    I had been waiting for this game for years. and i can say tekken 7 is the best fighting game of current generation and it worth waiting.
    the story is OK but i expected a much better and longer story but it's already exciting but some new players who don't know the story might not get it.

    the fighting system can't be any better they have improved tekken's awesome gameplay in the best way possible with new moves like rage art.and there are several enjoyable modes like arcade mode and treasure battle.online tournament mode is the best new addition. the only disappointing thing is that they have removed "team battle" mode which was the best offline mode since tekken 3 to tag 2 and me and my brother and my cousins played this mode more than any mode i hope they will bring this mode back with an update. and there is no reason for absence of "lei", "anna" and "roger jr" in characters i hope they return.

    the graphics are much better than previous titles but the game runs at 900p on ps4 and it's kind of annoying while much graphically heavier and more realistic games like injustice 2 and gta v .etc run at 1080p on ps4 but it's still beautiful to look at and play.

    although I've never been a fan of rock and metallic music i love game's musics and jukebox feature allows you to listen to all memorable musics from previous games.

    Tekken 7 is the best game in the series but they have to improve it by updates.    … Expand

    The next installment to the tekken series is here and I have to say that I am enjoying it but it is far from a perfect game. The story is more focused around the Mishima's which makes sense since the series has pretty much revolved around Heihachi, Kazuya, and Jin. It is pretty short and can be finished within 2-3 hours depending on whether or not the computer doesn't beat on you and onceThe next installment to the tekken series is here and I have to say that I am enjoying it but it is far from a perfect game. The story is more focused around the Mishima's which makes sense since the series has pretty much revolved around Heihachi, Kazuya, and Jin. It is pretty short and can be finished within 2-3 hours depending on whether or not the computer doesn't beat on you and once it is done you unlock other character's sidestory fights that don't necessarily tie into the Mishima's.

    The combat system flows really well and rewarding when you execute a good combo in a certain order. Rage arts are cool but really simple to pull off (either it is just pressing 2 buttons at the same time or it is hold a certain direction + 2 buttons at the same time) except for Akuma's at least.

    The roster has been decreased to 38 fighters but more have been promised to be added later. So far all the doubles have been removed like Christie, Armor King, Anna, and Baek are gone as well as Lei, Wang, Marduk, Bruce, and Roger jr.

    Single player game modes, like arcade, have been kinda made pointless since all it does is earn you fight money which you can earn in treasure battle plus cosmetics which can either be added to all characters or just one in particular.

    Online for me was laggy as hell and I could hardly connect to other players so I can't really talk about it.

    Tekken is a great fighting game if you are looking to play with friends and family locally. Though you should probably wait for it to go on sale, due to its lack of modes and really short story, unless you have the money to spend    … Expand

    Best fighting mechanics . good Graphic . excellent combat system. 38 characters .more than injustice and mortal kombat and street fighter . great online mode.

    I love this game so much. The main story is somewhat short and sweet and so much content outside of the story. I did a Tournament online recently and that was hella good. I came 2nd, but what can you expect coming up against Martial Law in 1st :D

    Increíble juego, actualmente veo que están mas al pendiente de lo bonito que se vea, en vez de la experiencia de su jugabilidad, cosa en la que Tekken brilla. Sin problemas en partidas online, The Mishima Saga es muy bueno, pero muy corto, aun asi es muy buiena experiencia y en definitiva el mejor juego de peleas en la actual generación.

    The best fighting game in years! The gameplay is so addicting and every character feels complete, even the new character have a very satisfying movelist. Netcode is also very smooth for me, didn't have any problems so far.

    Tekken 7 is probably the greatest fighting game of this generation of consoles. It has great characters, The game play is better than ever. The story mode is really good as well. One complaint is that the story mode was too short for my liking, especially since we have waited for such a long time. The customisation mode is really good except sometimes i feel like I want more.     This is not an Uncharted game if you are looking for story. Tekken 7 has the best gameplay mechanics from the entire series and mastering a character takes time but pays off really well. Online experience alone can make you play the game many hours.The game is very much hype and so competetitive and high paced.     Just like the previous games learn to play could be a though and overwhelming task, de pp and polished mechanics make it worth the try, don't let the negative commentaries about the quality of his graphics distract you from enjoy one the best fighting games ever made

