    Incredible game, the story based on hate is just something else, and the gameplay is the best of a third person shooter game.

    By far one of the best games I have ever played. The variety of detail is by far the best any game has ever offered. The game play is superior to the original. The story is a masterpiece. Naughty Dog I love you!

    Tecnicamente incrível, mas a história e o enredo do jogo são MUITO RUINS. eu me forcei a zerar esse jogo antes de Ghost of Tsushima e foi difícil, muitas vezes cai no ostracismo, a parte de Eliie é MUITO chata, só se salva o hospital, e a forçação pra por a Abby e a perspectiva dela, meu Deus, muito chato. Muita decepção até pelo primeiro jogo ser um dos meus favoritos.

I waited 7 bloody years for Ellie and Joel to come back, followed every news, watched every trailer or sneak peak - like many, many other fans out there. I replayed Last of Us 1 about 7 times while waiting.. just to get the biggest disappointment in a long time..     Gameplay is okay. The rope physics are amusing for a while, but the central component of a Last of Us game is the story. This is a straight up revenge story with even less compelling characters. Not original and not worth the price

    This rate is low, because you said "f u" to the fans with such "amazing story"! I would've rate 0 but the graphics, gameplay and everything else is great, so it keeps it at 1, could've been another masterpiece but you ruined everything at once

    I played this game for a couple of hours only to find they Had killed off My favourite characterJoel and replaced him with a over the top Buff woman who i hope did not have to play.

    This game was presented to us several years back as a trailer and i thought i was going to play Joel but i was lied to by their Marketing strategy. The visuals are Amazing.     The company called us fans who did not like it Trolles and haters. I dont like to be told what to play as a fan as i spent $99 AUD for this game as a cd. I took it back and got a full refund.

    The Journo Critics will say anything great about the game....But remember they get paid to play these games and get exclusive deals... I dont beleive in the Metacritc score as they are also misleading us as fans. Use your own judgment. Play to enjoy and have fun.. play the game and see if it is for you. Waste of $99 aud as there are better games out ther than this one    … Expand

    Without seriously I was not completely convinced and not by the characters if not by the plot in parts it becomes repetitive and boring, the landscape, atmosphere and characters are quite good, good lighting, etc.

    If there is one thing star wars and last of us fans can agree on is that pretending that the latest sequel never existed. The story is one big crime against Joel and Ellie and some fans of the first game Druckmann said that he cared about these characters (Joel and Ellie). The fact that they used false advertising just pisses me off, to the point where i take 2 points from my rating.     Simply put, this is THE BEST videogame ever created. A mature and gut-wrenching story, absolutely beautiful graphics, polished gameplay and the best sound design ever in a video game all come together to make this an absolute masterpiece. This is a new benchmark in gaming that will be talked about for decades to come.

    This game was a HUGE letdown... it hurts to say but.. it just has super weak story/writing. It’s non sensical as fudge. Illogical to the max... the gameplay is great but it’s not enough for me to forgive the horrid writing :/ that’s what made the first one so engaging & immersive. Now I really wished I had just read about those and made a hard pass on this game. Huge fan the first game. The story and the characters just melded together to make something truly special. However, that does not work with this title. The story and the characters in this game are awful and stupid to the point where I would not be surprised if they did get infected at some point between the first and second and their brain started to deteriorate. Okay without spoilers think of near the end of Batman V Superman where Batman doesn’t kill Superman’s because both of their mothers names were Martha and they suddenly became best friends after fighting each other nearly the whole movie. The only reason this game is not a zero is because the graphics, sound and gameplay are really good. If your in it for the story just go watch a let’s play and save the money for something better like Ghost of Tsushima.… Expand

    And yeah, this game will hurt you so much. It's really brutal. But it doesn't mean game is bad. It's so unfair to see so much zeros... I think the main plot is perfect. Emotionally it's like being on a rollercoaster. The atmosphere is dark and deep. Sometimes music makes more goosebumps than fear of zombies. The whole    I love this game. It's a masterpiece. What were you guys thinking? He could have had a death that suited him and if it was necessary to kill him at the hands of Abby, don't make her the character you play as. I struggled to finish the game because when it was time to play as Abby, I would rage quit. Joel did what he thought was right.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Overall I think this is a really great game but it has some weaknesses and frustrating aspects - and I am not overly sure on the overall message/story that Naughty Dog decided to go with. Major spoilers below.

