    Argument:
    I start with the most important part of the game which is the plot and which is a controversial equivalent generator. The plot seems very interesting to me, Naughty Dog's decision to kill an iconic character like Joel within 2 hours of the game seemed quite risky and brave to me. And this death was what detonated the entire history of this game, since Ellie goes from being a nice girl in the first game to a girl mowed for revenge killing whoever crosses her path to obtain the location of Abby who is the murderer of Joel and also the protagonist in the middle of this game. Bear in mind that this argument seems intriguing to me regarding the dramatic change in Ellie's character regarding personality, as I mentioned before sympathizing with a ruthless avenger, but I consider this plot "cliché" since there are already several films with the argument that The protagonist is killed by a loved one and he seeks revenge, so I consider this as something unoriginal but interesting at the same time. On the other hand, it seems incredible to me from Naughty Dog to make us play with the character of Abby before she murdered Joel, since she presents us with a common and ordinary character without knowing that at the time and users would be hating her to death (as was my case) and also how we introduced ourselves in the middle of the game, because she finally and Alcabo killed Joel because he killed the doctors and fireflies in the hospital part at the end of the first game, and the doctor in charge of Getting the vaccine was Abby's father, so up to that point the users or well in my case in particular made me empathize more with Abby, and not only was that, but in all the part of when we played with Abby we realized that she is actually a good person who dedicates herself to helping others as she did with the 2 seraphite children Yara and Lev who for them even betrayed her group of the "wolves" in order to protect them. I personally had many mixed feelings in this game, on the one hand I hated her for killing Joel and on the other I began to like the character of Abby, for which the way Naughty Dog handled this story seems impressive to me.

    Gameplay:
    I loved the gameplay, it is very similar to the first game but obviously with many improvements. I played it hard and I really suffered in some parts of the game, most of the time especially with Ellie I only had 4 bullets at most and life in red so I had to use stealth a lot and think a lot about what it was going to be my next move. I really enjoyed playing it in difficult because I really felt what it would be like to be in a post-apocalyptic world with few resources and very dangerous enemies, so I recommend playing it in this way to start, I will play it again in the future in the maximum difficulty to see how It can be complicated. The fighting sequences seem incredible to me, I quote one for example the part of when Abby and Lev are escaping from the burning town of the seraphites riding on horseback and shooting the others I found it very funny and well accomplished. On the other hand, I liked the little details like Ellie's minigame playing the guitar, I found this very interesting and entertaining. Graphics:
    Well in terms of graphics I can only say that I loved them, all the scenarios, the physics, the expression of the characters look incredibly good, it is an absolute visual beauty, the graphic leap from the first game to this one is notorious well 7 years do not pass in vain, and that I played it on a normal ps4, I can not imagine what this game will look like when it comes out on Ps5.

    Music:
    Gustavo Santaolalla shines again in this game, the soundtrack is very good but in this game it is presented in a much more subtle way compared to the first game. On a personal level, I like the soundtrack of the first game more because I feel it more expressive and it shows more than in this one, but it does it just the same.

    ¿Is it a masterpiece?
    I personally do not consider it a masterpiece, it is a game that is very well achieved, I really enjoyed playing it, I even had fun playing this more than the first installment, but in terms of plot I consider that the first is a masterpiece since it put a point and apart in the history of video games and also because the plot twist of Joel sacrificing all of humanity to save Ellie seemed incredible to me. This second part complements the first story very well, it is more entertaining but it is not as original as the first.

    And with nothing more to say, I thank and congratulate Naughty Dog for creating The Last of Us Part 1 and 2 they really created an incredible and very emotional franchise, I emphasize that never in any video game had I felt so many emotions together when playing a video game and in Finally, I expect more great works from you.    … Expand

    Termine el juego después de 23 horas qué me mantuvo de principio a final muy interesado en la historia, la historia tiene sus fallas, pero sin embargo la jugabilidad, la historia, gráficos y música es un paquete completo y un gran juego a mi me encanto y si no es GOTY se acerca mucho a eso.

    this game is an emotional rollercoaster.. it continues 5 years after where part 1 ended. The graphics are 10/10. The way the enemy behaves is 10/10. The tiniest details have been worked on.