    It's tekken what you need to know afterall, so if you buy it you know what you get.
    After a year in japan we can get hands on. Despite difficulty levels is a little lower related to the other tekken it is still amazing! the care to the details are impressive. costumes, characters. Ok if you love tekken you have to get it in my opinon

O que temos aqui é um jogo completo com a devida competência, claro que vem mais conteúdo por dlc mas isso não tira o mérito do jogo por sí só já vir com bastante conteúdo de qualidade, desde o modo história (com a aparição do AKUMA) até o modo online rankeado.     Tekken 7 was the first Tekken game I got on Day 1...and I kind of regret that. The Tekken series is my 2nd favorite fighting game series (right behind Mortal Kombat), and while Tekken 3 is still my favorite Tekken, I still like playing the other ones time to time. At first I was hesitant to buy this one, cause I'm use to getting them when they're cheaper (like around $20 or less). ITekken 7 was the first Tekken game I got on Day 1...and I kind of regret that. At its core, the game runs smoothly, it feels great to play, and it's just really solid overall. But when it comes to fighting games, they need some good extras if you're going to pay the full $60. Most of the past Tekkens seemed to have more than what this game has, at least good stuff. It also lacks more characters. Not saying there's very little characters, but it seems like there's less than before. The story mode was mediocre and so were everyone's endings. I got this thinking it was going to be the last main Tekken game, but I found out it's not. So this game is mostly just ok. I'd say wait for a price drop or sale for this game.… Expand

    I feel that this game is mainly for Tekken fans because the game lacks a lot of content and a tutorial for anyone who is new the franchise or a casual fan.

    A lot of mechanics are not explained or taught and it's up to the player to research them outside of the game (IE, Youtube videos). However, to their credit, they did enlist the help of a popular Tekken Youtube personality to create    I feel that this game is mainly for Tekken fans because the game lacks a lot of content and a tutorial for anyone who is new the franchise or a casual fan.

    A great deal of childhood memories are connected to this game. So i got this game to relive those memories. A lot of new characters are added in this version and they have changed the look of many characters.

    The story mode is way too short and they could have added few side plots to include the new characters ( -1 point).     Namco moved to Unreal Engine 4 which allowed better visuals and the spectacular Rage Art moves which has been introduced in Tekken for the first time. But i feel that the characters could have a better outlook. The hair looks very unreal and something about the characters gives the feel that they are not planned out well ( -1 point).

    Apart from that, it is still one of the best fighting games. So if you are thinking about it and are a fan of the Tekken franchise, go for it!!!    … Expand

    I have owned & played many fighting games like MK,Injustice & Street fighter. i can say Tekken has no rival when it comes to gameplay. It is the undisputed fighting game of all time

    On to the lack in cast - those listed by user Toxicology:
    First of all Alex, Ancient Ogre, Angel, Armor King ½, Azazel, Christie Monterio, Combot, Devil Kazumi, Dr. Bosconovitch, Forest Law, Gun Jack, Jinpachi Mishima, Julia Chang, Jun Kazama, Michelle Chang, Miharu Hirano, Mokujin, Prototype Jack, Raven, Roger, Roger Jr, Tiger Jackson - those were all reskins from cast who is actually on the rooster, dumb kangooro or raptor like roger/alex or **** end bosses like azazel - who really misses those? Good riddance. Well Christie was nice reskin from Eddy gordo.
    We actually can miss Anna Williams, Baek Doo San, Bruce Irvin, Craig Marduk, Ganryu, Julia Chang, Kunmitsu, Lei Wulong, Wang Jinrei, Zafina, but only 2 -3 of those were really popular (Marduk, Lei and maybe Bruce). I dont mention raven because there is a girl in T7 just like him. Besides I bet well see them in dlc later. New cast is also quite nice, and akuma is really fun addition because that is really one of the best character in all fighting games.

    True flaws of the game is net code at start (hope they fix it) and I miss the ability to choose one of the 3 opponents from tekken 5 when I play treasure hunt - also the same scenery for 5 or more matches is just not fun, it should shuffle it more.