    I'm in the camp that really enjoyed the narrative switch and being able to play as Abby. They changed the gameplay slightly in terms of the weapons available to her and how physical she is which kept the general feel fresh and that was important as the game overall can feel a bit stale sometimes because of repetition (puzzle, infected, people, puzzle, infected, people, set piece etc.). So I enjoyed that switch and I also thought as a narrative device it does work. I have to say that playing as Abby, I like her. I don't forgive her but I do like her, and mostly I wanted both Ellie and Abby to survive for the people in their lives more than any forgiveness for the things they have done. Both Dina and Lev are great supporting characters in my opinion and they're the main reason I want our main playable characters to end the cycle of revenge.

    The weaknesses of the game come from some of the repetitive gameplay in my opinion. I also think that the AI are unforgiveably stupid at times, although in saying that I only played it on moderate difficulty for my first run through.

    My main issue though comes from the relentless bleakness and the game seemingly implicating you, the player, in the horror and brutal torture that is meted out by the main playable characters. The game doesn't force us to kill Joel or Jesse, but it does force us to torture Nora, to try and kill both Ellie and Dina, and in that final beach battle it forces the player to fight regardless of how you might feel about it. I know it isn't an open-ended game, Naughty Dog aren't creating a "choose your own story" narrative, and that's ok - but I resent the game forcing us to make that step as well as the characters.

    I also wonder about the narrative choice - there are no good people in this world (or so it seems). This sort of links up to my above point but when you enter a situation where there are people, there is seemingly no option other than to kill them all (or stealth your way through to avoid them). There is no situation where you just meet other people, are wary of them, but carry on. In fact the game starts with Joel and Tommy saving someone, and Joel is killed for it. The only other time a stranger is saved is when Lev and Yara cut Abby down - and that starts a path of change for Abby. But the entire world outside of that is horrific, and the optimist in me just refuses to believe that in the post-apocalypse, you would only find one or two slivers of light amongst hundreds and thousands of people.

    However, really this is just a gripe with the overall world view of the game. It's not an issue I have with the story that was told within that world, and it didn't take away from involvement in the story. I'm still giving the game a positive review overall: even if you disagree with the narrative decisions, I think it's well worth playing all the way through.    … Expand

    It was...meh. I got through it, but I had to force myself to get through it. It kind of felt like getting yelled at by my mom when I was a kid. And the pressure to give it a high rating just because it's 'inclusive is' **** You want to play a good game that'll suck you in for hours and make time melt away? Go elsewhere.

    The game play and combat mechanics is still really good but there really isn't much difference here from the first game. There is only some small minor things... you would think after 7 years there would be some decent improvement or changes.

    The Story, the single most important element of the game - imo is a horrible experience to play through, one horrific bad s*** crazy thing after another. This story butchers the majority of characters especially the ones we have come to love from the first game.

    OK... I didn't like what they had done with certain characters but with one character in particular and the whole shocking scene with this said character had effected me quite negatively and from here on out I kinda had to FORCE my myself to play and finish the game(hoping there would be some good).
    Never in my life have I had to force myself to finish a game.

    We are then forced to play most of the story/game as a character who for me... well...hated(and probably for a lot of other people too). Playing as this now "hated" character makes it so much harder to play the game. The game has instantly lost its fun and interest factor.

    Poor character development... I won't elaborate to keep this review spoiler free.

