    I was a bit skepticical of this game. Due to the terrible user score. However I'm PLEASANTLY surprised in the quality of this new classic. Yes it makes some decisions that people don't like, that'll happen with everything. THIS GAME IS FANTASTIC please at least try it. You'll be surprised.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Last Of Us Part II is by far, the most unique, deep, and touching game I've ever played. It's far from being a perfect game but even when it lacks logic and goes around what fans liked about the first one, the absolute perfect gameplay, storytelling, and profoundness that NaughtyDog is known for always comes through. I found myself slightly disappointed with a lot of twists in the story and gameplay decisions (playing as Abby for example), but the way the game surrounds you with emotion, dilemma, and outstanding level design really makes most of the problems I had with the story worth it. I had a tough time figuring out how I felt while playing the game, I wasn't sure if I was liking it or not, but when I saw the end credits and my reflection on the black background, I realized they've done it again. As polarizing as this game is, NaughtyDog reaffirms itself as the best Triple-A developer there is today. The Last of Us Part II goes beyond political and social statements. The vengeful, obsessive and immersive story alongside the best graphic and level design I've experienced in a long time, come together to deliver an all-time must play and so far, the game of the year.… Expand

The gameplay is good, and the graphic is amazing, but the true appeal comes from the story and the characters. I can understand how people felt betrayed by the early death of Joel and the bloody circle of violence this puts in action, but I guess this is not a game for everyone. The only two complaints I have are the AI of the companions (that sometimes gets in the way while you are trying to sneak around) and, maybe, a big of heavy handedness in including a transexual character in the game. I'm all about inclusiveness (and I did appreciate other trans characters in other games, like in dragon age Inquisition) but, in the case of Lev, I have the feeling that he could have been handled better.

    None of these things, anyway, make the experience any less enjoyable... even though "enjoyable" isn't really the best word to describe this game.    … Expand

TLOU2 along with the first part are both 10 out of 10 masterpieces, you won't agree with me but that's ok, I won't agree with your 1 out of 10 score but that's also ok.

    There are so many reason I can tell you why this game deserves    I can't say anything that haven't been said already, other than, do not ever base a game upon it's score. Play the game, or watch it whatever and then decide.     O jogo e lindo em todos os aspectos, sinceramente ele não e nota 10, tem algumas falhas, mas em geral, você se emociona, se diverte e fica puto. Os gráficos são incríves, mas percebi alguns erros toscos no PS4 normal (falaram que o Pro é bem superior), a jogabilidade e ótima, o sistema de esquiva foi um adicional que mudou praticamente o combate em Tlous, para melhor, mas na minha opnião aO jogo e lindo em todos os aspectos, sinceramente ele não e nota 10, tem algumas falhas, mas em geral, você se emociona, se diverte e fica puto. Os gráficos são incríves, mas percebi alguns erros toscos no PS4 normal (falaram que o Pro é bem superior), a jogabilidade e ótima, o sistema de esquiva foi um adicional que mudou praticamente o combate em Tlous, para melhor, mas na minha opnião a parte mais difícil do jogo é deixa recurso para tras, isso de gasta é logo na frente tem mais, não deixa acumular quase nada e não benificiar aqueles que exploram é tem cuidado com seus recursos, ficou bastante chato, a historia é emocionante, mas confesso, que as vezes ficou um pouco enfadonha, as vezes você para e pensa, o que to fazendo aqui. rsrsrs Acho que se reduzisse a parte de Abby em 1/3 ficaria mais imersivo. A lot of people are showing hate to this game simply because they feel way too attached to characters from the first game. Especially considering that the game is set in a post apocalyptic world where people die at any moment in the most unexpected ways. It’s because of these angering yet realistic and haunting moments that make this game beautiful. People who couldn’t see this are stuck in fairy tales where main characters dance around a lilyfield. I thought naughty dog captured this dark, realistic post apocalyptic setting brilliantly. The new characters introduce a new dynamic to the game which tells stories of how morals have been changed amongst the new generation depicted by the “scars” (especially lev as we hear him question human behaviours which we deem normal which he either doesn’t believe, know or understand). Even I was slightly discouraged by the change in characters after playing Ellie, but the character development was done well enough that I was eventually absorbed by abbys story and forgot the emotions that Ellie’s side presented throughout her play through.… Expand

