    Saints Row went from being a necessary reboot for the franchise to a safe bet for Volition. A generic open world and lack of ideas keep it from being excellent, but it's still fun for fans of the genre.

    Saints Row got rebooted in a way that should appeal to anyone, meaning it's very safe. And as such, it doesn't interest me in any way. It is a perfect example of a mediocre title - play & forget.

    Saints Row lost a lot more of its charm with the reboot than it gained. Its new heroes are neither likable nor funny, and the graphics and game mechanics have remained stuck in the depths of the last decade, apparently under an avalanche of technical problems.

The internet loves to follow trends and hate games that have a buggy launch. I have experienced very minimal issues on ps4 pro. I bought this game on launch and have been playing it since, and enjoyed it. I was a huge fan of the first three games, and to me this was a return to form and everything I would’ve wanted from a reboot. This could’ve been a prequel it gets so close to the environmental atmosphere of the first game despite it taking place in a desert. The church headquarters is awesome. I despise how whenever a developer tries to do something new they get hate. I hope the Saint’s stick around for more.… Full Review »

I'm sure that appealing to people who our loud on Twitter, but don't actually buy anything will be a winning strategy for Volition. Also the bugs. OMG the bugs! Maybe if Volition had spent less time figuring out how to make it WOKE, they would have found the time to make ACTUALLY TEST IT.

    Also the game is influenced by Anita Sarkeesian. WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD YOU EVER BE INFLUENCED BY THAT TOXIC PIECE OF TRASH is completely beyond me. Game developers forgot that they should make something people WANT to buy. We can get lectures from activists over on Twitter any time we don't want.    … Full Review »