    TLOU was and still is a fun, interesting, thrilling game to play and even though its 7 years later its still not bad to look at(graphics wise). The game has set the bar.... with the exception of the graphics TLOU2 however does not live up to that purely because of the continuation of horrible story events, poor character development and playing as a hated character through out!    … Expand

    que por su historia vivía agarrando a balazos hasta a sus propios compañeros, destacar el ego de Neil Druckmann al ponerse a el mismo dentro del juego como personaje para terminar muriendo tiempo después, en Tlou 1 podías ir en sigilo para no gastar balas, sin embargo, aquí no pasa eso, es solo reventar a balazos a quien se te pase por enfrente.
    Al tratar de poner esa inclusión con abby se arruinaba ya que varias horas del juego te veías forzado a jugar con ella, y despues de un rato quedabas cómo CONCHETUMARE QUE SE ACABE LUEGO ESTA WEA, otro punto negativo son las lineas de tiempo y la poca coherencia entre estas ejemplo un año mas tarde 5 años antes etc    … Expand

That said, I’m certainly not on board with everything the haters are raging about. Didn’t mind the shocker early on (remember, harsh post-apocalyptic world?) and didn’t mind the surprising twist in the middle. However, towards the end I totally lost my joy: the endingI wanted to love this game but it left me disappointed. Story, characters and dialogue don’t shine like in the first game. That said, I’m certainly not on board with everything the haters are raging about. Didn’t mind the shocker early on (remember, harsh post-apocalyptic world?) and didn’t mind the surprising twist in the middle. However, towards the end I totally lost my joy: the ending was stretching it, couldn’t believe the repeated quest, it was just ridiculous, had to force myself to play through it.     This game was fantastic gameplay wise. I played and completed it in the first week of release so of course there was 1 or 2 glitches, but for a game this huge that is to be expected. The gameplay was perfect, they took everything from part 1 and just improved upon it. I just wanted the game to last forever because the gameplay was that satisfying (especially if you enjoy gore). But just like the first game, this story makes you feel a lot of things, and due to the alternate perspective element of this story you end up feeling even more. I will be playing this game again soon.

    (Why only 9/10?) I feel that the story could have given me more in terms of answers. Anyone who has played the first game will know about Ellie's arm, this was mentioned/referenced maybe 3 times throughout. This story is not about a cure at all, this story is about living in this new world and deciding what you want to fight for and when you decide to fight for it or let it go. But this story never really climaxed, rather it just kept building up to not much and then hanging back a bit before building up again and then taking its foot off the gas. Don't get me wrong, there were a lot of emotional scenes, but despite the fact it is made like a fantastic film, this is still a game and we do need a story which gives us satisfaction through that gameplay (I.e pulling the trigger that finally kills the protagonist, or making the final decision to do the thing you were trying to do the whole game, or even choosing to walk away). Most of the important moments were just a cutscene, then we went back to the same (fantastic) gameplay.

    I would not want anything from the story to be removed, rather I'd want some of that story to be gameplay rather than a cut scene and some additional character development/backstory added for the unanswered questions.    … Expand