    Easily this game is the best game i ever played

    Amazing game. Watched full play through and it has an amazing storyline with realistic interactions. Those review bombing are pretty easy to spot and their reasons are very simple minded.     User reviews only speak of Joel's death, of the wet dreams they may have had with the character, it's always the same. But nobody asks: What is beyond this event? Why it happened? He deserved it? What happens next? What will these characters feel about that event?
    Yes, it was horrible that he died, and he had a pathetic death, but it is the cause and effect of the acts of the "crazy man". It was a death that no one expects from the best character ever written. He deserved a better death, but in the reality of this game it is not.

    This game more than entertain us, it destroys us. It leaves us with an existential void that consumes you and kills you.
    It is a crude game, and cruel and it is in every right to be. It's The Last Of Us!

    If you are looking to leave with a good taste in your mouth, go play fortnite or minecraft. They are fast, frantic games, and you don't need to think beyond their mechanics and kill without questioning the lives of others.
    The Last Of Us more than a game, it is an experience. It is Ellie's evolution and the consequence of her actions. Not everything is Joel. That does not mean that he is an excellent character.

    The world is so used to everything being rosy and that everything turns out as they want, that they are blinded by it and do not see what the human being (in this game or in real life) is capable of.

    This game is great! And it does not deserve the injustice of these empty criticisms that for a fact destroy how great this game is.
    Okay, playing like Abby is maddening, maybe boring at times (No one wants to play like the villain) .. (Ah! But wasn't Joel exactly that in the previous game? ... A Villain?). Just think about it a little.

    Leaving Joel's event behind (which sets fanboys on fire), the endgame leaves much to think about.
    What Ellie did can drive anyone crazy. Would you be able to do what she did without losing your sanity?

    My mother taught me that forgiving is the most difficult honest act to perform in the world. But that is what nobody assumes: Assume when we are wrong.
    More than revenge, this game is about forgiveness.
    And so Ellie deserves more and my respects.

    Great game.

    If you are sensitive-minded, don't buy the game. But it is an experience that has to be lived.

    100% recommendable.

He saved abby's life.When you kill a main character at least make it rewarding in the end. It's like they forgot who the main characters are. To me this is lazy writing. The gameplay is the same as before but now you can jump and go prone. The graphics are better but that'sHonestly the story makes no sense.     Enredo: O Enredo do The Last Of Us Part II tem como principal foco, a vingança, e tudo que a protagonista (Ellie) fará para tê-la. Sinceramente, é admirável a Naughty Dog, produtora do jogo, teve a coragem de criar um enredo tão ousado. Inicialmente, controlamos Ellie em algumas patrulhas, porém, diversos eventos após as patrulhas, ela se encontra com Abby, que está torturando o “considerado” pai de Ellie, matando-o. Esse é o primeiro plot da história, e é daí onde ela realmente se inicia. Não entrarei muito em detalhes, pois, mesmo sendo uma review com spoilers, não quero estragar a experiência de quem for tentar se aventurar nas análises.

