    Questo gioco è semplicemente perfetto. I personaggi sono fatti talmente bene da sembrare veri, il gameplay è divertente e con animazioni ben riuscite (che è un piacere guardare), l'ambientazione è iper dettagliata ed è facilissimo rimanere imbambolati a fissare dettagli meravigliosi. La storia è devastante nel senso positivo del termine. Capolavoro.

    I love the game because it subverts my expectations, me hating the story and characters is the way is supposed to be. Neil Druckmann is a genius for making me feel frustrated, angry and shocked at the game, us hating the game is intended in a, not so subtle way but ends up being so deep, so sublime, so exceptionally stunning and brave. 10/10

    Look, it was clear that not everyone was going to like the story, it moves in a bold and stark direction but it’s real, visceral and painful and makes you feel it every inch of the way to the end.     The gameplay are improved, the graphics is top notch, the level design is amazing and it's well done combine with the puzzle. The story are about hate and I can feel the hate is something special here, I can feel the hate but in the same time I also can feel the sadness, the ending is mind blowing. What a game

    Interesting, how this monkeys have finished game in 10 hours. YOU have to play it on your own and FINISH it. This is storytelling, gameplay and technical masterpiece. Who ranks it worst game ever made or gives it 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 points is stupid and odd person that consist in herd of idiots. Indeed, herd.

    Game is really amazing. One of the best game of the generation. Naughty dog has improved a lot on previous last of us and made it much more better. Really enjoyed my play-through of the game.

Well, but this game have some strange things like - if you step on blood - you have a blood steps, BUT, if you crawling all body on blood - nothing happen)..     An absolute triumph. Deeply narrative. Great story. One of the best VideoGames ever made. It is weird to look at so many people giving a score of 0 just because the script was too much for their poor standards. The narrative is so powerful in this game, that I can only compare with great movies or plays, I mean the story is perfect, it is a Shakespearean tragedy and you cannot stop playingAn absolute triumph. I felt bad for all characters because all of them are credible as humans. There are beautiful moments but terrible ones too. The game system is over the top. The missions are difficult, but fair. The enemies are terrific. The game has many incredible moments. Scary jumps too. It is sad and mature and full of action, and it is long. The post apocalyptic world is perfect too. The graphics and sound just awesome. Load times are near zero for a so detailed game. Thanks Naughty Dog. This is not only a masterpiece, it is a art masterpiece. I just hope the opinion of all people crying “you ruined my childhood” don’t affect the future of adult VideoGames. I’m really sorry for all the people who just don’t get it. Is not common having complex and deeply narrative in a videogame, but it was wonderful at last for one time. Thanks again to all the team responsible for this incredible game.

Português - Primeiramente, é importante falar que a nota atual do Last of Us Part II dos "user score" desse jogo é 5.0 e sinceramente é muito baixa para a excelência que atingiu em todos os aspectos, desde o gameplay, gráficos, ambientes, as fases (nível) até as partes controversas como a historia. Realmente há margem para notas entre 8.0 a 10 e até o final desse review eu vou dar minha nota e me justificar, antes porém achei necessário fazer essa introdução pois há muito "hate" injustificável e essa nota atual não representa nem de perto a realidade do jogo na minha opinião.

