    Another great game from Naughty Dog. Great pace changes through gameplays. Engaging story.
    Just finished the game, and most satisfied with the ending.
    Story had some rough moemnts and plot have holes sometimes in motivation, but this story make really good ending of first part.

    When the boundaries between the art piece and that of the audience fade, raw emotions are elicited. The last of us part one, cultivated emotions wonderfully. Naughty dog has been able to improve on this in a truly substantial way. these are their characters and the stories that they're telling are beautiful

    I have never played a game, watched a TV or read a book like this. The emotion impact is such huge. The part II is not a pleasant journey, but the emotional involvement is better than 1. Thank you!

    Great gameplay, amazing soundtrack, incredible graphics, very good story. What were you expecting? A Disney plot?
    I don't understand all the hate, most of the critics were written even before the release of the game. If you're a fan from TLOU then you have to play this and don't pay attention to bad critics

    An absolutely stunning game all around, it takes the idea that things are never as black and white as they seem. Just because a story doesn't go the way you originally wanted it to doesnt mean its a bad game.

    It's definitely not gonna please everyone. But I feel it manages to have a really strong story that at first let me a bit conflicted. But it's definitely more on the line of a revenge tail. It manages to make some risks, and makes a lot of twists and turns I wasn't fully expecting. While I can't say this is better than the first. I still think it was an incredible experience with lots ofIt's definitely not gonna please everyone. But I feel it manages to have a really strong story that at first let me a bit conflicted. Yeah this game killed off Joel like he wasn't the main protagonist of the last game but people need to really look at this game for what it is. It teaches that revenge is a fool's game and gets anyone involved nowhere. I guarantee that most people like myself will at first hate the game but once they finish it and have time to rationally reflect on the story that they will come to appreciate the story and lesson that this game teaches.     This game is a must play for all who love story driven games. It’s absolutely incredible. As a side note, I never really care about graphics; however, this game frequently makes me stop to take in the sights. I’ve truly loved every second of this game... even though it’s been an emotional roller coaster. xD

    An honest review of The Last of Us Part II from someone who has actually completed the game fully:

    Gameplay: The gameplay for this game is very familiar if you have played the first game with some additional tweaks to make it better and not to mention it is brutal and visceral. The dodge button adds a bit of strategy to melee encounters as enemies can counter you and get hits off.     Gameplay: The gameplay for this game is very familiar if you have played the first game with some additional tweaks to make it better and not to mention it is brutal and visceral. The dodge button adds a bit of strategy to melee encounters as enemies can counter you and get hits off. No longer can you just mash square for a guaranteed kill. Ellie is more nimble than Joel. She can jump up to high locations, squeeze through cracks and go prone. Being prone is a game changer as you can hide under cars, shoot while laying down and even craft while laying down. It adds another element to stealth. AI is greatly improved as they will sneak, flank and shoot you behind cover. I can't count how many times I'm getting shot at from someone I couldn't see and spot an enemy peaking out from a crack in the wall. Infected enemies remain relatively the same except for the stalkers who are greatly improved and will hide behind cover and attack you when you least expect it. Standard issues with 3rd person camera obstructing your view. Overall: 9.5

    Sound: Not much to say here. It is top notch. Gunshots echo through the air, enemies gargle and choke on their blood after a stab with Ellie's knife. Infected sound visceral and scary as ever especially the clickers. The soundtrack is intense and heightens pivotal moments. Voice acting is great. Although I haven't tried it, it is recommended to play this game with surround sound headphones to enhance the experience. Overall: 10

    Performance: for a Naughty Dog game which is usually polished I was surprised to see the occasional glitch in this game. I had downloaded the day 1 patch however got an instance where Dina's body didnt fully load through an escape sequence, Ellie teleporting and then having audio sync issues, and a huge framerate drop during a scene heavy on graphics that required a restart of the checkpoint. Nothing game breaking but took me out of the immersion for those moments. Overall: 9

    Graphics: The game is beautiful. The details in the character models and environments are amazing. There's not much to say here besides it is on another level. Facial animations are so good you can tell see every ounce of emotion on the character's face without them saying anything. Overall: 10

