    Hello!
I don’t have a PS, I did not play the game, but I saw a all the game from beginning to end on YouTube.
I registered here just to support the development team, you are really well done, this is a masterpiece, without exaggeration I can say that this game will become a cult like the Lords of the Rings in due time.
You are great fellows, thank you very much for the work done!

The Last of Us Part 2 was so incredibly amazing and sad at the same time. I found myself so immersed in the game that I felt like I was actually apart of the story! Not worth it.... 7 years for this mess??? No thanks. ND tried to do something ambitious, innovative, artistic, not worked. Graphics are so good, but the decisions around the characters didn't work.

I cannot comprehend any of the negativity about this game. It's a beautiful masterpiece. The gameplay is thrilling and story is a roller-coaster of emotion. I didn't want a sequel to the last of us because I thought it was bound to spoil a perfect thing. Now I can't wait for a 3rd game to round out the trilogy.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A mediocre story. The characters are too bleak and poorly developed. The Last of Us: Part II is an undoubtedly story-based game. So my review will be focused almost entirely on the story. The gameplay is incredibly similar to the first with added movement options and different enemy types. Instead of following in the steps of its predecessor, the sequel throws away much of its character-development, atmosphere, and world-building for the sake of adding a playable antagonist. Despite early news promising the development of Ellie and Joel's bond, the latter is killed in the prologue of the game by said antagonist. Instead of naturally becoming a revenge story, the writers try their hardest to make the player emphasize with Abby - something incredibly difficult to accomplish if the player developed a connection to the protagonists from the first game. Characters close to Ellie die or abandon her unceremoniously throughout the course of the game in scenes that seem more reliant on shock value than good writing. Those who die are always taken out by Abby, and you'll occasionally play as her for these scenes. At the ending, Ellie saves Abby's life before challenging her to one last fight. Despite having two of her fingers bitten off in the struggle, Ellie gets the upper hand and is all set to drown the woman who has taken everything from her. With a brief vision of Joel flashing through her mind, she makes a disappointing decision to let go of Abby and allow her to get away. At the end of the day, Ellie is left with nothing. The player has gained nothing. The central issue that pervades the entire story is characters acting unlike themselves. Tommy and Joel give their names and home location to an armed group they just met. Jesse, who has been shown to have a level head, rushed through a closed door into a room that could have had any amount of hostiles. He was, of course, immediately shot in the head and killed. Ellie murdered possibly hundreds in her quest to kill Abby, and not only untied her, but she also challenged her to some strange form of honorable combat before letting Abby go free. It is not good writing. It's characters acting completely unpredictable just for something terrible to happen. It's like they can't create shock value without making someone act like an idiot. Lastly, there is no joy in The Last of Us: Part II. Not if you came into it with the previous characters in your heart. Every beloved character is dragged through the dirt constantly with no moments of reprieve. It's one miserable scene after the other. The only "uplifting" moments tend to happen when the player is controlling Abby. At the end of the day, there is no satisfaction for the player. None for Ellie. None for Joel, Tommy, Jesse, or Dina. You don't get your adventure with Ellie and Joel. You don't get your revenge. You don't get a glimpse of the hope for a better future that was present in the first game. It's devoid of hope. The only thing you get at the end of the day is a message that revenge is bad, but it falls flat once you realize that the only person who got their vengeance is the one that came out on top. Expand