    Other than that the game is just simple fun like always. Great graphics and perfect soundtrack. I just love to feel the power in punches/kicks from tekken which really is the best 3D fighting game on the market. And for that it deserves nothing less than 10 out of 10.    … Expand

    It's Tekken. We all know what it is. We all know what it means. We know what to expect. So don't go ahead and complain. Same dev team, same ambience, same story, characters, gameplay, just better graphics and new characters. As it should be. Thank you Namco.

    Played for few days, here's what I found:

    - Amazing graphics & soundtrack - Deep customization, ability to save 10 different customizations for each character - Smooth gameplay - Interesting story - "Mishima Saga" - Singe player modes are fun - Lots of unlockables (items, videos, etc) - Fight money is easy to earn - Great characters, interesting new characters like Gigas,    Played for few days, here's what I found:

    - Amazing graphics & soundtrack
    - Deep customization, ability to save 10 different customizations for each character
    - Smooth gameplay
    - Interesting story - "Mishima Saga"
    - Singe player modes are fun
    - Lots of unlockables (items, videos, etc)
    - Fight money is easy to earn
    - Great characters, interesting new characters like Gigas, Katarina
    - Online contains Ranked, Quick Match, and Tournament mode
    - Complete gallery (videos & artworks) from ALL previous Tekken games
    - Complete soundtrack from ALL previous Tekken games, ability to create playlists

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. E' il miglior picchiaduro in circolazione ed uno dei migliori mai realizzati . Ci sono non moltissime modalità, ma abbastanza e tutte fatte molto bene. A differenza di molti, la story mode non l'ho trovata cosi male , in fin dei conti parliamo di un picchiaduro ...e anzi, con qualche spunto in più, poteva essere una storia molto ben messa....tra l'altro le diverse iterazioni casual come quando Lars impugna l'arma ..non sono niente male. L'unica "pecca" se cosi la si può chiamare, è che forse il platino lo si ottiene in un tempo non molto ampio ...ma del resto , faccio parlare il voto .… Expand

    Best fighting game for this generation. Well narrated main story, good exciting mechanics boosted with great soundtrack. The only down side is the lack of story for the side characters. the single cut scenes jut quiet don't cut it.

    Tekken is back. And it gives you more of the same but with updated graphics for your PS4. The fighting engine is as great as ever. But if Namco is looking for new 'customers' for their franchise, then this is a very long and difficult learning curve for the newbie player. Yeah..you can always button mash, but as other fighting games have updated their tutorial feature, Tekken stillTekken is back. Most of the matches (not all) have had huge inconsistent lag spikes, making moves take 1-2 seconds longer to execute. What confuses me is that private matches have been nearly perfect, and player matches seemed to lag less than ranked.     Graficamente excelente. a nivel de jugabilidad, sobresaliente. Contenido es lo que le baja la nota y por eso no tiene un 10. Podría tener mas modos de juego, aunque tiene los fundamentales.

They are; 1) The game hasn't changed enough in over 20 years and is "outdated." When a perfect formula is arrived at, it doesn't need to be "updated" for the sake of presenting something new. We have seen dozens of fighting games come along since the first Tekken games, all of which brought something "new" to the table. But introducing new elements to games for the sake of bringing consumers something else to buy is a pathway to gimmicks, and that's exactly what tekken's competitors have offered. Tekken is as close to a quintessential esport as it gets, a game where button mashing will not prevail past the very introductory stages. What Tekken lacks in gimmicky features it makes up for in it's incredible complex movesets. Most of the negative reviewers gave higher scores to much easier games, though I would advise those reviewers not to give Tekken 7 a negative review merely because they did not put in the time it takes to learn its systems. 3) Tekken 7 lacks a good plot. This doesn't even merit response. The plots of fighting games are background filler, nothing more. Saying that you didn't like Tekken 7 because of lack of plot is like saying you didn't enjoy the super bowl because it lacked plot. It's a sport. There isn't supposed to be a plot.

    Finally a good fighting game for the PS4. It is also on the PC so double score. The animations are smooth the game play is fun and there is ton to learn as far as more advanced techniques.

    I know many were disappointed with the slight lack in content compared to previous games, but honestly the only thinks missing were modes that nobody used anyways. I can't remember a single time I or anyone else played Survival more than once, or Tekken Force again after beating it 2 or 3 times. I'm mainly into fighting games for the gameplay anyways and how competitive they can get. This is by far one of the smoothest and most balanced entries in the franchise yet. I can see attacks when they come and counter precisely. Taking hits never felt like anyone's fault but my own.

