Probably the most overrated PSVR game in my opinion. I was really excited to finally buy and play this but while it's occasionally very fun and exciting, most of the time I felt annoyed that I have to replay through the same segments again and again. I honestly wouldn't care if the game were sorter, I just wish it had checkpoints on every segment as it get tedious quickly. The gunplay isProbably the most overrated PSVR game in my opinion. The gunplay is very cool but throwing objects seems extremely awkward and unpredictable to the point that I just don't bother with it anymore. Expand

    +Fantastic matrix style slo-mo shootouts
    +Excellent stylized visuals
+Great gameplay -Tracking issues -Frustrating gameplay due to tracking -Short campaign length My opinion here may well be skewed due to my numerous tracking issues. My VR play space is tiny (5.5ft away from cam only) so the pseye cant quite see all of me from most angles, I think to play superhot best pseye needs

My opinion here may well be skewed due to my numerous tracking issues. My VR play space is tiny (5.5ft away from cam only) so the pseye cant quite see all of me from most angles, I think to play superhot best pseye needs full view of your body's sitting/low down and standing positions to improve move controller tracking so you can pick up objects etc from diffent ducked down positions. What this meant was lots of move controller tracking issues for me. So I do recommend playing this if in a larger playing area else expect some extra problems tracking the move controllers.

Still when the tracking was ok this was exactly as fun as I thought it would be, although short (maybe 2 hours in length) what works here is excellent. I got a serious workout playing this morning which involved my hilarious neo style dodging in my underpants ... This is what vr is all about!!

Generally good mechanics but, as other people have correctly said, throwing is not implemented properly. It breaks the whole experience and impedes progression.

The whole game becomes an increasingly frustrating experience. To progress you need to throw and it just doesn't work. I've tried many ways, placing camera at the bottom, at the top, tried to do it in different ways with no

Gave up at the end... A pity...

Nice game but also some lagging controls. Tracking with motion controller is not as perfect. The idea is good and basically it makes fun when moving around bullets in slow motion like Neo inside the Matrix. Personally I miss some story, more different level design, deeper gameplay and even more variety at all. It really feels like an unfinished indie game that exist of a wireframe sandbox.Nice game but also some lagging controls. Tracking with motion controller is not as perfect. Superhot VR was a proof of concept that won the hearts and minds of any non-gamer we handed it to. But for serious gamers, this is an offering lazier than the bullets depicted. [October 2017, p77]

Wonky tech and punishing challenges will leave your cold, but with our without VR, this has moments of brilliance that are worth the price of admission alone. [Oct 2017, p.88]

SUPERHOT VR is a dazzling experience that manages to improve on what was already mind-bendingly intense. I didn’t think it was possible, but the developers have improved on SUPERHOT, cutting what little fat there was off of and leaving only the purest moments of intense violence. SUPERHOT was a completely bold and different addition to the world of FPSs, and SVR manages to do exactly the same thing to the virtual reality scene.
