But on the other hand, the story and the script that divide opinions and leave something to be desired, is a story that holds you to the end, a story that makes anger and the feeling of revenge enter the player, to disappoint it an empty ending. A ending that makes you think that everything you did in the game was in vain, all the losses were in vain, playing the TLoU2 campaign was in vain. What also hurt the players and fans of the game a lot was the main character, so striking, so loved, being killed in such a cowardly and very poorly told way. And still forcing you to play a good part of the game with the killer, "trying" to understand her side, but whoever played the entire first game, the game that made you admire, support Joel, failed to swallow Abby's story. But anyway, a beautiful game from this generation. Expand

They explore the concept of revenge in the story by making you play as both the protagonist and antagonist. This adds emotional weight to the story by making you realise the negative consequences of your actions. Although I’m still unsure of the ending, I think this was really clever story telling and I think this is a solid sequel!

The first chapter was, in my opinion, the best playstation game of the decade and one of the best gaming experience ever. With The Last of Us 2, Naughty Dog improved every aspect of the game from the storytelling to the gameplay and graphics. Absolutely amazing.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Graphics - amazing 10/10

Gameplay - polished from the first, still a little clunky in closed spaces 8/10

    Score - amazing 10/10

Story - okay overarching story. To me the revenge theme is fine. Did I expect more creativity from ND? Yes. In addition, the small things that made me love TLOU 1 are lacking: the idle conversations of Joel and Ellie when exploring, Ellie learning how to whistle, the dad jokes, etc. In addition, the new characters are overall interesting, but were not fully flushed out. Some of their actions didn't make sense. We should have explored them more. Like, why did Dina go with Ellie, why does she care so much. Why did Jesse join them, why was did he forgive Ellie so easily being with Ellie. They did so much more with less time with Bill, Henry, Sam, Tess and Marlene than with these characters over 30 hours.
Despite this, I still liked the story. I really enjoyed Day 1 Seattle Ellie and the later half of Abbey's Story rallied hard (the attack on the Scar's Island was cool) - though I did not like Abbey's Day 1/Day 2 Seattle. I did enjoy seeing the characters again. I did enjoy the world of Seattle that was created.
So if this wasn't a sequel to one of the best games of all time the story would be good, but knowing what ND did before I cannot feel but a little disappointed. 6-7/10 depending on my mood.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. If you liked the last of us you will probably find parts of this game you enjoy. However, the story does pale in comparison to its predecessor.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really liked this game. The atmosphere of The Last of Us 2 is great due to the excellent graphics and a huge amount of detail. The plot of this game is cruel, and many people did not like it, but I appreciate that the developers did not try to please the players, but acted in such a way as to leave the gamers with more emotions.

P.S. A lot of people who rated TLoU 2 less than 5 consider the pros of the game as cons. Joel’s death was so harsh on purpose, and not to “merge the character,” the game for Abby was not to “lengthen the game,” but to show that she also has many reasons to act like she enters etc.

P.P.S. If I made a mistake in writing, sorry, English is not my native language

A perfect game should entertain, teach, and provoke emotion (positive or negative or both). The gameplay and audio/visuals alone warrant top marks in entertainment. The lessons on empathy and futility of revenge are present, if somewhat on the nose; education isn't a top score here but it's checked off the list.

Finally we have the provocation of feelings. Similar to how a perfect feel good game, film, play, or book can make you smile, a proper feel bad story can make you frown and feel down inside. You feel bad but the point is that you felt something at all. It's too easy these days to find soulless cash grab sequels that illicit no emotion save perhaps boredom. TLOU2 is successful in this department. Not perfect, but successful.

10 out of 10 not because it is fully earned but because too many 0/10 scores were submitted by those who didn't play the full game in order to fairly pass judgement on the whole thing.