    Story: Here is the big one and the most controversial one. I can 100% see why fans of the original Last of Us don't like this story. This game takes huge chances in character decisions, story arcs, and perspective. But I very much enjoyed it. I've thought about this and this was probably the worst game to ever get leaked ahead of time because you truly can't appreciate the story without playing it. The characters are so complex you simply can't get a sense of who they are through video clips. The story challenges you to see violence from the perspective of different people with their own motivations and lives. The main story isn't really about revenge as much as it is about empathy. It's so hard to describe this story without spoiling, but the main thing is it is full of twists and turns, and it will bring out your emotions. It is also much more darker than the first game. It isn't perfect though. There are moments where it dragged for me especially towards the end. I felt like it was going to end like 3 different times. And there is a moment in the middle of the game that kind of turns things upsides down which can feel a bit jarring and disjointed from the main plot of the story. Another criticism I have is I wish they would have made the reason for the decisions some of the characters make more clear especially at the end. You are left open to interpret which I understand that was by design but also leaves you a little confused and feeling without closure. Basic summary: Ellie is living in a nice city with an established community. A tragedy occurs and she sets out on a quest for revenge. That obsession with revenge is explored in how it changes her and the people around her. Her relationship with Joel is explored as well as the lie he told her at the end of the first game. Overall I think this story does an amazing job with storytelling and the message its trying to give despite some long winded moments and structure issues. Overall: 8.5

    Everything about Last of Us 2 was crisp, immersive, and delightful. The Last of Us series is my favorite implementation of the survival horror post apocalyptic genre. The acting, the controls, the ambience, and the story are all 10/10. Would recommend this game to anyone.

    First I want to say screw every review bomber that did not play the game.

    Although the full flow and story (mainly the second half) way more bloated than it needed to be, I was able to appreciate and enjoy what they were going for.

    Get this game for the gameplay, which for me tops the gameplay from TLOU 1 in every aspect.

    This game is a masterpiece of visuals, game play, and most importantly it tells a story that will resonate with me forever.
    I have not played so many hours of a game in such a short period of time in years and the main reason I marathon played the game is that I was eager to find out where the story was going and I wan't to make sure that I finished it before it ended up being spoiled online.

    This game is a phenomenon in storytelling. I've never seen such deep and unforgettable characters, every turn in story makes sense. The games and movies shouldn't go on the way we want them to. In part 2 we can feel the pain of every character and faction in this cruel world. The graphics are gorgeous and level design is fantastic. Thanks naughty dog for creating this masterpiece.

    A fantastic game and a worthy successor to the legacy left behind by the first. I enjoyed every minute, especially the unique twists and turns the game took particularly with character direction.

    Very disappointed to see that the fans weren't willing to accept the unique route ND went with in this game. I hope it doesn't discourage them and other studios from doing the same in the future.

In the end, people think about that game and what is that costs 7 years and 60 dollars: is it fair? I think yes It's fair. I played on twitch and finish in 18 hours. By the way, LGBTQ+ is not the main event from The Last of Us Part 2 and Abby is not a transgender person. She is a hetero woman. I want o say that because most of the people on the internet say those things about Abby. If you want to play an exclusive game on ps4 than lets play. Ele fala seu nome verdadeiro pra uma pessoa estranha achando que nada poderia dar errado. Não condiz com a personalidade do Joel. Achei uma coisa muito forçada. Eu também entendo os motivos da Abby, mas eu achei todo esse processo de humanização cansativo. Poderiam investir menos tempo de jogabilidade com ela.

The writers and developers were able to create a far more relatable and real story compared to the first game in my opinion. Characters had more depth, had more motive. Consequences and decisions felt more understandable. One of the best sequels to a story I’ve ever seen. I thought the use of the timeline to explore differing perspectives was really creative and cool. The rendering of post apocalyptic Seattle was stunning. The mission when climbing over Seattle skyscrapers was breathtaking.

    Gameplay felt repetitive towards the end though. The last section of the game in Santa Barbra was a bit exhausting. Felt like things could have ended in that final scene at the theater in Seattle. Though, the cut scenes back to Ellie and Joel’s characters in the first segment were needed and well done. You feel at peace with the characters at the end. It’s a great ending. A great way to end this series.    … Expand

    - at most all of haters didn't play this game or listened and watched with theirs asses; looks like a lot of gamers don't have their own opinion and just follow others;

Es recomendable jugar la primera parte antes, aunque en esta segunda parte nos ponen en situación. Gráficamente es impecable, de lo mejor visto en esta generación, exprime PlayStstion 4 Pro al máximo. El juego no    Gran juego.