Pois, o game é um exercício de empatia, de se colocar no lugar do outro. Foi muito corajoso da N.D não só fazer isso na história, mas principalmente te fazer sentir o que as personagens sentem. Pois quanto mais você avança, menos você se sente recompensado de alguma forma, muito pelo contrário, quanto mais vc avança, mais parece que junto com as personagens vc se afunda, vc perde e o game fica cada vez mais pesado e angustiante. Isso pra mim é revolucionário e contra a maré de qualquer jogo existente, que pelo menos eu tenha jogado na minha vida, vc não se sente assim: "Victoria! Derrotei esse boss super difícil!"
    "Olha só, derrotei esse cara, me deu vários itens" Ou qualquer coisa do tipo. Vc se sente pesado e chegando nos dois clímax finais, caso vc tenha comprado a experiência que a N.D tenta passar, vc joga com o coração na mão. Se vc não compra a idéia, não será a msm coisa e provavelmente o jogo decai muito.
    A primeiro momento, achei meio sem sentido a morte do Joel, mas posteriormente parando pra pensar e analisar a situação, fez todo sentido. Logo, mudei de opinião sobre.
    A única coisa que não gostei foi o começo da campanha da Abby, não só pela raiva inicial. Mas tbm pq o primeiro dia dela, ela faz missões com pessoas que vc já viu a Ellie matar, então perde muito o peso, vc sabe que não vai dar em nada aquilo tudo ali. Depois que ela se separa dessa glr e principalmente quando se junta com as duas crianças, ela cresce muito e fica do caralho, cinematográfico.
    Tem até mesmo crítico de cinema fazendo análise das cenas do game de maneira cinematográfica e como uma cena pode construir de forma intrínseca uma narrativa.
    O primeiro é uma obra prima e esse segundo segue o mesmo e até supera. Tudo no segundo game é mais aprofundado e as ações dos personagens tem mais peso. TLOU II não segue uma receita de bolo da indústria onde vc avança de fase e ganha um brinde até chegar no chefão e derrotar ele, sobe os créditos, acaba. E se não tiver um multiplayer ninguém liga mais pro jogo e não falam mais dele, como esse que tem quase um mês do lançamento e estamos aqui até agora discutindo o mesmo. Por isso que demora quase 10 anos entre o lançamento de um e outro e não 1 ano como AC.

    The game is one of the best and at the same time the worst gaming experiences of my life, both in a good way. Well, the game is an exercise in empathy, putting yourself in the other's shoes. It was very courageous for N.D not only to do that in the story, but mainly to make you feel what the characters feel. Because the more you advance, the less you feel rewarded in any way, quite the contrary, the more you advance, the more it seems that along with the characters you sink, you lose and the game gets heavier and more distressing. This for me is revolutionary and against the tide of any existing game, that at least I have played in my life, you don't feel like this: "Victoria! I defeated this super tough boss!" "Look, I beat this guy, he gave me several items" Or anything like that. You feel heavy and reaching the final two climaxes, if you bought the experience that N.D tries to pass, you play with your heart in your hand. If you don't buy the idea, it won't be the same thing and probably the game will decay a lot. At first, I thought Joel's death was a little pointless, but later stopping to think and analyze the situation, it made perfect sense. Soon, I changed my mind about. The only thing I didn't like was the start of Abby's campaign, not just because of the initial anger. But also because her first day, she does missions with people you’ve seen Ellie kill, so she’s losing a lot of weight, you know she won’t do anything there. After she separates from this glr and especially when she joins the two children, she grows up a lot and gets **** cinematic. There is even a film critic doing analysis of the game's scenes in a cinematic way and how a scene can intrinsically build a narrative. The first is a masterpiece and the second follows the same and even surpasses it. Everything in the second game is more in-depth and the actions of the characters have more weight. In the first game, things happen and they don't seem to have a consequence, that doesn't. A much more mature game, unfortunately, the fans have not matured in those 7 years. The last of us does not follow a cake recipe from the industry where you advance to the next level and win a freebie until you get to the boss and beat him, up the credits, you're done. And if you don't have a multiplayer, nobody cares more about the game and they don't talk about it anymore, like the one that has been almost a month since the launch and we are here so far discussing the same thing. That's why it takes almost 10 years between the launch of one and the other and not 1 year as AC.    … Expand

This game is a Masterpiece -> from story telling point of view to gameplay and off-course the graphics (which is brilliant)as well.The story has different layers and understanding it is very important in order to get along and understand the characters(specially Abby).The game is divided into two halves ->1st half Ellie and 2nd half Abby and both journey's are brilliant and way different from each other.Each of the two characters has different motives in the 2 different halves of the story ->Ellie journey is motivated by revenge while Abby's is due to of guilt and debt. I hated Abby at the beginning but by the time both story merges i was more into her than Ellie and thats the beauty of this game and story telling , you'll just have to dive into it to actually understand Abby's side of the story and what lead her kill JOEL. Overall its perfect sequel to the 1st part with a worthy story.… Expand

The backlash from the old gamergate crowd has largely been the same as it was to the games that came out around the time I was falling for their tactics, forced diversity and all that.