Honestly I don't see why all the hate, I played the game only having seeing the E3 trailers and playing the first game, I can understand why people wouldn't like the ending but for me it's the perfect ending, the gameplay is amazing, the graphics are phenomenal and the acting/voice acting is perfect. Yes, the story could be better but I like how they kill off characters and really like playing with both the "villain" and the "hero" which I don't this story really doesn't have.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is delightful and devastating game. It lands entirely differently once you play it. You cannot watch it or read it to feel what the game wants you to feel - it is a breathtaking work of interactive art.

    There are some challenging, divisive and risky-as-hell choices, no question. They won't work for everyone and its clear they are not supposed to. But,the craft and passion that went into creating this game is STAGGERING. The team deserves way more respect then they are getting. People worked to the bone to craft an experience like this. It does something that only a video game can do. Many people call the writing bad and disagree with the story that the creators wanted to tell. Totally fine, everyone has their own emotions and reactions.

    The ability to make us feel so intensely and really spend time in a world and its characters is powerful. After the climax fight scene with Ellie and Abby before the prologue, my hands were literally shaking, I couldn't sleep I was so awake and I was so conflicted. I didn't want either character to die. I went on a journey of hatred and revenge turning into empathy along with the characters.

    Naughty Dog knew exactly what they were doing. The intention and design is bold and clear.
    They could easily have made something everyone liked. They could have given people heroic,meaningful deaths and happy endings but that wouldn't be true to the world. They chose to tell a deeply upsetting, visceral and challenging story that is ultimately about how hard it is to experience empathy and breakthrough the haze of rage that is hate. It explores why forgiveness is so goddamn hard.

    This game makes you hate someone to depth of our soul and then challenges you to grapple with that feeling. It is intense. The game delights in quiet moments between humans and guts you with trauma and tragedy right after.It portrays women respectfully and LGBTQ relationships as mundane and normal. We don't exist in a vacuum, same-sex relationships are normal relationships and trans people exist- they experience tremendous discrimination and violence, the game accurately portrays this and does not dwell on it. The message is that we are not that different. Its not forced anymore than a straight relationship or white male protagonist is. I really enjoyed the relationships and characters - some are better than others and certain motivations are strange but they feel like real people.

    The creators of this game knew they were not creating a beloved story. They told a hard story for a dark time that underneath its bleakness and violence does tell a story of hope. Making people relate to these traumatized, battered and broken characters was not simple. By the end, I would argue that the Abby portion of the game is better than Ellie's and it gave me a real understanding of how Ellie is perceived by her enemies. This game has no heroes and no heroic deaths. I think a lot of the emotion in it is that people came into it treating Joel and Ellie like that. The version of our world that Last of Us portrays has none. Only people surviving and clinging to those close to them.

    There are tremendous parallels drawn between Joel, Ellie and Abby that build your ability to empathize. But, Abby is not Ellie. She is Joel. A broken person who has so much red in their ledger that they have been hardened to violence or remorse. The person isn't a sociopath but their bitter outlook is oppressive and catalyzed by the brutal murder of someone close to them. An act of forgiveness and empathy begets more. They slowly regain humanity and their life becomes about caring for a child who need love and protection. There are parallels to Ellie as well - Ellie kills Abby's closest friend due to revenge, Ellie kills a pregnant woman as Abby was going to kill Dina, neither of them have the context or understanding of what really happened. It doesn't matter that Ellie didn't intend to kill Mel or Owen even Alice. Both characters experience the rampage of other only by seeing the devastation. They do not empathize or care, it breeds intense hatred because all they see is their loved ones being brutally murdered. Abby and Lev are just as sympathetic and traumatized as Joel and Ellie. The is a bleak, harsh world - no one is a hero. People find hope in those closest to them.

