apartado tecnico y ambiental en relacion al entorno esta bastante decente,dejando de lado en algunas partes las texturas penosas que van negativamente en contraste con lo demas,la jugabilidad aunque la mayor parte este scripteada esta vistosa lo cual le suma y resta

    en conclusion el estudio o sus dirigentes claramente no quieren vender esto a los fans de la primera parte,no solo eso sino que el juego esta plagada de agenda sjw de subversion,politica o como la quieras llamar,de manera directa e indirecta si te fijas en los detalles,si querian vender esto a minorias deberion anunciarlo con antelacion

    Sinceramente, é um jogo com gráficos realmente bons, um bom áudio, entretanto tem inúmeros pontos negativos. Desde bugs, quase á nível FIFA, á história do jogo. Sem relevar os personagens, o enredo não é tão bom quanto o do primeiro jogo, e deixou a desejar em muita coisa. (E infelizmente muitos são enganados pela empresa) É possível fazer um jogo ótimo com uma boa história, personagens que retratem movimentos, como lésbicas, gays e minorias como Life Is Strange, sem apelar para o populismo em massa.     Но так как я лицемерная мразь, как и все игровое сообщество, то выскажу свое мнение которое сложилось по впечатлениям от летсплеев, стримов и первых 15 часов собственной игры.

    Графен - 9/10: не шедевр , но каждая сцена достойна шума плойки
    Сюжет - 10/10: я обажаю кровавые роад муви , при чем с жаждой мести и насилием, которое адекватно обосновано (это кстати кор игры и в него не пробралось СЖВ)
    Геймплей - 8/10: я ждал прорыва, но получил отшлифованый The Last of Us 1 , чем от части доволен
    Персонажи - 7/10 : ни один фильм , ни одна игра еще не расскрывались всех персонажей , которых ввели. Вы понимаете мотивацию, почему они стали такими и как они пришли к своей жизни. Даже если он гей, то это пояснено так, что ЛГБТ+ сообществу это не понравится и это прекрасно. Элли мой личный фаворит - такие эмоции могут появится у девочки, только если она росла в постап-се.
    Технологичность - 5/10: мы ограничены поколением , по-этому новых вещей вы не увидите , все было в других игра от собак либо же в недавней рдр2.

    Итог - 10, сделаю вид, что я не знаю математику как прочие люди, но я поставлю 10 , чтоб поднять рейтинг игры этого года. Геймеры - лицемеры, и эта игра доказывает это. Все ставят нули, но 500к+ зрителей на твиче, что с вами не так?
    Игру я перепройду как минимум раз и желаю всем пекарям, чтоб игры следующего поколения у них не запускались.    … Expand

Es imposible tragarse el final de Ellie perdonando a Abby por el simple hecho de que es contradictorio con el gameplay y los sucesos de la historia, como jugadores no nos quedaremos satisfechos con esa conclusión, aquí si hubiera estado genial una opción de "matar o perdonar".
    ND no supo llevar una historia de manera decente y como dije, el juego a pesar de no ser malo si va a amargarle el día a más de uno por lo decepcionante que es, con un final contradictorio y poco satisfactorio no puedo creer el 10/10. Que este suceso sirva de experiencia para aquellos que se fían demasiado de la crítica "especializada" que claramente no es objetiva.    … Expand

Não é um jogo pra todos, não é um jogo perfeito, é um jogo nota 10 que pode ser considerado o melhor de todos os tempos. É preciso ter maturidade pra entender e depois você ira penceber o quão é incrível. Apenas aprecie essa obra de arte.O jogo é incrivel...     I remember back in PS3 days TLoU came and we had a gorgeous looking game with a great story line and characters to connect to. Emotional and endearing. On the other hand we have TLoU2; After playing several hours I came to the conclusion that the world is stunning, the graphics are awesome and the dark mood is there bu that's all there is to it.. I felt that Joel and Ellie were the polarI remember back in PS3 days TLoU came and we had a gorgeous looking game with a great story line and characters to connect to. Emotional and endearing. On the other hand we have TLoU2; After playing several hours I came to the conclusion that the world is stunning, the graphics are awesome and the dark mood is there bu that's all there is to it.. I felt that Joel and Ellie were the polar opposite compared to the first part, dumb decisions (from Joels part mainly, becoming so trusting to others) and many more that ruined the feeling from me. I think that ND took a risk by getting in a different perspective for the story that didn't work out at least for me.… Expand

    So I didn't buy game, but got a handme down someone gave me bc they just couldn't play anymore. So I played for a couple hours and just could not do it either. Great graphics is all I can say that is positive, seriously. It's a shame to bc everyone in 2016 was stoked. But the level of disrespect has hit an all high with this story telling and character assassination.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game in my opinion, has always been a story heavy game. The gameplay and multiplayer from the first game was great but so was the story. Last of Us 2 on the other hand doesn't do anything new. The Last of Us 2 feels like a launch title for a next gen console not a wholesome release. It just does little ingame cinematic/ animation things that add to the realism but also just feel like they are trying to show off the graphics, but at the end of the consoles life cycle. Why?

