Sep 5, 2016SteamWorld Heist quickly seized my attention with its interesting world and charming characters, but its addicting combat and rewarding RPG mechanics are what really made the game hard to put down.

Jul 29, 2016Overall, SteamWorld Heist is one of the most accessible strategy games you will ever wish to discover and play with an incredible depth of gameplay and features.

Jun 30, 2016All in all, Image & Form have once again knocked it out of the park with Steamworld Heist. Fun, addictive and comical, it has everything in needs to become another success for the Icelandic studio.

Aug 17, 2016SteamWorld Heist is a steampunk tactical game with attitude and a cool gameplay mechanic. It's a truly great product that has become one of the best indie games of the year. There's a lot to be satisfied about: great graphics, excellent combat and interesting dialogue. Fans of high difficulty levels and tactical, turn-based games and should definitely give it a go.

Jul 5, 2016Not much has changed since Steamworld Heist's debut last December: the game is still intoxicating and addictive, and now features the always welcome cross buy feature that will allow to play it both on the couch and during lunch breaks. If you love turn-based strategy games, it's a strong recommendation.

Jun 29, 2016With its addictive and accessible gameplay, not only is it the perfect title for players of any skill level to test their metal, but you'll also have such a good time playing it that you'll quickly forget it isn't the direct sequel to SteamWorld Dig that you may have been hoping for.

Jun 18, 2016I’m thoroughly enjoying playing this game and I appreciate being able to keep the level of difficulty at a setting I feel comfortable with before each mission, which can be adjusted or decreased if you so choose. I just wish they had a bit more to offer to offer in terms of objectives.

Jun 9, 2016A superb mix of action and strategy that should be enough to convince everyone that turn-based doesn’t have to mean slow or serious.
-
Jun 15, 2016A great game that may surprise fans of the previous game, but in a good way. The style and design of the world, characters and combat is fantastic. The turn-based combat is surprisingly fluid and fast-paced and there’s plenty of upgrades and variations to play with.