But sadly for all the haters,it was even better a 2nd time around, and Quite honestly I struggle to explain how brilliant the last of us part 2 is,from start to finish, hour after hour of relentless brutality, all bundled up in a ball of emotion,revenge,regret,redemption,fear,horror,love,cruelty,etc...just carnage! With a roller coaster of feelings whilst playing it,I found I was completely immersed Into the story because of the writing, obviously, well also because all the characters are so brilliantly made, in every way,and naughty dog gave them a fantastic story too,I love the different perspectives we play from, the flashbacks and the action set pieces, all coming together beautifully, and all set in a world so graciously put together, either graphically,or through the story,or just the lore of the universe the game is set in,it all makes sense.
Truly the best looking game ever, graphically its second to no game, frim character rendering, gunfights, animation to the little touches, like backpacks swaying realistically, footprints in the snow, water effects, animals in the surrounding areas, and lumps of blown up flesh sliding down walls, and so so so many more all bring it to life...its such a beautiful and well crafted world,I'm so impressed and I cant understand the hate this game is getting, especiallywhen you see weak story based games not getting as much hate, really sad to see!! Perhaps those haters should go play minecraft or Fortnite, better yet, call of duty!!! Leave the adult games for the actual adults, who have been waiting for a game,of this fame and caliber anyway, that utilises, maturity, violence, epic stories and emotion, among lots of other reasons, all of their god damn lives! I cant reccomend this game any more than I already have done! Dont read,or watch the reviews from the haters, just play it,and fall into the game world,if you love mature, gritty stories, then look no further!
Best game I ever played, and I must say the elder scrolls and fallout games, and the star wars knights of the old republic games, were are my favourites,,so I'm not a part time gamer, and I know when I play a good game or not.
The last of us part 2,ticks all the right boxes,it continues an already masterpeice of gaming in last of us,the original game,...and dare i say it,betters the original! But then it's just my opinion i guess....please play it,before being a critical, band wagon jumping prick!!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I bought the original 'story driven' game The Last of Us, when it first came out on PS3, and absolutely loved it, playing it over and over again. So much so, I bought it again for PS4. I loved all the main story characters, Tess, Marlene, Bill, Tommy, Maria, Sam, Henry, all interesting, diverse, strong characters, but the dynamic of Joel and Ellie's relationship, their backgrounds, their personalities and the close bond they had at the end of the story just blew me away.

I watched the E3 trailer, and every one that came after, looking forward to another fantastic story with these two characters, and was sadly disappointed.

I'm giving this game a 5/10, because I buy video games for the same reason I buy books, to escape from a world that never let's you catch a breath, before pushing other people's ideals and agendas at you, and that is exactly what this game does. I've read articles defending the developer/director, stating that this is art and an artist has the right to make what they choose to make, I disagree, it isn't just art, there are certainly elements, but nobody would buy a piece of art, without seeing it first and ND denied us access to this with embargos, strikes, false advertising, lies and dishonesty and worse than all of that a complete disrespect toward the gamers who bought and loved the first game.

What's good (for me personally) : Gameplay engaging in stealth areas, new infected enemies genuinely creepy, great graphics, flashbacks with Joel and Ellie, new characters Jesse and Dina.. Oh and Manny's death, that's for the spitting.

What's bad (where to start) : Messy time lines, too many glitches, bad characters Mel, Owen, Abby, Manny, Lev and sister (can't remember her name), all with no character/complexity, all one dimensional. Seriously unsubtle agenda pushing (we have brains ND), character assassinations from previous game, backtracking on established lore from previous GAME (because it doesn't suit your AGENDA) Some bad voice acting, plot holes galore ( this was in the 1st game too, YOU CAN'T HAVE A VACCINE FOR A DISEASE CAUSED BY A FUNGUS!!! The dogs are irritating (attack dogs are not cute, yes I killed them because they're not real, besides I'm a cat person). Abby wouldn't exist at that size in a post apocalyptic world, the surgeon at the end of the first game was old, Abby's dad appears to be in his late 30's early forties which wouldn't make him old enough to have been qualified as a doctor nevermind a surgeon ( as well as the only person capable of making a 'vaccine'

I loved how the game was truly of revenge, loved how we as Ellie feel the anger and are hunting them 1 by 1. But whenever the game changes to Abby's perspective, it didn't work for me. I really wasn't into it. And what I don't like is yeah we saw who she was and everything but Ellie doesn't have a clue, so what's the point. I felt super forced to play as her and I didn't like it, I also felt that they tried to hard to show she wasn't that bad but Ellie was. And well, it didn't work for me. If I'm being honest, as a huge fan of part 1, if the game would have been entirely under Ellie's gameplay, and the story doesn't stop, this would have been a 10/10. Fck Abby. Expand