    To not give this game credit for everything it achieves regardless of the story or writing means you are trying to hate it.The world, the moments, the feel, the time it takes with the characters. There are so many meticulously crafted elements working in tandem to elevate this experience to something more than a game, a story or just entertainment.

    Sure, many people didn't enjoy the choices the creators made. I didn't like everything either. I've been thinking about this game a lot since I played it though. This studio didn't pander and it used intense hatred to deliver a message of empathy.

    This game is fantastic. The gameplay is immersive the story about love, loss and revenge is perfectly told. It is so much fun. All the bad ratings are from people, that don't agree with some of Naughty Dogs decisions about the story and the way to tell it.

    É muito interessante a forma em que a história se desenvolve, a forma em que todos os "vilões" tem um peso e não são só pessoas aleatórias que querem fazer o mal por querer. gostei da mensagem (que o jogo faz questão de reforçar várias vezes), gostei dos detalhes, das reviravoltas, dos personagens e a maioria das coisas estão muito bem construídas. O jogo passa uma mistura de sentimentosÉ muito interessante a forma em que a história se desenvolve, a forma em que todos os "vilões" tem um peso e não são só pessoas aleatórias que querem fazer o mal por querer. gostei da mensagem (que o jogo faz questão de reforçar várias vezes), gostei dos detalhes, das reviravoltas, dos personagens e a maioria das coisas estão muito bem construídas.     Entendo as pessoas que não gostaram do jogo, mas pra mim foi uma experiência que nunca senti jogando vídeo game, se o Neil quis chocar de alguma forma com essa obra ele conseguiu, e felizmente esse tipo de experiência e sensações só é possível graças ao vídeo game.

Let's get it out of the way the story is not even close to the original with emotional impact and this is down to poorly written characters who make stupid decisions. But for someone who has been gaming since the 80s no games story has come close to the original for me personally so maybe my expectations were far too high in regards to how I wanted Joel's story to end. If you just look at the game on its graphics, sound, gameplay etc... its an amazing game that is a great send off to the ps4 console even if not to Joel and Ellie.… Expand

    The last of us part 2 is a solid sequel to the beloved Part 1 but lacking the catchy Story that made Part 1 one of the best Games in the previous gen. The last of us part 2 perfects each and every aspect of any game as Graphics,Sound System,Gameplay and Soundtracks, but unfortunately provides us with a story with no definite aim or reason as it shows how bad written it is.

    So far I've enjoyed my first 12 hours of this game alot, the world is beautiful, emersive and full of special touches if you take the time to search or even just notice them. The storytelling is compelling and keeps you invested. I've not experienced any bugs (for now) which is quite rare in today's AAA games at launch. The gun play is not fantastic but gets the job done. I would definitely recommend it to any PlayStation 4 owner who enjoyed the previous Last of Us game.

    Update: I have completed the game now. Though some of the narrative/story decisions did not land for me personally after the halfway point, it was still enjoyable enough to keep me hooked until the end.    … Expand

Ultimately this is a game about two characters on opposing sides hitting rock bottom and embarking on a fool's revenge errand perpetuated by the blind hate they've acquired from losing the ones they've loved. How far is too far is the biggest theme explored, so try not be be attached to too many characters, because at some point the actions of the protagonists (or antagonists depending on your perspective) are going to bring darkness upon everyone. Abby and Ellie both hit absolute rock bottom in their revenge quests and the game really explores both both women ultimately ruined their lives seeking something they realistically could never achieve cleanly; justice.

