    Great game, they really poured their souls into this one. Only could use more aliens, maps, heroes, conquest mode, etc, the type of game you wish still had live-service updates!

    Played Star Wars Battlefront very excellent game also great graphics and voice work also easy controls really enjoy how if you play skirmish mode which can you play either Walker Assault or Fighter Squadron on various worlds of the Star Wars Universe which include Tatooine, Hoth,Endor, Sullust and Jakku you are thrown into a war in the of The Star Wars An Improved Game Thanks to DLC Skirmish Mode

    This game was one of the first games that I logged 500+ hours in. IMO, this game is the definitive Star Wars game, even though I can see all the arguments against it. You can tell at launch it was very rushed, as there were only about 8 game modes (of which only 3 were good), about 4 unique maps and no single player story. The heroes and villains and the starships are the most unique parts of these games, and they do not disappoint (except the fact that you have to run around the map looking for a pickup). If you get the chance to experience this game and it's DLC, the Bespin and Death Star maps are my favourite level designs, maybe ever. I might be biased cause I love Star Wars, but this game is just that good after 5 years.… Expand

    Les jeux vidéo ne son pas mon fort mes je peut dire que ce jeux la est un très bon jeux. Les graphisme de ce jeux sont éblouissent. Les maps son très bien reproduite. Tous les objectif du jeux son très bien pansé. Les scènorios de bataille on toute l’aire réaile.

    Loved this game. Gameplay and visuals were 10/10. Just needed a bit more unlockables, skins and heroes.

    There is no denying that Star Wars Battlefront left a lot to be desired, it is quite a flawed game. But, as an avid Star Wars fan, I had a blast playing this game. The game looks so beautiful it definitely throws in the argument of quantity vs quality. Some say the quality of the game wasn't enough to compensate for the lack of content. I think it was, but it's completely up to you. IThere is no denying that Star Wars Battlefront left a lot to be desired, it is quite a flawed game. But, as an avid Star Wars fan, I had a blast playing this game. The game looks so beautiful it definitely throws in the argument of quantity vs quality.     One of the most unfairly maligned games for PS4. Simple FPS third person combat, beautiful settings, brilliant game modes, great progression systems, and just an all around fun game that stands the test of time.

    Lack of content? Sure. But that's why we have Battlefront 2! Can't wait.

    Feels like that people that complain about the game actually never played the battlefront series before, I mean its a great game, a really battlefront tittle, with a few changes, the only thing that I think is a con for the game is the season pass that add maps that should be on the original game.

    graphics aren't everything but this game reminds me of the call of duty games its pretty much call of duty but star wars. the pace of this game is good and the gameplay is fantastic and the sound effects are spot on

    Star Wars Battlefront have amazing climate from the Star Wars universe. The positive aspects of the Star Wars Battlefront is:
    - Original sound in the game, attention to detail, beautiful graphics, variety maps, fun in multiplayer and in single (split screen), and a lot of stuff to unlock.
    Negatives:
    - Price and too small content for people without season pass.

    This games is spot on! The season pass is good too! Great shooting game with great game modes and many Easter eggs for the die-hard fans! I play this game heavily and spent much time seeing how I can do batter. Also, they have added more single player modes and have added more maps. This game has been a blast for me!

    Battlefront is one of my favorite FPS's. The game is highly addictive and fun to play with friends. You don't need to have watched Star Wars to understand the game. I like the Star Cards system that lets you unlock more abilities which can be used with the press of a button. The power-ups across the map are nice too. Ok I will admit it is kind of dull later on because the base game only has like 11 guns and only a few maps that are good but if you like Star Wars and Battlefield then I'm pretty sure you will like this.… Expand

    By far, this game has enough content to compare it with Battlefront II.
    The graphics at it's best, the gameplay as it's best, the servers are great. This game will give you at least 50 hours of gameplay before starts to be boring. People are hating this game because they don't want to afford over $100 on the game + extra content. It's a masterpiece.

    I love Battlefront. I do agree that it has a couple of big things missing. Primary among those a full single player experience and better matchmaking aimed at balance.
    That said, the graphics are amazing. I find myself wanting to just watch the background sometimes, or investigate the far corners of the map just to see what is there. Beautiful, almost like moving artwork.