I understand there is an overwhelming amount of people disliking the game and at first I didn’t understand why till the very end. However, for the same reasons, I love the game. Because it forces you to make the same decisions as Ellie and Abby and that makes the weight even heavier. I remember having to take breaks from the game because of the emotional weight and anticipation of a violent confrontation because I feared another beloved character dying by MY OWN HANDS! This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don't have much words. This game is amazing and i will try to explain why with pure honesty. This games starts very brilliantly and at the same time, it shows a big heartbreaking scene. While you play as Ellie to try to avenge Joel, you will be given the chance to experience flashbacks of their recent past, between the first game and the his death. Those scenes were, in my opinion, the most realistic and the best part of the game. My favorite part was when joel surprises Ellie at her birthday, and i think i don't need to explain why. The song he wrote was beautiful and i shared some tears when ellie sang them after the event. The graphics are utterly unexplainable, they look next gen and i have no idea how my ps4 managed to run that and so well... I did my best to avoid spoilers, and that is obviously the main reason of this scores, because most people didn't give it the chance it so well deserved. I loved the introduction of Ellie's new friends and girlfriend, Dina, and even though i wished of Abby's death, i enjoyed playing as her and it made sense, she had her own reasons, almost as close to Ellie's. The message of the story is perfectly executed, in the end, both lost so much more while seeking revenge, and the final scene shows the realistic father daughter bond between Ellie and Joel. When she remembers how Joel brought light to her life, she knew that killing wouldn't have been the solution, after losing so much, she understood that revenge wasn't what Joel would have wanted her to do. The only thing i wished this game changed was reducing the war between the Wolves and the Seraphites, where it could be focusing more on Abby's story and connection to Ellie's path because i generally didn't really care about the seraphites, but that's just a small part of this unbelievable game. The game was indeed perfect and managed to become even better than it's predecessor, so i can only recommend everyone to experience this amazing and beautiful game by themselves. I score this a solid 100/100. Expand

If you're looking for a simple narrative and a nice warm feeling at the end that's not what you're going to find here. The game is brutal - both the gameplay and the story. I can see what they were trying to do with the story and while I appreciate the ambition, I don't think it quite achieves what it was trying for. That doesn't mean it's bad, it just doesn't quite hit the mark. Shortly after the second half of the game starts you'll understand what they're trying to achieve with that section - but at that stage you already know how that part ends so it really drags. They could have achieved the same thing in half the time and the game would have been better if they had.

If you actually play the game through with no spoilers the ending does make sense given what the characters have gone through.

Technically the game is a masterpiece - graphics, sound etc. are all fantastic. At least everyone can agree on that.

I can't say that I loved this game like I did the first - it certainly has its flaws. But I did like it a lot and I appreciate it for everything it achieves.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I don’t think this is a game about revenge exactly, I think it’s more about grief and forgiveness.

I'll start by saying that I am a massive fan of TLOU - I've replayed it about 20 times and the magic in the game comes from Joel and Ellie and the development of their relationship. I didn't “love” the TLOU2. I didn't enjoy it. I can appreciate the technical marvel, the game play (especially the combat) and the cinematography. I can even appreciate or accept the story that is being told.

But I feel robbed. And this is exactly how Ellie feels. And you feel that you been robbed of Joel, or the game you thought you would be playing, the game you waited seven years for. It's that visceral.

For Ellie, she knows that Joel loves her. She knows that she loves Joel. Anyone with a less than perfect relationship with a parent can understand the tension and the conflict. After TLOU, Ellie spends two years not being able to be entirely okay around Joel. She suspects that he's lied about something, but she doesn't know for sure. For two years, Joel watches his decision erode at the most important relationship he has in his life. Then Ellie finds out and it's destroyed. We don't see much, but I imagine that Ellie is distant and cold with him. Two years of their relationship imploding. You see Ellie depressed and stand-offish. When you see Joel his eyes are dejected, his shoulders slouch, resigned.

And then we have the conversation after the barn dance and there's hope that Ellie can forgive Joel and they can try rebuild what they used to have. When Ellie and Dina go on patrol the next day, Ellie says that she and Joel might watch a movie together. She has hope, she wants to try.

Then Joel dies. And Ellie is robbed. This is not just the death of a "parent", this is the death of a "parent" she spent four years directing her anger and despondence at. I'm not at all saying that Joel was not complicit in the bed he made for himself but I, like him, would have made the same choice again. A choice that saw Ellie date, watch movies, fall in love, wonder if she needed to shower or change her clothes. She knows that Joel's choice gave her that but she can't stop resenting him for robbing her of her agency. Until she decides that it's time that she needs to.

They never get to rebuild that relationship. I think part of why Ellie goes deux ex machina on her revenge mission is because of rage, not at Joel dying or at Abby, but her rage at herself. Her grief makes her incapable of processing any introspection so she directs it at the only thing she can - ostensibly revenge and at killing Abby.