    There's way too much nuance for me to get into detail, but this game requires you give a chance to see and understand both perspectives.    … Expand

    graphics and world: 10/10 this is the most beautiful game on the PS4 by far. its world is extremely detailed and full of letters, and notes detailing small tales and lore.

    story: 9/10 the story, while controversial, really worked for me. it made me think and most importantly feel for not just Ellie and Joel, but eventually, some characters who at the start I did not expect to feel for at all. I believe that the story will only really work if it manages to pull this off, and for me, it did. of course, there are some minor things I did not like throughout the story, but nothing that ruined the experience at all. the story is emotional and left me thinking about it for days.

    sound and music: 10/10 the soundtrack is absolutely amazing and works so well for the game, being unique to the sequel while keeping up with the overall themes of the series. the sound design is also very good, with gunshot sounds standing out to me as powerful blasts that disrupt everything and ring in the air afterwards.

    total: 9.25/10 the last of us part two was a sequel that while at times didn't feel like it wasn't doing justice to the characters, but certainly did do justice to the gruesome world they lived in and left me thinking about it for days.    … Expand

Техническая составляющая - одна из лучших на сегодняшний день. Общая оценка от меня 8/10. Те кто ставит нули - такие же неадыкваты как и те ето вопит что у игры нет недостатков, а они, разумеется, есть.Ну что могу сказать.     Sometimes it's fun to be a little truistic: The overwhelming majoyrity of the red reviews has been written by gay-bashing lowlifes. They really have nothing to say about the game. The game is emotionally challenging. Be aware. But there is no reason at all to project your triggerd emotions onto the creators of the game or onto the gay communtiy. That's just weak as f.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the last of us part II não chegou nem perto das minhas expectativas, o jogo que estava sendo candidato a ser o meu jogo favorito acabou ocupando o top 2. o jogo é simplesmente fenomenal mas deixou um pouco a desejar. vamos começar pelos gráficos, que estão espetaculares por sinal. esse é um dos jogos mais bonitos que eu já joguei, perde em alguns quesitos apenas para red dead redemption 2. a gameplay do jogo evoluiu muito em relação ao primeiro, oq é um ponto extremamente positivo.
    a mecânica de esquivar por mais que falhe algumas vezes é muito boa, deitar no chão e se espremer entre paredes pra fugir de inimigos foi com certeza a melhor coisa que implementaram na gameplay. o arco agora está bem melhor de usar, já que no primeiro jogo eu achava ele uma grande merda. no jogo jogamos com duas personagens e elas tem grandes diferenças entre si, seja em personalidade até habilidades. enquanto Ellie é mais fraca e mais ágil, Abby é mais bruta e habilidosa com ferramentas. o enredo é bom mas com algumas falhas, jogamos com abby na maioria do jogo, oq não é ruim mas não me agradou tanto assim, por mais que ela seja uma personagem incrível.
    os flashbacks de ambas são bem marcantes e ajudam muito no desenvolvimento da história. falando em desenvolvimento, todos os personagens presentes são muito bem desenvolvidos, com destaque pra Abby, que é uma personagem 100% nova e muito bem desenvolvida. voltando a falar do enredo, a morte precosse de Joel acabou me agradando de certa forma, mas não gostei da forma que aconteceu. o jogo me deixou tenso, triste, puto e feliz diversas vezes e a muito tempo eu não sinto isso jogando alguma coisa. nos momentos tensos os sustos acabavam sendo praserosos e me davam ainda mais vontade de avançar. os meus combates foram bem rápidos em várias situações, joguei no modo moderado. os cenários são muito bem feitos e é extremamente divertido explora-los.
    agora podemos encontrar cofres e devemos explorar o cenário pra descobrir a senha, bem no estilo silent hill.
    nas cartas encontradas podemos entender varias coisas que aconteceram com os corpos e infectados encontrados e até entender como eles morreram. o jogo evoluiu muito em relação ao primeiro e eu gostei de jogar bem mais esse doq o anterior, por mais que eu ache a história do primeiro bem mais interessante. a gameplay não é cansativa e eu me diverti muito nas minhas 21 horas de gameplay.