    The gameplay can be extremely satisfying, and I’m no FPS pro. I’m a veteran of games like Doom and Halo, but never was good at ‘twitchy’ games like Battlefront or Call of Duty. Perseverance does pay off, with better side arms and accessories, and with gameplay experience that translates to a better understanding of why and how to attack a mission. That perspective gives a better gameplay experience than just running to the front, shooting, and dying, over and over. I’m a stats guy, and though mine are not good – I still take pride in improvement, and the fun moment of a plan being executed.
    Some missions will be more fun depending on the gameplay experience you want to have. Too much run and gun? Try Extraction or Cargo Run, where stealth can pay dividends. Playing as the heroes is always fun, though difficult at times. And the Starfighter battles are good. Not great – like the old X-Wing and TIE Fighter games on PC. They tend to be a big fur ball, like an old cartoon, but it’s still fun to drop in on every once in a while.
    If you like Star Wars, and like FPS at all, you will love playing Battlefront. Until you get hosed 1kill-9deaths in a mission. Then you will decide how much you like it – and do you want to improve. There is no wrong answer there, and I do look forward to a full single player in the next SW Battlefront.    … Expand

    A huge surprise for me! After around 2 or 3 years away from FPS games I really thought that I would never love a game of that kind as much as I loved this one. Probably should have more offline content? Sure. Should it have a story mode? Sure. But this is a really fun FPS online game. Keep in mind that in opposite of almost all the people that love this game, I am not familiar with StarA huge surprise for me! After around 2 or 3 years away from FPS games I really thought that I would never love a game of that kind as much as I loved this one. Probably should have more offline content? Sure. Should it have a story mode? Sure. But this is a really fun FPS online game. Keep in mind that in opposite of almost all the people that love this game, I am not familiar with Star Wars movies. Never seen them, but yet I loved every single moment spent in Battlefront. Platted it even though there was a broken trophy (Glitch)!… Expand

    Pros -
    Presentation: The game looks and plays incredibly. Not only as a Star Wars entity, but as a game on its own. It almost makes me feel like I'm a kid, playing at the arcade on some high-budget Star Wars game that will never in a million years make it to console. But this truly is that game. The musical numbers from the trilogy are well selected, and it sounds and looks about as much as Star Wars as you can get.

    Multiplayer: Playing with friends is easy to set up and endlessly fun.

    Cons -

    Overall Game Interface: The title screen and menus for this game feel like a damn Health Insurance website. Having to register for some worthless EA account isn't exactly a pleasure either.

    Imbalanced Game Mechanics: During flying mode (Flight Squadron) it is pretty obvious that the Imperials have a disadvantage. While Rebel ships are equipped with shields, Tie fighters only have a boost which doesn't do much good in a battle. Maybe it would if this were a race...(or a Pod race)

    Heroes: I do not care for Hero mode. Nostalgia is not as important as gameplay and these guys are nearly impossible to kill unless you gang up on them.

    Simplicity: It's a simple game. You start on a menu, you select a game, and then you shoot lasers at each other and that's pretty much it. If you want more out of your video games, or just a more in depth open world choice-based experience, you won't find that in Battlefront.

    Content Releases: 50 dollars is a little steep for just the first quarter of an expansion (which so far is only 1 new level). And the 'new heroes' are just characters we already had (Nien Numb and a Rodian), with different color clothing. It just reeks of 'Scammery'.

    Once again, this game will grow on you. At first it is very simple, almost too simple. You start with very little inventory, and basically no customization options. But the more you play, the more you are able to unlock and you start to see how in depth this game really is. There are far more items, weapons and fighting mechanics than what seems at first glance. And I can't stress enough how much more fun it is to play if you have a friend or two. That seems to be how this game was meant to be played. Being a major Star Wars nerd doesn't hurt either.    … Expand

    This game does not have much depth although it is still a GOOD game. It may rely on expansion packs but so do most games these days so that did not bother me to much. You should get this game especially if you are a Star Wars fan!

    Looks amazing! Seriously, I mean WOW! You do feel like you are in the SW world. Unfortunately it goes downhill from here. Cons: 1. There is no story mode, so that limits your experience. The solo or co-op missions are severely lacking. It’s just do the same thing 15 times. No, seriously, that’s it. Really!

    The lack of weapon customisation and small gains obtained from upgrading star cards I see as overall very positive because it ensures the most hardcore gamers don't get big advantages over those who don't have so much to play. It maintains some level of balance, keeps matches close and engaging. The hero power ups enable even the worst players to get a load of kills and top the table at the end of the match. The training and single player missions are a very good way to practice before jumping into the online matches and I am very glad they are there.

