Jun 16, 2015Aside from a few ui errors upon logging in the game launch we smooth for myself. I played the pc version the majority of the way through. This version seems well put together. I am finding myself more engrossed day to day. The biggest complaint I have is that when I first got home with the game and inserted the disc, there was a 18gb update to download. That was very frustrating.

Jun 17, 2015I don't understand why people are hating this game so much. It's a very good game, all things considered. Graphics are not the best, but it doesn't matter, the gameplay works perfect and the story, as far as I palyed, is great. It's not Skyrim, it's a legit Elder Scrolls game and that is good enough.

Jun 21, 2015After the first day of login queues, it's fun to get in and wander around doing quests with other people in ESO. Everyone marking this game a 0 that also states they could never play isn't reviewing the game, they're just trolling, so this is to offset that. The queues are entirely gone now and anyone that gave this a 0 because they "Couldn't play!" should really reconsider.

Jun 17, 2015Server issues aside, the game is much better than many people claim it is. It really surpassed my expectations given the inexperience of Bethesda in the MMO genre. I really don't see what many dislike about this game.

Jun 17, 2015This is THE game I was waiting for since DAOC. This MMO-RPG is very immersing and very well done in all aspects. I guess that very bad criticisms come from teenagers or people who need a high level of assistance, like we can find in GW2. ESO has been designed for mature people who like to use their brain in many ways, especially to build their character skills.

Jun 14, 2015Great game! lots of quests to do, lots of exploration, you can make a lot of gold crafting and selling your items in a guild store. Literally hundreds of hours of content. PvP is good.
-
Jun 16, 2015Excellent online gameplay and fluid combat. The graphics are what you can really expect from a 2014 MMO and the PVP full of intensity. Love it! While it had a rocky launch it has improved so much and is definitely one of the best MMOs currently out there.

Jun 13, 2015Great game with tons to do. I've already invested several hours in the game and I have enjoyed all of it. I highly recommend it. It's my first MMORPG.
-
Jun 21, 2015One of the best mmo on the market. Period. And best mmo on the console. Great mix between classic Elder Scrolls and online. Always dreamed about TES with friends.

Jun 15, 2015I don't understand why this game is getting such bad reviews. It is brilliant! If you love Skyrim you will love it! I am a massive Elder Scrolls fan but not a big MMO fan, but this game is just incredible! Great graphics, great storyline, it's smooth to play. After the teething issues with the servers it will be even better. Those who are negatively reviewing it, bought it wanting to hate it!

Jun 9, 2015You know i've talked to a few of the people on there and they are satisfied with the new ESO, in my opinion its a great game and I thought it was cool a bit hard at first but when you get the basics down its pretty fun.

Jun 9, 2015Honestly, the game itself is worth the 60$. There is nothing more you need to buy to "win" or get better equipment. You must grind thou. If you are a fan of any Elder Scrolls game this is a must buy. Even it being an MMO, it still feels like an Elder Scrolls game.

Jun 11, 2015It appears that the scores on this review page are a direct reflection of the users intellect. Example with "How can you claim 600hrs of gameplay on RELEASE DAY" and a guy giving 0 because he doesn't like following arrows....One can be explained and one has a very simple solution, if you don't know then by all means, give this game a low score too.
-
Jun 10, 2015Nothing totally groundbreaking or revolutionary... but I can't stop playing it. Controller feel natural. Is it perfect? No. It's pretty fun so far and that's the bottom line.

Jun 9, 2015The best MMO on PS4. People need to understand that this is not trying to be Skyrim 2/online. It's an ES game, and for long time fans of the series there is plenty to enjoy.
-
Jun 10, 2015Here's what you really need to know as there is still an undercurrent of people trying to undermine this game. Go to the Playstation Store. ESOTU is averaging 5 stars by people who have actually bought and played the game. Got to the XBox store where it is averaging 4.5 stars from people who have bought and played the game. Seeing a pattern yet?

Jun 9, 2015Great game. Solid story, great combat. The game features around 600 hours of content if you don't rush it and take your time to explore. And then there's also PvP. It is no doubt one of the best and the biggest MMO games to-date.
Bumpy launch will be fixed guys. Have patience! :) -
Jun 9, 2015Its a good game. Great with friends. Lots to do and explore. Looks good, minor bugs here and there but thats normal on any game of this size. I recommend playing it with friends or people you meet along the way, its an online game after all. Enjoy and dont listen to the trolls giving it 0 score and bad reviews like 0 too. that is stupid.

Jun 9, 2015Wow, after all the hate I seen when the game dropped on PC, all I can say is either the game has changed completely or they was playing a different game, awesome MMO with the elder scrolls lore, what more could you ask for, of course there will be launch bugs, those are being worked out.
-
Jun 9, 2015Great MMO with tons of well-written quests and a huge world to explore! Thanks to PC betatesters it has none of the old bugs during questing, there's a better ''voice'' system than on PC, and finally it has the best graphics among MMOs.
Endgame is going to be expanded with new maps, new raids, and it's not only a GRIND like in old MMOs...but a challenge! -
Jun 9, 2015I'm just trying to balance all the unfair 0 reviews. Sounds like there are a lot of gamers still hurt by the PC release. I'm a PC gamer my self but waited to get this on console. Doesn't break any new ground as far as MMO's go but it's a blast playing an MMO on console compared to PC (I've played my fair share of GW2). By rating this a 0 you're simply not being objective.
-
Jun 10, 2015Pretty fun game and worth playing if you're in to MMO's. I enjoy every part of this game. Not sure what the haters expect from an MMO and comparing it to the likes of skyrim (which is a single player game) is a bit stupid but gamers these days love to hate on games so hate is expected. Don't let them put you off.

