    Rocket League is one of the most entertaining and fun games I think I have ever played. Surprisingly deep in its mechanics, everything works perfectly as every game, online or offline, is as ridiculously fun as the one before it. There's also replay value here in abundance, surprisingly, as it's very, very addictive.

    95/100 (rounded to 10/10).

    I think the one word I could use to describe this game is that it's just plain awesome. I am not a huge fan of soccer (football), but when you mix it with rockets attached to cars, you get something unique and fun. I can't tell you how many times I've played this with my buddies late at night or simply starting a single player season and hopefully making it to the championship game.     If you're looking for a fun, repeatable, competitive, sporting experience on console, and FIFA doesn't take your fancy, give Rocket League a try. Football may not be for everyone, but who doesn't love flying, super charged, remote control cars?

    Rocket league is the most addicting game I've ever played before. The game play is fluid, fun, and fast. This game is by far the best sporting game on console at the moment, which really isn't saying much, but regardless, its great nonetheless. The only issue I've come across is skill-based matchmaking which at early levels makes the game fun to learn how t play, but the longer you playRocket league is the most addicting game I've ever played before.     Rocket League is an immensely fun game, centred around the concept of cars playing a giant game of football, that I originally got with PS Plus in July. I, along with many of my friends, were originally skeptical of the game, but eventually warmed to its fun gameplay!
    Single-player is great in itself, with the AIs' of some of your opponents testing your skills. That said, the multiplayer    Rocket League is an immensely fun game, centred around the concept of cars playing a giant game of football, that I originally got with PS Plus in July. I, along with many of my friends, were originally skeptical of the game, but eventually warmed to its fun gameplay!
    Single-player is great in itself, with the AIs' of some of your opponents testing your skills. That said, the multiplayer mode takes the game into a whole new dimension in itself, with fun co-op play testing your teamwork skills and even sometimes destroying friendships! The amount of customisation in the game is also mind-blowing, with the player able to choose from a wide selection of vehicles, make them whatever colour they want, add fun and quirky accessories and much more!
    Rocket League has also frequently been updated with DLC, adding new pitches and vehicles, all of which are reasonably priced.
    The game is a great play with very little negatives, and with an Xbox One version in the works and set to release in early 2016, more people will get to enjoy this fantastic game!    … Expand

    With Rocket League, Psyonix have taken such a simple concept and hit a home run with it. What I love about this game is it doesn't over complicate things and the driving mechanics and so simple, yet still take some skill. As well as this, the games are only 5 minutes long with quick loading times. Because of this, you'll switch the game on with the intention of only playing 1 or 2 matchesWith Rocket League, Psyonix have taken such a simple concept and hit a home run with it.     Let's Break it down.

    Balanced:
    Every car is cosmetic making sure everyone is on the same level no need to Nerf anything. This fact alone makes it the best online game for a long time. Then when you are online there is a solid ranking system that actually matches you quickly to game of similar skill level.

    Fast Paced:
    At 5 minutes a game your attention span is held & it makes for adrenaline filled game play knowing your just a few mins away from loosing or winning. Now let's add in boost for speed altering fun & mayhem adds a dynamic to the game that keeps every moment of the game fun.

    Addictive:
    At 5 min's game who can honestly stop at one? You find your self hooked trying to unlock all cosmetic items that you receive simply by playing a game. This feature alone rewards you to play more, couple that with short games & fast loading times why would you say no to more.

    Simple:
    My dad picked up this game and knew how to play, the rules are simple, the controls, simple. Anyone can pick up and play and have fun. That being said it doesn't stay there. There is enough tricks & abilities such as flying, to give all those who invest time more to achieve & seek.

    Brilliant:
    Rocket League is just the definition of a fun game. Games originally made for leisure & fun, it brings an arcade feel into the 21st century. With constant free updates & tweaks to the game will ensure this game is fun for years to come.    … Expand

    It takes about 10 mins to get familiar with the different techniques you can use - and once you're familiar with them, the playing field is virtually even regardless of rank. This game is so simple but it's SO so addictive.     A great, quick and addictive arcade esport.
    Easy to understand, incredibly tough to master.
    Cars + rockets + soccer = FUN

    A must, with a low price (0 for who had psplus some month ago, still a good price for new players.)

    I idon't like the football, but i like the cars... I recognize this game it´s so fun, you can play with all your family, it doesn´t matter if anybody now how, finally everybodys played.

    Rocket League is imaginative, fun and breath of fresh air. To see something completely new in the gaming world come off so well is great to see. How ironic that a ball game involving jumping cars outdoes this years FIFA instalment.

    Pros: Divertidisimo. Muy resultón visualmente. Aunque no lo parezca, la mecánica sabe premiar tanto al novato como al más experimentado.

    Contra: Personalmente, la inexistencia de atributos en los diferentes coches.

    This game is so good it might as well have the Nintendo seal of quality on the cover. Best game play of the year, best multiplayer of the year, most fun game since Mario Kart 64. This is as good as it gets. Buy it.

