    Técnicamente PERFECTO. La historia puede dividir, pero personalmente he empatizado con los personajes y la evolución que van sufriendo durante la trama.Me gusta como está contada, una trama madura, donde no siempre los buenos son buenos y los malos tienen porque ser malos.Sin duda uno de mis favoritos de todos los tiempos.

    Graphics and engine - 5/5
    The visual aspect of this game is a triumph. It really is beautiful to look at. The environments built in this game take the core feel of the original and improve on it in every way. I don’t think the PS4 is capable of producing anything that sustains this level of detail and beauty through gameplay and the “cutscenes”. I say “Cutscenes” because more akin to God of War these feel like an extension of the gameplay rather than the originals hard cuts to animated filmThe way objects interact is also a feat, with ropes of particular note.

    TLDR: The game is beautiful, and probably the most beautiful the PS4 is capable of.

    Gameplay - 4.5/5
    The gameplay is the same as the first game with a few fleshed out aspects. There are more stealth options than there was, and they allow for a bit more variety on how to deal with situations. The gunplay is solid, an iterative improvement over the original game, but enough polish to make it fresh-ish. Most aspects of gameplay were used sparingly so didn’t get repetitive. I did feel like the gunplay sections were a little on the long side and over the course of my 25-hour playthrough it did get repetitive. Personally, id have like them a little shorter between cutscene sections and set pieces, but I’m sure some people would them complain it was just an interactive movie. Can’t win!

    TLDR: Much the same as game one, with added polish and mechanics. Sometimes repetitive due to game runtime.

    Ah, the story. The big divide. The controversy, the hatred.

    Me? I loved it. Don’t get me wrong, there are a couple of places I rolled my eyes, and things that happen that I wish didn’t, but life isn’t roses. The events cause me to have a profound emotional response, and to me, that’s the sign of a quality story, even if it wasn’t quite how I wished it would play out. The leaks were thorough, and accurate, but in so many 1 star reviews I don’t see any mention of the story aspects which aren’t mentioned in the leaks, which in my mind are some of the key parts that gel the story together. I get peoples frustration, and if you’ve actually played and still don’t like it then fair play absolutely. I get it, but so many people might see these negative reviews and not even give the game a chance, and that’s a shame. I think the direction they took for the second half of the game (where a lot of the hatred applies) was excellently pulled off. The game makes you more aware of the repercussions of actions and while its very blunt and on the nose, I think this is a good anecdote for real life. Whether that’s what you want in your video game or not is purely personal preference.

    TLDR: Some people hate it, I loved it. Its emotional, it’s a rollercoaster, and its (in my opinion) very well written even if its not what everybody wanted.

    Conclusion
    I think the bombardment of 1 star reviews is unfair. It’s not for everyone and people are upset, but this game is a work of art. I hope that in time, when the world is a little less broken, and people are a little less toxic, more people will actually give this game a go and experience the story as it was designed to be experienced, not from some leaks.

    I personally loved the game. If you’re on the fence, give it a go, or wait till the inevitable price drops then have a go. It has its flaws, and it’s a very love it or hate it story it seems, so find out for yourself.

    Finally, if you are one of the people who hate it, refuse to play it, and reply to every tweet from Neil Druckmann or anyone else involved with the game or any tweet mentioning the game with absolute toxic hate. Go do the world a favour and grow up. You might be old enough to play the game physically, but I’m damn sure you’re not old enough mentally.    … Expand

You can feel and become Ellie. Also, this game makes you think about the story, about all the decisions and you realize no one is perfect in real life, why would everyone be perfect in video games?

But I can assure you that this game is a masterpiece. Sure it has its flaws like having to play as Abby for a majority of the game wasn't something I liked at first, but she grew on me.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Its an almost perfect game. Most people are upset because they killed Joel, but thats not the point. Everyone can die in TLoU universe because they are not superhuman. Joel and Tommy made a mistake and that costed Joels life. Its hard, and it made me cry, but happens.

    Most people say that they would preffer just another TLoU with Joel and Ellie being happy. Thats not TLoU and it never was. If you want that, write fanfic. They told the story they wanted to tell and its a sad and depressing story, but that doesnt make it worse.

    Lastly, f*ck those comments talking about a political agenda, lgbt agenda or any kind of agenda. You are just homophobic an transphobic, get over it.    … Expand

    This is the best game I played from Horizon Zero Dawn. Dont pay attention to all those homophobic simple people complaining. Love the story, felt so many emotions, characters are not stereotipes at all, graphics are crazy, and im willing to play again.
    Buy it even if u are homophobic, everyone needs the chance to evolve, so play it anyway.

    I can understand the criticisms regarding Joel's death, regarding the fact that Joel trusted a stranger. But they have to admit that the story is on another level ... The message of the story is incredible, how revenge ended up ruining his life and ended up destroying the only thing that joel left him (playing the guitar).

The negative reviews are all there because the story is controversial - but it drives the entire game, and if, like me, you don't let video characters emotionally control you to an alarming level where I would consider going to therapy - it's not bad at all.     When Druckmann said that the game was going to be divisive he wasn't kidding but hey it's common to every great piece of art ! When people will stop to talk about what they don't know (how to write a story and how to use a medium to it's full potential to convey a story) maybe they'll start to enjoy the game. For me, the medium game is well used here because what this game does with you would not work so well with any other medium. The game should be rated for what it wants to represent and it does it perfectly. Tetris is also a good game, but nobody would rate Tetris bad for its simple graphics. Unfortunately, that's exactly what people with TLOU do. The game is about hate that gets out of control at some point the more you indulge in it. Everyone who leaves a hate rating here does exactly what the game describes. It is a kind of mirror of our all-destructive society. Constructive criticism is important and always appropriate. What is done here with TLOU is simply not fair. Every gamer will benefit from this game because, as already mentioned, it is the new reference in terms of staging and other developers want to measure themselves against it. Have a nice day.

