    First of all, this game is amazing, every note has a story to find out like Boris one, every poster has a reference to the old tlou or an Easter egg, it let's you feel the pain, it makes you sad and let you cry. The story is unique since the Joel death till the ending when Ellie forgives Abby, but then Ellie lost everything, you can feel the same way as every character does

A los detractores del juego quienes quieren hacer de la historia suya, debo decirles que nunca entendieron la esencia del primer juego que está en el título "Us" . Este, es un viaje personal, nunca intenta tener un superUn increíble logro por parte de sus realizadores; una montaña rusa de emociones que nunca había experimentado, logré sentir el dolor de cada uno de sus personajes. A los detractores del juego quienes quieren hacer de la historia suya, debo decirles que nunca entendieron la esencia del primer juego que está en el título "Us" . Este, es un viaje personal, nunca intenta tener un super villano y un super plan detrás de la trama, simplemente es la evolución de los personajes y sus relaciones. Debo añadir que esos detractores tampoco entendieron que es totalmente coherente con el final del primer juego: las consecuencias que traería salvar la vida de Ellie y la mentira de Joel hacia a ella; también gran parte de estos deriva del odio hacía la inclusión de personajes diversos, donde las protagonistas no están "buenas" e hipersexualizadas; el otro porcentaje nunca lo jugó, pues es imposible haberlo terminado el mismo día de su lanzamiento. No cabe más que decir que estamos frente a uno de las mejores videojuegos, universos, obra artística o como lo quieran llamar. 10/10… Expand

    Good game. Not as good as the original but if you loved that one then you must play this one. I do not like where they take the story but I must admit the story works. It makes you feel.

    Pros Graphics is amazing. Both beautiful and menacing. Sound is very immersive and realistic. Combat is satisfying and horrifically brutal. Gameplay in general is satisfying particularly the    Good game. Not as good as the original but if you loved that one then you must play this one.     Pros
    Graphics is amazing. Both beautiful and menacing.
    Sound is very immersive and realistic.
    Combat is satisfying and horrifically brutal.
    Gameplay in general is satisfying particularly the environmental puzzles. It feels real.
    The zombies. They are perfect. Horrifying and terrifying and so so satisfying to brutalise.

    Cons
    Combat. In many parts of the game you brutally murder everyone in your way. But at the same time the game makes you feel sorry for some of them. If you empathise with those you kill then it's just not as satisfying to brutally stab them in the throat. So while this is realistic I put it as a con because it takes away some of the pureness of the enjoyment I get from combat. But they make up for this by putting heaps of zombies in your way that you can brutally murder and not just feel guilt free but in fact that you are doing them a mercy. Righteous killing us always more enjoyable than killing someone you don't want to kill but must kill in order to survive.

    The story. They do things with the characters I did not like. The story works but it's not what I wanted to happen. In the end it feels worth it. Pro tip when you think the game is finished, the story done, it really isn't. That's just a trick to set up the true ending. Much like red dead redemption did. I wony spoil it but this ending makes the rest of the game feel like it was almost worth it.

    The biggest con of all. You spend 10 or so hours as Abby who is a total piece of **** for most of the game. She has a redemption arc but for most of it she's a hateful **** and I don't like being forced to play as her. It does all become worthwhile. In the end. But still I hated playing as her.

    Something wierd I noticed. So many npcs were gay. Lesbians and homosexual and some transsexuals. If you sneak up on them they have conversations revealing they are LBGT. Then you are usually tasked with wiping them out. I have never killed so many LBGT people in a game before. I must have killed at least a few hundred in this game. I think i killed so many it should be classified as a hate crime.

