Visually speaking only a few cracks or partial losses in the armor can be taken seriously, that based on its current generation, the minimum to be expected are some destructible scenery or battle effects better than those presented. It can be said that one of the strongest points in the game is the possibility to play with multiple characters, ensuring that friends and fans of the series, hours of fun, extending the lifetime of this game. As the special moves, known as Big Bang attacks, it has so litle drama or effect that does not refer as well to the famous saga of anime and the fantastic blows and destruction of large proportion. So if you expect a better game than the first games of the series, better hold yourself.

WTF?! Its the same garbo as the mobile and the other (fast check) Saint Seiya: Sanctuary Battle, just reskinned. 0 effort and F-s put into it, so copy paste the review the same way as the previous one!

Its exactly like that mobile game. A bit better, but not by much. I never really watched or liked this anime, and after this game as well, I still don't give a damn / cant feel one with

Its exactly like that mobile game. A bit better, but not by much. I never really watched or liked this anime, and after this game as well, I still don't give a damn / cant feel one with this series. It made more distance then anything else. I never thought I will see another Saint Seiya game that could be almost as bad as that mobile one, but here we are. A total waste!

I've been a fan of the franchise, so I gave it a go. The game isn't either FULLY subtitled or translated, so there are many parts in between where you don't really know what's happening. The menu system is horrible as well. I managed to play a couple of fights, but controls where quite messy, and never really engaged me. I quit after very few hours.

Saint Seiya Soldier’s Soul is a quaint fighting game that has its small playability value robbed by a unique fatal flaw in the restart option that drags the action and frustrates the player.

Fans of the series will probably get a kick out of the use of the source material but it's hard to recommend this game to anyone but said fans of the source material. For everyone else, it's repetitive and probably isn't at the level of depth that most fighting games offer these days.

Saint Seiya: Soldiers’ Soul is a title that fans of the franchise will enjoy a lot, but unless this is a series you know, or one that you have have been thinking of checking out, you may just be better reading the serializations instead.