Exhausted, after an emotional roller coaster that immerses you into the world of two very different but also similar protagonists. This is my first meteoritic review and I feel obligated to share my opinion as there is a lot of conflicting information flying around so I hope this helps. First let us address gameplay and graphics as we can get through this very quickly. Stunning, the landscapes and weather help pull you into to this dystopian yet still very beautiful world. As far as gameplay and combat goes, it is leagues above that of the first game and feels extremely well polished. The talent trees and weapon upgrades feel good for the most part, giving you the freedom to choose your playstyle and increase the characters strengths to achieve this. The variety of weapons was also a pleasant surprise. The level of detail is second to none and Naughty Dog should be praised for delivering such an experience.
    Now...the story. I went into this game completely hidden from leaks, spoilers and even trailers. I am a die hard fan of the first game, the characters we grew to love along the way and I can understand people's sadness and anger of losing such a great and loved character mere hours after the start. I have to say that I liked the story a lot, warts and all, let me explain why. I think people forget the world we live in as a character in the Last of Us. This post apocalyptic world has brought out the worst in people (and sometimes the best). Adventuring throughout the world offers extreme danger, yes from the infected but more importantly from the living. Survival has driven people to extremes of depravity and this is only magnified by the lack of any justice in the world. To that end, although it's hard to watch Joel's death, I feel it certainly is not a surprise and although hard to admit, justified after Joel's actions at the end of the first game. I shared Ellie's pain and anger at seeing her father figure die before her and by the end of the game I feel this even more knowing the turbulent times they faced in the years after Salt Lake. I fully understand Abby's motivations, especially as they are so aligned with Ellie's but I wanted revenge, and thus I set out with Ellie to exact this revenge, fully committed to seeing Abby and her friends last breaths. I was very taken aback when suddenly I was following the story from Abby's side. It felt quite jarring as I had worked for hours to find and hurt this person, to now be transported into her body and learn about her, her personality and her past. I certainly was uncomfortable about this switch when it happened but I won't say it is a failure of the game, quite the opposite. I play naughty dog games for the story and this form of narrative, showing a story from both sides, showing that situations are never black and white was a very powerful plot vehicle that certainly toyed with my emotions. I went into this part of the game not liking this character at all but finished the game understanding her a lot more, maybe not liking her as I do other characters but understanding that one painful experience such as the brutal murder of her father completely shaped her life moving forward. Both characters experience a rich world with lots of meaty story and interesting characters. For the most part I liked Yara and Lev and I thought they both helped bring out a side of Abby that she was suppressing while she focused on revenge. The character feels lost after killing Joel, I think focusing on this goal for many years and assuming life will instantly be better after his death is a mistake, one which Ellie also battles with. You discover there are many likeable characters amongst her friends, Owen especially. You get the impression he never really fit in with the WLFs and this had a positive influence on Abby's character. I think we need to talk about fan service. I can use Star Wars as a great example. I liked the latest films but they certainly stop well short of greatness for me and fan service is a big part of that. Creating a story to only appease fans instead of telling a hard, powerful and unforgiving story that is true to the world. I love Joel's character but I too wrestle with his actions at the end of The Last of Us. A choice between saving the world and essentially saving your daughter, how many of us would choose the world? Unfortunately this choice completely shattered lives and I praise Naughty Dog for showing the true ramifications of this decision. Elli's ultimate act of clemency for Abby feels right, both characters are emotionally and physically irreparably damaged and this revenge circle needs to stop. Did I like every action characters took along the way or plot point? No. Did I understand the motivations behind them? Yes. I have been transported into a rich, diverse and unforgiving world and have been shown a story that echos this completely. It was worth every minute.    … Expand

Hard storyline that will definitely not make unanimity. I had trouble accepting some parts of it because i loved the first game and its characters, and seeing what happens to them saddened me greatly. ND warned us, it is not a comforting game. They don't send rays of sunshine towars us (well, most of the time, e.g Ellie's birthday), which doesn't mean that i think the second opus is badly written. In fact, the story line (that some are so eager to call pure s*** out of anger due to a major character death) made me reflect and feel as I never had before with a video game. It is a masterpiece. The game is an intense experience, and whether you like it or not is up to you. For my part, i enjoyed the whole thing even if it was a hard journey.… Expand

    About 14 hours in and I'm loving it. As a hardcore PC gamer, it's really disappointing there's no one making these sorts of games to this quality on that platform.

    Those who are complaining just understand non-linear events I suppose. They must hate Tarantino films.

    Si bien por muchos años fue esperada la entrega, parece que no fue de total agrado para quienes ven morir a uno de los personajes de la manera más "más estúpida" posible, que según merecía una mejor muerte, igualmente, no es motivo para que cuando sucede eso digan "–¡Qué porquería de juego!". Por cierto, la mayoría de jugadores pone la excusa de "inclusión forzada" también como motivo de que fue una burla, pues bien, se respeta el hecho de que no todos apoyen el movimiento LGBT, pero se nota a leguas su intolerancia haciendo comentarios que ya ofenden, y eso es lo molesto.
    En mi humilde opinión, estoy satisfecho, no puedo decir nada más que me hizo sentir emociones fuertes, me entretuve en conforme iba pasando la historia y si bien no me esperaba muchas cosas, me siento bien, y sé que invertí bien mi tiempo y mi dinero.    … Expand

    Way too long with disjointed story. I can see what the naughty dog studio were trying to do but its way off the mark. Hopefully they can listen to the fans and learn from this release and all the bad pr around it from their behaviour.

    Even tho the game is getting all this hate I genuinely liked the story and the message Naughty Dog wanted to transmit. It's hard to make me cry but this game made me cry more than a couple times.