    História - Vamos lá! O mundo de the last of us é sombrio e isso é fantástico. A tensão do jogo se instala já na primeira hora de gameplay quando o maior spoiler já visto na industria dos jogos acontece, joel morre, sim, joel morre. O quão chocante seria esse evento ainda mais com o pequeno deleite que há no incio do jogo enquanto controlamos joel na volta a jackson (base/cidade de joel e ellie), nunca saberemos. Porém, para mim e para muitos esse momento foi arruinado por spoiler que li no twitter. Entretanto, por mais que esse caminho seja controverso ele se insere prefeitamente no mundo sombrio de the last of us um mundo de sobreviventes de um apocalipse que mudou a trajetória humana e foi totalmente inesperado que aconteça na primeira hora de jogo. Além disso a assassina de joel e colocada e nossas mãos momentos antes sem que vc tenha ideia do que ela fará em seguida. Para mim foi uma grande surpresa. Ai começa a grande aventura ellie sai atrás de abby (a assassina de joel) e vc jogador no controle da ellie que vc protejeu o primeiro jogo inteiro enquanto jogava com joel quer acabar com a abby e todo mundo que se ponha em sua frente e jogo faz isso de forma fantastica com diversos flashback que vão deslaçando os nós atados no primeiro game como o final no qual joel salva ellie pois a cura dos "fireflies" (vagalumes) mataria ellie e ele não conta para ela a verdade até chegar no apice do game, assim eu pensava, quando abby e ellie se encontram para embate final em um teatro abandonado. No entanto para minha surpresa novamente o jogo retorna em um flashback para vc começar a jogar o jogo pela persepctiva da abby e vc descobre a motivação dela para matar o joel e joga um caminho de rendenção ate os eventos que culminaram no final do gameplay da ellie. Não vou mentir no começo da segunda metade do jogo fiquei totalmente desinteressado pois estava jogando com a antagonista porém o jogo é tão bem escrito e a historia do mundo em si e tão cativante que fui percebendo que nesse mundo ninguém é "mocinho e bandido" e fui me interessando por como o jogo consegue te mostrar isso através da historia. Quando chegamos como abby nos eventos que culminaram no fim do gameplay da ellie temos que derrota-la e por mais que eu não queria fazer aquilo pelo carinha que tinha pela personagem eu queria saber o fim da historia e para minha surpresa novamente aquele não era o fim do jogo que ainda teria mais um capitulo emocionante que acabaria novamente de forma surpreendente. Por mais que a historia seja controversa para os fãs do primeiro jogo e eu me incluo nessa categoria e inegável que foi contada de uma forma crível para aquele mundo sombrio e cruel de last of us nos deixando pensativos reflexivos muito tempo depois de terminar o jogo. Além disso, é preciso citar como esse jogo tem uma pegada "tarantino" nele, seja pelo enredo, excelente trilha sonora ou historia. Eu gostei demais como mexeu com o meu emocional de uma forma intensa como nenhum outro jogo já fez e serviu como uma luva nesse mundo que agora entendo mais do que no primeiro jogo. O gameplay e incrível seja o combate que te dá inúmeras possibilidades desde sair matando geral a não matar ninguém seja pela diversidade de inimigos infectados ou humanos com mecânicas diversificadas, a exploração e maravilhosa pois o mundo e incrível e vc além de achar diversos tipos de colecionáveis vc precisa achar peças e remédios para melhorar os personagens além de suplementos para confeccionar kit médicos e munição por exemplo. Há diversos tipos de puzzles de ambiente no qual vc precisa achar o caminho correto que são bem legais e os set pieces que são momentos de gameplay épicos estilo uncharted de fuga e tal que são fantásticos além de umas quatro boss fights todas muito iradas. O som do jogo é fantástico as animações são incríveis enfim esse jogo não é perfeito mais é uma obra de arte sem sombra de duvidas merece 10/10    … Expand

Love this game, the graphics are phenomenal and the gameplay is tight. The story takes you on an emotional rollercoaster.     Look back to narrative, as you can see from the reviews, this is definitely not a game for everyone. In fact I won't recommend it, not everyone has what it takes to appreciate this game: a strong and sympathetic heart. The story is dark and distressing indeed, and triggers quite a lot of negative emotions along the journey. But it also presents the most complicated, touching and beautiful relationship I've ever seen in a video game, and provides the most intense and unique experience.
    So all in all, I think TLOU2 is a masterpiece. I understand why so many people dislike/hate this game, but for those who can accept the plot for what it is and embrace it, this is definitely a must-play.    … Expand

    The writing, pacing, acting everything you loved about the first one is here. Only though if you think there was no room for it to get more mature, think again.

    The gameplay is also very refined and feels like a perfected naughty dog formula.

    Finished it. It's a game unlike any that I've played, and that's not always a good thing, though here, I believe it is. It makes you feel things rarely what game has the courage to even mention. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but I genuinely liked it.

    The last of us 2 es un juego muy bueno, lo he pasado después de alrededor de 35 horas y me parece un título bastante sólido, aun así pienso que en cuestión de historia este juego es inferior al original, sin embargo la historia no es mala como dicen las personas que no han jugado el título.

    No, el tema de ésta entregan no es "La venganza es mala" (Eso es una interpretación superficial, no culpo a quiénes solo llegaron a percibir eso) Para mí ambas hablan sobre la PERDIDA... Нереальная работа, проделанная одной из лучших студий мира, готов хлопать и воздавать овации ребятам из наути дог, в любое время и в любом месте. Браво!Игра просто бомба. Не понимаю, почему у всех так полыхает от сюжета, я оторваться не мог до самого финала, а после него, еще пару дней обдумывал то, что увидел.     By far one of the best games I've ever played. The best graphics, a great and entertaining gameplay. And the story is not bad, the only problem is that people simply get mad because it doesn't go the way they wanted. It has some flaws, but definitely don't deserve the hate.

