    I haven’t finished the game yet but the gameplay is so bad, There’s a lot of bugs and glitches in the game, The framerate keep lowering, The Graphics flashes for some reasons, especially in Style Section, and the controls are extremely terrible!

    I'll give you a 2 for at least attempting to bring back Saints Row but the low score is for the characters that leapt from twitter pages, that dogs*** writing, the absolutely DATED gameplay, bland mission design, and BUGS! Good lord this game needed another YEAR! They delayed this game for 6 months and it still came out as hot garbage.     Should’ve gone the serious Saints Row 1 & 2 route game is glitchy weapons lack impact. This shouldn’t be hard to understand if you care about someone and show up to their place and it’s someone else entirely and they slap you in the face and say “that person is gone aren’t I funny aren’t I cool now give me money” you wouldn’t like it either.     The developers have publicly stated SR4 was a mistake and they are going to fix that mistake by making the most hyper woke gen z game possible. The game is a soulless pure cringe unplayable mess. Anything even remotely fun has been removed from the game. This is what happens when developers hate themselves and hate their customers.

    this is what happenes when u think u tell fans what u think they want instead of giving the fans what we want. what a waste of a reboot they couldn't even reboot SR to redirect the series to go back to its roots of SR 1 & 2 about gritty urban street gangs and street warfare THQ inc is laughing in their grave bcuz even they jump off the ship and wanted no parts of the series after SR 3 they lost money dealing with the trainwreck of a franchise it's problobay one of the reasons why they filed for bankruptcy when they did wnt out business in 2013. this game is a soulless Corporate cash grab that doesn't even attempt to recapture volition's glory days when they were under thq inc. this game is to appease twitter norms that 9/10 won't even buy ur game. this is the type of game that the actual saints row gang would make fun of on the daily and would bully this cast for even using the saints row name.

(It was actually made in tandem with Sarkeesian which is why it's a dumpster fire of nuclear proportions). It's one of the worst games I've ever come across in my life.     I think this game is a lovely game with lots of potential I’m a long term saints row grew up on the first and Second one I got to say this game I love it I’ve put about six days into and I’m not done yet I can see myself playing it for a long while and I will keep coming back to it did the same for cyberpunk 2077

    Doesn’t deserve all the hate. The internet loves to follow trends and hate games that have a buggy launch. I have experienced very minimal issues on ps4 pro. I bought this game on launch and have been playing it since, and enjoyed it. I was a huge fan of the first three games, and to me this was a return to form and everything I would’ve wanted from a reboot. This could’ve been a prequelDoesn’t deserve all the hate.     First of all, the game has very few bugs on it. I've encountered only minor glitches, nothing serious. So, people who claim the game is broken have not even bothered to play it.

    Gameplay is solid. Main missions feel polished. Some side activities still need polishing tho.
    Game is also pretty big. After 15 or so hours, I've only started my criminal imperium and have barely scratched the surface on the puzzles and collectables.
    All in all, I'm very happy with the game, and sure to be happier when the remaining glitches are been dealt with and the visuals receive their final polish.
    So, if you are fan of Saints Rows, and own PS4Pro, do not listen to haters. This is solid game. Sure, the intro part takes ages to play thru, but once the good old SR action starts and you start unlocking the familiar activities around the map, that's when the good times start.    … Expand

    Average game but it so lack of polishes. It barely playable.
    Game itself is 4/10.
    BUT. Breast slider on 100% is like B cup (unlike F in previous game) and this is unacceptable.

    i am playing this game on the base PS4 and so far have not had any bugs that other people have said they have had so I might of been very lucky not to get these bugs or the people that have said they have had these bugs have not played the game enough...... what a surprise...... NOT

    If you enjoy messing around in an open world, this game is phenomenally fun. People are criticizing the bugs. I think Skyrim proved that bugs do not stop a good game. I enjoyed every side mission, every criminal venture, every mission. I loved the cast of characters. The customization options were amazing. I place this just under Saints Row 2 in the quality of games in the series. And it’sIf you enjoy messing around in an open world, this game is phenomenally fun. People are criticizing the bugs. I think Skyrim proved that bugs do not stop a good game. I enjoyed every side mission, every criminal venture, every mission. I loved the cast of characters. The customization options were amazing. I place this just under Saints Row 2 in the quality of games in the series. And it’s my favorite game series! Do not let the reviewers kill a good game. Go in prepared for the bugs.     I just got the game recently and unlike the others reviews overall I'm really enjoying the game, obviously it's not a complex plot and much less acidic than the previous ones, but it brings the whole basis of what Third or the first games was, only in a more refined and robust way... in many cases even more "realistic".