    Overall Star Wars Battlefront is one of the best games I have ever played and receives a well deserved 9/10 from me. This is a game I can see myself playing for a long time to come. I can't wait for the DLC!    … Expand

    Its the shooter of the year for me. Graphically, its pretty good, but the textures really arent that great. But, its the gameplay that really drives the game. Sure, I'd like more content, like a conquest mode, but its fun. Much better than BO3.

    I really like this game, it has amazing graphics, gameplay, and Darth Vader is cool. I only wish Jar Jar Binks was in this game. This game gets an 8/10. Okay to be serious this is a really enjoyable game, don't really understand the hate.

    I think the game is awesome. It looks amazing on my television and some of the modes are so chaotic it gives quite an adrenaline rush. I wish you could couch co-op with your buddies though in online mode.

    Likely the most amazing game I've ever seen visually.

There aren't many guns but there are more than enough, most people hate this game because of the lack of maps, lack of guns, but come on..it's star wars! What more did u expect? This is not a competitive game by any means once again, it is a FUN game though. I seriously could not stop playing it when I got it, played for a good 4 hours straight until I forced myself to stop playing Drop Zone.. anyways, this game is great for casual gamers, it looks beautiful and there are no bugs, at least from what I had played so far. This is the last time I trust reviews for games, these reviews did no justice, people tend to be really picky nowadays, sometimes I feel like they got paid to write a bad review LOL!     I've waited this game for a long time and I had high expectations in general I liked the game but there are no story mode that's the bad part. But multiplayer is amazing, fantastic, great and perfect. It has several modes that you can play with strangers or you can play with your friends, Missions are generally boring few of them are fun.     Some games are imbalanced which is why I gave it a 9, but on the other had I admire the tenacity which the system keeps you with the players you have been playing with through multiple games to bring about a sense of team...    … Expand

Ya maybe you will only pick it up for an hour at a time but if u have 1 friend to partner up with and a mic you can sink some hours into it. Instead of sweating with your face three inches from the screen nervous to die because you will be placed a mile away, you will laugh when you get hit by a thermal imploder and see your character cartwheel through the air.     In supremacy, it is absolute madness outdoing the ground war mode of call of duty. Almost everything in this beats call of duty as a first person shooter, maps are huge, vehicles are more useable. Very easy to see that this game is developed by the same guys as battlefield but just fantastic

    No weapons are blatantly more over powered and remarks that it is dominated by those who play a lot more is rubbish, you may get killed a few times and they will pop up top of the leaderboard but there's plenty of chances to get your own back.

    The complaint of the DLC is also ridiculous, I'm not buying it because I don't have too! The game is good enough as it is, the complaint is just people being petty and not playing the game as it should be played, a first person shooter with actual gameplay in mind.

    Perfect for those who love their Star Wars and FPS's, best shooter of 2015 and best shooter of mine for years to come, mind this is very much my opinion and my wantings in a game, very multiplayer based but it's so good and diverse it washes away the lack of single player modes.     - Some game modes are very short when i would like them to be a bit longer.
    - No character customization or weapon mods.
    - An AI to shoot at during multiplayer.
    - Becoming a hero requires a random pickup instead of being a reward to a skillful player.

I wish that EA had found a way around having to buy PS Plus to do multiplayer, as the single player missions are lacking, with only training, Offline Battles, and Survival, which the best of these modes is Survival. I give this game a 8/10

    I like the well built and balanced gameplay that is a signum for DICE but i question the arcade feeling it has taken. If you do not like playing online shooter games, do not get this game. It's amazing in my opinion for what it is, but obviously it's going to suck for what it is not. There is a local game mode, but it's minimal. I've had a good time with a buddy on split screen with a couple of the scenarios, but mainly this game is built for online shooter fans.