    Rocket League is good. The game mechanics are superb and the controls are fluid. I enjoyed playing a few matches of this game, and this is a game I go back to from time to time and have fun with, but the subject matter isn't something that interests me as much. Not being a fan of racing/car games or soccer this game did a lot even getting me to try it out, and I am glad for all the time IRocket League is good.     Loads of customisation items. Literally millions of different combinations.
    The online is very very stable.
    Various ways to play with friends including up to 4 player split screen.
    Cross play for PC and PS4.
    A season mode for offline play.
    Replay editor which also acts as a photo mode is a very welcome feature.
    Future support for the game confirmed, including DLC and free stadiums.
    Day one release on PlayStation Plus for free is a wonderful bonus and a very loyal move from Psyonix to their fans.

    This game is tons of fun and is the most fun I've had with a game in ages. You won't regret picking this up. Although you may never put it down.    … Expand

    The fact that this game is cross plattform is the only reason i like it. If you like cars its mediocre, if you like soccer its a disaster. But if you like fast paced games where you can fool around with your friends its a blast.

    Rocket League is legit. I got the game for free but ended up paying for the awesome soundtrack. Easy to play, more difficult to master, but fun for (I'm assuming) all skill levels. I've never heard a bad word said about the game. Colorful... fun... wait... why did I stop playing Rocket League? Gotta go!

    Loads of whacky and zany fun, also a cheap, simple game that is easy to just jump into with friends. Without a doubt one of the most fun multiplayer games i've ever played.

    It could be a bit more diversified - I would love some power-ups or even weapons. Maybe some grease spots or something. My main quibble back in July was that the AI was terrible, because I was sort of expecting solo play along the lines of Tecmo Super Bowl or something, and that was a bit presumptuous and misguided.     I can get burnt out on it and take two weeks off, then come back and spend another week's worth of free time playing the hell out of it. Even better, aside from DLC stuff (which is completely optional and not required by any means) there is no need to put more money in the game and still get full enjoyment out of it. It's actually depressing how that is a highlight in this age of gaming, but there ya go.

    More recently they launched a new series of game modes, with some taken from the first battle cars game, that really added a sufficient amount of variety to the game and is heavily utilized by the player base. The only downside is the mode is completely random. I'm not a big fan of the low gravity mode but the big ball and cube ball modes are insanely fun.

    Yes the player base has dropped quite a bit. You won't see 50K players online at low peak times anymore and sometimes you can wait 5 minutes late at night (PST) for a 4v4 game with only 150+ players hanging out in that lobby, but going on six months of life there's still no shortage of games and no game modes that are abandoned. Probably the only downside of Rocket League is being a west coast US nocturnal player (9pm-4am PST), which unfortunately I am.

    This is easily the best $20 you will ever spend. When it goes on sale, it's an absolute steal.    … Expand

    Rocket League is a great game at its core, but the lack of a free camera mode and the crappy matchmaking system take away a lot of the fun. You get matched against pre-made parties that are a lot stronger than your own team all the time.

    Rocket League was not a game on my radar. After being available as a free download for PS+ I decided to give it a download and to play it in between grinding through other games. It's the most fun I've had with a game in a while, every chance i got a shot on goal I would scream in excitement for making the goal or yell in disbelief about my teammates messing up shot I'm trying to take.     My ps4 is basically just a Rocket League machine at this point. A very fun game and the most fun I have had with a ps4 since purchase.

    Easily accessible and rewarding to master. You can hop into the game right away and learn the controls within the first 5 minute game.     People who dislike this game, must dislike playing games. I have played this game everyday for the past 3 months and yet have found myself bored. It's amazing how you can play so much, and still want to play some more. Very good and addicting game. Thanks Psyonix.

It may be simple and small, but it may well be one of, if not the, best games ever to come to the Playstation 4. If you have not tried this game out yet, I recommend that you do. Once you get used to the mechanics of the game and understand the fundamentals, you will not be disappointed.Simplistic in design, yet phenomenally well executed as an addictive and incredibly fun sports game. It may be simple and small, but it may well be one of, if not the, best games ever to come to the Playstation 4. If you have not tried this game out yet, I recommend that you do. Once you get used to the mechanics of the game and understand the fundamentals, you will not be disappointed. Also, there are tournaments ever week and you can win prizes and money.     Two reasons i played this game were 1. Free, 2. Easy Platinum. The game is visually appealing and so colorful but when you take the control, its not that much entertaining. It features some pretty interesting customization that aren't available in many sports games out there. Main thing i disliked about this game is gameplay mechanics.     It's a very fun little competitive game. Once you get to learn the mechanics, you can really turn this game into a complicated struggle against other players online. Anyone who's played this game can at least tell you it runs, plays, looks great. The rest comes down to whether this game is for you.

    It's a blast to play and it only gets better as skills improve over time and as the competition ramps up. It's a game that everyone, whether they’re big into sports video games or just can’t seem to get into them, will really enjoy.

    I have no problem saying that this is the best and most original sports game I have played since at least FIFA 12. It mixes all the best elements of sports and online multiplayer games into one in an affordable and seamless experience that looks awesome in YouTube videos as well.