The animations here are the best I have ever seen, in cutscenes that are acted brilliantly by the game’s cast, and also in the gameplay. Walking, running, fighting, grabbing objects and climbing looks and feels not only more realistic, but also smoother than in any game this generation. The soundtrack by Gustavo Santaolalla is amazing. The graphics, the details and the lighting create an outstanding overall presentation that makes you appreciate how much work has flown into it and sets the bar high for all the next-gen titles that will launch in the next five years.    … Expand

Please take the criticism circling around the game with a grain of salt and play it yourself. If you actually play the full game and let the story develop along with gameplay, you’re in for a great ride.     Not sure what everyone's problem is.. Seems like there are a lot of entailed gamers out there. I thought this story was awesome, but even if you hate the story, the game play is some of the most polished and enthralling you can play today. Anyone who gives this one star isn't being objective. Amazing game.

The gameplay is meh, the graphics and mocap are actually really good, but that was already expected, but the story was the biggest disspointment for me, it felt more like they were just making the experience miserable for the sake of "MAKING THE BIG SAD".     No matter who may disagree, this is one of the best games of all time. The story, the characters, the details, the music, the mechanics, THE FINAL, what a final... AWESOME AAA GAME. If you don't like it, you know nothing.

    Typically I buy games on PS when they get a decent discount but in this specific case I decided to purchase an Extended version on PS Store from the day 1 in order to support Naughty Dog!     -The shooting mechanics in Last Of Us 1 felt more arcade-y while in The Last Of Us 2 the shooting mechanics are more realistic. The weapon customization is simple but not intrusive, and give you a greater advantage over enemies.
    - Heavily improved animations in game-play sections compared to The Last Of Us 1. They feel more fluid and due to the technology that Naughty Dog have used, there is minimal input latency (one of the cons I had with Red Dead Redemption 2)
    -The game is much more gory and grotesque, as it should be in an apocalyptic setting like this.
    -Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson once again give a superb performance. Laura Bailey also portrays the newcomer Abby very well too.
    -The audio design is probably my favourite of this generation, from the echoes of the clickers through the hallways of abandoned courtrooms to the gargling noises made by enemies after Ellie hits them with a stealth kill. It's brutal.
    -The Last Of Us has upgraded visuals over its predecessor, but it is able to keep the same visuals as its predecessor when it comes to character design. The environment detail is unrivalled and the reflections in the water are beautiful.
    -The story is very cinematic and the set-pieces throughout are brilliant. There were moments throughout the story that were shocking and boosted the story, and in my opinion it works. If I could split this into three acts (Jackson, Seattle, Santa Barbara), the third act shines and leaves some interesting tidbits for a potential sequel.

    Cons:
    -The game-play is brilliant, but however can become repetitive due to the structure of the encounters being relatively the same. Some of the exploration puzzles are sometimes repeated but not too often to become annoying.
    -I would've liked to see more customization options in the game, specifically pertaining to characters. For both character upgrades and weapon upgrades, I wish that New Game Plus wasn't a necessity in order to unlock all upgrades. I want to be able to upgrade all of Ellie's skills and weapons in the first play-through in order to use them in New Game Plus from the beginning.
    -I played the difficulty on Hard and it was a very challenging and rewarding experience, however I believe the difficulty specifications should be adjusted. Playing New Game Plus on Moderate+ is vastly easier than Hard+, and Survivor+ could be infuriating frustrating for the wrong reasons. Props to Naughty Dog for allowing a custom difficulty where you can tweak certain aspects, however.
    -The content of the story is brilliant and I bear no problems with any happenings to the main characters. However I believe the structure of the narrative is off and certain moments could come in different order.

    Improvements?
    -Similar to the Batman Arkham Series, it would be great to feature some bonus Challenge Levels for Encounters.
    - I want to be able to replay a chapter and grab the collectibles I missed without resorting to deleting all game progress beyond that point in the story.    … Expand

    The story is bleak but engaging and pretty full on. Maybe skip this if you have depression issues.

    My only downsides so far is that I've encountered a couple of bugs. Nothing game breaking. The loot searching can get tiresome as well but that's like any other survival horror and it adds to the intensity.

    Last of Us was one of my all time favourite games. This one is at least as good, possibly better than the first. Overall would highly recommend.    … Expand

    Its graphically the most beautiful thing on ps4, its story is deep and heartfelt while also heart breaking. The attention to detail is incredible.

I understand so many people are mad about how they treated Joel however this is part of the story, I accept it and let the game finish the storytelling. I think it is unfair to judge a game just because of its opening. The best part of the story I think is Abby's story. It was so great and her relationship with Lev is so touching. It makes the game duo heroine and tells the story in a creative way: two girls, different story but related, opposite side at three same days. Many criticize that at the ending Ellie should kill Abby but in my own opinion, she should let Abby go. Everyone is their own hero in their own story. At the epilogue, when Ellie puts down the guitar, meaning she has grown up and walked out of the shadow of Joel's death.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I’ve been searching for people who suggest other storylines after claiming that it was « bad writing ». Every single one I read worked. And it was a satisfying story. A comforting one.
    Writers didn’t choose that path and that’s precisely what makes that game a **** masterpiece.

