WOW, This one is scraping the barrel. This is officially the worst game on psn. I cannot believe this garbage was given for free on ps+ this month. I find it insulting because a piece of dog **** would have been more fun and interesting. This is a very basic wave shooter. It's as if some moron took the bonus stages out of a few popular 80s games and made them into one modern disasterpiece.WOW, This one is scraping the barrel. This is officially the worst game on psn. The problem with many 8bit modern games is they completly misunderstand what made games so successful back in the day. They either over complicate them by adding unnecessary mechanics or get the genre wrong. This could have been an interesting side scroller shooter but instead its a wave shooter. Tiny levels with dull backgrounds last a few seconds meaning you never get into the game.Which is a shame because it looked like it could have been fun, the music is pretty well made but you'll forget it after the 10 mins you bother to play before uninstalling and watching paint dry instead.

Boring gameplay and lazy development ruins another homage to the golden era

Shutshimi is a 'bullet' hell game that replaces the usual spaceships with fish and, to be blunt, it’s awful.

Each stage is split into waves (and culminate with a boss fight) but for some reason the developers have decided to make each wave last only 20-30 seconds and, as a result, you spend as much time between waves selecting the next power-up as you do actually playing. Shutshimi

Shutshimi might have got away with this had the gameplay been of a high quality but it pales in comparison to the best in the genre in that regard anyway.

Not even worth bothering with as free PS+ title to be honest.

Coupled with the unique upgrade mechanics and the occasional chuckle you’ll get just from the sheer craziness on-screen, I can recommend Shutshimi to anyone looking for an easy game to waste time with.

Shutshimi is a lot of fun and genuinely funny.

Developer Neon Deity Games' spirited rejection of video-game balance almost qualifies as avant garde.