The grief that you can personally experience is unknowable to another person, but TLOU2 makes us live through that grief by being Ellie. And we are angry, we feel robbed. And we direct that grief at Abby, because Abby is a straw man for everything that did happen and everything that doesn't get to happen. But Abby isn't a straw man, she's a person trying to survive and cope with her grief just like everyone else in TLOU universe.

I think Ellie reacts in the violent way she does because she can't forgive herself. And that's the forgiveness I think TLOU2 centres on - not forgiving Joel or forgiving Abby. She can't forgive herself for those four years that were wasted and that she and Joel will never have. And she can't move on until she does. In the final scene in Santa Barbara when she is sitting stooped in the water, she is defeated and a shell of who she was. That's what hating herself has led to. But she sees Joel and she knows it has to end. She has to accept that this is what has happened. It's never been about Abby, and she sees Abby and Lev and sees her and Joel and that for her to move on, she needs to forgive herself. It's regret and guilt that drives her, and destroys her. Not hate for Abby.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. - "Huge spoilers alert"

Where to begin... first of all, this is not the game everyone has been waiting for. At the end of The Last of Us, I was waiting for Ellie & Joel's journey to continue in Part II. I was hyped to discover what will happen to them in this game, and take part to their journey once again... that was my big mistake. Although I watched every gameplay trailer for Part II, I could never imagine the real story behind all of this. The only reason I don't put it a strong 10/10, is mainly my mistake, because I was hoping to play the game out of my imagination, while I should've let my imagination, and play the game Naughty Dog wanted me to play... Yes Joel died, yes you're obligated to play as Abby for way more time that you'd like to, but if you've never played The Last of Us, you'd feel ok with that, because you've never experienced the strong link between Joel & Ellie, and you wouldn't feel the pain that Ellie felt when Joel was killed directly in front of her... yes, I'm kind of trying to say that this game isn't made for those who've played the first part. What I'm also trying to say, is that all the critiques towards this game are caused by the fact that players got disappointed by the story, not because it is bad, but because it isn't what they'd like it to be.

This game is a masterpiece. Once again, Naughty Dog proved their capability to approach the scenario like no other studio is capable of. The graphical design is stunning, I could never feel myself as emerged in a video game, as when I've played The Last of Us Part II (maybe except the first part, obviously).

The first disappointment came, when I started to understand that it's been too long that I'm playing as Abby. I felt more & more angry, since I wanted to end this as soon as possible to play as Ellie again. This moment could've almost ruin my whole gameplay experience. I didn't even care about looting, I just wanted to finish... when came the day 3 at seattle, playing as Abby, once entering the aquarium and finding all her friends killed by Ellie, I finally understood why Naughty Dog did this. They wanted us to feel both sides of the story. When you kill them playing as Ellie, you only see them as enemies, not knowing what they've been through. But, once you end the journey of Abby, and realise what really happened, that's where things change. What really got me mad, is when I had to fight Ellie, beating her almost till death, while playing... as Abby.

I had the same confused feelings for the rest of my gameplay. I didn't know on which side I was, but I was curious to see how it would end up. In the final fight between Ellie & Abby, I suddenly felt bad for Abby, because I started to understand that she doesn't deserve this... or I could simply feel her pain, since I've been on her side during my gameplay. At the end, It got me kind of happy that they didn't kill each other. Although, Ellie lost two of her fingers... now she can't play guitar normally... maybe one of the most memorable things she had from Joel... those were the consequences to the violence that Ellie brought...

Neil Druckmann said: "people will either love or hate this game." I can understand his words more than ever, after I've finished the game.

I enjoyed Last of Us 1 and went in this game after having read the story leaks a few months back. Even with that, I did enjoy the game. The combat amd visuals really deserve praising, the way AI is created to simulate real people blew me away as I was disgusted by myself when shotguning enemies' arms just to hear them scream.. And with that aside.. Yes there are one dimensional charachter moments in this game and there are forced story decisions in this game and the ending is kinda dumbly executed, and the game ia guilty of pushing cringe romance moments that you dony wanna see.. But even with all that, the game is able to recreate a believable apocalyptic world with peoplr in it mostly scum that are trying to survive by any means necessary. There are also a few beautiful Joel/Ellie moments that everyone will be able to appreciate and even though the game is mainly based on Ellie being blindly hateful and making forced decisions based on trauma.. If you look for it, Ellie and Joel's connection is strongly embodied in the game ^^ Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. A game for a mature and high-minded audience, a game difficult to interpret, my rating will be justified.