    I'm not going to sit around and say it's a perfect game, I think some characters lack the chemistry that Ellie and Joel had in the first game, but the characters progressed in a way that was not unearned. Ellie finding out what Joel did at the hospital driving them apart, as well as the guilt of not knowing.

    The gameplay was not entirely different from the first game, but there were some aspects it improved upon. I personally feel like the weight of the weapons you are using really shines through in this game, even if some times it can seem a bit unrealistically gory for extra cool points. The puzzles, however, were a pretty big let down. There were a few great ones scattered around, but I recall one specific instance where I found a safe and was preparing to look for clues on the combination. When I began to walk around the room I almost immediately stopped, seeing the whiteboard that contained the code for the safe not 5 feet away from it in giant letters.

    The plot, the area most people are bombarding with negative reviews, is not lacking in most regards. The previously mentioned lack of chemistry can mostly be chalked up to the phenomenal writing of the first game and how this story just fell short in some aspects, but comparing it to the old masterpiece makes it look far worse than it actually is, the characters are still likable and don't really force and political agenda (unless you consider the existence of other races and sexualities political).

    All in all, give the game a try, especially if you like the first game, it builds on the old story and gives perspectives that we weren't privy to before. It shows the reality of living in a more brutal world and the consequences of the first game really play out in this one. Don't be fooled by a bunch of people who never even played the game (since most of the negative reviews came out within hours of the game's release) I think you'll enjoy it if you don't actively try to look for reasons it would offend you.    … Expand

    The game is AMAZING, graphics are mind-blowing, and the gameplay improved a lot. The only bad thing about this game is that it lasts too much. After playing 20 hours it gets a little boring because you do exactly the same things in the same way, and it gets repetitive.

    There are some exceptional executions in this. The graphics and animation are first class and set a new benchmark. The gameplay, though same as previous, has some upgrades and is more fluid than before. The environments are very beautiful, though a bit same-same throughout the game.

    Where this one goes off a cliff - and the reason we judge it so harshly - is that the execution of the narrative (rather than the narrative itself) is jarring to the point of offensive when you hold it next to the superbly executed original. Many people are angry at WHAT happens. I'm fine with what happens. It's a bit like the comic of The Walking Dead or the book The Road... its a bad place and can be brutal. How it was put together was like a case of bad directing, to the point that it broke the immersion and made the journey to the end of the game more like a slog, not a desire to see what happens. And the ending, without giving anything away, is just plain bad and has you feeling empty wondering what was this all for - what a waste of time and lives.

    It's worse BECAUSE of the brilliance of the first. Similar to how The Godfather Part 3 was in part judged on how Part 1 & 2 were so fantastic.

    Some rearrangements on the play out of the story, some changes to the way characters seem to forget who they were in the first one, and perhaps even a toning down of the at-times grotesque violence (how showing the slaying of a pregnant woman is required or acceptable really is beyond me), and this would be a worthwhile successor.

    As it stands, it does the franchise a dis-service, and I will only watch for a third installment with half interest... I no longer really care about what happens in TLOU world.    … Expand

    I never played the first part and I think that was a mistake. The Last of US Part II catched me like no other game before. The graphics are gorgeous and the music and effects are on place. The story hooked me like no game before.

