    Bad story/writing, never before seen graphics and above average gameplay. I still would recommend the game. It is really beautiful to just look at and admire.

    Absolutely ruined.

    Whoever thought this was a good idea is a moron. I'm not going to go into spoilers, because its something I'd rather not spoil, get it from a video.

    Its genuinely AWFUL. One of the worst games ever potentially. You can't take what was a beloved franchise and **** on it.

    Game play is more of the same, story is worthless trash

    The story is cluttered but the risks they took with it and some of the concepts were pretty bold for this sequel and there's a lot that falls short but the gameplay is very fun, brutal, and satisfying and the graphically this game is phenomenal. Acting wise everyone does a fantastic job. The game is solid

    Probably the most freaked up game I ever played. By the end of the ultra-violent emotional rollercoaster my mind and soul were just numb. Even the "happy moments" are overshadowed by great darkness. In my opinion the feeling Naughty Dog were going for came through loud and clear. Arguably even to a fault... Sometimes it really felt needlessly melancholy/shocking, but there were so manyProbably the most freaked up game I ever played.     gameplay is solid, graphics solid, everything about the game is solid, except the story/writing. they're both abysmal, who let this get past concept??? the first game built ellie and joel's relationship and the bond of the characters, we grew to like each of them. i wouldn't mind not playing as joel in this game, or i wouldn't even mind having joel die in a proper way. but to make you playgameplay is solid, graphics solid, everything about the game is solid, except the story/writing. they're both abysmal, who let this get past concept??? the first game built ellie and joel's relationship and the bond of the characters, we grew to like each of them. i wouldn't mind not playing as joel in this game, or i wouldn't even mind having joel die in a proper way. but to make you play as a character that you don't chare about at all who killed the primary character in the first game, questionable move. what's worse is that she isn't a likable character at all, and they went really over the top in making her masculine, to the point where she's more masculine than any other males who are alive in the game, it seems ridiculous. the writing is also just absolute trash and i've read fanfics with better writing from 13 year olds.… Expand

They really waste the potential of a good story here with some of the writing decisions they made. Things feel really forced.     The death of a major character was extremely bad in its execution. For me this game really ruined the legacy of the original. Ellie and Joel were great characters in the original. This game was unsatisfying in so many ways.

    Neil Druckmann had an very uninspired vision for this project. While I think representing diversity was a positive thing in the game's storytelling, I also believe that character development was a failure- which ultimately cheapens the ambitious characters more than if they had just gone with a vanilla action-movie cast. You can be as ambitious with characters as you want, but if you don't build good characters, there is no element of comprehensive story telling.

    It took me 26 hours to finish "The Last of Us Part II". I don't understand people who give zero marks, even if they criticize the plot, but say that everything else is fine. I liked the game very much, I don't see any critical problems in it that make my eyes pop.
    Graphics 10/10 Story 8/10 Sound 9/10, Gameplay 10/10

    And, damn, what can I say? I love it!
    All the technicalities aside, the plot is f-ing great! I know, I know...You guys are pissed about Joel, and Abby but, like, why? Y'all really thought in this grim and nasty world of TLOU vengeance wouldn't come for him? Don't get me wrong, I loved that guy as much as I love Ellie and Tommy and the first game in general, but for me it was so damn obvious that he's going to pay for what he did. Simplest choice a writer could make
    Plot's structure is, well, unconventional, but approaching it open-minded gives you a chance to understand characters of Ellie and Abby more.
    Anyways, you can like the game or hate it. Just don't be an **** calling the creators names. They put their hearts and souls into this. Bye.    … Expand

I’d suggest that you approach this game with an open mind, Abby is actually an amazing character and her story is really interesting.

Por ese lado puedo decirles que Naughtydog es de los mejores y no defrauda en lo tecnico.
    Por otro lado... actualmente vivimos en un tiempo donde todo contenido debe elaborarse con cuidado para no herir susceptibilidades y ofender por accidente a alguien que tal vez ni es gamer. Con esto no quiero decir que las empresas y jugadores no sean inclusivas o que sean intolerantes, pero por volver cada cosa nueva en algo "politicamente correcta" se sienten los cambios muy forzados y solo para dar gusto a alguien, no permiten que las obras concebidas continúen de una forma mas "organica" y se vea con contenidos forzados que manchan una historia que pudo ser sublime.
    Tristemente eso paso con la historia de este juego tan bello , que nos llevo a un nuevo apocalipsis donde en el primer juego todos sufrimos y reimos con Joel y Ellie, sangramos con ellos, sufrimos con ellos, lloramos con ellos...
    Solo en sueños podre imaginar lo que pudo ser de este juego que espere por una generación entera, y que logro decepcionarme.
    De todas formas agradezco a NaughtyDog por el primer juego que logro ser el mejor que jugué en mi vida y mis condolencias por TLOU parte 2, se que no fueron ustedes y que solo recibían indicaciones de terceros al hacer este titulo.    … Expand