    The animations and graphics do look great though so I'm giving it 2 points but everything else falls flat. Joel dying was the dumbest thing to do. At least let us discover why he lied in detail and what it did to him as a person that he knew he was conflicted because he was constantly lying to someone he loved. Instead we get dumb vague flashbacks 500 times to explain things we know from the first 15 mins... Then they retell the same story as the first game, having the same motive about how far would you go to save someone. It's just instead of save its replaced with avenge. Then you play as Abby for like 80% of the game. That's awful. I dont want to play as the "villain" I get what they were doing with the story but that doesnt mean it's not a waste. If you scrap Abbys backstory and crap and just have Ellie you have a game that lasts 30 mins. Then the more I thought about it the more I realised the game isnt even that good looking. You have had 7 years to make this thing and it barely surpasses the 1st game on an old gen consoles hardware. So I am dropping it to a 1 star and no I wont talk about the game being progressive because this political crap in games is upsetting me. I appericate everything they did. But holy crap this feels forced.

    The Last of Us Part 1 is one of my all-time favorite games. But after just a few hours of play, calling The Last of Us Part 2 disappointing would be an understatement. The story is terrible and the gameplay is just straight-up boring. Might legit see if I can get a refund, because there's no way I'm playing this all the way through.

I think that a lot (not all, not the majority) of the hate is just homophobic **** I totally respect people that give a negative opinion with well based ideas and I’m happy that everyone can express their opinion, but when i read “just LGBTQ propaganda”
    or “gay agenda” i think that is just pure hate without context. Again, i understand people that don’t love the story or the gameplay, but rating 0 just for “a political view”, or in general rating anything without experiencing it before is just immoral.

    Personally i really loved the game, the death of Joel was really upsetting for me, but you get the chance to see him quite often in the game.
    The gameplay was pretty similar of the part 1 honestly; visual and audio were phenomenal, wow.

    P.S. Stop, Abby is not transgender (Even if she was it wouldn’t have been a problem obviously).

Abby could've been a straight male, female, black, white, indian or asian character. But its still the worst character idea ever. Do you think political or moral opinions are worthy in an apocalyptic world? No! Im playing a videogame about surviving in a world filled with infecteds, not a Lesbian Girl with Bipolar Disorder Simulator. Joel, one of the most iconic characters ever... nobody wants to play as him right? Of course not! We waited 7 years just to see him die in the coldest way possible! And we don't even get a revenge! We go with the need of killing Abby, but save Abby for a few seconds, then ask Abby to fight or we kill Abby's buddy, we get an unnecessary fight and right before killing Abby, boom : Bipolar Disorder, and we let Abby escape. We even lose 2 fingers against Abby like what the actual f-. Anyways, i don't feel bad for it. Joel wasn't even Joel anymore. He went from a clever grown man strong enough to take care of an entire army to the typical resentful dad that did something to his kid and falls on any scam. Thats the main reason of why he died. Graphics are shocking and all, the sounds are orgasmic and thr gameplay is still frenetic, but the story was written by a group of monkeys, and the leader was some LGBT or SJW representative...that was also a monkey. Playing as Abby didn't make me or anybody else sympathize with her/him. This game tried way too hard to be "politically correct" and the critic reviews also do. Playing as Abby feels 100% forced and you have to conduct things as Abby that are forced. I didn't even like Abby yet I am being forced to carry out actions against characters I enjoyed playing and want to succeed. It's like watching Rob Zombies 31 and not caring if any of the protagonists die because you cannot stand any of them.

    I'd rather go back to playing the first game and enjoy the development versus playing this again. I literally hated the forced narrative and essentially destroying characters I built in the previous game. Yuck    … Expand

The game brings far left political narrative that don't belong in the entertainment industry, but somehow it did. This not only made the game toxic but also ruined the overall experience. The combat was dull and so easy that it didn't bring any fun or memorable action sequences that I would of loved to seen. Their difficult setting is among the best I seen but AI still tend to be easy at its max difficulty. Overall the game ruins everything that was amazing of the first game and creates a horrible, boring, and non creative experience. It has stunning graphics, and anyone who played the first game will be pleased to know not much of the gameplay has changed. The biggest draw I felt was the progressive theme that really had a lasting impact on me. White men were mostly done away with in the story, with strong female leads taking the reins. This game is also a landmark in achievement; featuring what I believe is the first transgender love scene in gaming history. The game is a milestone in dark storytelling, where you shouldn't expect to be happy with your circumstances at any point in the game. In fact, by the end, I was wondering just what kind of emotional pain the developers were intending to inflict upon me by the end of the long path of depression. If you want an incredibly inclusive narrative that puts bigots right where they belong, check this game out!     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I will make this a non-spoiler review, and I actually have almost finished the game. I want to give my specific perspective of where I am coming from, so you truly know I am not a BOT or some kind of review troll. I'm just a normal gamer that loved the first game, and wants to review the second one now.

