    I had been waiting for this game for years. and i can say tekken 7 is the best fighting game of current generation and it worth waiting.
    the story is OK but i expected a much better and longer story but it's already exciting but some new players who don't know the story might not get it.

    the fighting system can't be any better they have improved tekken's awesome gameplay in the best way possible with new moves like rage art.and there are several enjoyable modes like arcade mode and treasure battle.online tournament mode is the best new addition. the only disappointing thing is that they have removed "team battle" mode which was the best offline mode since tekken 3 to tag 2 and me and my brother and my cousins played this mode more than any mode i hope they will bring this mode back with an update. and there is no reason for absence of "lei", "anna" and "roger jr" in characters i hope they return.

    the graphics are much better than previous titles but the game runs at 900p on ps4 and it's kind of annoying while much graphically heavier and more realistic games like injustice 2 and gta v .etc run at 1080p on ps4 but it's still beautiful to look at and play.

    although I've never been a fan of rock and metallic music i love game's musics and jukebox feature allows you to listen to all memorable musics from previous games.

    Tekken 7 is the best game in the series but they have to improve it by updates.    … Expand

    The next installment to the tekken series is here and I have to say that I am enjoying it but it is far from a perfect game. The story is more focused around the Mishima's which makes sense since the series has pretty much revolved around Heihachi, Kazuya, and Jin. It is pretty short and can be finished within 2-3 hours depending on whether or not the computer doesn't beat on you and onceThe next installment to the tekken series is here and I have to say that I am enjoying it but it is far from a perfect game. It is pretty short and can be finished within 2-3 hours depending on whether or not the computer doesn't beat on you and once it is done you unlock other character's sidestory fights that don't necessarily tie into the Mishima's.

    The combat system flows really well and rewarding when you execute a good combo in a certain order. Rage arts are cool but really simple to pull off (either it is just pressing 2 buttons at the same time or it is hold a certain direction + 2 buttons at the same time) except for Akuma's at least.

    The roster has been decreased to 38 fighters but more have been promised to be added later. So far all the doubles have been removed like Christie, Armor King, Anna, and Baek are gone as well as Lei, Wang, Marduk, Bruce, and Roger jr.

    Single player game modes, like arcade, have been kinda made pointless since all it does is earn you fight money which you can earn in treasure battle plus cosmetics which can either be added to all characters or just one in particular.

    Online for me was laggy as hell and I could hardly connect to other players so I can't really talk about it.

    Tekken is a great fighting game if you are looking to play with friends and family locally. Though you should probably wait for it to go on sale, due to its lack of modes and really short story, unless you have the money to spend    … Expand

    Best fighting mechanics . good Graphic . excellent combat system. 38 characters .more than injustice and mortal kombat and street fighter . great online mode.

    I love this game so much. The main story is somewhat short and sweet and so much content outside of the story. I did a Tournament online recently and that was hella good. I came 2nd, but what can you expect coming up against Martial Law in 1st :D

    Increíble juego, actualmente veo que están mas al pendiente de lo bonito que se vea, en vez de la experiencia de su jugabilidad, cosa en la que Tekken brilla. Sin problemas en partidas online, The Mishima Saga es muy bueno, pero muy corto, aun asi es muy buiena experiencia y en definitiva el mejor juego de peleas en la actual generación.

    The best fighting game in years! The gameplay is so addicting and every character feels complete, even the new character have a very satisfying movelist. Netcode is also very smooth for me, didn't have any problems so far.

    Tekken 7 is probably the greatest fighting game of this generation of consoles. It has great characters, The game play is better than ever. The story mode is really good as well. One complaint is that the story mode was too short for my liking, especially since we have waited for such a long time. The customisation mode is really good except sometimes i feel like I want more.     This is not an Uncharted game if you are looking for story. Tekken 7 has the best gameplay mechanics from the entire series and mastering a character takes time but pays off really well. Online experience alone can make you play the game many hours.The game is very much hype and so competetitive and high paced.     Just like the previous games learn to play could be a though and overwhelming task, de pp and polished mechanics make it worth the try, don't let the negative commentaries about the quality of his graphics distract you from enjoy one the best fighting games ever made

    It's tekken what you need to know afterall, so if you buy it you know what you get.
    After a year in japan we can get hands on. Despite difficulty levels is a little lower related to the other tekken it is still amazing! the care to the details are impressive. costumes, characters. Ok if you love tekken you have to get it in my opinon