    Regarding the bugs, until the moment of this analysis and almost finishing the game I didn't find any, The scenery is stunning and very alive, reminding me a lot of the second game at certain times, the graphics and design in general I found very well worked, lighting, shadows, just a few cars and people still give the impression of a seventh generation game.

    My complaint is in relation to the customization... yes, as incredible as it may seem, the customization of clothes and personality, gait and voices for your boss is very limited and weak, a strong point and one that I liked a lot from the second game and this one left a lot to be desired.

    But in general... my experience has been good and satisfactory for a Saints Row game, it met my need and I miss the franchise, of course I expected something more acidic and less shy, but I really liked it, I'm sad that people only managed to see all this with views of ideologies and social criticism, but anyway...    … Expand

Normally i don't care too much about how a game looks as long as it isn't distractedly bad but i mean the characters in the sims 4 and civ 6 look better and even the characters in tony hawk underground for gamecube look more realistic then these clay people on top of that the combat is both bad and boring and you should pretty much only use the handgun as the other guns just kick way too much or have a charge up so there not worth using honestly most of the time i was just kicking people.
    The main characters are unlikeable in more ways then one tho Kevin isn't too bad, the main character is idiot and for some reason the game flip flops on if your character is meant to be a badass one man army or someone who can't do anything without help, the marshall's as well as every one in the game aside from when the game actually let's your character be badass are massively incompetent at every thing.
    The driving is really bad as well being even worst then fortnight and final fantasy 15 tho some cars do handle better then others they still feel like **** to drive. I also had a bug which happen a few times where the button to get out of/on the roof of cars didn't work which is game braking if you're doing a mission where you need to get on the roof of a car.
    Now to be fair I knew full well going into this that the characters were going to be annoying and cringe and that the story sucked but my god i was not ready for how bad the rest of the game was, i went into this knowing the characters and story were bad and was just going to give it a pass since i knew it was bad going in but the driving and shooting were so bad as well that i couldn't find any enjoyment in this game. The game also forces you to place six ventures before you can do what is pretty much the final mission since it's all pretty much one long mission after that point and my god it drags on thankfully it doesn't force you to actually do any of the side stuff related to ventures tho you do need to do one side mission to get to the 2nd tire to unlock all the buildings needed to start the final missions. Overall the game was way worst then people made it out to be and it's 100% the worst game iv ever played and iv played some pretty bad games.    … Expand

    J'ai découvert le jeux en septembre 2023 soit 1 an et demie après la sortie grâce au jeux du mois ps+. Je suis sur PlayStation 4.
    Points négatif : - Encore des bugs handicapant (ne pas pouvoir sortir de la voiture, ne pas pouvoir y rentrer donc besoin de redémarrer la partie ect...)
    - Bugs très agaçant ( son de la voiture inexistant malgré les changements audio dans les paramètres,    J'ai découvert le jeux en septembre 2023 soit 1 an et demie après la sortie grâce au jeux du mois ps+. Je suis sur PlayStation 4.
    Points négatif : - Encore des bugs handicapant (ne pas pouvoir sortir de la voiture, ne pas pouvoir y rentrer donc besoin de redémarrer la partie ect...)

    Saints Row went from being a necessary reboot for the franchise to a safe bet for Volition. A generic open world and lack of ideas keep it from being excellent, but it's still fun for fans of the genre.

    Saints Row lost a lot more of its charm with the reboot than it gained. Its new heroes are neither likable nor funny, and the graphics and game mechanics have remained stuck in the depths of the last decade, apparently under an avalanche of technical problems.
