    Overall: Decent game. Fun for a 6/10

    Cons: Poor writing

    Slog to finish, no desire to playthru NG+

    Set in the world of previous title Steamworld Dig, this is a turn-based strategy title that's more arcade-orientated than the likes of XCom. Easy to pick up and play but it soon gets fiendishly difficult in ways that don't seem altogether fair on the player. Pretty good as a handheld game thanks to the lack of competition in the genre but it feels a little shallow when played on a homeSet in the world of previous title Steamworld Dig, this is a turn-based strategy title that's more arcade-orientated than the likes of XCom.     SteamWorld Heist quickly seized my attention with its interesting world and charming characters, but its addicting combat and rewarding RPG mechanics are what really made the game hard to put down.

    SteamWorld Heist is a steampunk tactical game with attitude and a cool gameplay mechanic. It's a truly great product that has become one of the best indie games of the year. There's a lot to be satisfied about: great graphics, excellent combat and interesting dialogue. Fans of high difficulty levels and tactical, turn-based games and should definitely give it a go.
