Jun 28, 2018The Crew 2 is a beautiful follow-up to the first. It packs a lot of punch inside of it and it’s friendly to all types of gamers. The world is still big, the events are great in number, and it just feels like a fun/simple racing game that you want to play on and off for a long time.
-
Jul 1, 2018It is truly a gearhead’s playground, with plenty of customization and tweaking options, combined with arcade gameplay to give a more relaxed feeling.
-
Jul 30, 2018The Crew 2 is a big game, confidence, and it takes the adrenaline within every moment. Completely enjoyable, the fact that you can go through every kind of road, or fly or go across the sea is brilliant, also the enormous amount of vehicles available, the originality on presenting your career, it makes it interesting and thrilling. A worthy, funny and enjoyable racing game.
-
Jul 5, 2018An avalanche of racing goodness, hokey social media anchoring and an oddly sparse open world aren't enough to prevent The Crew 2 from improving on the original in every way and providing a multi-disciplined racer that is quite unlike any other on PS4.
-
Jul 5, 2018Despite its shortcomings, The Crew 2 still displays admirable strengths, which lie in its player-friendly features, freedom of movement, and its willingness to bend the rules in order to make things exciting and varied for an accessible, American-themed thrillride.
-
Jul 2, 2018The Crew 2 improves its initial idea with the presence of new vehicles and modes that make us enjoy land, sea and air. It is not perfect, but it will entertain those who want to enjoy speed without regard. And for those who want to tour the United States economically and simply.
-
Jul 2, 2018The Crew 2 outperforms its predecessor in almost all aspects. New disciplines, vehicles and better graphics join a cooperative multiplayer really fun that we have attached to the title for weeks.
-
Jul 1, 2018The new The Crew’s chapter is even madder than before. With the introduction of boats and airplanes, and the possibility of switching between them in a snap, the roaming has been brought to a new level.
-
Jun 29, 2018The Crew 2 successfully expands the concept of its first installment. Although it does not repeat the mistakes of the first one, it makes others. While the game is varied, fun and gorgeous, some disciplines are not up to the task, the progression and economy systems are not adequate and the exaggerated collisions sometimes play against you.
-
Jun 29, 2018The progress system is getting dull, the rubber band AI keeps the races overly artificially exciting - and these are just two examples of a long list of small to medium-sized quirks. But even if the game is not as perfect as the big role model Forza Horizon, I have the same amount of fun in The Crew 2 as in the open-world racer from Microsoft.
-
Jul 4, 2018The Crew 2 is a big, big racing game. The enormous playground based on the U.S. has a lot to offer and is fun to play in with friends, but unfortunately there is too much wrong with some essential elements to make it a definite must-have.
-
Jul 2, 2018No matter the element, The Crew 2 is a fantastic vehicle in which to master the ins and outs of speed. It’s just a pity that Ubisoft’s new world of varied racing disciplines feels hollow and uneven as it won’t hold your attention for very long in its current incarnation.
-
Jun 30, 2018The Crew 2 invents nothing, and excels at nothing. But it’s a huge mix of many fun and cool things to do, served by an amazingly big open-world turned into a sandbox for grown-up kids.
-
Jun 30, 2018There is a lot of variety and plenty of racing types and the open world is gorgeous, but weak character models and no competitive mode at launch hurt this game.

Jul 10, 2018The Crew 2 is going to need a lot of time and work to feel like a worthwhile purchase. I’m not sure Ubisoft, a company I’ve come to associate with that very post-launch polishing process, will manage it. I’m even less sure I should have to wonder. This is a barebones product without much of a foundation to flesh out in the first place. It’s not something I’d even consider giving the benefit of the doubt for $60. If anything, it’s enough to make me question giving the publisher the benefit of the doubt ever again.

Jun 29, 2018As someone who initially dismissed The Crew but eventually fell in love with it, I dearly wished to see its promise fulfilled and its incredible map brought back to life. The Crew 2 can't manage either feat. It is a sound enough arcade racer as it is, and there's every chance that it will eventually flower into a great game. But it is a much smaller, less ambitious and less exciting game than it pretends to be, or than it could have been.
-
Jun 28, 2018In 2018, The Crew 2 is a mess, but it’s easy to imagine the same game, in 2019 or 2020, being a must-play. There’s a part of me that looks forward to that version of the game. But I’d be lying if I said I wanted all of its embarrassing blemishes to be concealed, repaired and removed. There’s plenty to love about this cross-eyed puppy.
-
Jun 29, 2018The Crew 2 will be an incredible racer in a year’s time. It’s just not there right now, and it’s a shame. It’s full of potential, packed with a dizzying amount of variety, and you can’t help but be impressed by the massive world you inhabit. Unfortunately, The Crew 2 is just too inconsistent to fully recommend.