    Pretty much everyone acknowledged the quality of the level design, animations, visceral gameplay, sound design, music, lights, particles, physics, good timing for hints, believability of characters gear, storytelling through environment, and incredible attention to details in general.

    So what seemed to polarize people is that they feel forced to root for, or at least forgive Abby. One of the main angle of the series is that there is no hero. They pushed that idea further.
    They didn’t just try to humanize Abby, they showed you behind the scene of factions and around what values and codes the organize and survive.
    They constantly question you about the worth of revenge, but also personal vs collective motivation. And since every time you’d root for Ellie to bash the skull of anyone who hurts her, the game reminds you that you are no better than any of the characters. The story doesn’t try to satisfy you, the gameplay does. The story plays with your ethics and empath by constantly shifting the point of view.

    To address another thing I've seen many ranting about is that at no point they force any sjw stuff down your throat. They live in a world where people have to survive extreme threats everyday so a girl might look like a slender teen boy or be jacked like a mma fighter who don’t give a **** about conservative/progressive view on norms and canons. The focus is on the characters motivations and not what they identify with.

    Final point about the writing, every character has a unique presonality, gimmicks, an accent, all this incredibely well conveyed by the actors. If acting is reacting, this is to me the best example to date in a game.

    So I genuinely don't understand the hate. This is good writing.

    This games punches to your guts just after stabbing you in the same spot, and nails every detail of it.

Most of them haven't even played the game, let alone experienced it. FYI, killing off a beloved character doesn't equate to bad writing or story. IT'S A VIDEO GAME. It has to be judged by everything not story. Gameplay is samey but refined, the polish is incredible (it's a naughty dog after all) and the music and tone is phenomenal. This is already feeling like my GOTY. Form your own opinions ppl, not what the mob says and in this particular case, ignore the negative user scores.… Expand

    I’ve been playing it since day 1 release...and I just finished it..I shed tears many times..my mind was into the game and it’s atmosphere..the plot is so powerfull,way beyond my expectations...I’ve never seen such a story not in a movie or book or video games..I have to say congrats to niel druckman and his team for giving us a masterpiece..and made our life better than before thisI’ve been playing it since day 1 release...and I just finished it..I shed tears many times..my mind was into the game and it’s atmosphere..the plot is so powerfull,way beyond my expectations...I’ve never seen such a story not in a movie or book or video games..I have to say congrats to niel druckman and his team for giving us a masterpiece..and made our life better than before this game...I don’t know how they made this artistic game perfect in all aspect..just can say thank you and congrats to whole naughty dog… Expand

    The game features the incredible continuation of the post-apocalyptic world of The Last of us, in which our biggest problems are caused by humans and not by the dead. The Last of us part II is the example of overcoming, exceeding all expectations and showing how rich the franchise universe is.

There are moments in this game that are designed to make you angry and emotionally frustrated. I strongly encourage players to keep playing and push through those moments. They have an important purpose. And they are balanced by heartwarming moments of joy and love that you don't want to miss. I also recommend that, upon completing the game, you reflect deeply upon what you feel. Personally, I found myself still projecting the emotional state of characters I played, and I was experiencing the same internal conflict and difficulty of letting go. These feelings were far stronger than anything I have ever felt from any other story in any media. I believe this is a result of the genius of Naughty Dog's style of interactive storytelling. In a movie or a book, I often sympathize with characters. But in The Last of Us Part II, I find myself deeply empathizing with playable characters. It has been a revelatory experience.… Expand

    The initial hate about Ellie being Lesbian? C'mon, as if nobody played the DLC of the first game. Duela a quien le duela la historia del juego traspasa la fantasía y aunque entiendo el dolor sincero de algunos jugadores, no comparto la calificación 0 de las personas. Todo esto es lo que hace grandioso un videojuego cuando se logra de manera natural y perfecta dado que refleja lo que es la vida y la diversidad de este mundo. Si esperaban otra cosa porfavor, jueguen los otros millones de juegos que se quedan en la fantasía, lamento por ustedes que les haya tocado con este juego pero los riesgos tomados deben ser premiados. La jugabilidad es perfecta, gráficas excepcionales, un sólido argumento, gran iluminación y un broche de oro para despedir la PS4.
    Ah y recuerden, Metacritic va borrar las miles de calificaciones 0 dado que solo es hate del cobarde que se sienta detrás de un escritorio así que no pierdan tiempo. Para quienes lo jugaron y le pusieron una baja calificación, respeto la opinión.

    Loved every moment. 2 weeks until Paper Mario, it’s gonna feel like going back to the stone age. Boy saves pink Girl. After Marcus, John, Nathan, Link even pac-man, it feels soooo f***kn good to have ONE game that is about a girl but plays as a good game. That not the reason for giving it a 10.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