    The lack of content I mentioned beforehand didn't personally reduce my enjoyment of the game, but even if it did, the problem is fixed now. The Tekken Bowl update added a new mode, but was a tad bit pricey. Though there have also been tons of updates with free content including customizations pieces so it balances out nicely. With DLC planned all the way through Spring of next year, I'm excited to see what they've got planned. We already have 2 guest characters with their own stages confirmed. One of them has already been revealed to be Geese Howard with his tower stage. With how Namco treated Akuma better than his own game did, I'm certain Geese will make for a fantastic guest character.

    The story mode did leave a bit to be desired though. The gameplay was fantastic, and I enjoyed the story-exclusive gimmicks, don't get me wrong. But the plot itself wasn't all that great. They only half-way concluded the Mishima Saga and left several questions lazily answered or not answered at all. Don't even get me started on the character episodes. It definitely has its downsides, but if they aren't enough to lower the high I have on this game, then it's still a 10 in my eyes.    … Expand

    For me, Tekken 7 is the best entry in the series since 3. It offers a very solid base with great visuals and a punchy soundtrack. I feel like there's not a lot to hate here beyond the questionable rage art system, just a solid Tekken game.

    I was not disappointed by this entry, the revamped system rocks and this is the most balanced fighting game that I've played so far.

I'm not going to give any spoilers for the story mode because I'd actually suggest playing through it yourself if not just for the over the top story. Even though the campaign has this very poorly voice acted sections narrated by a character that's honestly not very well integrated into the story. The events that take place, as well as some final character development for Heihachi, are all worth going through those dreadfully boring sections that I ended up skipping past throughout a majority of the campaign. You also get side stories that happen alongside the main plot and cover every playable character, having two possible outcomes for most of the altercations. Even DLC characters such as Eliza and Geese Howard are fun to play and balanced, making it so that you don't have to hand over extra money to get the newest playable character to do well. I'm looking forward to the future Noctis DLC as well, as I've been enjoying FFXV quite a bit.

    My favorite part of the game, and where I spend about a quarter of my time playing it, is the character customization that allows you to create new outfits for every character. Some, like Panda and Kuma, are limited in their customizability, but a majority of the characters can be made to look as ridiculous, sexy, or badass as you want them to be. it allows for me replayability and, like Soul Calibur's IV and V, this is the section that keeps me coming back.

    My only complaint is that the online is a mess. In most other games like this, that would be a detriment, but there's enough to do in the singleplayer and local multiplayer that it doesn't bother me too much.

    On top of being stoked to finally jump back into Tekken after all these years, Tekken 7 delivers on pretty much all fronts. I grew up with Tekken 3 and I'm happy we finally got a new Tekken that does the series justice. Highly recommended.

Judging the whole package I would give a 8,5 out of 10 having Tekken 3 and Tekken 5 in comparison, but it's impossible to not give 10 because this is the fighter that I can see a better future. Bandai Namco and Harada (the director of the franchise) confirmed they are gonna give support to increase the game's lifetime with more content and whatever fixes it needs. So even if you are a long time Tekken player like me and get a little bit disappointed with offline content, you must have in mind that this game was made to keep going for at least 6 years and to keep it fresh, things will come slowly but surely. This is new to franchise and was exactly what Tekken 6 needed but didn't have (hence the game died within it's third year), so be cool and patient cause things will get better and better in the right time. Beautiful graphics, cool stages, new default costumes for everybody, new moves, and the inclusion of new mechanics like Rage Drives, Rage Arts, PowerCrushes and real time Slow Motion are the cherry on top.     While Tekken 7 can feel a little “been-there done-that” when it comes to the game mechanics, it’s one of the most fun classic-style fighters I’ve played in a really long time. The variety in the character selection and customization is unmatched in the genre, the fighting is delightfully simple yet still packing a lot of complexity, and Treasure Mode is a blast.

    After all the stupid things you've had to fight in Tekken over the 20 years of the series, it all just comes down to father and son duking it out yet again. Then it becomes like Super Smash Bros. with just about everybody joining the King of Iron Fist Tournament. Hard to see Dead or Alive 6 being better then this next year.