Gameplay 10/10: Outstanding, ND does not fail in this installment, adding new systems in puzzles, dodge in combat, new melee weapons, camouflage in the environment, dogs as enemies, access new places breaking windows, among other things, I honestly do not understand the people who say that the gameplay is the same as it was 7 years ago, apart from what was mentioned I don't know what else could be added.
Extreme violence in gameplay with amazing details.

Graphics 10/10: The maximum that a PS4 can deliver, beautiful landscapes and very subtle cinematic/gameplay transitions that are hardly noticeable, impeccable.

Music/Sound 9/10: I do not put a 10 because it is not as incredible as in the first installment, it also makes you feel many emotions, Gustavo Santaolalla shines again with each of his notes, impressive work. Excellent gameplay sound, rain, wind, footsteps, weapons, all with detailed and accurate sounds.

    Spoilers

Story 6/10: This is where the game disappoints due to the high stick left by part 1, the fact that Joel dies is very shocking, both for Ellie and for the player, throughout the first half of the game you You feel the anger for avenging Joel himself, that finally if you understand the story it dissipates a bit. ND makes us see that in this game there are no heroes or villains, they are all people who make mistakes, they all have their reasons for everything they do, on the one hand Ellie is thirsty for revenge for the death of Joel who is like her father, and on the other hand Abby killed Joel for the anger generated by the fact that he killed his father, TLOU 2 stresses the cliché that revenge is not good and only brings chaos in its path, Ellie lost everything by revenge, but in the end she understood that even though killing Abby Joel would not return, that's why she forgives her, to end the cycle of hatred and deaths, Ellie realizes how important it is to forgive, she did not do it in time with Joel and it is what more It hurts (last flashback), many people do not understand and are blinded by the fact that Abby has to die. It is a very sad video game that shows the dark reality. My main criticism is all the time that they force you to play with Abby, too many hours, and worst of all, face Ellie in the theater, parts that NO ONE wants to play and you just let yourself die haha.

In short, a deep game that leaves no one indifferent, I will not refer to criticism of Ellie's sexuality or if Abby is trans? wtf.

Very good game, in which you don't have to wait for a happy ending.

(Sorry for the writing errors but I'm from Latin America and I don't speak English perfectly, blame the google translator haha).

The characters and their dialogs are awesome. The Gameplay is solid. Nothing really new or very exciting. It works, feels good and that's what i expected for this game. I do like the stealth system. I wish there where more games with that kinda mechanic. The NPC and enemy AI works really good and is acting naturally.
The biggest strength of the game is it's story.
If you like what's happening or not is personal preference. But you can't say that the story is disappointing or trash. Because that's not the case. And that is an objective meaning.

Graphics are insane for a console that's 7 years old. No Framerate issues at any time. The sound and the Soundtrack are also very good. And no bugs in my whole first playthrough. Well done Naughty Dog!

Overall a very good game and something i didn't saw or felt before playing this masterpiece.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is groundbreaking. Do not believe the ridiculous bombardment of negative reviews, as it’s doubtful most of the users have played through the game, and many of them have various agendas. Outside of this game being gorgeously rendered and designed, outside of the smooth and addictive gameplay, the powerful acting, and yes, AWESOME story and writing, this game challenges the player like no other to second-guess their feelings and provides nuanced, multifaceted views on the nature of vengeance, mourning, murder, and how mindless anger can cloud one’s judgment. This is not a happy game; if you allow yourself to become invested in the various characters, there’s a lot of painful payoffs, but it’s an essential piece of art in a medium that yearns for new stories and creative ways to tell them. This game will mess you up and make you feel things, and even if one of those things is anger, that’s okay. A must-play, and a game of the decade contender already. Expand