    If you are a Star Wars fan. This game is fun. They did a good job of catering to the movies and creating the feel of the Star Wars world. There is something pretty awesome about walking out onto the battlefield as Darth Vader and using your light saber to deflect the enemy shots back at the enemies.     Graphics- beautiful, and most importantly, looks like star wars. 9/10

    ambiance- this maybe the best part of the game. The sounds and feels of the game are spectacular, and every time you hear the screech of a tie fighter or the zing of a blaster, you feel at home 9/10

    game-play- wickedly fun, for the first few hours. The game-modes are repetitive and annoying at some times, but as long as you take small enough doses of this game you will always finding yourself coming back for more of the beauty and fun and fun of this game. The gun-play is fast and smooth, animations are flawless, and heroes and power-ups add a little more fun into each game-mode, but it still isn't enough at sometimes. 7/10

    maps- Big and beautiful and full of nostalgia and star wars beauty. There may not be to many of them, but they all seem to give me the feels. 8/10

    game-modes- ah, the game-modes. There are now 10 of them, but most of them feel the same. My favorites are probably walker assault and drop-zone, and basically all the rest are variations of those. It is disappointing because EA DICE could have made some really cool game-modes, but of course there is the DLC. Oh wait. its 50 dollars. 6/10

    Customization- The star card system is interesting, but the idea of cards refreshing to be used again is hard to get right. there is a good amount of customizing with star cards, and allows for endless variations of cards. The emotes are cool, and there are many different facial customization to choose from too. Unfortunately, there aren't to many guns to choose from. 8/10

    now for the final verdict. Star Wars battlefront is a good game, but not a great game. it exceeds in big pretty maps, nostalgia, and fun , fast game-play. Sadly, it falls due to repetitive, to similar game-modes and lack of content. Hey, this is the age that developers hold back content and sell it as DLC later, right? (I'm looking at you, Destiny.)

    After playing this game for the last week or so, I can see why some people were disappointed with it but I can say that I am loving it. It looks amazing, it plays just fine and there is plenty to do. It's probably one of the most ambitious games made recently and it maybe doesn't fire on all cylinders but it's the best Star Wars games ever.

    The gameplay is great, it's fun, addicting, not too hard to learn, the heroes and villains are great and so are the ships (if you have trouble flying them, invert Y axis, it helps a lot) the music and sound effects are simply PERFECT and the graphics are fantastic, DICE really nailed the star wars aesthetic here. The multiplayer in Battlefront is great, the best modes are Supremacy, Walker Assault, Hero's vs Villains and Fighter squadron.

    Now this game isn't perfect, it DESPERATELY NEEDS the capability to do split-screen while in online multiplayer, that would be fantastic. There isn't enough offline content, the ability to play the online modes while offline against bots would fix that. There needs to be MORE planets/maps and heroes, it's disappointing that we are getting them in an overpriced season pass.

    Now, is this game worth it's price?? If you love star wars and want a fun shooter that feels like star wars the YESSSS this is worth it. If you don't / kind of like star wars then i would not recommend this, the star wars feel just wont be for you. YES the game needs more content, NO this is not a bad game. Just imaging what DICE could have done if they had an extra 6 month of development.......    … Expand

    This game is amazing , it packs loads of fun , the only downfall is that it hasn't got that much single player missions and there is no campaign , still doesn't make it a bad game .

    Okay, this game is more like a 8/10, but because so many people are giving this a 0/10, I want to make it fair. After playing for a few hours, it is not that bad. I do not recommend it at $60, but if you got it at $40 like I did, I think that is fair.

    I would have given this game an 8 had it not been for the graphics. The game is a lot of fun, but it's definitely not like the older ones. With a lot of improvements in some areas. It's lacking in others such as the campaign, the weapon list, space battles, and some other items. This isn't your normal FPS, and even though some say it's dumbed down. Those who are very talented at FPS will do better than those who aren't, but it still gives you a chance to become better overtime, and is a fun learning curve.

    With aerial battles being one of my highlights. I'm a tad disappointed that they removed the space battles, but I'm sure one of the DLC's will contain this.    … Expand

    Fun game. Unique gameplay and features. Incredible graphics and sound. However, not much content. Unless you LOVE Star Wars, it will get old fast due to lack of content

    It's Star Wars. It's blasters. It's X-Wings... Could it be better? Yep. Single player is basically nothing. Is it super fun to play none the less? Yes. Also, all the DLC coming out will make it worth it.

    This game is really underrated, it's not Battlefront 3 or Battlefield with new skins. It's an original game with one of the most impressive graphics and sounds. And this game doesn't lack of content as many people say. The content is spread into a lot of different game modes.     Regarding FPS multiplayer there was nothing like call of duty for me since Modern warfare, I tried battlefield, Halo, Destiny, those were all really good, but it was just a distraction. Now new COD is out and I didnt even get to the prestige mode yet and I just got completely sucked in by Battlefront.     I find it a great game but lacked what all battlefront is the originality of the first two and I wish they at least had a history as its predecessors , but it did me good online game , I expect to see DLC height for play

No custom servers. No voice chat. We don't get many maps for the premier game modes. They've done little to prevent spawn camping. And argh, helmetless stormtroopers for    Fun, but with shortcomings.