Through Tekken I was able to forge friendships I never thought I would have been able to that last to this day.

    The games fun and its probably the most accessible fighting game ive played. The controls are pretty easy and even as a beginner I could beat some of my cousins who are pretty good at the game. I dont own the game so im just judging by whenever I play it with my cousins. Its definitely fun if you like fighting games or have siblings or friends that would play with you.

It’s very fast paced, and can be quite heart racing. Today, I’m still only in orange ranks, but I have a blast playing everytime. Combos are very rewarding to learn, as well as parties and defense mechanisms. Overall, if you’re looking for a fighting game to to seriously sink your teeth into competivitly, I would strongly recommend Tekken 8. PS: anybody complaining about DLC, you’re probably just just too broke to buy it in the first place.,… Expand

Many of the fighting games have it for free, and its a resource that you can find in the web to improve yourself. This kinda gives to the game a glance of pay-to-win system.

    Best fighting game ever, personally the best ps4/ xbox one game in general for me. Amazing graphics, just the right amount of humor and sobriety at the same time. Characters are great. It is not easy to master these characters either, it takes a lot of practice although it's still naturally Tekken in all its glory.

    La saga mas completa de Tekken con 51 personajes, buenos gráficos y fluidez en los combates y me gusta el Ataque Rip Art. En PS5 se muy bien y se nota la fluidez que da la Potencia de Consola.
    Tal vez algo negativo es que a la IA le ganas con el movimiento de fáciles y sin complicaciones;
    presionando abajo y atrás al mismo tiempo y presionas continuamente circulo y hasta Perfect sacas.

    Great fighting game, the movement is fast paced, the combat is amazing and the music is decent but the offline content is very bad. Overall it's one of the most enjoyable recent fighting games.

El único problema es que la selección de personajes no es tan buena como en tekken 6, a excepción de AKUMA, que es un personaje muy bueno traído de Street Fighter.

    How is this amazing game 6.5 at the timme of this review? Yeah, maybe the game needs a better customization and DLC strategy...But the game is great!

    Als ein Mann, der mit Tekken aufgewachsen ist, erfüllte mich der Einstieg in dieses neue Spiel mit solcher Freude, ich genoss die kleinen Story-Modi und ich genoss das unglaubliche Gameplay insgesamt sehr.

    This game is the reason why I'm interested in Tekken again after so many years, this is definitely the best Tekken game in terms of gameplay.
    The gameplay is amazing, it feels smooth and responsive, and there's an insane amount of combos that you can do.
    The stages look beautiful for the most part, and the music is okay. The story tries to do something cool but ultimately falls flat    This game is the reason why I'm interested in Tekken again after so many years, this is definitely the best Tekken game in terms of gameplay.

    I think the biggest problem of the game is the lack of single player content. If you don't want to play multiplayer, there's barely anything for you to enjoy here and that's a shame.

    The game does feel unfinished sometimes, especially after that rough start. The DLCs complete it and improve the game a lot but there are many of them to the point where it just gets annoying.

    Overall it's one of the most enjoyable recent fighting games and a great entry in the Tekken series, solely because of its diverse character roster and fun additional gameplay mechanics.

Tem uma jogabilidade perfeita, gostoso de jogar. porem os loadings são muito grandes e tiram um pouco do clima entre as lutas, o elenco de personagens jogáveis apesar de inferior a outros games é bom, uma pena ficarem lançando dlc com personagens clássicos, eu até entendo cobrarem a parte pesonagens de outras series como o Negan. mas cobrar por lei,É o melhor jogo de luta da geração.     It's a very good fighting game. The fighting itself feels as great as ever, it's the best Tekken game to date in that regard. Sadly, the offline content is disappointingly thin.

    I played Tekken first time on Arcade since i don't have game console when i was a kid. And Tekken always gets better from time to time. Tekken 7 is the best now, waiting for Tekken 8 to take over the throne

    Tekken 7 is very much Tekken, exactly like you've always known it. Luckily the game knows how to get maximum gain out of seemingly minimal additions, like the flashy Rage Arts, tactical Power Crushes and surprisingly spectacular presence of Street Fighter icon Akuma. But due to the pretentious and disappointing single-player content it will never be a classic.
