    I came into this game with little to no expectations and left feeling very dissatisfied. The gameplay was serviceable and much more polished from the first game, but I cannot make any excuses for the story or lack there of. If you haven't played the first game then you may find some enjoyment in its mechanics, but overhaul leave unfulfilled, but if you are a fan of the first game then stayI came into this game with little to no expectations and left feeling very dissatisfied.     This game doesn't need the bad reviews, even if it wasn't what you expected. People delayed this game just to make sure it was perfect for release, maybe it doesn't remind you of tlou cause the characters evolve, Ellie isnt just a kid anymore so what did you expect? Another father and daughter moment in a post apocalyptic world?

    The game is beautiful, gameplay faithful to the first game, the story spits in the face of the fans killing Joel in such a grotesque way, it was like he wasn't a main character, you know? But the game is really cool and I really liked it.

    TBH I gave it a 0 then I played it lol. I guess Naughty Dog finally fixed their **** cover system/camera.

Just finished the game today, i love tf outta this game im literally sad asf that its done, the game put me on an emotional roller coaster...the people who hate this game are hating on it because of the LGBT stuff goin in the game, like its 2020 man grow tf up deal with it, this game is one of the best if not the best story tellers I’ve ever played, playing the intro had me like why tf would abby kill joel but as you transition over to abby’s life it makes you understand on why she did what she did it was overall smart of naughtydogg to basically put the famous quote(there’s two sides to every story) in perspective with this game, at first i hate abby for joel but as i played with her I honestly can say that Abby/Ellie are literally the same person, i grew to like abby more as a character honest to say,,think about it joel kills abbys father & out of retaliation abby kill joel, ellie kills abby’s friends & vice versa abby kills hers so it reality joel started everything..note*abby spared ellie twice!! I was so glad abby didn’t die in the end nor ellie cause if abby wouldve died the revenge cycle wouldve just continued..I have so many unanswered quesions!! They need to add a DLC OR Sumn Cause Whew im in distraught over here… Expand

Old and familiar characters act totally different as if the character development they had in the previous game was forgotten and new ones are bland boring and not sympathetic; the Abby portions are a pain to go through, so much so that at times I felt like stop playing, even Ellie acted like a total ****, so much that it was also hard to cheer for her. Is as if the developers forgot what made the first game so memorable. The ending, just adds insult to injury. Graphics are the best of this generation, 10/10 regarding that aspect… Expand

    Pretty shame the reviewers who give this game a 0. The story did in fact shift gears, but its still great. I was always looking foward for what comes next, addicting script and very unexpected. Thats what makes it great. The grame has a huge impact on the consumer and the more sensitive might rage with bad reviews, but its unfair and unrealistic. The sound is perfect makes your heart ratePretty shame the reviewers who give this game a 0. The story did in fact shift gears, but its still great. Feeling fear and disgust perhaps even?? From a character you have known for so long. Creating complex ideas of right or wrong. That’s what the first game did so to expect anything less than that for part 2 would be a mistake. The game makes you feel so worried about the safety of the beloved Ellie as she goes on a reckless journey for revenge. And to those who hate on the ending, I’m sorry you lack any form of empathy. Abby is a complex character that has been seeking revenge for 4 years and gets it. While Ellie is blinded by the fresh wound of Joel’s murder. To say that Ellie should have killed Abby in the end is a misunderstanding and disregard to what the story is telling you. There are plenty of flashbacks that set up the fact that Ellie is not necessarily wanting revenge but closure for the relationship her and Joel ACTUALLY had. It is a somber end but it leaves it open to interpretation. To me it shows an Ellie who has found closure both with Abby but more importantly with Joel. This is a masterpiece of story, gameplay, and environment. I’m not sure how any game will top this.… Expand

    It's a shame that such a game is punished with overly heavy reviews.
    We are facing yet another masterpiece by Naughty dog, capable of conveying unique emotions and sensations.
    I understand who would have preferred a different fate for certain characters in the saga, but the truth is that despite the courageous narrative choices, tlou is simply poetry.