The gameplay, graphics, music, atmosphere, were good but I would have preferred that they focused more on the story than on those things, the truth expected more from the story, having the first game as a reference, I think the second part stayed very short, I do not criticize that they have killed Joel the way they did, nor that Ellie has not killed Abby because she is part of her humanity that she still has or any justification they want to give her, even in my opinion she was very Well that they implemented the LGBT + community and all those things, I just think it deserved a better ending after all because of what happened and I think that is what most of the community wanted, it was a very crude ending and they still make us play with the "villain" of the story, I understanding that they wanted us to empathize with Abby, but if it is a sequel, we play it for Ellie and Joel, who are the characters with whom we had already become attached and playing with Abby the story becomes very heavy for the same reason that we came to play TLOU 2 for Ellie and Joel and they still make us fight with Ellie, which I see 0 sense. I'll start off by saying that I don't think this game is dog$h*+, but it sure as hell ain't a great game, or even GOTY.
I'll start with what isn't good:
Story, Characters, Character development, and holes in the plot:
Known characters act out of character, and other characters aren't properly fleshed out, including at least 2 very key characters to the story, which result in players/viewers having either a mixed or completely negative view on them as individuals. There are actually interesting and likable characters in this, but only few overall. The story in it's current state is almost piss poor, having events and actions of characters both new and old that don't really make sense or just hurt the flow of the story and the player's experience with it. Some events even seem more about shock value than anything else. The fact that this is almost constant in the game doesn't give any help to it's case. And though they try to make this game into an intriguing revenge story, it falls flat on itself a few times, and just ends up.......weak and confusing to some, especially once the games over. Though I won't go into detail, once you play the game, you see these problems 2-4 hours into this 25 hour "experience". If you were for the story of The Last Of Us part 1, part 2 may not be your cup of tea.

Now, there here's what's good about the game:
Graphics, Design, and overall look is a definite 10/10. Every place you go to in the story has polish, and is just magnificent. The detail in visuals and interactions in the settings shown really make this game an amazing PS4 title in terms of visuals, no doubt the best in the consoles history. The atmosphere is also rich in each area, getting you in the right mood for the moment whether it be dread, nervousness, a sense of calm. Level design was alright and nice to navigate, but not really a large factor. Sound and music were very nice, in my opinion better than the first game. If you love visuals and sound, your gonna enjoy this game alt.

Now the game play: is honestly the same as TLoU 1, with only minor changes. Ultimately it feels mostly the same, which really will be hit or miss with others, but is a bit disappointing since it relies on old controls.

Overall, I have to give this game a disappointing 4/10. The game play will be fun if you like the TLoU gameplay, but if you didn't, it might seem mediocre to you. Graphics, and visuals are top tier, without question. The story will be the big hurdle, being VERY hit or miss with players (as seen everywhere online). If it misses, your experience will be ruined, with little chance of it getting better at the end. If it hits for you, then, you MIGHT just like the game up to the end.
The worst part about it is that NaughtyDog had almost everything for a good game in their hands, from the characters to the events that happen in game. Yet somehow, they messed up in execution. IMO, if the order of some events were simply changed, and some characters had more screen time , without any major character changes, TLoU part 2 would be closer to being an understandably great game, though not exactly the same as TLoU.

I didn’t get excited to watch, “Thanos: The Battle for Perfect Balance,” even if I don’t totally disagree with the titan’s ideals. I went to watch The Avengers, who are not perfect in so many ways, but I’ve been with them for over a decade and they have noble ideals; so they have become my family.
I beat the first TLoU three times and spent hundreds of hours in Factions, and thus, Joel and Ellie are my family. Being forced by Neil Druckman and Halley Gross to play half the game as the only person with a steady supply of steroids in the apocalypse, Abby, is just beyond infuriating. Somehow I’m suppose to sympathize with one mass murderer over another. Except, one spent years planning and carrying out revenge in the most barbaric of ways to show a truly sadistic mind.