O que temos aqui é um jogo completo com a devida competência, claro que vem mais conteúdo por dlc mas isso não tira o mérito do jogo por sí só já vir com bastante conteúdo de qualidade, desde o modo história (com a aparição do AKUMA) até o modo online rankeado.     Ugh, can't help feeling this is a step backward for the franchise. The whole thing feels schizophrenic; too flashy, too fast, too distracting, too shiny skin, too gritty filters. I wish I could turn all the effects off and just play a fighting game without worrying about having an epileptic seizure. This game reminds me of listening to one of those Mexican radio stations where the DJUgh, can't help feeling this is a step backward for the franchise.     1. Online is crap as hell, even after patch, you cannot connect, waiting few times more than playing to find an opponent (disconnecting and lost connection - typical issues). 2. Even when you find opponent, there is 1/3 chance you will lag, sometimes you will have 4-5 games in a row that you will have heavy lags. You can easily lose to someone    Dont buy this game. Accepting rematch with same opponent and map? I need to load it. For a game with so little textures and objects, this **** is constantly loading - you get old in this game, waiting for anything to happen.

    Bottom line, if you are a billionaire who burns money and just want to waste time by waiting for something to load and then lag to death... still dont buy it, donate to charity. It is the only online game I play that has so many, basic problems. It is as if Harada and his team, spend this 3 years on designing hats and tshirts for characters (which are still ugly ) instead of making online works, online which is the only thing making this game worth any penny. Its a waste of time and money, run, switch franschise, as clearly there is no future in Tekken.     Arcade mode is pointless as all the fighters are unlocked. To get their movie, you fight one single battle and its not even a CGI cutscene.

    No unlockable mini games. I was looking forward to a revamped Tekken Ball Mode ala Tekken 3. Once you completed the story, there's nothing much to do. They have a Treasure Mode which is like Ghost modes from Tekken 5, 6 and TTT2.

    Newcomers will love this. Loyal fans like myself will be disappointed. Not even soundtracks and ending movies from previous titles interest me.

    Only chance longevity at this point is Online and already the Ranking mode is already broken. I get 1 fight connected out of 10. Tournament mode is the only fun part, that's if you get a group from the same region and little ping.

    Rage Art is a joke, gives the losing person a chance by doing a move that'll take half your life away. I wasn't a big fan of the Rage system altogether to be honest.

    Tekkens 3, 5 and TTT2 imo are still the best of the series. Newcomers will enjoy this, but unless they release something like a Scenario Mode where you can grind gear and stats for your fighters like T6. This game's longevity won't go for very long, compared to other fighters like Injustice 2.

    I'm not going to be like other raging fan boys and give it a 0, but I'll give it a 7, putting my perspective to a new comer.

The lack of depth and subtlety and the emphasis on the offensive, rather than the defensive,Tekken 7 is a predictable follow-up to a series that's never aimed particularly high, it may please casual gamers for a day or two but the stagnant ongoing series is definitely in the second tier of fighters way below Capcom or NetherRealm Studios games, and it's seriously getting old and tired. The lack of depth and subtlety and the emphasis on the offensive, rather than the defensive, puts this squarely two notches below the best in the genre, the "who-can-get-their-super-move-off-first" gameplay leaves much to be desired from a serious fighting game player. Like the prequels, Tekken 7 is geared towards casual gamers and anyone who's been exposed to more technical, more dynamic fighting games will quickly pass on tekken. Other top fighters, namely Street Fighter, DoA and MK games have advanced impressively in their latest installments; but the relic that is tekken just can't seem to evolve, furthermore many combos can be done simply by hitting 1-button, and the nearly "instant-kill" rage art moves are just laughably broken. Instead of a supplying a proper fighting engine, matches in T7 seem to rely heavily on "who can get their rage move off first". So many elements of the gameplay don't even require any sort of skill. In my book, slow motion over and over again also gets old very quickly. And in the end, it's more of a novelty or gimmick rather than an actual, thought-out fighting game mechanic. But hey, the casual crowd will be pleased!

    If you want something a little more "button-masher-friendly," tekken might be your cup of tea.... Key word, might.    … Expand

    I have played all Tekken games since Tekken 2 and I cannot call this one of the best of the series (like T5 and TT2). The gameplay mechanics are very good, the battles feel fluid as ever and the fighting feels intense. Besides that, everything feels half baked: - Story mode is unfortunately a disappointment. It's short,    Core gameplay impeccable, everything else a step backwards..

    I have played all Tekken games since Tekken 2 and I cannot call this one of the best of the series (like T5 and TT2).
    The gameplay mechanics are very good, the battles feel fluid as ever and the fighting feels intense.