If all you want is a continuation of the story of Joel and Ellie, told in the same or a similar style as The Last of Us part 1, you are going to be extremely disappointed with this game. I LOVED the first game. I've played it start-to-finish probably a dozen times. Naughty Dog chose to go in a very different direction with the characters and story structure than I think most fans were expecting. After finishing the game, and having many ups and downs along the way in my own experience with the story, I can say that this game absolutely deserves the 10/10 ratings it is receiving for what the game actually is. I totally understand why some people are upset about the approach they took, and how it violated their expectations of what this game should be. But if you can get past the initial shock that it's not what most Last of Us fans expected, Naughty Dog has created something incredible and unique, and this story is something that will stick with me for a very long time. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First of all, It's a great game. Graphics are amazing, sounds are terrific, but repetitive. Game mechanics are well executed, but nothing groundbreaking.
The only problematic part is the story. They couldn't make you care for the characters as you did in the first game. Dina, Jesse, Owen, Mel? I could not care less for them. Abby is kinda likeable, but it feels really forced.(She also looks comical with the arms.)
The revenge of the revenge of the revenge is over the top too. The death of Joel can be justified, bur the way the writers have done it is dumb. They make Tommy and Joel look stupid when they give themselves out so easily to the wolfs. The PC part of the game also feels forced and sometimes unnecessary. They shove it in your face instead of enlifhtening on the steuggles of these characters.
The first game was so great because you loved the characters. You would kill for them. Part II just won't make this impulse on you, as it lacks such a great story and ending of that story.

Quite honestly anyone giving this game a 0 is just being ridiculous and petty. I get it, I loved the first one too and Ellie is a beloved character but c'mon guys. So much love was put into this game and other than the story, which I will get into in a minute, it's nearly flawless. The graphics are a 10, the sound design is a 10, the music is haunting, the voice acting is top notch...how can anyone possibly take a 0 score seriously? You don't like the story, fine, that's a valid opinion, but it's so childish to brigade the entire team at Naughty Dog because you disagree with the writers.
So as I said before, from a technical aspect this is among the best of this console generation and arguably toeing the line of the next. I am sure that there will be a PS5 edition that will blow us all away but I find it hard to criticize the quality of this game. Two minor nit-picks: Ellie's wet hair was too shiny to be believed and I was constantly jumping at the sound of my own footsteps at the barest touch of the stick.
The game play was also incredible but truly not much different then the first installment. Again, it's hard to find any fault in this area and would likely be attributed to my ineptitude anyway. I had fun throughout the entire game and played long stretches at a time until I finished up on the third day. I can count the number of games that keep me that engaged on one hand. It's fun and exciting and challenging enough on normal difficulty without being tedious.
Now, let's finally talk about the story. If I were to play this game without ever having played the first one and having an emotional connection to the characters going in, I probably would be just fine with it. Did it feel a bit heavy handed? Yes it did. Did that bother me? Not a bit. This is (obviously) a game about the futility of revenge, the ignorance of blind allegiance to a cause, and the real horror of violence. However, we all have played the first one or else we wouldn't be here right? I definitely had a problem with Ellie's moral decay. To an extent, I accepted the reasoning behind her rage but much like Dina's reactions as the game progressed, it became too much to understand. Eventually I grew to dislike her character and THAT was a huge disappointment as a fan of the first game. How could our beloved Ellie ever choose hate over love? WHY would you make her do that? This is almost certainly the crux of all the negative reviews.
If I take a step back from that glaring distraction, I will say that the protagonists were very interesting although maybe not as much as the cannibals from the first game. The Wolves were the stereotypical para-military group hungry for power, nothing too exciting. The Scars were pretty cool actually but I questioned their motivation as well, it seems like they had a pretty good thing going for them on their island. Would have liked to know more about them, especially the religion and their messiah. Maybe there is a DLC planned for this.
So, there ya have it. It's sole detractor is a big one and I would probably give it an 6 or 7 based on the that alone. It's a big story, and certainly engaging, but the way they did Ellie really let the fans down. However, the game as a whole is easily a solid 8.5 because of how well made it is; I rounded up to a 9 to offset the inflated (and undeserved) number of low scores. It's beautiful and horrible and punches you in the gut like you expect. The infected make your skin crawl and every basement I entered had my stomach in knots. I absolutely, unequivocally recommend it. You will be missing out if you listen to all the idiots down voting it like spoiled children.

Game of the year. Game of the generation. Game of the decade. Nothing else needs to be said.

Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last of Us Part II is a game that knew it was going to be hard to swallow. It knew that killing the main character from the first game in its opening hours was going to infuriate people. That people would be so terribly angry that he was crippled and beaten to death with a golf club.

“That’s not how you treat the damn hero of the story!”

That’s the point. This game wants to show you just how horrible its world is. How there aren’t heroes, there are people surviving and dying. What makes Joel special? The fact that you connected to him so well in the first one? The fact that he lost his real daughter at the beginning of the outbreak and that’s sad? The fact that he loves Ellie like a daughter And it helped heal his brokenness? So what? Tough **** That doesn’t give him plot armor. He’s a man that made enemies and those enemies caught up to it.

That’s not to say I wasn’t hurt when it happened. That I didn’t feel a little heartbreak watching someone that I also connected with so much back in the first game (especially being able to project on to him having become a father pretty recently at the time) get belittled and murdered in front of who was effectively his daughter. It **** SUCKED and I wanted to kill Abby for it. BUT that’s the POINT! I felt how Ellie felt (though obviously not to the same extent since he’s just a video game character) and I wanted revenge!

The scene afterward when Ellie stops by Joel’s house one last time before heading out on her revenge mission had me tearing up my living room. When she put her face in his jacket and breathed in his scent one last time...chills and tears. But it also put me in the right mindset for the game to follow. It’s sad, it’s depressing, it’s HEAVY. But it’ powerful too. Just like the first game, you follow a character who is broken, makes selfish decisions and causes pain to a lot of people, but from THEIR perspective it’s the right thing to do. There is no easy answer, it’s not simple “I’m the good guy, they are the bad guy” and it makes you really stop and think about everything from a much more mature and nuanced way.

And that’s just the STORY! To me the most important part of a game simply because I love single player story driven experiences but this is a game after all and it doesn’t sit well with me to only review the story.

The gameplay is very signature Naughty Dog and perfectly in line with the spirit of the first game. By that I mean the com at is intense, brutal, and sometimes claustrophobic. It’s also not perfect. I can’t really point out what specifically about the combat in Naughty Dog games that doesn’t feel QUITE right but I think most people (even mega fans) know what I’m talking about. You have a blast during the combat, don’t get me wrong, but the actual gunplay is outclassed by other games. Not a deal breaker, maybe not everyone agrees but that’s my two cents.

Graphics get a 10/10 from me. What more can I say than the game says for itself. The lush forest environments and overgrown cityscapes pop and are the most readily apparent example of course but even the drab, damp indoor areas lit only by natural light (in most cases) managed to amaze. This is maybe even MORE impressive because of how easily these areas could look flat and uninteresting. It takes a lot of work to simulate indirect lighting on a system that can’t do ray tracing but they manage to do it with amazing technical skill and talent.

What I’m saying it this game really is every bit what the reviewers say it is. Don’t believe the crap about paid-for reviews and people sucking up to a Sony and Naughty Dog. Experience it for yourself. If you don’t like it because you don’t agree with the story direction or what have you then that’s fine. Your opinion is valid and I don’t knock you for it. If you never cared about the game to begin with I don’t expect to change your mind with this. Just please don’t buy into the hate that spewed out after the leaks. It’s just isn’t fair to yourself more than anyone else.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The last of us 2 has seemed a good game in terms of gameplay and graphics, the feelings it conveys are perfect. But there are some details in the story that I didn't like, like being forced to play half the game with a character other than Ellie. I don't think any of us wanted to play with Abby since she is the person who killed Joel and we have no attachment to her and we also want her to pay for it. In addition to the game, it lacks a very important part: it allows us to make decisions on our own, such as giving a specific answer in a moment of conversation or making the decision to kill a character or let him live. Or that at least the game has two alternate endings, one in which Ellie dies at the hands of Abby and the other in which Ellie kills Abby and returns with Dina to the farm and can already live in peace because she avenged Joel.

Dont pay attention to reviews, they even finished the story nor play the game, they didnt had the story they wanted so thats why they are ranting.
The game is wonderfull in all fonts, it delivers a very intresting way to feel human in a apocalyptict world.

In many ways, Abbey walks out of the ending more positively than Ellie.

The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.

If you loved the original for its great characters and well-paced story – stay away from this game. However, if you’re aching to sink into the depths of depression, or just want to cut some throats and burn some zombies – Part II will deliver. [Issue#247, p.72]