This attempt to sympathize with a new character is completely forced and ill written. Abby is given all the best weapons, the coolest scenarios to fight through, and of course you get to play fetch and pet the dog. Then you have Ellie who has to kill multiple dogs so she can proceed through the story and even a closeup moment of stabbing Abby’s four legged furry friend. The only logical next step would be to give Ellie an evil goatee and announce her evil plans for world puppy elimination.

Ellie’s face is on the front cover of the game, not Abby. The collector’s edition comes with a statue, of Ellie. The most expensive edition is even named, “Ellie Edition.”

After they instill the evilness that is Ellie, they even try and pull all of her human qualities and force them back onto Abby nearly one for one.
Ellie has the Dinosaurs and Space museum with dad.
Abby the Aquarium and Zoo with dad.
Ellie deals with Jessie and Dina’s love triangle,
    Abby with Owen and Mel.

The comparison is so bland and artificial, in the second half of the game I was literally counting the wasted hours through Abby’s journey wondering when I could actually get back to where I wanted to be, with my Jackson family. I finally just turned off the game when I was forced to attack Ellie to proceed with the story. It tried so hard to make me empathize with Abby’s point of view, but once it forced the path to hurt my family, the game had crossed a line and was done.

Even away from the story, the clickers and human enemies have become so much easier to deal with in this sequel. In the first game shivs were precious because of their rarity, and alerting enemies was a challenge. Here, even on Hard, I can just work my way through almost any encounter with unlimited stealth takedowns and a bit of decent headshot aiming with very little fear of consequences. The only new clicker is just a bullet sponge with all the rest being identical to their previous version. Been there, done that.

On the plus side, the polish on the game’s visual and physical mechanics is one of the absolute best examples of the PS4 generation. The programmers at Naughty Dog deserve much more praise than I could ever give. I just hope their talents are not wasted on another ridiculous story with a forced narrative next time. Yes, the story is ridiculous. It’s trying to show you the horrible ramifications of revenge from a mass killer’s mindset when at the end of it all, nothing fundamentally changed. No amount of guitar mini games is going to save that.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I loved this game. It went a completely unexpected turn for me personal. The story was made in a way that you understood the motivation Ellie went through. But also the motivation for the "villain" Abby. Because we had to play as Abby for half of the game. So that when we fought as Abby against Ellie we didnt want to kill Ellie. But at the end when we fought as Ellie against Abby i felt the same way. I didnt want to kill her. And i think that was the intention the makers wanted to achieve. Theres always a different side, with different motivations. And i applaud the fact that Naughty Dog made a sequel that was completely different, and against expectations of what people wanted. Visually this game is the best of the best throughout the whole game. Everything was perfect from the details, the lighting, the sound design, gameplay and so on. And the fact some people hate this game because of gay characters, or someone whose transitioning is something i cant wrap my head around. Its 2020 people! Expand

And the way you could plan every kill, by either throwing bricks to make some enemies go away from one specific or to plant mines to kill off the stronger enemies while you silently take out the others. From me sitting scared during the clickers. But, sadly the story did not have it in for me. The chemistry between the new and the old characters did not feel good at all. I believe that the story could have been way better if everything was in a different order, I felt that I did not care much to play as Abby at all since Ellies part left uss at a huge cliff-hanger so I kept thinking about that instead of actually caring. If we played Abby first maybe it would have been better since we would have gotten more attatched to her characters when we later on took them down as Ellie. If they could have put it all in a different order in my opinion this would have at least have been a 7 out of 10. Expand