Jun 9, 2015ESO is undoubtedly the best MMO on console right now. With a huge, gorgeous world, hundreds of quests and downright awesome PvP battles, it's hard not to pick up ESO if you're an MMO fan or an Elder Scrolls fan.

Jun 9, 2015Wooow the orcs are really, really cool! I becomes very happy in my shoes!! Dont deny it party people, there is a true og respektive fact in the sceletone flag, without a CoD frag, and it is good, you always feel like - being in the hood

Jun 10, 2015The story is regular, not epic. Graphically is a ps3 game, with 20-25 fps max. Frequent fps drops to 10-15 fps.
Voices for npcs are boring and flat.
The game in general is ok, but only because of the lack of games in this "new generation". -

Jun 9, 2015Less a review and more an observation, but there's something wrong with the user review system when 1 of the top ten reviews is telling you guys there's 600 hours of content on RELEASE DAY. Thank you for the honest review, traveler from the future.

Sep 29, 2015Tonnes of bugs, crashes, freezes, lock ups, loading screens, missing items, missing quest targets. This is the best Zenimax can do 2 years after release. Seriously all the top ratings are fan boys without any critical merit.

Jul 6, 2015This game is full of gameplay you'd still expect from Elder Scrolls. Tamriel is a great game with lots of upgrades and entertainment for multiplayer online. There's a few bugs and repetitive elements, but still lots of fun. Definitely a game anyone would enjoy.

Sep 15, 2016Like most of the disappointed players I expected something more Skyrimish and less mmoish. There's a good deal of storytelling, and the music is great, but the gameplay is utterly boring, and the graphics don't impress that much. Stay away if you expect an Elder Scrolls game. If you're a fan of the series, grab a discount like I did, it's actually worth a few bucks - but not more.

Sep 18, 2015While the game play was fun, it got old extremely quick. The story was just absolutely dull. Nothing like a real Elder Scrolls game. I had a hard time even getting to the end-game because the questing becomes so monotonous that I could barely stand to start a new map and just run to 50 different little things, do one or two quests and move on. Eventually, you just stop caring...
-
Feb 14, 2016Hated it. I loved skyrim.. Elder scrolls online was horrible. The graphics are poor.. The whole place feels like a card board cut out with characters that are unengaging.

Jun 25, 2019Game is trash! Donate, terrible fighting system! The worst pvp ever! 80 % players have dps below 20 k, because fighting system is idiotic!
-
Apr 23, 2020Server performance is ruining this game beyond belief, skills dont fire off, unless you press the button 6 or 7 times, massive desyncs, every maintenance they have seems to make it worse not better, been a day 1 player, but seriously considering quitting now, had enough of the lag, memory leak and overall rubbish performace.
-
Apr 19, 2021Full of glitches, hackers, bugs, indestructible enemies, your abilities sometimes randomly turn off. Absolute trash...

Jun 25, 2015Ever wanted to play a modern MMO with action combat, great graphics, and mostly important it being a great RPG? You're lucky because ESO is all that and much more.
-
Jun 25, 2015Just here to let you know that Elder Scrolls: Tamriel Unlimited is the only worthy mmo of playing. Others are utter garbage compared to this masterpiece.
-
Jun 25, 2015Wow what a gem of a game. The questing is actually interesting, what is this madness. Uncle sheo's not messing around. Seriously if you are a TES fan get this game immediately.

Aug 3, 2015I purchased this because I love Skyrim and wanted more. I immediately thought this was a bad mistake as I had never played a MMO before and was left confused and somewhat overwhelmed. I stuck it out and levelled up and learnt about in MMO's in the process. Now I love it and can see how the Elder scrolls has been interpreted into a MMO.
-
Jun 25, 2015Having played almost every MMO since the dawn of the genre (right back to MUDs) I've been jaded for a very long time and was almost hesitant to try yet another - the fact it was Subs-Free helped me overcome that reticence.
I love it. -
Jun 25, 2015This is the best MMORPG I have ever played so far. It doesn't suck your money like a hungry vacuum. Leveling is at ease. Full voice acting. Exploring is also fun and actually rewarding. Very soothing music. Please, try the game, it doesn't even need monthly subscription to play.

Jun 25, 2015Most fun I've had in an MMO. The game is beautiful, tons of fun and addicting for all! The pve, pvp, and AvAvA is all amazing and really well done. Finally a game where you can do whatever you want.. Explore, do dungeons, pvp, AvAvA, and more! Also, this game is harder than your average MMO. Which is good! Who doesn't like a challenge?

Jun 24, 2015Terrific game. Absolutely the best MMO ever created.
ZoS has really turned it around, this is the TES game we all expected.
Looking forward to future updates, like Imperial City etc. -

Aug 16, 2015A couple of lines of dialogue can often be all you’re given before being plunged into whatever mundane task is expected of you; rare are the significant characters and even rarer are the ones you care about. It just doesn’t maintain the same depth of exploration or profundity that the series is known for, leading to a much quicker-paced Elder Scrolls experience.
-
Aug 12, 2015Even simple quests cause a chain reaction of new incidents and it's possible to see how the player affects Tamriel. But if you expect something like Skyrim with coop-mode you still have to wait for another game.
-
Aug 3, 2015This is a nice RPG and a bad MMO. The game is playable without subscriptions and it offers a lot of content to explore. Playing together with other gamers still is not really working properly. It is too bad this game does not impress, even though the development system for characters and the PvP are fun.