    This is the best game in the last 10 years. It feels like it's not just a game, but a real work of art. The graphics, sound, and gameplay are amazing. The plot is intriguing until the end credits. The emotional nature of the plot makes you feel and understand every action of the characters. I passed the game twice at the highest difficulty levels. Druckman said the story is about hate and revenge, to me it is a story about forgivness or the missed chance to forgive and the realization that allowing grief to is a way to heal . Ellie is angry not only because she is driven by revenge but also because she wasn't able to properly forgive Joel before he died. So she wasn't able to properly grieve and let hate drive her.
    The story is awesome and multiayered and even though I was hesistant to play Abby in the beginning I came to like her and feel empathy towards her.
    Killing her in the end would not have made Ellie satisfied, but forgiving did!
    The game gave me everything I hoped for in a game: Anticipation, tension, fear, humor, sadness, every now and then horror and in the end it doesn't let you go and gives you something to think about.    … Expand

    To be honest this is one of the best game i have ever played in this generation, i respect the way naughty dog handled this story because they tried doing something diferent to what people are most commonly used to see, they made some risky choices, and in my opinion it was worth the wait.     This story broke my heart but in a positive way. It tells there are no heroes, just people, and how devastating can revenge be. I loved both Ellie and Abby. I guess creators achieved their goal. It's not the game we expected and not the game most people wanted, but I love it in any way. Gameplay, story, graphics and even the ending which left me in tears!

    The game tells of a story of Ellie looking for revenge as she makes her way through Seattle. Joined by companions and friends, Jesse and Dina, she seeks to right a wrong in this harsh and unforgiving world. As the story progresses, the player begins to unravel the complex relationship Ellie has with Joel about the lie Joel tells Ellie about the firefly hospital, and the justifications of one’s actions.

    The Last of Us Part II’s ideas on the morality of this revenge quest bleed into the players’ actions as the game progresses. Navigating through Seattle, Ellie kills hundreds of people in her quest for revenge. When killing enemies you may sometimes hear an enemy yell out a “Claire!” or a “Nate!”, indicating that the NPC you just killed had been a person in this world. For myself, this made me question, “Was this necessary for Ellie to do?”. Deepening the immersion into a world is what Naughty Dog excels at.

    With the upgrade in hardware from the original release of The Last of Us on the PS3, to the The Last of Us Part II on the PS4, the graphical upgrade was inevitable. As with the first game, Part II pushes the limit of the system it resides on. Beautifully rendered character models come alive with performances in motion capture, complete with all the fidgets and quirks of real people and highly-detailed environments bordering on realistic, capped with great visual and sound effects, as well as a top of the shelf soundtrack to complete the whole package.

    Part II raises the bar for excellent environmental storytelling that the first game had set for itself. In a more open design of levels, exploring the overgrown streets and abandoned buildings has allowed the player to imagine what once was before the outbreak. The game also uses the environment to lay the foundation for the two main factions present in Seattle; The Washington Liberation Front and the Seraphites, establishing iconographies and telling stories of conflict between the two, competently showcasing a world that feels grounded and lived in.

    Gameplay in The Last of Us Part II isn’t fundamentally different to in the first installment, but it does improve on it overall. Stealth and being smarter with the resources is still highly rewarded but as with the change in playable character does come a change in the pace and fluidity of encounters. Ellie is both smaller and more agile than Joel, which in turn, introduces different ways she can handle situations, such as hiding in spots Joel could not reach. This makes for a familiar yet fresh experience.

    Naughty Dog has made one of if not the most accessible games for players with disabilities. With over 60 accessibility options, the game has options for blind and low-vision players, fine motor hearing and deaf players as well as players with motor related accessibility options. Often looked over in other games, Naughty Dog has taken the time to add options other game developers disregard.

    The Last of Us Part II delivers a great sequel to one of the masterpieces of video games as a whole. It continues to deliver a deeply personal, emotional and engaging story in an amazingly-detailed world filled with well-written characters. A good story stays with you after you put down the controller and this is no exception. It is a must play.    … Expand

    Incredibly good sequel, improves on the original in every single way. I understand some not enjoying the story, but I thought it was very compelling despite a few awkward scenes, and dialogue. The gameplay is indisputably a massive improvement over the first, along with it's graphics.