It’s also not often I buy a game at release let alone preorder. I wait for sales for pretty much everything. I preorder this and did not regret it.
I love the gameplay and really like trying different ways to take out enemies both human & infected. As well as trying to sneak through whole encounters untouched. Several parts made my heart race and I was trying so hard in real life to hear any little sound or spot movement, especially for stalkers. The game is dark and there’s lots of parts that genuinely pulled at my heartstrings. I hope there’s gonna be dlc or something like that because the ending felt a little missing. I get that not everyone likes the same things in a video game, but I wish people got less upset about someone enjoying something they don’t.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The gameplay was amazing, the graphics were out of this world, the environment and setting were very appropriate and did an amazing job of pulling me in and making me feel what the character should be feeling also. Anyone who thinks the visuals, gameplay, loading times, etc. deserve anything less than a 5 is, in my opinion, letting their anger about the game's story direction cloud their judgement.
One aspect of the game I especially appreciated was the small open-world section that NaughtyDog put into the game when Dina and Ellie first arrive in Seattle. It was fun to have a map with different areas marked and optional areas for me to explore and loot, it was a refreshing addition to games that are traditionally more linear from this studio.
The environment and interactions with the infected were genuinely terrifying at times. Crawling slowly through the dark and straining to catch even a glimpse of the stalkers as they silently snuck up on you, doubling back through the hospital to find doors that used to be closed now smashed open and knowing something terrible is waiting for you in the dark, crawling through the grass in a dark park and seeing people stalking closer and closer, all these scenes gave me a serious thrill and I thoroughly enjoyed playing through the game.
Lastly, the story. To qualify my score and my feelings, I played The Last of Us for the first time maybe a month ago, so I don't have 7 years of replays and discussions and game awards and history with the first game to have built up an attachment to these characters. I'm a newcomer to the series, fwiw.
That said, I really did like the story. I think the game did drag on for way too long and there were plenty of places I felt it could have skipped and the game would have been long enough still. Joel dying was of course upsetting and all the way through Ellie's first 1/3 of the game I genuinely wanted to find and kill Abby for what she did. Playing as Abby for as long as I had to was unexpected and by the end, I was able to understand her pain better and even if I still didn't like her, I didn't have the same hatred towards her. I think that was a big part of the point: seeing things from your own one-sided perspective only serves to dehumanize your enemy and keeps you from truly understanding and makes it easier to hurt and kill them. The game continuously made me understand and begin to sympathize with different groups until by the end, I didn't hate anyone and didn't want to kill anyone (aside from the Rattlers, they can go to hell) even if I didn't agree with what they were doing or why. In the end, both Abby and Ellie held onto anger and hatred for so long that they lost the people they loved, they were reduced to depraved acts of violence, they had to watch the people they loved die, and they barely survived themselves. Neither is the hero in this story, this is a story without heroes. Instead, it's a story about people and how we can let emotions and trauma take such a hold in our lives that it makes us toxic and we end up ruining everything around us. The story wasn't executed perfectly and there were some genuinely bad parts of it (the sex scene was really, really bad), but I found the game to be really enjoyable and a story worth experiencing.

Game mechanics are smooth (but there is nothing groundbreaking new in regard to its predecessor), graphics (especially scenery, animations and facial expressions) are absolutely stunning considering the current gen hardware and the story is as brutal and serious like it can be expected in respect to the world and the background of TLOU.
The point of the game is not about liking or for the most part even relating to the playable characters, but about regularly questioning their motives anew and wondering if the price that has to be paid is really worth it.
Part II is a deep game, it is an intellectual demanding and for the most part taxing and bold game. For me it was a great experience and I wouldn't miss it for this world.

I cannot promise that you will like this game. The user reviews have made it apparent that many more people dislike this game than I ever would have thought. Despite this, all I can leave you with is my experience: this may be the most perfect video game I have ever played. There isn't a single thing about this game that I don't think is brilliant, all of it seemingly necessary to deliver the one-of-kind experience this is. The Last of Us Part II is a bold, risk taking narrative, more than most of the narratives I have experienced in games, movies, or otherwise. I blame this facet of the game for the split opinions. I see many reviews claiming that if you loved the story of the original game than you will hate this one, and I can only understand that to an extent. I view the story of The Last of Us Part II as a cutting, poignant, heartbreaking, brilliant, complex, and moving continuation of the ideas introduced within the first game. I adore narrative, probably to obnoxious degree, and is something I prioritize heavily within the media and art that I consume. Factor in recency bias, of course, but as of now, this may be one of my favorite narratives that I have ever experienced. Again, I cannot promise that you will love this game like I did, or even like it, but if you are a fan of the original, or just narrative-driven games as a whole, I implore you to not let the user reviews dissuade from trying this game. For my money, this is perhaps an unparalleled masterpiece that is not only a deserved swan-song for the PS4, but Naughty Dog's magnum opus. Expand