    I'm going to dive right into this. I LOVED THIS GAME!!! It made me feel responsible for once! most games I kill blindly and without remorse as there is no real emotional connection between you and the npc's. When you kill an NPC and another finds their body or sees them get shot there usually a cry out of pain and possibly a name relating to the seemingly real life you as the player justI'm going to dive right into this. I often times found myself stealth a lot more, to avoid killing NPC's. Unpopular opinion...I prefer the sequel to the first game. I love the aspect of walking a mile in another persons shoe's aspect. I love the love triangles, I love the artistic way they show comparisons between Ellie and Abby, I love the fact that they don't focus on Ellie being a lesbian as it should just be a normal thing, I love the real fear that a character you love might just die at any moment. The list goes on. 10 outta 10 would recommend!… Expand

Playing on for a few hours, it grew on me. One of the most artistic design on any console for the past decade. The world was fascinating. Seattle Felt like your own home. Pace was good. Don't spoiled it on your self and look at the ending on YouTube...just play the game you'll thank me later , the game it self is long but well worth every minute and penny .

    It's not right to review-bomb a game that you haven't even spent some time in or given a chance. I watched TheRadBrad play the whole thing through and while yes, there were certainly... unexpected moments, the game as a unified whole is nothing short of a masterpiece--linear storytelling perfected. If you haven't gotten around to playing or watching it yet, I highly recommend that you do.

Эта игра вонзает тебе нож вначале игры,осторожно вытаскивает его,и во второй трети он с еще большей силой вонзается в тебя и в этой трети,а точнее в ее конце, этот нож как будто бы сам Нил Драник будет проворачивать в вашей спине,заставля идти себе вразрез,насильно заставляя делать то,что вам точно не придётся по душе.
    Про техническую составляющую не вижу смысла говорить. Красивая графика,красивый геймдизайн,красивые анимации. Прочее:очень хороший саундтрек- он сильно отличается от первой части,как по мне,стал более мрачным¿
    По поводу геймплея:я не монимаю придирок к нему,каким он должен быть-это не калл оф дюти,где вам могут дать турельную секцию с бесконечными патронами,это постапокалипсис,где у тебя один патрон в револьвере для себя. Единственное-эта игра сильно растянута,можно было убрать пару коридоров и арен,это было бы только на пользу игре. Она как жевательная резинка:ты ее распробовал,у нее кончился вкус,но ты продолжаешь ее жевать Моя оценка этой игре 8,5-9 баллов. Я давно не играл в игре,которые доставляли бы столько эмоций. The game plot deconstructs the plot and the main idea of the fisrt part. The fisrt part declares "You must get, what you want to. Price doesn't matter" And the second part asks "Does the price really not matter? And how big price can you pay?". Ellie's falling into the dark, when she started to kill everybody, killed the pregnant woman and became so cruel, and Abby's rising, when she saved Yara and Lev, swap them. Ellie started to seem like a villain, and Abby started to seem like a hero. So, when the end is coming, you can not understand: who you want to save. And it's great

I am at a 7 because I find it to have very fun gameplay it improved its game play from the first game in almost every way. When I was playing the game I was wondering how any one could hate this game? But that’s when I got to the part when Joel dies from Abby which made me angry because why would they do that but I got over it and got back into the game and I was in joying myself for about 12 hours when we were at the part I thought was the climax with Abby pointing a gun at Ellie I was very invested when we cut back to Abby as a kid when I was like what the hell. But I kept playing just waiting for the game to take us back to Ellie but it was taking a very long time so I googled how long is the Abby sections to find out it’s about the same length of time as the Ellie portion. That made me want to just stop playing since I did not like the Abby character. Naughty dog wanted you to feel for her.. but I just didn’t. Eventually we get back to the part where Abby is pointing a gun at Ellie when I’m like yes now I get to kill Abby but no we are still playing as Abby trying to kill Ellie. When you leave Ellie coughing up blood on the floor. Now it’s been a bit and you play as ellie again and you have a farm house with there baby living a good life when for some reason ellie feels like she needs to go kill abby so she leaves Dina which at this point in the game you don’t care any more you just want the game to be done but whatever you go to this place where Abby is to kill her but Abby has been put in prison and is very weak so when ellie finds her she lets her down then wants to have a fight when Abby bites her fingers off and Ellie lets Abby go making it all feel pointless. Ellie goes back home to find Dina has left her and the game ends with Ellie loosing every thing leaving you unsatisfied. Anyway the half the story I did not enjoy but the other half was great the graphics are the best voice acting is perfect and I had an ok time playing this game so I give it a 7.… Expand