    First of all everyone say's the graphics are amazing whihc is true so let's just skip that and focus on something major the story. The stroy mainly takes places 4 years after the events of the first game, this time around we are mainly in the shoes of Ellie going through Seattle for majority of the game. The story focuses on revenge and it's a bloody/gory. The first half of the game is easily a 10/10 and focuses on Ellie however *spoiler warning* when you start to play as Abby that is where the story begins to fall apart, the first chapter as one of the worst character Abby is disgusting and terrible, i was so bored i almost fell asleep but oh boy was it worth getting past day 1 as her because day 2 as Abby was amazing. The story begins to pick up again and you get to spend more time with new characters such as Lev. The section as Abby does contain a disgusting sex scene which is gross as Abby looks like a guy however one past that it's fine. Day 3 as Abby is one of the best chapters as it contains a large scale battle that has so much gore it can make many people happy and the graphics really pick up at this point. Once you reach the end of the chapter the game forces you to do something you do not want to do but whatever. The game then takes a secodn to slow down and put's you back into Ellie's shoes for pretty much the rest of the game besides a short part. This ending portion is amazing as it takes a minute to slow down and give insight into how characters feel. The ending portion with final location is incredible and you get hyped up and ready HOWEVER they do fall short and the ending does not feel like a real ending it is just missing something. Overall the story is still fantastic and most revirews are from people who have not even played the game just watched it or were reading leaks before it came out even though most were fake.

    Next up a minor thing- the music while playing felt like it was lacking comparing it to last of us 1 but you do get to play the guitar at some parts and it is amazing to hear some music from Ellie and Joel.

    Next up gameplay- The gameplay in last of us part 2 is a massive step up, unlike Joel which was bash square (even though it was so fun and i love it) in Last of Us 2 Ellie can not do that so she uses her knife and a dodge mechanic. The gameplay is fun and the guns/ animations are satisfying however you think with a knife Ellie would have a quicker time to kill. The best part about gameplay is the climbing/ prone mechanics. These really add different ways to play the game for example you can sprint dive and quickly aim a gun or bow and don't get me started on the bow it is amazing.

    The game does contain minor bugs for example the noise when a enemy see's you keeps playing even if they don't see you and sometime Ellie won't do the animation straight away.

    While playing Last of Us 2 you can see the care and effort they put into the story, it may fall abit short at some moments, i have played hundreds of games and in every game i have ever played i never really cry however Last of us part 2 made me cry 5 times, the game is very emotionally draining.

    Wrap up- Overall most reviews are fake, the game may not be perfect but what game is? Overall the game only has two things i hate, Abby and the lack of music. I waited 7 years for this game and was it worth it? yes it was, it the game better than the first one? debatable, to me some parts are just way better and others are not. This game i still classify as a masterpiece just like number 1. For anyone who is sitting on teh fence wondering if it is worth playing, it 100% is.

    Those who finished the game understand that its inpossible to finish the game in one day, so the hate is based on Joel's death. Okay, its your right, but its not worth to punish the good game only because it did not meet your expectations.

    I love Naughty Dogs for all their games and TLOU 2 is absolutely must play.

    I finished game only on 2023, and it still better that a lot of fresh releases.

This guy could spot an ambush from a distance in the first game. Now, suddenly Joel and Tommy are stupid, even given away their details and where they live.
    Despite that, I think the game is still worth playing. The gameplay is one of the best from last gen. The animations are awesome as always, true Naughty Dog standard game.

    Great game! Play it for yourself. You can really see that so much time and effort was put into this title. Only a handful of games of this superior quality come out for each console generation. Do not skip this one! Most people writing reviews haven’t played the game and have only seen spoiler videos.

    Game play:
    The additional space it gives you to roam around and explore at times is both a boon and a detriment to itself. With (some of) the spaces as large as they are, it tends to mess with the pacing of the narrative (a bit more on this later) and can start to feel tiresome if you are the kind that likes to explore every nook and cranny in these kinds of games. Each space though, does feel unique and interesting enough to warrant exploration.

    The combat, again, is more of the same but the kills feel more brutal albeit a bit comical at times (death screams/dialogue). There are a few new weapons to play with later in the game that are fun alternatives to the usual but don't necessarily break the mold. There are also some new enemies. The new infected are a fine addition while the new human enemies do not necessarily bring much to the table in terms of surprises but do require paying attention. Neither one feels so different though, that you won't be able to take them on.