This game is a masterpiece. Sure it has an emotionally devastating plot that has fueled a lot of negative reviews, but that’s part of what makes the game so great. Overall it’s a more developed story than the first game with great additional characters and multiple perspectives. Gameplay 10/10 graphics 10/10 story 10/10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last Of Us Part 2 was an emotional game for me, that took me on one hell of a journey full of tragic events, and moments that made me feel a little reluctant and uneasy. The fact that the game is so divisive makes the game much more unique and better in my opinion. Naughty Dog took some really bold decisions when it came to the story, and I for one enjoyed those decisions, and never did I think that I would play a game so personal, or would end up loving a character that I despised at the start of a game. The character development of Abby was one of the best things about the game, and this is where the game either makes or breaks for people playing it. If you are able to understand the character of Abby, then you are going to love the game and the choices it makes. But if you keep the death of Joel in your head, and refuse to let go the idea of revenge, then you are not going to enjoy this game. I think that the quote ‘There are no heroes in the world of Last of Us’ perfectly describes this game for me. It’s all about perspective, and the way you interpret the story is what makes all the difference. Yes Joel was a beloved character, and yes his death was painful, but the game needed his death, and I don’t think, Naughty Dog could’ve come up with a better story to justify the sequel. The Last of Us Part 2 is different from its predecessor, and is much more divisive and makes a lot of questionable and bold decisions, and these decisions are what make the game so appealing and unique to me. The same reason might lead you to hate the game, and that is completely fine. Art is meant to evoke feelings out of you, and just like every other good piece of art, it is polarizing. This is what makes The Last of Us Part 2 a masterpiece in my eyes. Naughty Dog have really outdone themselves and created a game that is so powerful and emotional that the story will stay with you long after the credits roll. The Ps4 has seen many great games during its life cycle, but I think that The Last of Us Part 2 will be forever remembered as a Masterpiece that did not shy away from doing things differently. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. As a massive fan of the first game, I will admit that the plot elements are challenging at first. Spoiler alert, losing major characters is a tough experience. However when you look at the grand scheme of things, I think the game is a magnificent experience when analyzing grief, loss, rage, and the toxic nature of revenge. I don’t penalize or judge a game based on the sexuality, gender, racial or ethnic makeup of characters. I don’t glorify either if it has a diversity of them. I simply look at a game and try to assess, from beginning to end, it’s quality as an experience, a character study, and as a overall story. In terms of gameplay, Part 2 has made drastic improvements compared to its predecessor. While some of the mechanics are not perfect, they still serve to improve upon the previous entry. I will level with you: the story is incredibly grim and to be honest, I would need to take a break every hour or so because I felt that the game’s events are pretty jolting, especially during the Ellie portion. I know a lot of users don’t like the shift in the game from its first and second part in terms of who the protagonist is. I actually find that to be pretty innovative and I think through that section of the game you understand it’s over arching theme as well as the political and human environment you play in. I would definitely give this game a try and form your own opinion. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Amazing game. The visuals are beautiful and the game lets you see trough the eyes of the 2 characters that both suffered trough pain. The game wasn't what I was excepting and I'm glad ND didn't chose for the 'safe route', but instead chose something to think about at the end. Spending the time with companions made the game very interesting like no other game can. I did not liked the 1 on 1 fights sometimes because of the wacky fighting, or the longs before another story scenario but I was willing enough to play trough it because I was very interested in the story.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story and the visuals were absolutely amazing! I'm sick and tired of everything labeling the game as "Naughty Dog's Downfall" all because of Joel being killed by Abby.

His death was going to come whether we'd like it to or not. He was a bad person, he did bad things. There were people coming after him and he knew that. That's why he already knew Abby had some sort of business with him.