    Utterly bad storytelling, gets boring after 3 hours, the game js just too long for this small and absolutely not unique revenge stuff. Yeah nice graphics and enviroment, but also its not entertaining for the more than 20 hours of gameplay it takes. Also some of the NPCs are stupid as a rock. Shame

Это какой то горячечный бред. Художественная история - это не реальная жизнь. Здесь куча допущений. ИМХО: Сюжет прекрасно доносит одну мысль, прежде чем что то сделать - хорошо подумай, не надо торопиться, ибо могут быть очень тяжелые последствия, и эти последствия и легли в основу сюжета. И если внимательно проходить игру , а не галопом за первый день пробежать, то отчетливо замечаются переломные моменты в характерах персонажей. НО! Они не роботы и не живут в идеальном мире, за каждым из них груз содеянного и свой собственный опыт. В игре это отчетливо прослеживается и в диалогах и в поступках. И на всё это влияют события которые происходят с персонажами. Единственное чего действительно не хватает так это больше сюжетного времени друзьям Элли и Эбби.
    Концовка в игре тяжелая не потому что её запороли , а потому что персонажи не в один момент приходят к осознанию того что месть это тупиковый путь. А финальная сцена так вообще олицетворяет "рост персонажа над собой". Прошу прощения за такие расплывчатые формулировки , но без спойлеров просто не получается, а я считаю что многим любителям сюжетных игр эту игру нужно пройти самостоятельно и научиться отличать художественное произведение с моралью от своих фантазий на тему постапа.
    PS: Тему ЛГБТ в игре не выпячивают, все сцены к месту и у игры так рейтинг 18+, это априори значит что там секс , кишки и всё такое. А уж про сильных и не зависимых... В сюжете они наломали столько дров , что это скорее должно обидеть женщин , чем вызвать у них гордость. И ещё раз , серия TLOU про взаимодействие обычных выживших в ужасном мире, а не про поход клуба шахматистов начитавшихся книжек по психологии и формальной логике.    … Expand

    If you love the 1st part, you will hate this game. Although game play is great, the story is so disgusting.
    Every main chapters are counter logic. Hard to enjoy the game-play at all.

First thing that bugged me is that u didnt even play as Joel for 5 minutes, and they just kill him off the first hour of the game. and the main characters development was so ass, Ellies character was ok but Jesse, Dina, Lev etc. Ellies journey in Seattle was quite boring if u ask me. After playing 10 hours as Ellie, YOU SWITCH OVER TO ABBIE (the **** who killed Joel) and you play as her for 10 **** hours, and your forced to play as Abbie and fight Ellie. which is probably the worst fighting scene i have ever witnessed. another very big thing that bugged me is when main characters like Jesse and whatever the **** when they die they never get mentioned ever again. I cant make this up, when Jesse died his name was never mentioned ONCE and hes Dinas boyfriend and her kids father, ffs. After playing as Abbie for a painful and boring 10 hours and fighting Ellie and forcing you to beat the **** out of Ellie you finally switch over to Ellie. Ellie still wants revenge after that ****ty ass revenge plot when playing as Abbie and playing as her for 10 hours and fighting Ellie. Ellie goes to California wanting to **** Abbie up, and Ellie killed hundreds of people just to get to Abbie, and when she did they were walking together doing nothing for a few minutes until she got a flashback of Joel and now she wants to fight here,,,, i cant make this **** up such a **** ass game. when she fights Abbie, Ellie beats the **** out of Abbie which kinda got me hyped especially when Ellie was drowning Abbie, but then she got another **** flashback of Joel and she LITERALLY LETS ABBIE GO. so pretty much Ellie killed hundreds of people and lost two fingers and a few of her friends just for her to let Abbie go and basically Naughty Dog are wanting to tell us 'rEveNgE iS bAD'. i was waiting 7 years for this game and was so hyped when it they revealed the release date, it was supposed to be a good year for gaming.     The game has stunning ghrapichs, intense gameplay and a set of new and familier characters. The story might be a bit to dark for some people and some of the sections with infected are some of the most creepy and nasty things I have ever seen in a video game.

    It makes NO sense that Ellie act how she acts in certain parts of the game but that isn't even the biggest thing about why its bad. The reason is: character development. How do you make the player like her? Bring more and more backstory before she does what she did. Let the players play 2-10h as Abby when she was a child or whatever. The backstory of her is basically told in 10 minutes. That's it? And now I have to feel with her and understand why she did what she did? Hell no! That is weak story telling. Really really weak.

    Then there are all the other new characters. Nobody is likeable. Like really. They all feel empty. They are only shells without any meaning. This game is the epitome of the notion that "graphics do not make a good game".    … Expand