    Me: I am a female gamer, and I greatly support LGBT/trans rights and have no issues at all with any of that kind of stuff in any game, so I want to be very clear about that point. Maybe others overly like or dislike the game because of this kind of thing, but I'm only discussing the game in as objective a way as possible.

    I would have given the first game a 9/10, I was not really into the game play a ton, but the story totally sucked me in and I fell in love with the two main characters.

    Now, let's talk about TLOU2. The game play feels about the same to me, it doesn't seem to have evolved all that much, but it was certainly good enough I think for most people. But I want to just list pros and cons of this game...

    PROS:
    The graphics are beautiful to me. I really enjoyed just exploring the world.
    Some of the visceral fighting is a little too violent for my taste, but I think it was pretty intense in a good way at times.
    I also generally enjoyed a lot of the music, and the game feels very polished with no bugs.
    I love a lot of the level designs, and had fun in both the more linear parts and when you had a little more freedom

    CONS:
    It has to be the story. It's not about specific characters and moments on their own, it's the overall tone and theme of the narrative. I know some people will rail on specific things, but I can probably tough it out and accept any one bad scene if the overall story is still good. But it wasn't. In short, I fell out of love with Ellie and never fell in love with any other character at all. The narrative is too simplistic to me compared to the nuance and subtle undertones of the first game. I feel like this story could have been told - and has been already - in so many games, shows, and movies, whereas the first game felt very unique in how the specific narrative tied together. I am really shocked the writing is this poor, it's really a huge letdown for me both in terms of plot holes and just general dialogue, etc. I feel like the first game was at a level like a real written novel of high quality and this one is more over the top pulp fiction comic book. I felt so many emotions during the first game, I felt almost nothing this time around. It just felt too over the top and bleak in a way that didn't ever connect with me. I think the Schindler's List comparison I have heard is a very poor one because in that movie I constantly felt empathy, pain, and raw emotion constantly but in this game I just felt numb to the violence and felt almost nothing emotionally. They didn't build the characters well enough to ever really care about them, and then once they start acting out, it just doesn't connect.
    Also, maybe the pure violence appeals more to men but for me it took away from the narrative.

    I think a 4/10 is a fair score given everything I experienced. I still support a lot of what I think the game was trying to do, but it just didn't tell a good story. And that's true no matter what specific scene or situation someone wants to talk about -- on the macro level, the writing brings down the game.    … Expand

Геймплей по большей части довольной унылый, бесконечные закрытые двери, скучный стелс с зомби, но при этом неплохие перестрелки, очень понравились следы от пуль на врагах, физика крови и отстреливание конечностей, к тому же враги общаются друг с другом как настоящие люди. Сюжет мне не понравился вообще, сама завязка мотивирует найти обидчиков и отомстить за Джоэла, но просто так слить персонажа... как мне показалось в этой игре в принципе с этим какая-то проблема, персонажи просто умирают как мухи. Последняя часть игры доказала что до этого была не такая уж и душниловка, главная героиня просто сходит с ума и постоянно ловит флэшбеки,которые заставляют её то избивать кого-то до смерти, то просто отпускать (при чём одного и того же человека). Разработчики пытались выставить антагониста в хорошем свете (жидкая мораль), но для меня Эбби как была сумасшедшей, так и осталась. Так же очень не нравится то что в игре вообще нет никаких выборов, игра полностью линейна и мне кажется такого в 2020 быть не должно, да и в целом этой "инновационности" не чувствуется, игра на уровне может 2015 года, что по графике что по геймплею. А второе для меня всегда стоит всегда на первом месте, потому что именно геймплей дарит те ощущения которые хочется получить от игры, а насладится сюжетом можно и вовсе не играя. Я думал что СЖВшность игры будет для меня проблемой, а оказалось что это самое безобидное что было в этой игре. Моя оценка 4/10 за хорошие перестрелки с людьми, которые можно пройти без стелса и конечно же за отражения.… Expand

Neil Druckmann in an interview even said, when asked whether the player is deliberately made feel bad, that yes, players should not have fun with this game.

    In the end everything that was great about the first part has been tarnished for no reason, no conclusion and most importantly a (what feels like) really cheap and cheesy message.

    If you liked the first game for the characters and their relationships, this game is probably not for you. I hate myself for saying this, but I wish this game was never made. Again, as a huge fan of the first part it pains me so so much, if however you're new to the franchise or loved the first game for its gameplay this'll be a great (as far as a depressing story can go) experience for you. In the end, I neither hate nor love this game, it's just okay.    … Expand

    Funny how many people "played" the game so fast and came to the conclusion that it deserves a 0, trully organic and trustworthy reviews, jk. The gamer community nowadays is completely biased and pathetic on every side of the spectrum, if you are confortable enough with your heterosexuality and doesn't enter a mental breakdown when you see unconventional sexual interactions when compared to your orientation, you will be fine playing this.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