But has so much to offer, the game doesn't stay in any of the two sides, it just tell a story, and that's something that not everybody see's.     Greatest game I have ever played. Truly takes your breath away how beautiful the characters, worlds and story is. The story I felt was a great continuation of the first and I hope they continue with a 3rd game. Don't be deterred by the juvenile review bombers on here anyone who has played the game loved it.

    I got nothing to complain about with this game. This sort of story is refreshing, it is actually funny to see that so many are incapable to even understand the game is not about revenge even if that is the story. I love the reflections that basically mirrors both POVs. This game resonates with me because I feel like the way this game is made,

    Para ser totalmente honesto, el hate desmerecido que recibió no se justifica con nada, es un juego totalmente pulido con una historia que se sale de lo común, no siempre los personajes pueden ser heroicos y terminar impunes, lo único que seria que se podría mejorar seria los fashbacks que son algo enredados para los que no se sincronizan la historia, pero el final me gusto y me deja conPara ser totalmente honesto, el hate desmerecido que recibió no se justifica con nada, es un juego totalmente pulido con una historia que se sale de lo común, no siempre los personajes pueden ser heroicos y terminar impunes, lo único que seria que se podría mejorar seria los fashbacks que son algo enredados para los que no se sincronizan la historia, pero el final me gusto y me deja con expectativas para quizás una expancion… Expand

    This game made me feel what it was like to really become the characters I was playing. I felt attached to the actions that the characters would perform and at times was genuinely sickened when I was the one having to press the buttons on the controller to complete them.

    I am a huge fan of the first part of the game and have played it through on PS3, PS4, and PS4 Pro. This game went steps further in every single area. It is a true masterpiece. I played through the game twice and for some reason the second time felt even more enjoyable. I will definitely play both parts again on PS5.

The details into the story, level design, environment keeps blowing my mind. One negative about the game is that the last arc seems rushed with all the amount of enemies. The casts are diverse as well and love the LGBTQ characters.

    I assure you that 80% of the people that rated the game bad have an emotional connection to Joel therefore were disappointed with how he died and how Ellie did not kill Abby for what she’s done. Ellie motivation for revenge was because of guilt not hate or demise. She felt guilty because Joel was killed because of her and that she didn’t forgive him before he died. I can explain why she did not revenge her adoptive father and kill his killer Abby. In the last “boss fight” you can see tears streaming down Ellies face as she drowns Abby. She suddenly got a flashback of Joel playing the guitar then let’s her go. Abby took Ellie’s chance to forgive Joel for what he’s done. She saw that there is no point in killing Abby because that would not help her get over Joels death. All she can do now is forgive Abby and move on.    … Expand

    La narrazione è intima, crudele, spiazzante e banale allo stesso tempo, rende il tutto più vivo, crudo, vero. Nella sua totale semplicità ogni parola permette di arrivare dritta al cuore e lasciare un qualcosa.
    Dopo aver finito il gioco c’è stato un momento di forte indecisione, ero stanco, mi sentivo svuotato psicologicamente, pochi istanti dopo capii che erano tutte sensazioni positive.
    Ed Ellie cosa prova durante l’avventura? Gli altri protagonisti? Sono stanchi, sono svuotati interiormente da un desiderio di vendetta che li divorerà come una spirale, intrecciati come l’uomo insegna, all’infinito, o quasi, fino a quando un qualcuno perisce o fa un passo indietro per ritrovare una sua stabilità fisica ma soprattutto mentale.
    Percepire così tanta intimità in un opera su schermo e soprattutto pad alla mano mi ha fatto vivere un’esperienza unica, ogni sguardo, ogni parola, provate a pensarci, non è mai messa lì, per puro caso.
    Per non parlare dell’aspetto Cinematografico dell’opera, una perla per il medium a cui fa riferimento, la cosa che ho amato di più è la scioltezza, la velocità e la violenza di un mondo che ha perso ogni logica, dove non si sa più cosa è giusto e cosa è sbagliato, raccontato nella maniera più cinematografica possibile ma restando e mettendo tutto a nudo, nella maniera più sensibile e coerente a ciò che accade, si percepisce la rabbia di Ellie, non ci sono i classici dialoghi in punto di morte con chi incontrerà durante il suo viaggio, l’unica cosa che desidera veramente è uccidere, i chi e i perchè li sapete o magari qualcuno di voi deve ancora scoprirli, ma sareste disposti a mettere tutto in discussione? è davvero giusto quello che stiamo facendo? Progresso tecnologico:

    Il motore grafico fatto in casa Naughty Dog e rimodellato per questo capitolo è stato capace di alzare ulteriormente l’asticella e posizionare The Last of us parte 2 come benchmark della generazione.
    Veder girare un titolo del genere su PlayStation 4 è un vero e proprio miracolo artistico e tecnologico, ma ci tengo ad entrare leggermente più nel dettaglio.
    Il rendering facciale, di ogni personaggio anche non giocante, e di ogni essere vivente e quindi animali compresi, è incredibile, ogni emozione è palpabile, le smorfie di dolore e di rabbia mentre in maniera infame e violenta e che in modo più totale non rispetta la vita umana si esegue un uccisione furtiva a sangue freddo da dietro le spalle con delle coltellate sui reni, non mi hanno lasciato indifferente.
    Ogni paesaggio, la sua gestione delle luci, gli agenti atmosferici, la neve. sembravano dei concept art in movimento, accompagnati da un Game Design ed un level design unico ed intuitivo, che va dritto al punto nonostante ci siano palesemente altre direzioni da poter prendere, al game design e alla grafica stupefacente si aggiunge la trama, il passare da un momento di narrazione all’altro e da un paesaggio all’altro poteva essere pesante, oppure un sollievo, ad esempio la primavera, le foglie per terra, i suoi colori, i cavalli, cosa può andare storto? Nel mondo in cui ci troviamo tutto, ma voglio godermi il momento.
    Per poi passare alla pioggia incessante, un vento forte, poca luce, vestiti bagnati, rumori di ferraglia e passi nemici, urla di clicker, un utilizzo dell’audio che raggiunge livelli altissimi sia in interni che in esterni.
    Il fuoco, le esplosioni, le luci, gli alberi e le piante che scandiscono il loro movimento in base al vento, tutti gli elementi a schermo, le animazioni di movimento più fluide e mai viste in qualsiasi altro prodotto sul mercato non mi hanno mai causato perdite di frame su PS4 pro.

    I love morally ambiguous and flawed characters and I absolutely loved this game. The game is a technical masterpiece, the gameplay improvements over the first are outstanding and the story completely engrossed me from start to finish.

    The outrage is depressing and tiring.

    Maybe the plot was a a little ridiculous, some events were too convenient for the plot to unfold, but even so it does not detract from the great work that the Naughty Dog team did, you can see the love, effort and dedication they put into this great work. Was a sequel to the first game unnecessary? Yes, maybe, but this second part is a decent closing for characters that made us love several years ago.
    Gameplay is just wonderful, the visuals are perfect and the music is gonna give you goosebumps every second.
    Give it a try, this is a must-play for the closure of the Ps4    … Expand

    I chose to wait a few days after finishing the game so I could process what I've played. and now I can tell you for sure that the last of us part II is a beautiful, sensitive, brutal and uncomfortable masterpiece (a positive discomfort I should say). I've never played anything like this. after the last scene, i felt a huge sensation that my life, my mind and the way I understand the worldI chose to wait a few days after finishing the game so I could process what I've played. and now I can tell you for sure that the last of us part II is a beautiful, sensitive, brutal and uncomfortable masterpiece (a positive discomfort I should say).
