    This is a perfect game. In my opinion just as good as the first game. Dont believe the userscore on metacritic. Most are butthurt children who has their own game in mind.

    Honestly, one of the biggest disappointments of this year. The game has great graphics and decent gameplay, but the story, the focal point of this game is immensely awful in comparison to the first part. If all you care about is gameplay and graphics, the game is definitely playable, but if you're looking for a good story, it's just not there (at least for me). Best game I've ever played, but it's obviously not perfect, I think it had too much gameplay time with Abby, and I think Joel coul fight more before he died, anyway, the story is incredible, the gameplay is great, the graphics are very well done, dubbing is good and the soundtrack is beautiful.

Storia avvincente e piena di emozioni, ma avrei comunque preferito che ci fosse una backstory di Abby per empatizzare poi col suo personaggio e ci fosse dato più tempo ad inizio gioco per approfondire il nuovo rapporto tra Joel ed Ellie… Expand

Acredito que apesar dos grandes pontos negativos que o jogo possui, não acho que o jogo é uma decepção porque claramente podemos ver que o jogo mostra que isso é a realidade, personagens que nos amamos como o Joel não deixam de ser humanos o jogo trata claramente uma história de vingança mas o jogo mostra outras coisas além da historia devemos levar em consideração que o jogo não tem gráficos,sons,jogabilidade,ambientação ruins.Estamos tristes com a morte do Joel porque estamos acostumados com o personagem em minha opinião o jogo teria três grandes pontos negativos, a morte do Joel, a história que trata uma vingança, e o fato de controlar uma personagem que queremos muito ver morta mas o jogo mostra que a família dos personagens que o Joel matou não deixaram isso para traz o que é o caso da Abby que definitivamente sofreu muito pelas ações ofensivas tomadas pelo Joel, então o jogo quer nos mostrar que apesar de amarmos o Joel e a Ellie ambos são seres humano e que as famílias das pessoas que deixamos mortas não esqueceram o que aconteceu por mim o jogo recebe essa nota porque apesar do jogo ter esses pontos negativos o jogo nos trás sentimentos e ideis que nunca iremos esquecer Obrigado… Expand

    Graphics... That's the only good thing about this. Everything else is either mediocre or down right awful. The game play did not evolve one bit since 2013. It's still a walking simulator that's more a movie than a game, which would be enjoyable if it had a good story but God damn is it bad. The story simply broke my heart and not in the good way. It's like a spit in the face of the entire fan base. It's like the worst fan fiction you could possibly find. Seriously? This is what you came up after 7 years? Did Twitter write this game? It's full of plot holes and the characters you fell in love with in the first game are completely ruined and you are forced to play with the character that ruined them. I don't mind the woke stuff but when so much of it is obviously forced down your throat it feels like the entire game was built around it so if people don't like it you can pull the victim card and say that they are ists and phobes and whatever. And the director to preach so much about sexualising women in games is bad only than to put that Abby scene in the game? I can't unsee that. WTF were you thinking? I'd rather watch 2 girls one cup on repeat while eating. Let me tell you a little secret western game devs. People are playing games for entertainment and they'd rather see pretty things while doing it than ugl.. excuse me FUGLY ones! This is never going to change. How is sexualising men was never an issue? People don't like to be preached to and to be told what to think. In a video game setting, that choice should be always ours.
    Overall, I don't recommend this, especially if you were a fan of the previous one. maybe buy it when it's on a massive sale. Shame    … Expand