    Besides that, everything feels half baked:

    - Story mode is unfortunately a disappointment. It's short, narrated poorly and does not feel like a satisfying ending to the 20 year feud between the Mishimas (that we were promised). It's okay but nothing more.
    - No more specific ending movies for finishing arcade with the different characters. You get a small engine-based movie for some characters after a 1-battle story segment, These are not interesting / funny/ sad like older movies from older games.
    - Arcade mode is practically useless. All characters are unlocked and movies are unlocked from story mode. So you basically get no built in way to try the characters and the new characters like Josie, Kazumi and Katarina are barely introduced at all in the game.
    - Currently (with emphasis on currently) Online works quite poorly. You will wait a lot of time for a match and there are disconnections here and there.
    - No Lei Wulong :(((

    Overall for ppl who only play tekken for online 1vs1 this is okay since the core gameplay is magnificent but wait for online to be fixed. However, be prepared that this game does feel bare bones and does not satisfy regarding the Mishima Story.

    -The story mode is WAY too short. The Character Episodes are just a waste of time as they just unlock trophies and the endings are disappointing. There should have been a separate Story Mode for all the fighters.
    -I will never play Online mode because of Sony wanting my money to just be able to play online.
    -Lack of beloved Offline modes such as Team Battle, Time Attack, Survival and Ghost Battle. Arcade Mode is TOO short with only 5 battles. That is just pathetic compared to Tekken 6 which gave you 6 battles and Tag Tournament 2 which gave you 10 battles. Treasure mode is exactly like Ghost Battle in which you can earn prizes and money and do as many battles as you want until you get knocked out. it gets very boring very quickly and the items are not great for customization. You also get VS Battle and Practice.
    - The roster for the game is really poor. Only 35 fighters. They should have brought back more if not all the beloved fighters back like they did in Tekken 6 and Tag Tournament 2 apart from the ones that were in this game. Three of the new characters are essentially copies of Bruce Irvin, Christie Montiero and Craig Marduk who should been brought back. The other fighters are not even interesting.
    - I don't like the new mechanics at all.
    - Microtransactions for Eliza from Tekken Revolution, Geese Howard, Noctis or the whole First Season Pass and now the Second Series Season Pass which just came out over a week ago. This is something I thought would never see be done to this franchise as Katshuiro Harada the producer and director of the Tekken series HATES this idea and always believes that the full game should be on the disc.
    - The soundtrack is poor like Tekken Revolution and Tag Tournament 2 which came before this.

    The only things that are good about the game are the amazing graphics, the improved customizations, the superb sound, the gameplay returning to traditional Tekken gameplay like Tekken 5 and Dark Resurrection, the gallery which allows you to buy and watch Tekken 1-7 endings and concept art and the jukebox feature which allows you to change the games soundtrack to the classic Tekken 1-7 soundtrack for the stages and modes in the game.

    I still find this game very addictive to play from time to time.

    If you are a big fan of the Tekken series, do not buy this game. Go and buy the old Tekken games.    … Expand

    I can't say anything about online play yet, as I haven't been able to play it due to connectivity problems with their servers.

    Hopefully in the future they will release new game modes and characters. Have an option to remove Rage Arts and have stable servers. But until then, this game will sadly collect dust in my shelf.

    First of all, playing on a standard PS4, I was a bit disappointed that the game didn't run at 1080p. Everything look blurry compared to every other fighting game on the system. I would say it feels like I'm playing on a PS3, but I just played Soul Caliber V at 720p on a    I play fighting games primarily for their single-player content. I would say it feels like I'm playing on a PS3, but I just played Soul Caliber V at 720p on a PS3 and it looked sharper than Tekken 7 on PS4 (due to it outputting a native 720p image vs Tekken's upscaled 1080p image).

    I got used to the blurriness and didn't notice it much during fights, so it's not that bad.

    Story mode wasn't as good as I was expecting. The main story covers only about 5 of the characters, and isn't very interesting. I remember the story in one of the Tekken Tag Tournament games (forgot which one) was more interesting and involving than this.

    As for the other characters, you get only a couple of paragraphs each for them and a single fight. This is as close to "no story at all" as you can get.

    And to top off story mode, most of the non-Japanese voice acting is bad. I've gotten used to being able to switch to Japanese in other fighting games so I wouldn't have to deal with horrible English voice acting. There's no option here since everyone speaks their native language. Besides that, it is a little weird that everyone partakes in multi-language conversations.