    The AI is more competent, generally speaking, this time around. Though there are some instances of the usual issues that were present in the previous title. To iterate, companions you have during certain parts are more useful than before. However, enemies seem to be oblivious to their presence at times as they stand or run out in the open which can break the immersion. On the flip side of that coin, enemies can at times feel a little too observant making stealth difficult (though this can be adjusted in options). If you are not playing through guns-blazing (or adjusting difficulty), you will likely find yourself waiting a lot for an opportunity to move that doesn't ever seem to present itself without resorting to just going full-on Rambo. Enemies in this installment also have better aim and at times can start to feel like you are going up against battalions of world-class marksmen with straight-from-the-factory weapons and not post-civilization groups of regular joes with scavenged/well-used ones.

    Accessibility options for those that need or want them are well done. There is also the inclusion of difficulty sliders for various aspects of game play (resources, player damage, enemy damage, and more) which allows you to tailor the game to how you want to play.

    Graphics:
    Visually, the game is beautifully crafted. All the minor details in textures, lighting, and level/character design make it feel alive and makes the photo mode a pleasant tool to play with. The animations are crisp and realistic. The facial animations specifically are extraordinary. It's what we've come to expect from a ND title for better or worse. Not much more to say here.

    Story:
    Again, avoiding spoilers so I won't be going into specifics. The overall narrative is where this game has issues. It is fine; its not great nor terrible though it does have moments of both. The pacing feels off and I wonder, going back to the world space, if it would have been better for it to have been more linear. There are areas in the game that (are supposed to) have a sense of urgency but having so much space to explore, you may find yourself getting easily sidetracked and it just doesn't end up feeling as urgent as it should. The introduction of some of the factions don't really add anything to the narrative and seem to serve only as a means for the player to have something to overcome until the next main story beat is reached. It would have been better for them to have been developed further.

    The narrative, generally feels a bit disjointed and all over the place due to over-reliance of flashbacks and the order of events end up messing with pacing and impact of the story overall. Writer's self-described intentions (commentary on violence) end up falling somewhat flat due to the structuring of the story and ironically, the game play itself. It perhaps would have been better served having more tension building and less combat. To elaborate, how is killing supposed to feel impactful when you do so much of it through out the game? It plays out like a Rambo film with regards to violence.

    However, with all of that being said, emotional beats were not completely lost (on me). The lighthearted moments were great and felt good to experience. They felt genuine, like the characters were real and were some of the best moments in the game for me. In the more disheartening or painful moments, I could easily empathize with them.     The zeros on other reviews are an insult to the amount of work and care that this game has. It makes me so sad to see it. Play the game to completion and you will see it’s not a 0/10. It’s a solid 8/9 but I am giving it a 10 to offset those silly zeros.

It's a roller coaster of emotions, i've never felt that many emotions with a game, like to be happy, angry, mad, desperate, etc. The game is looking to put that feelings in your mind and it does it. Many people are complaining about what Abby did, but if you think deeply into her actions you should be able to understand her. That doesn't mean that i want her dead, i mean, i hate her even after the end, but i understand the character. On the other side, we all loved Joel, of course, he was an amazing character and his relationship with Ellie was the best plot i have ever seen on a videogame, but we also know that Joel was actually a monster, that killed a lot of innocent people in the past (he said Ellie in the first game that he has been on both sides of the coin, talking about hunters) and that also has practically condemned the humanity to the extinction by denying the cure for the virus (killing tons of innocent on the hospital btw). So, yes, we love Joel, but you can't tell he was a good person, maybe he even deserved worst that his death. This game IS NOT A DISNEY MOVIE, if you want fairy tales, happy endings, cute characters, man, go to disney plus and watch all that movies, maybe that's what you are looking for. This game is excellent in the way it is supposed to be.