I feel if the story was even just rearranged in its presentation I wouldn’t have been so bored, and apathetic through parts.     Phenomenal game! Kudos to Naughty Dog on building on an already great part 1. The detail put into this game has made it worth the wait. The only thing I will say to players about to jump in, is not to go in wanting certain things to happen. Instead start with an open mind and take the story as it comes and for what it is..     Great game. The technical aspects (graphics/music/animation) are top score. The story and the characters are well developed, maybe the plot development might not be for the taste of everyone, for me it definitely worked. It has of course its flaws, mostly related to the length, but after finishing I understand the need of it to develop the story.

    A lot of people reviewing this game and giving it a 0 is childish. The gameplay hands down is still fun and top tier period. Characters feel weighted like they actually exist in that world and everything looks beautiful. Sound is on point to the voice acting, the sound effects, and the characters were voiced good for what's it's worth.     Il primo aveva una storia bellissima, le pecche stavano nella ripetitività del gameplay e di alcune situazioni, qui invece abbiamo un gameplay bello, seppur ripetitivo, ma mannaggia che stupido il resto e che personaggi odiosi.
    Una storia di vendetta in cui ammazzi tutti tranne chi se lo merita, e dovremmo empatizzare con la protagonista.
    Molto meglio la seconda protagonista per coerenza, peccato che anche la sua parte sarà brutta narrativamente perché in compagnia di 2 personaggi orribili di cui uno politicamente corretto.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. An absolutely beautiful, sad, thought provoking and riveting game.

    It’s daring, unafraid of eschewing a safe narrative that would’ve cashed in on the emotional heft of the first game. The game made me consider that the idea of good/bad, right/wrong is often simply a product of perspective. It also looked at revenge and its ultimate futility and inability to fulfill or set right. The game is also about mercy, small or as large as they may be.

    I loved the new characters introduced, and enjoyed that the new playable character Abby had a different set of skills and strengths than Ellie. Playing Ellie as a ninja, relying on stealth to then play as Abby and not be afraid to get into a heads up fight was really interesting.

    Overall, the gameplay felt so good, and almost like what I would’ve wanted out of a more focused and story driven MGS5. I also liked the flirtation with some open world elements and could’ve even went for more of it, but this is a Naughtydog story based affair, so the linearity made sense.

    This game just worked for me on every level, and exceeded my expectations. I’m very glad I avoided the leaks and went in only peripherally aware that a controversy existed.

    The pacing at times felt slightly off, probably my biggest gripe. And some moments were downright painful or punishing but to me the game’s ability to make me go to those places was satisfying to me. It may not be for everyone, but it was definitely for me.    … Expand

    Now gameplay: if ypu like the gameplay in TLOU part one you will like this one, it's mostly the same with some variants and new weapons and options, the exploration for resourses and upgrades it's untouched . new enemies as well that you will need to lean how to dealt with an 8/10
    the story the most cotrovertial parto of all the game, i like it, but its not for everyone, you need to throw your expectations of what you want to see, and go to live what it is. The themes of moral grays and bad desitions are one of the main focuses, the mirror that is abby to Ellie and viceversa. how hate, anger, vengaence just leads to nothing and destruction. how someone can throw love, stability, family and everything they have in live just for anger. It leaves you thinking what was the point of all. and thats a bitter sweet conclution to a bitter sweet wolrd, my only problem besides some chessy dialogle its that at some points the pasing of the story feel aticlimactic, that i would have been presented the same events but in a differet order. but besides that its a compeling stoty with struggling chracters that you will learn to love, hate, cringe and lots of things. 9/10    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