I have play ed bf4 and bf3 and battlefront 2, all are similar to this but the fluidity, the gameplay, graphics everything is better and with jokku coming out the endless amount of content delivers.     Overall I can understand the complaints and I would have preferred a complete game up front rather than a ton of add ons through DLC. The guys complaining that air combat is too easy should figure out how to take it to the next level and the same with the rest of the game play imo. My conclusion is that it is a good game which might become great with updates, I've enjoyed it so far and am not bored after a couple of weeks.    … Expand

    The game is absolutely one of the prettiest titles out for the PS4 right now. Up there with Witcher and Bloodborne. The sound is amazing as well. I would not be surprised if it won an award for visuals or sound.

    It reminds me a lot of Warhawk. A game I can just pick up and play. The leveling progression while providing some nice unlocks does not break the game.     The free DLC is a great way to deliver new content. Battle of Jakku definitely adds value though it looks like they just held that from release. It would be nice to see at least two or three more maps released for free along side the outrageously expensive DLC pass.

    Battlefront(EA),(keep that in mind before you play the game) , this is EA`s take on the classic iconic franchise, and while it is a beautiful game, having gorgeous visuals and absolute spot on sound design(besides the heroes), this game isn't entirely "battlefront". However after unlocking all the star cards, a new addition to the game, and all the weapons, the only thing left to do is unlock the many customization's. (Which may sound cool but besides the amazing shadow trooper and scout trooper, the customization's do not have the substance needed. All in all battlefront is a multiplayer game, and a fun one at that, and while many people believe a grip on the player, if you are fan of star wars and own a respective console, star wars battlefront is a must have.… Expand

    Does exactly what I wanted. An accessible, fun, online Star Wars shooter with staggering visuals, amazing attention to detail and enough modes to keep me occupied for months. It may lack the depth of Battlefield or the immediacy of Call Of Duty, but it's not meant to be either. Accept it for what it is, and what it wants to be, and it's just brilliant.

    How this is getting low reviews confuses me! How this rated lower than Black Ops 3 astonishes me! Star Wars battlefront is an absolute masterpiece! Everything I could have hoped for! After playing 32 hours I can tell you this is not an unfinished game! People expect more and this is what they have given us and be thankful for it! Props to EA and DICE for making a beautiful game.     It's good, but this game have an FX sound bug! The graphics in this game are very very good. But some heroes and villains are OP! (I was thinking about Boba Fett)

    What a wonderful game for online multiplayer lovers. There are many different game modes, so you can choose if you want to play close quarters ( blast), capture the flag(cargo), capture bases (supremecy) or one of the other 6 modes. the pace is right, non stop gameplay for domination. yes there is no single player campaign, but im in it for the online :) and oh ya, the graphics are insane

    Battlefront it´s a good game. One of the best visuals today, tiight and responsive controls and stables online servers make the game meet my expetations. The let down it´s the game have few maps, so the envirioment get´s old quickly, and not all the game types feels "fresh".

Three of the planets are recognisable the other (Solus) isn't all though it is mentioned in the movie Episode VI Return Of The Jedi. Arguably Solus has the best maps.     Very entertaining game with outstanding visuals and action. Cant get much closer to the feeling being in the galaxy far far away. 2 new maps and 1 free new game mode upcoming making this awesome blaster war even better. I reduced 1 point cause of the match making system that does not mix up the teams after matches.

    Sure, the game has some issues, but I don't see why it gets all the hate. Battlefront has AMAZING graphics, it sounds great, and runs smoothly (from a PS4 Standpoint). Now, the only thing left is gameplay - which is, to be frank, highly impressive. I came in with the expectation that this would NOT be a Battlefield with a Star Wars skin; and EA really went above and beyond. The actual game modes were just so fun - especially fighter squadron, heroes vs villains, blast, walker assault and supremacy. I cant stress this enough: vehicles are great.     With the new film of the space opera saga finally on the big screen and the release of Battlefront's new sequel, both after a decade overdue, it is definitely the best time to be a Star Wars fan. The game itself is a dream-come-true for fans, and the Star Wars spectacle is strong in this one. However, if it is depth and longevity you seek... this is not the game you are looking for.