    To finish this i have to say that the playability is amazing, it's so satisfying man. The graphics also are the best we've seen on ps4 and the music is perfect, like it was on the first game. So, this is a masterpiece, but not for everyone.    … Expand

During my first go round in the back of my head I was constantly thinking about all the negatives ppl were saying about the game during the release and I found myself agreeing to them. When I played with Abby I didn't give her character a chance didn't enjoy it just ran thrive it and by the end of the game I really sympathized with her. If you want another Joel and Ellie adventure this isn't it his story was good was told in the first game. Go in with an open mind and enjoy it.… Expand

    On a technical level the game is absolutely incredible. The quality of the visuals is amazing, and even more so considering the hardware its running on. Tons of beautiful environments. Animation quality is generally extremely high. The new rope physics are very impressive.

    Exploration, combat and stealth gameplay generally works really well. Searching for and gathering loot can become a bit tedious. Jumping and platforming is a weak point. Certain doors and other passages can trigger a change in location which you can't reverse for no real reason other than the game simply not letting you, breaking immersion a bit if you missed some loot in the previous room. Accuracy RNG for ranged weapons isn't really a fun mechanic but you don't notice it very often. Upgrading weapons and skills is pretty underwhelming, but also not distracting.

    The narrative is very straightforward. Closer to a character study (of some great characters) than a grandiose story. The acting is excellent. Just like in the first game the playable characters are not defined by the player. Moral choices are made by the characters without player interaction. There is quite a bit of nonlinearity in the narrative, most notably including a /very/ long (too long) intermission between the start and conclusion of a pivotal scene.

    Easily one of the best games of its type of this console generation. Congratulations to the team.    … Expand

La grafica e il comparto tecnico riescono ad arrivare ad un livello clamoroso rendendo il gioco il migliore in questo ambito attualmente.     The story and characters are not the best, but not as bad as others quite make it out to be. They are just butthurt about Joel dying and having to play as another person than Ellie (maybe 2/5 of the game).    … Expand

    I finally finished it. It’s a masterpiece. It really really is. I hate yet to read through all the hate as I have been avoiding spoilers, but whatever it is (and I can guess) people are **** stupid.

    Play the game, then keep playing it. Even if you think it’s going in a direction you don’t like, stick with it. Fuuuuuck.

    Absolutely phenomenal game with stunning visuals and gameplay. It takes what is so special about the first game and improves upon it in nearly every way. Definitely a must play for any Naughty Dog fan.

Castigo estúpidamente. Por usuarios de otras compañias.y tambien personas que se encariñan con los personajes. Vamos que yo llore la muerte de joel pero eso no le da merito a que por eso ya el juego sea malo. Hay que pensar como gamer y disfrutar del juego y no ponerse a criticar cosas irrelevantes. While killing Joel isnt a bad idea, the way it was executed was poor and theres so many character inconsistences, early in the game Ellie doesnt accept Seths apology and gift for his offensive comments "loud mouthed dyke". Which is justifiable but Ellie cant bring herself to kill Joel's killer snd lets her live. Whats worse is that Abby technically gets her revenge but not Ellie. It tried way hard to be subverted but it failed miserably. The only reasons why im giving it an 8 is because of the fantastic gameplay, graphics, voice acting and music… Expand

    If Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil Revelations 2 had a baby with Silent Hill 2 and the Telltale Walking Dead series, IT WOULD BE THIS GAME!! I enjoyed every minute of it. I loved the puzzles, the scavenging for supplies, the exploring , and the BRUTAL KILLS! A LOT of work went into this game and it shows. Definitely an emotional roller coaster.     This is a masterpiece. Very harsh plot, but everything happens in a post-apocalyptic world, otherwise it can not be. I liked everything. We are waiting for the next games from Naughty Dog they are the best in this business.

    Thoroughly enjoyed the game and was engaged with the story throughout. The Abby storyline made sense and her section of the game made me understand the characters motivations.
    Game play wise I enjoyed how they improved from the original and the new accessibility features are something that I can see many companies applying in the future.

    My biggest complaint was that there were too many collectibles. I enjoyed reading the artifacts and the journals, however the trading cards and coins were a little overkill on the collecting.

    I understand that some people don't like the direction ND went, but I feel it made it a stronger story. Overall, as long as you go in with an open mind then I think many will enjoy the story.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