I want to get this out upfront: my major problem with the game is that I was forced to play half of it as a character I didn’t care about at all and that I felt nothing for. The entire time I was just hoping I could go back to playing as Ellie. And you do come back to her—after 10 plus hours as Abby. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against new characters but I don’t think we needed a new playable one. In fact, I love Jesse, Dina, Yarra, and Lev. They all felt much easier to connect to than Abby, who feels like a weird attempt at an “Ellie 2.0,” just more physically imposing and less emotionally impactful. I’ve heard a few people say they loved Abby but that’s a sentiment that I personally can’t share. Similarly, I didn’t much care about Abby’s group of WLF friends; Owen felt one dimensional and he and Abby’s relationship didn’t resonate for me, likely due to a lack of chemistry between the actors. I never really connected to Mel or Manny either. Manny felt like the most charismatic but seeing him spit on Joel’s dead body kind of ruined any chance he had of winning me over. Let me also say this: I don’t mind that Joel died. I would, however, have liked to have seen it executed better for a more meaningful impact. A lot of the death in this game happens really quickly and then is kind of brushed over; I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to connect to Jesse only to have him shot in the face in a split second after walking through a door. I understand that this is supposed to convey a sense of reality; you don’t always see death coming and it can happen in an instant, no matter the context. But this is fiction and these are potentially great characters thrown away too soon for what feels like shock value. If we weren’t supposed to suspend our disbelief when it comes to death in video games then Joel falling on a rebar and living wouldn’t have worked in the first Last of Us. So why are fantastic characters dropping like flies only to let this bland one walk away at the end? To be fair, this game had some great moments, most of them in the first half. Ellie and Dina’s relationship has been my favorite in games, and media in general, in a long time. The natural chemistry they have and the incredible voice acting by Ashley Johnson and Shannon Woodward makes you feel for these characters the way we felt for Joel and Ellie in the first game. Troy Baker also does a phenomenal job, especially in the final flashback scene of the game where Joel is breaking down but fighting to hold himself together. You could feel the nuance in every voice crack, sigh, and sniffle. The thematic song thread Joel introduces at the beginning tugged at my heartstrings and every time it came back up throughout the story I could honestly feel a small bit of the first game’s spirit creeping into this sequel. The same can be said for the incredible Ellie and Joel flashback moments, each one giving us a glimpse at what we missed in the five year time jump between Part 1 and now. The game is undeniably visually stunning; the art direction is fantastic and every environment is unique and fascinating, down to the lighting. The gameplay is revamped and slightly expanded, allowing the player new methods of movement like a prone option for stealth and crevices to squeeze through to escape infected or get the drop on an enemy. The combat feels good and the impact is definitely felt with every punch you take and each one you deal. Shooting is more or less the same as the first game with bullet drop (and arrow drop). The upgrade paths are great but with the story split between two characters it’s seemingly impossible to upgrade everything in one go unless you have your resources setting set to “very light” so the game basically gives you loot everywhere you go. There is a new game plus option to keep all your upgrades while you play through again but I honestly don’t see myself playing more than once. I’m just not interested in sitting through Abby’s story a second time, not to mention the contrived plot points that exist solely to move the story in this specific direction. I personally don’t understand why this game is getting 10/10 scores or being touted as a “masterpiece.” Half of it was great—the other half felt like one of those movies that has you checking your watch every couple minutes. As this is a story-driven game, I have to dock a couple points at least for a poorly executed story with really good highlights. The gameplay is by far the best part but the fun of it is hindered when you don’t feel invested while playing as someone other than Ellie. Which, again, is half the time. I hope they end the franchise here because I just can’t see it regaining that spark that made it so special to begin with. Or next time just let me play as Ellie, please, for God’s sake.… Expand

    Тут конечно не без своих моментов и косяков, игра не идеальна, но отрицать того что игра суперская нельзя. Если кому не понравится сюжет, то вы зацените игру со стороны графики или геймплея. Abby could forgive Eille for killing her frineds and she just could not help herself crashing Joel's damn life. While I was playing as Abby, I changed the difficulty to easy, just to make her story pass fast. Honestly many players care nothing about Abby's story.

    An excellent game, maybe seen as bad because of the first part that was one of the most brillant game of his generation.
    Now Naughty Dogs tried to create an original scenario where most people just wanted to keep playing Joel, to keep playing a road trip, to keep playing the same game. People are just disappointed because they expected to play The last of us 1 again.

    Al principio del juego , hablo de las 2 primeras horas como da la casualidad que cuando ABBIE le está corriendo de los INFECTADOS da la casualidad que hay mismo cuando la están por coger los INFECTADOS se encuentra con joel y tommy y cuando llegan a la cabaña donde se encuentran los amigos de ABBIE da la casualidad que entran a un cuarto cerrado y joel un hombre que no confiaba ni en su propia sombra en el primer juego entra sin estar armado al cuarto cuando los amigos de ABBIE todos están armados hasta los diente y joel se confía y le da su nombre y ABBIE mata como un perro a joel una persona que en el primer juego CRUZO MEDIO MUNDO matando cientos de personas y infectados y viene ABBIE y lo mata con un palo de golf ((((FINAL))))

    El final me pareció unos de los momentos más desperdiciados del juego como va hacer que ELLIE lleva meses buscando a ABBIE y cuando por fin la encuentra le perdona la vida y cuando termina el juego me deja con muchas preguntas y quisiera que me las aclaren en un futuro dlc.     Don’t let the reactionaries fool you - this is a great game and a worthy sequel. You must do a bit of mental work to put yourself in the shoes of certain characters, but the game is more engrossing and engaging for just this reason.

    In the first place - the game is great. If you really want to feel intensity of it, do not wantch anything on internet as it spoils all the fun and ruins the moment of surprise. It is similar to Game of Thrones - if you knew how Rob Starks wedding would end, it would not be same as when you watched it without knowing how that wedding ends.