Story line is weak, N Dog forced to play with ugly trans gender on steroids..okay appearance but she killed beloved character Joel in 1st-2nd hour of gameplay..it was very dumb way. The game looks really nice, but that doesn't do anything for me when I absolutely hate the characters and the gratuitous, almost fetishistic violence.     我很喜欢顽皮狗的线性叙事，这给了他们十分自由的创作空间，没有必要太过于考虑玩家想要什么，而是单纯地，像写小说一样编排故事的发展。比起玩家操控主要角色‘控制’事件的走向，我更喜欢游戏作为一种载体，将另一个世界发生的故事完美的呈现在我的眼前。今天打完游戏后，我认为，顽皮狗将这个‘完美’做到了完美。
    我喜欢最后生还者2这个世界，我以玩家的视角看待世界中发生的事情，感受每一个人的每一种情绪。最后，对于这个世界里发生的事情，我要说一句话。

    The game is truly a maasterpiece, an emotional - roller coaster, and a new medium in the game industry. The storytelling, directing and gameplay are out of this world. 10/10 a release worth of money and time waited.

    Não tenho como expressar suficientemente minha decepção. Não acrescentou em quase nada ao primeiro jogo, apenas um complemento desnecessário que descaracterizou personagens com uma história clichê, forçada e cheia de furos.

    One of the best game ever: it's awesome and spectacular, the gameplay is amazing and the graphic it's an absolute stanner.
    All of the bad rewies are from idiots, or from the ones that hate NaughtyDog; if you say that this is a bad game, you deserve death stranding with its "postman simulator"

    The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most finest golfing simulators out there. It has some of the most engaging characters and will keep you hooked in throughout it’s interesting story. [OPINION CON SPOILERS] El juego es bueno, la primera mitad que juegas con ellie puedo decir que es de lo mejor, personajes como jesse o dina se me hicieron buenas inclusiones, los personajes LGBT+ son buenos y no lo senti forzado, la relación de dina y ellie me encanto y con lev, si no te decían que era una chica en realidad ni te enterabas, cuando empieza la parte de abby almenos en mi caso odie esa parte, tiene lo bueno como la historia de lev y yara, el cambio por parte de abby, personajes como owen o many son buenos, aunque sepas como acabaran, como abby rompe el ciclo de venganza al no matar a ellie y dina en el teatro se logra ver su evolución como personaje, el final me dejo un mal sabor de boca pero lo siento bueno a la vez aunque algo triste, cuando estas a punto de matarla te das cuenta como finalmente ellie perdona a joel por lo que hizo y reflexiona sobre lo que estaba haciendo, la escena final de la guitarra es un adios a joel después de todo lo que paso, no es una obra maestra como la aclaman, pero tampoco es malo y no esta cerca de serlo, la muerte de joel aunque sea rapida y sin una escena mas memorable se entiende, no es algun heroe como para evitar que pasara, simplemente el pasado lo alcanzo, ellie queda devastada, herida, sin poder tocar bien la guitarra y sola, todo esto por una venganza, no es un final bueno, solo es un final y ya.… Expand

The Ellie and Joel act uncharacteristically from the first game to seemingly just fit the story line and get them to where they are supposed to be. After killing Joel you play as Abby and I couldn’t care less about her background or that her dad saved some zebra. I just wanted her dead and we don’t even get that that at the end.     The Last of Us world is not a fairy tale. Part II is about hate and forgiveness from both sides of the story.
    It may not be the story you want I get it.
    It's not what you want that makes it good or bad. It's all the work that is involved in it.
    The voice actiing, the sound/music, the details, everything that each individual spent their time working on it made it a game worth playing.
    I feel sad I do. For both sides. In the end I would like to see what comes next.
    Is Ellie ok? Did Abby found the fireflies?
    I hope they deliver a DLC even with all this drama.

This game is so much more than it was marketed to be and goes far deeper than a tale of revenge and violence. You may not like the events of the game, but to deny that this is masterfully done feels ridiculous to me. It's rare that I say this but, LISTEN TO THE CRITICS! They're right to give this 5 stars.     Just completed the game, this game it just a masterpiece for me .
    May some ppl didnt get through thier anger and give the game poor score, but its didnt change the fact that, the game, the story, the characters its so real, i see my self and many ppl in it.
    Its might hurt, but its real. 10/10