    Because it's raw, it's powerful, it's bare, it's crude... Because it's human on a scale you may have never seen before.
    There were moments where I genuinely paused the game, needing some air, because of a dramatic scene that felt like a kick in the stomach... And there were moments where I genuinely smiled back to the screen, in front of the cutest and emotional scenes you've seen in a videogame - even surpassing TLOU1.
    The amazing graphics and the beautiful soundtrack are the icing on the cake, the catalysts of this emotional rollercoaster.

    Also, enemy NPCs: another level of greatness has been accomplished here.
    They'll talk to each other, calling themselves by names, getting angry at you if you killed their companion, and exchanging information about your position.

    The gameplay isn't new, it's mostly a refined version of what we had in Part 1. Except for a couple of things:
    - The stealth feels great and realistic in this game, it's something you'll crazily enjoy if it suits you.
    - The level design is insane this time, elevating the gameplay to its maximum potential.

Но побыв с мыслями наедине и сделав анализ этого произведения, начинаешь испытывать самый настоящий культурный шок. В мире страха, ненависти, злобы, полных опасностей и смерти, скорей всего ты будешь пытаться сохранить хоть какую то человечность. Но в такой жизни всегда будет существовать Месть. Она будет уничтожать и поглощать человека. Затмевать твой разум и рассудок. Действия перестают быть логичными, когда ты идёшь на поводу у мести. Насилие порождает реакцию, которая обернётся в конечном итоге против тебя. Но в таком мире существует только серая мораль, где все пытаются выжить. Это произведение дает понять что главное продолжать бороться за свою человечность и научится одному из самых главных чувств - Милосердию.

    Стоил ли говорить что нибудь о музыке в TLOU2 ? Выдающейся Густаво Сантаолалья и очередное полное попадание на струны души. Техническая и геймплейная часть - нет слов. Весь актерский состав - потрясающий. Naughty dog во главе с Нилом Дракманном сделали одну из лучших видеоигр в истории, уже второй раз.

    Engagements are way more complex and way longer than in many games. They keep you on your toes and keep the adrenaline pumping. Weapon handling is very satisfying and there's great variety of weapons, enemies and strategies Having played the full game, I can't think of any better game on this generation. For me it beats Red Dead Redemption 2 (which is comparable in tone, looks, gameplay and scope). It looks better than God of War, which is saying a lot. Combat is as intense as any war game.

    A terrible pandering story that not only forgot how to write their own characters, but can't even focus on the motives of them in the first place. The story is awfully contrived & predictable only helped by the great voice acting performances, but ruined by the plot. This game is not a 95/100. It's closer to a 60/100 or even 50/100.    This game is an absolute insult the TLOU fans.

    A terrible pandering story that not only forgot how to write their own characters, but can't even focus on the motives of them in the first place.

    The story is awfully contrived & predictable only helped by the great voice acting performances, but ruined by the plot.

    This game is not a 95/100. It's closer to a 60/100 or even 50/100.

    Never have I been more disappointed in a game.

    Imagine if at the end of God Of War 3 Kratos didn't kill Zeus & went home to play guitar.

    На прохождении у меня вышло около 40 часов, проходил я не спешно смаковал каждый момент. У этой игры очень огромная концентрация контента, все время что то происходит то сюжетные перепалки, то в игровом моменте происходит просто дичь (в хорошем смысле), какие то перестрелки, где надо изворачиваться, стрелять, уворачиваться, бежать, прятаться. В    Это одна из лучших игр в которую я играл.

В начале игры где было затрачено около 9 часов моя оценка игры составляла около 8,5 чуть дальше середины 7, но когда я дошел до конца она составляла 9. Я не сразу решил написать отзыв, надо было над всем этим подумать. Через неделю я перепрошёл концовку. Мое отношение к ЛГБТ такое "есть ну и ладно хрен с ними что так у них, негатива нет, поддержки нет" , но когда тебя насильно этим кормят, ты думаешь " сука зачем, я же к этому нормально отношусь, а сейчас вы меня заставляете на это смотреть навязываю свое мнение" и все это произошло чуть дальше середины, и только этот один единственный момент, который мне не понравился, и этот момент подорвал меня знатно. В целом игра тянет на 10 баллов, но я поставлю 9, не надо тыкать носом в лгбт.    … Expand

    Fantastic Game! Very emotional in every way, you fell what the characters feel. The face emotions are really realistic which helps to dive in the game.
    The gameplay is really good and the cut scenes are high quality

    best 100 hours i've spent since the last LOU. I assume anyone saying it took 25 hours hasn't actually played it and is just a flat out bigot. I didn't think Naughty Dog would be able to maintain the momentum and gravitas of the first, since it was such an incredible prototype it seemed virtually impossible to follow up, but here we are.