    Great graphics, great gameplay, Great story. This game is not as well paced as the first but nonetheless it is better in every other way! Both The Last of Us Part I and Part II are among the greatest video games of all time!

    I honestly really enjoyed the game. I’m excited for my second play through on survivor. I don’t think I have to explain myself. I understand that it’s not a story everyone enjoyed so I’m just gonna leave my score and be out.

    It’s amazing how many people are bashing this game, most of whom haven’t even played it. It’s definitely worth the praise it’s receiving from critics. Absolutely loved it from start to finish.

    Just like in a horror movie that causes feeling or fear, a Naughty Dog handles all those feelings in a way that I never felt.

    This game makes you think a lot.

I was very worried about a sequel, especially after all the vitriol surrounding the leaks.

    Now that I've played the game, I can say that it is indisputably a technical marvel. The combat is TREMENDOUSLY improved from the first game (almost feels as good as the Leviathan axe from God of War), and the NPC AI is fantastic. Also, the voice acting is stellar from top to bottom. Most complaints folks have been making revolve around the story design however, so that's what I'd like to discuss here.

    In the first few hours of the game, a horrific event takes place that has upset many players and fans. I have heard people say that it is lazy writing, and that the character decisions that led up to the event in question do not align with the characters involved. When I first experienced that scene, my gut reaction was to agree with these sentiments. However, as the remainder of the story unfolded and I personally reflected on the nature of the characters, I came to fully support the creative decisions made. I will be vague so as to avoid major spoilers, but I do want to (very humbly) offer a couple of general thoughts to consider for those who have or have not yet played the sequel. They’ve helped me better understand the writers’ choices:

    1. Remember that this installment takes place years after the first, throughout which our characters are in a community with amenities, security, and a culture of accepting outsiders. If our characters were the exact same as they were when we last saw them, this would be dishonest writing. Dialog and notes later in the game further support this character development between games.

    2. Consider the intrapersonal consequences of decisions made by characters in the first game. How could these decisions subsequently cause people to choose to behave?

    3. The world of this game is brutal, and nothing is too precious to be lost. Even in our real world, relationships and lives are cut short prematurely, and not everything is tied in a nice, tidy bow at its end.

    To conclude, despite how emotionally exhausting this story was, I am forever changed by it. Its dark moments were some of the most most brutal I've experienced in any medium, and the high points had me smiling from ear to ear with tears in my eyes.

    Play this game. With an open mind and an open heart. It is truly a work of art, and what I would consider an absolute masterpiece. Thank you Naughty Dog for your hard work and sacrifices in order to provide us with this experience.    … Expand

From the incredible direction, writing and performance to the mechanics, audio and visual design everything is given incredible care and detail to create the world of The Last of Us. Much like the real world, the world of the last of us is cruel, unjust and filled with shades of grey. The gameplay is an evolution of the original and tweaked in order to make it more fluid and dynamic thanks to Naughty Dog's use of "motion mapping", wider environments and robust upgrade system and most importantly a more fun game to play all round.

    The story itself is enthralling, brutal, with moments that span the range of humanities emotions. The story doesn't hold back, to do so would be a detriment to the world that Naughty Dog has built and left me as a player questioning conventions of good v evil, heroes v villains.

    Having completed the game, the negative reviews stem mostly from them not completing the game, or wanting things to go their way, but like some of the best stories, the World does not work the way you want sometimes.    … Expand

Many people dislike the story saying how jumbled it is and how difficult it is to enjoy. I truly believe that the intent here was to make people see how devastating the the path of revenge can be to you, and those around you.     I’ve read some of the bad reviews, and I have no idea what people are talking about. Most of them seem to just be going with the herd of trolls who set out to destroy the game’s ratings. This game is astonishingly good. You owe it to yourself to try this game for yourself. It’s every bit as amazing as the first one, and even better in my opinion.

    I thought it was brilliant. Some really awesome moments in there that no one seems to talk about. Blood dripping off the ceiling after using a trap bomb hahaha great new enemy types. Honestly I thought the characters were all good, had no problem with the writing

With the Dodge system implanted in Ellie, the fight is frantic and much more tense, the mechanics adopted by Naughty Dog was certainly an excellent Big Choice! The reaction (animation) of NPCs is very natural and real when they take a stab, a punch, a hammer, a hit with a crowbar or an improved stick, it is very realistic and brutal, looking at the combat scenes, we see how realistic the game is in all aspects, very impressive!!! The graphics of Part 2 is the most realistic in videogames, it is so Breathtaking!!!!!
    Finishing, Everything in The Last of Us Part ll is impressive, from the awaited Story to the incredible Gameplay, everything very impressive, as was said by Neil Druckmman (Director of the game): "The Last of Us Part ll has the Naughty Dog Engine", they managed to extract the maximum of the power of Ps4, reaching the limit of the console, something they themselves have done previously with The Last of Us Part 1 on Ps3, Gameplays so realistic, so cinematic, the expressions of the characters, animations, scenarios and Enviroments with very realistic graphics, very well made sound effects and the most faithful and close to reality, very well composed songs, a frantic and tense combat at all times, New impressive Mechanics, very well programmed NPCs that scare because they act so natural and realistic in different situations.     A total Masterplan, I played for 25 hours and I just never saw the point where people said the story went to **** the only thing I might not fully liked is that you had to play with abby when you where in the best part of the story but still, Abby's story got me, so I fully enjoyed and recommend this golden game.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