My real rating for the game based on the story and gameplay as Abby would be an 8 but theres a lot of idiots rating this a zero because they haven’t finished the game and came to rate it beforeIncredible game.     Completed the game this morning. Attention to detail is way above average. Story telling no doubt one of the best features. I don't understand the negativity from other reviewers after reading a few with spoilers. I am glad how this game turned out. After Joel died i just wanted to stop playing.What i loved is the different emotions i had towards Ellie and Abbey.I loved the way the game made me feel hatred towards one character only to change my opinion throughout the game.I felt sorry for Ellie at the start she basically destroys every emotional attachment she had towards anyone by the end of the game and i found myself very satisfied with the ending,I found some characters bland and i would like to of seen more of Tommy,I loved this game I played it over three days,I couldn't wait to finish it,By far the best ps4 game i've played since the Last Of Us was released.Good tale of two people seeking revenge and the consequences and innocent lives that it destroys for what?The first games a story of survival, building new relationships from tragic loss ,Last Of us 2 a story of vengeance portraying how Ellie has transformed into a emotionless killing machine with no lack of empathy for anyone.two very different games.I loved it.Loved the graphics they could of added more new enemies.… Expand

Parabéns pelo trabalho. Algo que o Red Dead não consegue entregar .... por ser um gênero de pura violência se torna um jogo morno perto deste aqui.

Игра качественно продолжает сюжет первой части, и если что не понравилось то это скорее дело вкуса нежели сценарные проколы. В игре великолепная графика,качественное звуковое сопровождение, крутая атмосфера запоминающиеся персонажи и т.д. и т.п, в основном одни плюсы. Из минусов лично для себя выделю затянутость сюжета играя за Эбби, видеть Элли хотелось бы больше. Игра подарила кучу эмоций - ностальгию, улыбку качественно перетекающую в слезу смешанных чувств, злость(бомбило иногда, особенно когда заставили за Эбби против Элли сражаться) чувство тревоги в некоторых моментах и легкое чувство смятения и неопределенности в финале. В общем,не верьте 99% негативных оценок,это оценки людей которые скорее всего не игравший в эту игру и знающих о ней только то что Элли лесбиянка.Кстати о пропаганде ЛГБТ, в игре действительно присутствуют нотки толерантности(не толерастии) но на сюжет не влияют да воспринимаются адекватно. This game took me 27 hours without seriously looking for artifacts/trading cards on my first gameplay. All the negative comments were based on leaks that were petty, out of context, and some of them untrue or misleading.

    ND didn't make this story to be a fairytale filled with happy endings and perfect relationships. They said they were going to make this game as realistic as possible, and that didn't just mean the graphics. I loved Joel just as much as anyone else, but with every story, there's multiple sides. He killed people to save Ellie... But that means he killed someone's father, brother, wife, friend for his OWN gain. They developed Abby in such a great way. She was such a well rounded character, and I loved the fact that you were obligated to go after Ellie. It was uncomfortable and difficult... But you were forced to see all sides of Ellie and how other people view her. She may be our hero, but to many other people she's a murderer that took away their family. Absolute 10/10    … Expand

    I just finished this game and it is just amazing how it takes emotions and feelings to another level, the story of this game is more than lived up to what I expected. The Music, gameplay and graphics section is simply artistic. Consider this the best game with history I've ever tried. My applause to the naugthy dog ​​team and all the people who made this possible. 10/10

Graphical fidelity and environments are beautifully crafted, although the game switches from an open area style to a more linear style quite early on, which I thought was odd, because the open environments were some of the best in the game- regardless the graphics and environments are what I would almost call groundbreaking- if death stranding didn't exist. In terms of gameplay, it's almost unchanged from TLOU1. Gunplay and fighting all work more-or-less the same, crafting stays from the first game and are identical, very little innovation in that sector but honestly, it holds up fine. The story, however, is where this game takes a massive nosedive. Most of my points have been noted already, but here's what I found absolutely awful about the story. Uno: the way Joel's death was handled. Joel had to die, let's be honest. The story wouldn't have been able to take a step forward without his death (although admittedly the story didn't mean to take a step forward- the story was concluded in TLOU1 and should have stayed that way). But the way they handled it was absolutely laughable. If they had structured the game differently and included some of the Abby sections and flashbacks BEFORE Joel's death, it might've worked narratively. But this game fails to do that, and instead of an emotionally charged scene where we develop hatred towards Abby, we get an emotionally charged scene where we develop hatred towards Neil and his **** self-insert. Couple this awfully-done plot point with characters being forgotten about by both the player and the actual in-game characters (i forgot Manny's **** NAME after he was killed, and only knew him as "Neil's **** self-insert for the rest of the game, and apparently so did Abby because he's never **** mentioned again). Along with the single worst ending in the history of any videogame ever, and it all amounts to a story that goes nowhere, stands for nothing and utterly ruins everything that was great about the first game. Well done Naughty Dog, you done **** up. In the words of Joel: "There was a sequel. Wasn't as good."… Expand
