    Despite some weak points, Super Bomberman R, is a funny and madly entrance for both classic players and casual ones that are playing a Bomberman for the first time. I recommend you to play it with your friends or for those moments when you need a break and just have fun. The game doesn't pretend to be something else but a Bomberman, and that's why It works.

    Super Bomberman R comes to PS4, Xbox One and PC with updated graphics, some brand new features and playable characters, like Ratchet and Clank for PS4 and Master Chief for Xbox One. Besides these plus, it is exactly the same game, extremely enjoyable if played with at least a couple of friends.

    Despite a couple of flaws, Super Bomberman R is a strong entry into a long-running franchise. It doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel, but offers enough variation to the gameplay to keep veterans of the series on their toes, while also helping newcomers ease into the format. It’s a shame that online battles seem to be such a mess at the moment, because with that up and running to its full potential this would easily be the definitive Bomberman game.

    Super Bomberman R makes its grand debut on PlayStation 4 without any significant changes. The fun part of the game stays with its story mode as well as the local multiplayer, due to the fact that there are barely any active online sessions. The gameplay, albeit simple and effective, feels old-fashioned and it becomes repetitive after some time.

    Super Bomberman R is very much a Bomberman game. It does little new for the franchise but excels in what the franchise is known for, which is being a fantastically moreish multiplayer free-for-all that always begs for one more go.

    While future Bomberman games have the potential to assert themselves as more lengthy and strategy-demanding titles deserving of a mind-blowing rating, the current release really is just lighthearted and fun … and that’s just fine.

    Super Bomberman R goes big on multiplayer and brings the fun. The campaign however does not due to a weird balancing act. Thanks to fast gameplay and many characters there is plenty to do even though the in-game currency is way off.

    Bomberman returns after years of absence and the game offers a varied campaign and a multiplayer mode which at the time of writing feels online a bit empty. Some badly designed levels combined with a faulty camera cause some cheap deaths and the credit system is pretty awkward. Nonetheless the game still remains a fun title.

    I used to play Bomberman Party all day. I had huge expectations for this game but unfortunately, it did not deliver. It was still a good gameI used to play Bomberman Party all day. Something that could emulate the fun it was playing Bomberman on the PS1. It might have not lived to my monumental expectations but it was still a pretty good Bomberman game to play for a few hours.

    Super Bomberman R is undeniably fun to play with friends or family but on your own, it is pretty boring. The bots are super dumb and the mode story isn't very interesting. That's it. It's worth buying if you find it cheap enough but the content isn't that great. Some of the characters are fun to play as but it gets old fast. Another major issue found in this game is its dead community. There is no one playing this online so you have to play with bots and in this game, they're just too easy to read. They're AI is ridiculous.

    If you have someone to play this with online or local, I still recommend giving it a try but only if you find it dirt-cheap as it lacks content to keep you hooked for long hours. It could also be a good gift for your kids/younger siblings as its simple gameplay is easy to master even for kids.    … Full Review »

    I've already bought this games. So much fun to play Coop with my wife and any players. This game different since running on Nintendo

    The game is way overpriced and you should for sure get it on a huge sale instead of buying for full price. Local multiplayer is a lot of fun, but there could and should be more options for customization like amount of items droped, the rate at which the different types are dropped and so on to make it possible to bring more variety into the matches. Gameplay itself is fine but lacks variety. Overall it is a barebone bomberman yet fun bomber game that offers not too much for lot of money asked for. Also it misses a way to unlock all ingame content with a shortcut, not everyone has time and motivation to grind through the singleplayer to unlock all of the ingame content.… Full Review »