    This game has gotten a lot of hate for it`s "forced" diversity and what it does with the protagonists from the first game. However I think that the way the game tells this story is a perfect mirror for the first and shows the hypocrisy of the people who supported Joel`s actions but not the characters in this game.     Good graphics and the gameplay mechanics work well, but hardly an improvement over the original. The story is terrible and seeing as I have no options to change it in any way the whole experience was an unpleasant one. Such a massive let down after all these years of waiting.

    Every element of this game stands to make it a masterpiece, the writing, gameplay, graphics, everything is amazing... The only reason I didn’t like it is I wish it wasn’t Ellie and Joel going through all of this, they deserved better.

I lost my mom 8months ago and i feel how they feel when you lose someone you love that mutch. The song from joel for Ellie, i was thinking to my mom. The whole game is so emotiinal. One big masterpiece.

Два тридцати летних дебила (я и мой друг) которые играли в это сильно разочаровались. Сейчас индиИгра умерла. Игру которую любил за сюжет и за персонажей просто убили.     The game ruined its potential to be a great game. The story needs a lot of improvement. Characters just not really that good or decent, so many wrongs in the game to make sense. I would be dishonest if i gave it any score, as of now it deserves a perfect zero.

    I love tlou,I hate this sequel.
    The editor copied the plot from the bad TV series, and then you feel the pain through the game, a medium that is so sensory and exciting.
    Tlou's screenwriters are suffering from self-righteous art disease.

    gameplay is much more better than the first one and the graphics and sound design are top notch.
    For the story it would have never appealed to everyone as it is clear now. most people who played the game and don't like it is actually in denial of what happens and i get it . it is that strong. emotional journey from start to finish. and the set pieces in the game are amazing so so good.
    definitely a game for mature audiences not cry babies who refused to even try the game because either for pity personal reasons or being brainless about it.

The reason it isn't a perfect ten is because the story is grim and unrelenting. It is certainly the most mature, 'adult' story I've ever played. I don't mean in the sense of its graphic violence (you're going to see a lot of mutilation) , but more that while each character is relatable they are often acting in hard to stomach ways. It makes the first game seem light as a daisy.

    Now, if that sounds swell to you great, but I don't really need a misery simulator in my life so it loses a couple of points and much as I think the game is in someways a masterpiece I won't replay it, if ever, for a very long time.

    Final note - If you check the date of all the negative reviews most were posted on the day of release. It's a 30 hour long game. It's just review bombing because leaks for the story were released on-line and a vocal group of man-children spat their dummies out. Ignore.    … Expand

    Joel's death is justified, Abby is a great character and the story, while it lacks consistency at some points, is extremely solid. Many people are angry about the end but what I can say about it is that it makes sense for Ellie and the narrative as a whole. If you didn't saw that, you should be analyzing more what is happening.

    Naughty Dog did it again and even if I was doubting them at some point because of the rocky path towards release, I'd still spend those $60 on this game. Worth every penny.

Here we are the TLOU2, upon this game so much backlash was about possible leaks, from someone who never bothered with them, i kept my open mind that while i may not agree with decisions, its a story in a world where living is hard and dying is easy, isn't as easy as popping a pill for a bit of depression.

    Graphically its one of the best games to ever be on console and not just ps4, the game introduces a quick heartbreak after we play the soon be villian, something never done is giving us the flip side or mirror situation, we experience why abby has such a revenge, i think if we got to play as abby and experienced the death of her father sooner, it may have played more sympathetic.

    After Joel is brutally murdered, ellie seeks revenge, begins the journey where we come across new inflected, experience new mechanics that mesh great with previous foundation,prone, climbing ropes, new abilities, hiding in grass, as you embrace the new found hatred, you also learn ellie isn't herself, she harbors survivor guilt, she is in a dark place, finding out the secret as to what joel did at the hospital.

    The decisions are not what i may decided, especially with the ending, but deeper meaning is inhabited and instilled for ellie its trying to find her new place in such a world,she once told us she loses everyone.