    Es recomendable jugar la primera parte antes, aunque en esta segunda parte nos ponen en situación. Gráficamente es impecable, de lo mejor visto en esta generación, exprime PlayStstion 4 Pro al máximo.

    El juego no se hace largo y las mecánicas aunque clásicas muestran cierta evolución respecto a la entrega anterior.

    En general creo que es un juego que se ha de jugar si o si.

    I think there are some pacing issues and less impactful scenes compared to the first game, but overall it is very good. The people review bombing are childish and should be ashamed of themselves. I think of this game a lot like The Godfather 2, it's not the story you wanted but it is the story that happened. The gameplay is fantastic, as expected, better than any other Naughty Dog game. The graphics were great, but I played it on a base PS4 so it was pretty blurry (the detail exceeded the resolution).… Expand

    When I first played this game, I would have given it about a 7.5. The gameplay is amazing, and I enjoyed the story for the most part. The ending was what threw me off.     Wow, just finished the game at around 33 hours and I'm left breathless. The raw unapologetic story telling and visceral characters is next to none. I was sceptical about the whole Abby and SJW aspect to it, and it is prominent but doesn't detract from this absolute masterpiece. 11/10

    - helicopter! To fix it and use it in a story.
    - a fraction of military scientists who would grow fungus in laboratory conditions to understand this phenomenon.
    - neutral factions of NPS with which could be agreed, and not kill each other when sorting for resources.
    - infected wild animals.
    - random events on locations between NPS that would affect the atmosphere. (Red dead redemption 2)

    Masterpiece. I wasn’t sure I wanted a sequel, but they pulled it off. You have to understand in the first game that Joel is not a good guy but like everyone else a shade of grey. The consequences of this create a plot with huge depth; and those who claim a lack of respect for the character are missing the point that the whole game is about him.

    Great game if you liked the first, the story was solid in my opinion but never quite hit the high notes that the first game does. Still it was a nice to get a deeper insight to the way this world has developed and I think the story only servers purpose to that and the wider theme of the cycle of violence and revenge.

Жму руку разработчикам за титанический труд, если они хотели угодить ЛГБТ, как некоторые выразились, то они сделали это в меньшей возможной мере, к тому же такой химии двух влюбленных девушек я ещё нигде не видел, это было очень мило и как по мне всё было крайне убедительно, актеры дубляжа и захвата движения постарались. Геймеры, сидящие на попе ровно, с кривой осанкой и не следящие за фигурой сразу же начали возникать "а шо это баба такая накаченная ээ, она чё трансы ыы" идут лесом, в постапоке я думаю лучше быть накаченным бойцом, чем клацать на джойстик, тем более её ведёт жажда мести за отца. На счёт мести Элли, она правильно сделала, что не убила Эбби, ей и так досталось (смерть отца, верных друзей, невинных дочки и мамы, рабство), если кто то после этого все равно хотел её убить, у вас не всё в порядке с головой. Ставлю 8 из 10, геймплей слишком нудный, бежать до кат-сцен и всё, лучше смотреть игрофильм. Если кто-то ожидал хеппи-энд, то вы конечно обосрались, все трейлеры были пронизаны безысходностью, насилием и несправедливостью, что нам и показали, эта игра не для умиления, а чтобы вы прочувствовали всю боль потерь и лишений, с которыми нам так или иначе предстоит столкнуться в этой жизни.… Expand

    - We entered the controversy the story, I was left with mixed feelings at the end but I understood the message that Naughty Dog wanted to give, maybe they could better apply certain important decisions but in the end it works, a risky bet on the part of ND. It is incredible how much the studio has matured since Crash Bandicoot the first game I played. The game shows you the perspectives of the characters and invites you to reflect on their actions. Connect perfectly with the first installment, you may like it or not, but there it is.

The Last of us Part 2 far exceeds it, the gameplay of this title is simply brilliant, a combat system, stealth and shooting totally polished compared to the first game, much more agile and the AI ​​of the enemies far surpasses other titles of the genre.