    As for unlockables, there's a large number of player-specific health bar/menu skins which are useless unless you play online. There's a small number of unlockable costumes and costume pieces. Compared to Soul Caliber V, the costume pieces are higher quality and fit the characters better, but there's much less variety. There's also extras videos from the previous games that you can pay in-game money to unlock. These are sort of useless since I can watch them on youtube or by playing the previous games.

    As for how to unlock things, you can either play online or play treasure battles. The treasure battles are just regular fights that go on forever. Each time you win, you get a random item, most of which are not primary costume pieces. It's not that fun and I wish there was some sort of unlock progression or grid where you can choose which direction to go with what you want to unlock.

    So yeah, no skill challenges, no mini games that involve fighting, nor other interesting things that make single-player play more fun. Fighting continuous battles or online play is all you get.

    Extras are bare too. No battle recorder, no commentary, no figures (like in Guilty Gear), no good photo mode/poser, nor anything else that you might be able to sink your time into without going online.

    I hope this trend of no-single-player content doesn't continue. Well, I've always got DOA and Guilty Gear. But it might only be a matter of time before they strip away all of their content and revert to being bare-bones fighting games too.    … Expand

    Online is a disaster! At least on consoles. It's really hard to find matches and if you do find one it's very likely to lag. It's awful.
    Also the graphics aren't what we expected. I mean, tekken 7 on xbox one runs at 720p! This is a bad joke!

    Online is straight trash with piss poor matchmaking and horrible lags on the PS4. There is also more input delay on PS4. Not worth it...Namco should fix this game with a patch!

    firstly story mode is major disappointment . it is just a string of arcade style battles and nothing like tekken force mode i hoped to see it is basically ghost battle mode prompted with video material ...AWFUL (tekken 6 however had wonderful story campaign mode).

    They removed cgi movies after finish arcade battle just like old times . Now we have 10 15 second scenes . My main character is actually Bryan . When i looked for his move list damn it it was same w Tekken 6 and old games. No single difference except rage art thing.
    Worst story i ve ever seen if u wonder how tekken 7 's story continue , u better brace yourself and i really dont want to talk about online servers. I cant even play with my friends. Everything is same with old games, new thing is rage art ( xray combo from MKX ) and so many missing including characters...

    Tekken 7 ye karşı beklentilerimi çok yükseltmiştim. Özellikler trailer ını izledikten sonra hatta bu oyun alınır dedim ama büyük bir beklentiye girip almayın derim.
    Hikayeyi merak ediyorsanız zaten hiç almayın daha iyi şimdiye kadar gördüğüm en rezil hikayeye sahip tekken oyunu olarak tarihe geçebilir. Arcade dövüşlerinde hangi karakterle bitirince o karakterle ilgili yaklaşık olarak 4 5 dk CGI video izliyorduk karakterle ilgili ama onu da kaldırmışlar. Yok artık dedim. Story kısmında 1 dövüş yaptıktan sonra karakterle ilgili 10 15 sn süren kısa video koymuşlar CGI bile değil. Karakter listesi çok cılız. Yeni karakterlerin hepsinin stilini de beğenmedim diyebilirim. Çok eksiklik var. Online serverları rezelet durumda ki ben bir de Mortal Kombat X 'u eleştirirdim Ed Boon keşke biraz daha uğraşsaymış diye fakat tekken 7 nin yapımcıları hiç uğraşmamış belli. Karakter introları bile aynı . Hareket listesi bile aynı. Madem bunca şey aynı neden bu oyunu aldım diye sordum kendi kendime ve dersimi de aldım.     The last Tekken is a huge disappointment. Don´t get me wrong. There are some good features, like the options to choose any music from previous Tekken games or to play most of videos from them. But there are many poorly designed features. Let me get straight to the point. Where is the good old replay with slow motion and camera rotating around? Where is the adventure mode from Tekken 6? You can´t turn off or set any visual effects whatsoever. And the latest 1.03 update really got me angry as it completely rearanged customization color palette, where black color is more like light grey. What gives? Why can´t there be true black color option in all outfits, users would still be able to use grey color if the like... Also XiaoYu´s leggings´ color cannot be changed, it is possible to recolor one leg only.… Expand

    Tekken 7 is very much Tekken, exactly like you've always known it. Luckily the game knows how to get maximum gain out of seemingly minimal additions, like the flashy Rage Arts, tactical Power Crushes and surprisingly spectacular presence of Street Fighter icon Akuma. But due to the pretentious and disappointing single-player content it will never be a classic.