    I see this as a beautiful game, awesome gameplay, acting is 100% on point but how the story is narrated is really not compelling, especially the final part.
    I don't see the point on "humanizing" Abby, whoever has a brain knows that the "evil" part has its own reasons, especially after the sad (but heartfelt) decision that Joel made in the LOU 1.
    Everyone expected Joel to die, but how he died and when, doesn't make sense. After a total free violence against an harmless man on the floor, they don't kill who saw them.
    I can continue with more examples for hours.
    Why people gave 10 to this game is a mystery, this is a great game, but nowhere close to perfection since storytelling is a key part of these games.
    So, to compensate no-sense 10 I need to give a 0, this mostly would be a 7 or 8, not an inch more in my opinion.    … Expand

These characters feel like they are a parody or a fantasy version of some guy inner dreams on how women should be, and it shows.
    The story had a very weird structure, for some it might be a good thing and for others it might be good, for me this story structure has been done before better so it really is not that big of a deal. The core story itself on the other hand has too many plot holes, as well as it feels fake, simply because the characters feel too fake to even exist.
    This game forgets how real human beings really act, and also how young people behave in real life and is in my opinion a work of fiction in both reality and humanity. The gameplay is repetitive and it shows after hours. In my opinion this game is 5 out of 10.    … Expand

They have greatly improved the fight, it is less boring than before, they put the silencer on the gun, the world is much wider, year improved the A.I. The fact that Ellie is more detached, stems from the fact that she is a teenager and has seen her only parental reference die. Flashbacks are justified by the fact that the game would have been boring if it had started from before, there would have been no form of action. in the early stages of the game, it's all snowed, the dictation that warm blood melts the snow, had never been seen, even the water is incredible, like this game. It doesn't touch the same topics as the previous chapter, but it's normal, everyone changes and evolves with their works, if you wanted a game like the first part, replay that one and don't say it's ****… Expand

    As many unscored critic reviews have noted the story doesn't hold together, characters keep behaving erratically in constant about-faces about their motivations, worse and worse as the plot drags on. It's an hack job ny people in bad faith, without the writing chops to pull any of that off.

    This game had so much potential and they killed it. I just feel bad for the developers, the amount of work they've put in just for one guy to screw it all up must be devastating. It's a gorgeous game but it's a story game and if the story fails the graphics can't make up for it.

The way Joel died was moronic, Joel from part 1 would never reveal his identity nor follow a bunch of strangers he just met. The fact that he was killed within the first 2 hours of the game and then you’re forced to play as the very person who killed him for 10 hours, without any context or who this person was is just a horrible idea and made me feel sick. Some of Ellie’s actions don’t make much sense either, including the ending. It just seems that writers came up with an idea and wrote a script without considering if the existing characters fit into the story. The new characters that were introduced are impossible to like even though the game wants you to sympathise with them (I’m talking about Abby – she’s a badly written character and when in a second she turned back on WLF and started killing her friends I could believe this!). I did like Dina and Jesse but obviously Jesse as one of very few characters I liked was killed like a dog (same as Joel). Wanted to see more Tommy as well and thought I would get a chance to play as him (instead I got Abby…) but they completely gave up on him as all characters from part 1.

    The world looks nice, graphics are great, voice acting too. When it comes to gameplay, NPCs – it’s just slightly better than part one and I was expecting a bit more but did enjoy it in general.

    There are attempts to make some kind of chemistry between these new characters but it almost always falls flat. I'm confused how even a sex/kiss scene fail to sell a relationship between them. Making a character gay, non-stereotype, big-nosed, ethnic, or a tomboy does not by default make them interesting.

    Some segments from Uncharted wouldn't be engaging if not for the banter between Nathan and Sully. This is relevant as a whole lot of TLOU2 are padded stealth sections that don't have the same kind of interaction to entertain you. The only genuine character relationship is put to an end early on with no worthwhile replacement. This is so evident by the few flashback segments with Joel/Ellie which make a museum walking simulator fun.

    Naughty Dog seem to have place its bets on the gameplay and new characters for the majority of TLOU2 and these are definitely not their strong suit.    … Expand

    7 years ago i said that TLOU doesnt need an sequel, at least making an completely new characters and new storyline was a solution, but they wanted to "push" the story in different way...

    Cant ignore the fact that this videogame is very creative, but as a "sequel", its hard to recommend to the fanbase, its not a game that everyone can accept so easily, it divide the users and its understandable.

    Accept or not this story as "sequel" depend from the users, for me the first TLOU is unique and doesnt need an "sequel".    … Expand

    I actually enjoyed it, completed in 29 hours on hard. I had fun and was immersed for the duration. There was some questionable plot handling in the intro,and a bit of story dragging near the middle, but I respect the risks taken and am throughly impressed with the technical marvel and visual beauty of this sequel.

    Achei interessante a forma que o jogo mostra que existem pontos de vista diferentes do Joel e da Ellie e também que não existe um lado certo da história, você consegue compreender ambos os lados, uma decisão bem ousada da Naughty Dog. Além de tudo, a diversidade dos personagens e acessibilidade do jogo são louváveis. O jogo, na minha opinião, é melhor que o primeiro.

    Achei o game incrível. Facilmente um dos melhores jogos dessa geração. Peca um pouco na transição do Joel, porém a protagonista é brilhante.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