    The game shows a fully constructed universe after the first game. It’s like a great movie with 30 hours filled by so many emotions. It’s nice to see how Ellie and her hatred can change the course of this history, but still make this game so interesting, beautiful and poetic. Such a masterpiece.

    You don't hear gumbas begging Mario to stop, you don't see Doom demons begging for their lives, or the lives of their parents. This "game" is sick, I can only assume that the creative direct harbors deep feelings of resentment toward women and loves seeing them debased, brutalized and vulnerable.

    I can only assume the access media reviewers did not get far enough into the game to see most of these cutscenes. I refuse to believe they saw this smut and still thought it was worth a perfect score.    … Expand

    Прошел я игру на максимальной сложности за 40-45 часов а так же собрал примерно 50% ачивок.

    Что было хорошо в игре,
    - графика и детализация. Мне было очень приятно расмтаривать некоторые локации и предметы. Атмосфера была сделала очень хорошо.

    - Лично для меня сюжет во 2 части лучше чем в первой части. Лишь потому что я не особо люблю "роуд муви". Это когда героям нужно добратся с точки А в точку Б. Это вынлядит так примитивно и понятно, что даже за сюжетом назвать нельзя. По этому я просто не люблю такое. Я говорю о сюжете без персонажей. Мы их обсудим дальше.

    - Геймлпей мне очень понравился на харде он давал хорошо так прикурить и я после этой игре стал слегка ненавидить собак. Хотя некоторые механики пропали и мне это не понравилось, к примеру в 1 части можно было скинуть вещи со стола что бы отвлечь врага, а здесь такого не было. Так же враги стали очень разнообразные и не то что в 1 части. Вот они были болванчики, а эти реально были сложнын, но не идеальные.

    - Вот что мне не понравилось во 2 части это персонажи, ведь они были на много хуже чем в первой части. Здесь я хочу сказать об персонажах и как они влияют на сюжет. По сути, сюжет в 1 части так себе, но все вытаскивает химия которая происходит между Джоулом и Елли. Если вы смотрели фильм "О чем говорят мужчины", "Зеленая книга" либо аниме ДжоДжо 3 часть. Сюжет который развивается в этих фильма и в игре так себе, но персонажи и их взаимоотношения делают арку очень интересной и тебе хочется за ними наблюдать и смотреть как же они развиваются. Уже эти события делают фильм, игру и аниме интересной.
    Если взять в целом, сюжет + персонажи, то конечно 1 часть выигрывает без сомнения.

    - Что осталось примерно на том же уровне но мб чуть хуже это музыка. Для мне треки во 2 части были чуть хуже чем в 1 части.

    Вывод такой, если вы не фанат стелс екшенов, то может игра будет вам скучной. Так же, если не нравится сюжетное повествования, аля сначала события а потом обьяснения, то вам скорее может не понравится. Но думаю, что у многих слегка были другие ожидания по игре по этому такой юзер скор.

    PS: Так же я бы отметил что данная игра ощущается другой. Я бы сказал что она не подходит под last of us 2(В англ есть такие слова как fit/suite вот как раз и они хорошо описывают идею), но это не означает что игра не может существовать либо она плохая. Она просто другая.    … Expand

The first game was an example of how game making of a single player should be done to really captivate the audience. This has now been followed up with another rollercoaster ride of emotion and enjoyment.
    As previously mentioned, the first game was an absolute masterpiece so as with any masterpiece you don't mess around with it. Naughty Dog have picked up where they left off and made small enhancements along the way. The fighting mechanics are now more agile and has you less worried about having your face ripped apart. The stealth aspects have been worked on to allow you to conserve your ammo but still eliminate the enemy effectively. This is not an open world game but you can still roam relatively freely to explore and scavenge supplies.
    The whole point of a game is to provide entertainment and enjoyment to the player. The Last of Us 2 does exactly that and takes you on another epic journey. The negative reviews are an insult to those that have created something very special.    … Expand

    The best part is watching the heads of bigoted immature gamer boys explode with rage over this game. It's been so enjoyable, boys! I wonder how many of them quit after the first 20 minutes, or when they were forced to play a new character, completely missing out on a chance to grow up a little?