I'm tired of everyone just assuming because Joel is dead, this game is horrible. Characters we love die all the time. Maybe I just have a better understanding of why Joel was killed, or maybe it's because I've played Danganronpa before and I can understand a death that had a bunch of controversies and different opinions on whether that character should have died or not. Or maybe Danganronpa just taught me how to not be a little **** when a main character dies.

There was character growth with Abby when Yara and Lev became apart of the story. She grew as a person and wanted to do nothing but protect those kids. She became like Joel in a way and I think that just really shows how she is as a person.

Some people are complaining about how Ellie wouldn't do what she did, but that's the thing about grieving. It can change you as a person. I've lost my mother-in-law almost two years ago (July 10th) and I'm not the same person I was two years ago. She was like a mother to me, and believe me- I would never actually harm a person. I don't like the idea of killing, but if I were in Ellie shoes- I would absolutely go after my parent's killers. It would change me as a person and I know this.

It really shows the true nature of grieving and the true nature of revenge. Nothing good can come out of revenge, and that was the message they were trying to place in the story.

Also, Abby's "backstory" wasn't there for a literal backstory. It was there to try and show you what kind of person her father was before he was murdered by Joel. That's the only reason on why it was there. To show her process through grieving too and to show why Ellie and Abby were so similar but so different at the same time.

The plot holes are there, I'd admit that- but I think they might have done that on purpose. There's already a discussion about making a part three, so maybe they left those questions unanswered so they're able to answer them later down the road. You never know- Naughty Dog might even post a DLC even though they said they wouldn't. They've done things they said they were going to do before.

All I'm saying is you can't hate or love this game until you give it a try and actually play it. Naughty Dog literally stated you'll either love it or hate it and that there's no in between. So go ahead and just get the game and play through it yourself. Give yourself the chance to experience it and create your own opinion.

This game, in my opinion, is nothing but spectacular. It has what I would say are the best graphics on any video game to date, the lightning is simply gorgeous and the colors really shine. The environments are extremely detailed and feel real, which adds to the game’s realism factor.

Gameplay feels very fluid and responsive, combat is very satisfying and the controls are perfect, much like it’s predecessor. The game gives you all the tools to tackle every situation of danger how you prefer, which makes the outcome more rewarding as well as making the game your own playground to fiddle with. The best part about combat and stealth is that the game, as stated, gives you multiple ways to handle the same objective. That sense of freedom is extremely fun and creates creativity in how you explore your surroundings as well as being strategic with how you play. Looting and exploring never feels boring in this game and sometimes scavenging can create unique dialogues or interestering new scenarios. What I like about The Last of Us Part II is that two people can play this game and have a completely different experience depending on how the choose to play.

Level design is nothing but amazing, each new area that you explore feels refreshing and you can notice how ambitious Naughty Dog is with creating areas that feel and look real. The level design combined with the amazing gameplay makes for a super enjoyable time that you never get tired of. The story is without a doubt the most hated part of the game. That is for the most part due to the leaks that got out a month before the game’s release. Some are not satsified with the way the plot was directed. or that they simply have a hard time caring for the game. Others struggled to really care for the characters or the enviroments due to the way the game was written, which I can understand. Personally however I can say that it is written in a sometimes messy way, but I still feel like the story is one of the best and more touching of video game history. This game was very emotional troughout the entirety of the game and it ended extremely sad. The game makes you feel, and care for Ellie and the people she loves. The ending really broke me emotionally. The story in my opinion was really great and it was so fun and interesting to follow the characters as they go trough an emotional joyride troughout the game’s story. Sometimes the games takes a minute or two to slow down and appricieate the environment or the situation, which I personally love. The Last of Us Part II is ambitious, bold, daring, emotional and powerful. Overall I think the story is great and powerful, and it really make you feel which a good story should.

The reason I give this game a 10 is that it is utterly amazing at all aspects and the amount of fun that I had playing this game makes me even more excited to see what’s next for Naughty Dog. No matter what, I think that this is a project that Neil Druckmann and his team should be extremely proud of, and you can clearly see the ambition and dedication to put out this fantastic game in every corner of it. This is a must play.
